2023 Goal Progress - October
First goal update in a while. Lots of things happening in life right now so itā€™s challenging to juggle and improve on a lot of my goals at the moment. Still working towards them and they are going well. Only 2.5 months to the end of 2023 so will be doing what I can in the following months to improve. A few of them are a bit of our reach unfortunately, but happy with how they have beenā€¦

A bit of a slow month for February. A few changes here and there but nothing particularly special to report on (which is the usual case for working towards goals haha). Business goals not where I want them to be ā€“ but working a lot on them and have hope for the near future. Havenā€™t been contributing to investment portfolio recently so a lot of the financial goals are fairly standard. Noā€¦

2023 Goal Progress - February
January is gone, and with it, some progress! Not as much as Iā€™d hoped, but itā€™s early in the year and things are slowly getting there. I didnā€™t manage to hit a few of the larger goals as they are likely to take a lot of time, but hoping to be much closer by mid-2023. Happy with how things have been going so far and Iā€™m excited by all of my goals (all of them are ambitious.. :P). I am enjoyingā€¦

Making this post a little late, but here are my goals for 2023! My biggest priority will be growing Nathanā€™s Mobile PT and Iā€™m excited to see where I will be by the end of 2023. I also have other goals related to financial/wealth and health/fitness, but with a focus on a few key goals to work towards rather than a lot of smaller goals. And thatā€™s a wrap for my 2022 goal review! 2022 felt like a big year and I managed to achieve a number of my goals. The biggest area of growth was my business, Nathanā€™s Mobile PT. This became a priority for most of my year, which has been really fun and challenging at times, but I ended 2022 in a great position! Writing this almost in mid-December which means there is just over 2 until 2022 is over! Looking over my goals now, some of them definitely wonā€™t be achieved, but I can put in some work now to put me on a better start in 2023. Itā€™s insane that itā€™s already November (mid-November as I write this). I realise now that with only 1.5 months left of the year, some of my goals are very unlikely to be achieved (never say never though). Mostly my financial/wealth goals havenā€™t progressed as Iā€™d hoped or planned for, but some things are outside of our control and also just require a bit more discipline. 2022 Goal Progress ā€“Ā October
September was a pretty slow month. Not much is happening at the moment. The share market is still on a slow downward trend and my focus is just on saving money (to invest and save up for a new (used) car). Nathanā€™s Mobile PT is going along smoothly but Iā€™ll need to review and assess the current business model and what we currently offer so it is a bit more self-sustaining. I Did Planks Every Day for 30 Days ā€“ INSANEĀ Results
Something Iā€™ve always been amazed about is how someone can hold a plank position over 8 hours.. Itā€™s insane considering I can only manage about 1 to 1.5 MINUTES max. For the next 30 days, Iā€™m going to be doing planks every day to see what happens. Iā€™m hoping that a daily practice will improve my maximum time. Iā€™ll have to look into some programming, but Iā€™m planning on doing at least 3 intervalsā€¦

August has been pretty slow regarding finances. My initial goals/targets for wealth are slipping away quickly due to pretty high volatility throughout the year. My personal training business, Nathanā€™s Mobile PT, is growing at a steady pace and Iā€™m seeing more consistent monthly revenue. Iā€™m currently working on some 30-day challenges and wanting to get into writing up some older challenges toā€¦

I didnā€™t think much changed in July, but looking at my finances in early August itā€™s great to see increases across the board! Most of my other goals are tracking along smoothly ā€“ and I now realise that some will be very difficult to achieve. Itā€™s great that Iā€™ve achieved a number of goals I originally set out already. Most of them I wonā€™t know until the very end of 2022 whether Iā€™ve achievedā€¦

I was training for a half marathon personal best in September but with a slight injury and it getting closer and closer to the date I might have to abandon these plans and use the half marathon as a nice slow run to practise and find another half marathon a little bit later when I can get training back in. A little bummed, pain is in the medial gastrocnemius muscle of the right leg and hurts after even a short run at this stage.
