Ema Skye and Chihiro Fujisaki Appreciation!

Joker Appreciation!

"I like Akira a lot for that thing people associate with him pretty often with the people-pleasing tendencies and this need to find out who he needs to be to get the best results from everyone else. It makes me like the wild card characters or characters who are similar in general but he speaks to me especially, for whatever reason? There's not much that could come from but insecurity I think, but somehow even though he isn't sure of himself he's managed to become a semi-popular figure from being in smash bros and stuff. And people feel inspired by him, it's clear with all those "I'm literally him" jokes there are. I kind of wish I could print that stuff out and shove it in his face and make him realize he can keep unapologetically being himself. And I think part of that is I wish I could do that to me too, but even if it's easy enough to acknowledge insecurity is typically unfounded, it's nearly impossible to make yourself believe it. I just think he would understand that frustration and the identity struggles that come with it and that makes me feel like a connection with him and want to squeeze him a lot. " - IRL Lad

Writing self indulgent fics is actually kind of fun, especially since I fuel my own brainrot and I forget what I wrote a few days later so I'm like: wow!! I am experiencing this as a reader!! Wow, it fills all my self indulgent needs!! Wow!!

I appreciate characters I get attached to but barely even speak, if they do at all. Characters that don't speak have helped my writing a good amount and still help me with trying to practice making connections with small hints or details even just about design, and how that can connect to an overall bigger picture.
