Hi :) looking for a fic

I'm looking for a fanfic on ao3, where Jaskier from the show is actually a modern man who discovers his closet is a doorway to the witcher world. I remember he worked for a ren faire, from where he got the costumes to blend in. Before meeting Geralt he would remake modern songs for medieval audience. Time ran slower in "our" world, so he could spend months traveling with Geralt without anyone noticing he's gone. It was also why he didn't age through those 20 years. Mountain break up happens and Jaskier decided to return to his world permanently, without knowing that after few months and with no news of his bard Geralt started to look for him. In the end, Jaskier can't keep away and they reunite (Ciri's also there).

It was after midnight, the manor was deafeningly quite, while mirroring the darkness of its sole resident's heart.

Lois finished her work with Bruce and rose elegantly to depart.

"So tell me... How does it feel like to be able to make the sun rise yourself?" Bruce murmured, eyes still on the floor, a tired smile tried to light up his despondent expression.

Lois turned, neck tilted in confusion.

"That bastard, somehow he had bribed the sun to come up each time he smiled" a bitter chuckle escaped Bruce's lips, "I asked him not to show his face here again, and it has been stiflingly dark ever since"

"Bruce, what are you talking about?" lois interjected.

"I know you know lois, I just..." Bruce chocked, "God I tried... I tried... And I envy you, I envy you for being able to bask in his light shamelessly while I cower in fear each time my eyes linger too much on him or my hand stays longer than neccessary on his shoulder, and he is kind... he is clueless and allows it because poor lonely bruce deserves charity and it gives me false hope all over again... so I tried to cut out this part of me that belonged to him, I... I tried to strangle it... Ignore it... But I couldn't lois... I couldn't... Because he had become my lifeline... and for that lois... For that... I'm sorry... I never stood a chance" Bruce's voice finally broke, "I promise to get out of your hair soon... Somehow... I promise" Bruce deflated.

Lois didn't understand until 2 months later, when Bruce took her place in being strapped to a bomb of lexcorp design meant to kill Clark's loved one to break him.

There was nothing left of the dark knight except a cracked cowl and a choice to give Clark the happiness he could never give him.

What he never knew that he spared Clark the agony of choosing between Lois and him.

Because he always stood a chance, he just never believed he was worth it.

And that bomb... it did get the one it was meant for.

Ani is also a saber athlete and he is in highschool along with Rex as his best friend

Almost all the Fetts were in the football team at some point in high school when they were in high school 

Ashoka is a freshman that gets adopted by Anakin

The Fetts have a strained relationship with fox because he became a police officer

An incident happens at a football game and Rex gets into a fight with the football coach who is Krell

The idea of a clone commander accidentally saying "I love you" to their jedi general when ending a holo-call --

Would imply that saying "I love you" to end a call is something they do often enough to be a reflex

And out of all the calls they make or take, sure, some are personal, but most are probably professional: coordinating with other units or members of their own, sharing information, giving and receiving orders

So, please imagine clones ending every call to another clone with "I love you"

A commander ending a call to the commander of another battalion they're working with? I love you.

A captain calling a transport to take him and his men back to the ship? I love you.

A scout reporting back with observations? I love you.

A squad leader calling for backup? I love you.

A commander giving orders to all his men during a battle? I love you.

Yeah, even to that vod you've never met before and probably never will again: I love you.

(Even to the squadmate you were arguing with earlier who you'd actually like to punch in the face: still, I love you.)

Because they are vode, all of them, even if they don't actually know each other. Even if they're angry at each other.

In war, and especially in a battle, any moment could be their last. So, so what if non-clones think signing off with "I love you" is strange or unprofessional? They all deserve to hear it.

° Mandalorian Flowers and their meanings °

Ka’kyr'am (Stars of Death) [kah-keer-AHM]

The name comes from the fusion of the words Ka’ra (stars) and Kyr'am (death). They are the flowers most used during funerary rites, and are named as such because of their resemblas to the stars, and because they grow into huge groups of bushes, with their leaves being a dark green, giving the illusions of a starry night in the dark sky. They are the symbol of a promise, for the now dead warrior to be reunited to their ancestors, and that one day them and the living will meet again up there, accross the stars.

Kar’taylir (To Hold in one’s Heart) [kahr-TAI-leer]

The name comes from the fusion of the words Kar’ta (heart) and Taylir (to preserve). This is the flower that most often is born on old battlefields, giving life back to a place of death. They are a symbol of remembrance, to preserve and hold in one’s heart all those that came before them, fought for them and died for them. To keep their memory and fights alive even in death, by growing where their blood as been shed. Some superstitions also say they get their color from the blood of the fallens that waters the earth.

