For ppl who don't know how to source their stimboards

PLEASE learn how to actually source ur goddang stimboards

Us gif makers put alot of hard work, effort & talent to perfect our gifs (some of us even take hours do to that) & it's super unfair to not get credited if our work gets used!!

When I was very new to stimblr, on my old @boba-foxy blog (which is now an acc for mainly rb-ing random stuff, but was once like a stimblog before I made this one) I didn't know how to like source my stimboards & I DID get blocked by some famous stimblr ppl (I think) for not sourcing their gifs bc I didn't know how to do it at the time.

And after making my first stimboard with actual gif sources (this) I was GENUINELY proud of myself & thought I made a big leap ahead into my stimblr journey (and I did ofc)

With posting unsourced stimboards, it would make u look like u made all of those gifs urself & many gif sources are pretty hard to find if used in alot of unsourced stimboards & might take an absurd amount of like reverse image searching & said sources would get lost & potentially become lost media

+ for some reason, like 70% of the stimblogs I see (usually regression oriented) usually don't have like gif sources and that kinda makes me furious tbh

If u don't know how to source ur boards, just PLEASE do it! It helps the original giffmakers (including me) as well!

Enough of yapping (made this post bc of my latest follower as of now being an acc which posts unsourced stimboards)