Yust’oya’nau (Road Lighter to Life) [yoost-oy-YAH-now]

The name is the union of the words Yust (road/path), Oya (life) and Nau (light). The full name Yust’oya’nau is used more often in poems or songs, while most mandos, when talking about them, either shorten the name to Yu’nau (road lighter) or St’oya (road to life). Alongside the Eed’mavan, this flower is one of the most common ones, and they are often used together by children to create flower crowns! Thanks to their mostly orange appearance, and the fact they are so common, they are believed to be a constant reminder from the Manda of the beauty of life, of how it’s right in front of you at all times and to fight for it and reach for it every single day, to refuse to die and stubbornly keep going against all odds. To survive and live on.

Ed’mavan (Teeth of Freedom) [edh-MAH-vahn]

The name comes from the union of the words Edee (teeth) and Mavan (freedom). The name appears strange at first, but its full meaning gives a clear explanation: freedom, a gift always taken for granted, can be actually taken away in an instant, and to get it back, to maintain it, one needs to fight for it, even with their teeth and their claws, because no one has to dare to take away the freedom of a Mandalorian without expecting them to fight back.

Cin’aak (White Peace) [SEEN-ahk]

The name comes from the fusion of the word Cin (white) and Naak (peace). They are all different flowers, but they all share the name and the meaning, due to them often being used in the same flower crowns. These flowers are often considered fragile or useless, that are going to die as soon as oneforgets about them for even a day, because they are just like peace, compassion, faith and hope, they need to be cured and cultivated every single day, because none of these things can be taken for granted to survive on its own, none of them are easy to maintain and achieve. And yet, in the end the effort to keep them alive is always worth it, even if they live for only an extra day, even if they die and you have to try all over again, that effort, that new chance is always worth it, no matter the price.

SERVICE DOG PSA

So today I tripped. Fell flat on my face, it was awful but ultimately harmless. My service dog, however, is trained to go get an adult if I have a seizure, and he assumed this was a seizure (were training him to do more to care for me, but we didn’t learn I had epilepsy until a year after we got him)

I went after him after I had dusten off my jeans and my ego, and I found him trying to get the attention of a very annoyed woman. She was swatting him away and telling him to go away. So I feel like I need to make this heads up

If a service dog without a person approaches you, it means the person is down and in need of help

Don’t get scared, don’t get annoyed, follow the dog! If it had been an emergency situation, I could have vomited and choked, I could have hit my head, I could have had so many things happen to me. We’re going to update his training so if the first person doesn’t cooperate, he moves on, but seriously guys. If what’s-his-face could understand that lassie wanted him to go to the well, you can figure out that a dog in a vest proclaiming it a service dog wants you to follow him

Optimus can't take time off because he knows the second he isn't white knuckling the riens, Elita-One, Ironhide, Jazz, and Prowl are going scorched Earth on the Decepticons. It will end the war but it may also classify as a total annihilation.

Optimus, sleeping slightly deeper than he usually would: 😴

Prowl: Optimus is out of commission, I am now in charge. Elita, break out those plans we told him we didn't make, Ironhide, ready the acid bombs, Jazz, grab us a jet. We're ending this war tonight.

Elita "the ends can justify the means" One: You know, I don't think we've properly considered the elegance of germ warfare. We wouldn't even have to get our hands dirty.

Ironhide "I'm just showing him my cannons" the Weapons expert: That'll take too long. Nukes, that's the best way to go.

Jazz "I lead the most lethal fighters on this team" the Spy: We've got one shot, I can sneak in and stash some explosives in their barracks, they'll never catch me. Blow their whole base sky high.

Optimus, waking up in just the nick of time: I am begging you to stand down!

Ironhide: Told you we should have slipped a sedative in his high grade.

Optimus, literally fighting to get out of the Medbay: You don't understand! They're plotting!

Ratchet: You have a broken leg and a head injury, sit your ass down!!

First Aid, who's been secretly trying to help the four of them end this thing: I'll grab a sedative. He may need a week of bedrest.

Meanwhile

Elita-one: Now, I did some research and did you know that half of our war crimes aren't considered war crimes on this planet?

Jazz: Fascinating. What a creative group.

Prowl: Indeed. And Optimus does want us abiding by the laws of this planet.

Ironhide, nodding along: He does.

Prowl: Whelp! Gotta follow orders obey the laws of this planet. It's not a war crime here, Jazz, get the rust bombs.
