CW: Odontophobia
Inspired by a page in @deadeyedfae 's comic Moribund:
All immortal people would eventually have HELLA dental issues, right? Like, even if you heal from every injury, teeth simply do not heal. Those "permanent teeth" are gonna seem a lot LESS permanent to somebody who's lived for hundreds of years! They'd eventually decay or get knocked out or even just get chipped until they're worn down to the nub!
I could totally imagine a world where one way to tell that someone is immortal is if they look like they're 25 but have the dentures of a 90-year-old! Like obvs you'd need other signs since there ARE young people who need dentures after all, but that could be one of the first indications to help you narrow it down!
Only exception I can think of might be vampires. A lot of sharp-toothed predators IRL (like sharks and alligators) keep growing new teeth and replacing their old ones over time, so maybe vampires would do the same since they're predators (dietary not sexually ofc) as well!
I could totally imagine a young vampire learning the ropes from an older one, and then one day a few of their teeth just fall the fuck out and their mentor says "yeah they do that sometimes lol"
(You should read Moribund btw, it's good and it's about a trans woman vampire, but be warned it may make you sad. I promise the teeth thing isn't really a part of it, I'm just hyperfixating on a throwaway line lol. It's on both @deadeyedfae 's Tumblr and on Webtoon!)

Like (if it was just one that was trans) interspersed between scenes of them failing at each other's jobs that they didn't appreciate each other over at the start of the episode are scenes of one of them (the trans one) clearly happy being in the other's body and doing gender-affirming things in it.
When it's time to swap back, the trans one is hesitant to do so, then they have an argument about it where the cis one is angry/upset and the trans one gets really scared and tries to run, but ultimately gets cornered. They confess, crying, that they're happier in their new body than they ever were in their old one-their old body just feels so wrong to them now, they've never been comfortable in it, they can't bear to be in it for a second longer.
The cis one clearly understands and comforts them with a hug, but says that right now they're feeling all of those negative feelings, and that's not fair. They also promise to help the trans one be happy in their original body. This causes the trans one to agree to swap back, they're clearly not happy with it but know that it's what has to be done.
Episode ends with the cis one inviting the trans one over to their house and giving them gender-affirming clothes and stuff, causing them to become happy again.

Some potential character ideas:
An Endocrinomancer (Hormone magician) who works at an HRT clinic and uses their magic to give themself their own HRT!
A Dwarf with a talent for Lithomancy (Stone magic) revered by their people for their mastery over ROCK AND STONE!
A Steve Irwin-esque character who's a trained Suchomancer (Crocodile magician)!
Whatever you want! The world is your oyster magic (Ostreoidamancy)!
I feel like a lot of magic worlds should have like a hundred different words for the different types of magic, like how doctors have different words for what they're trained for or specialize in!
"Yeah, I'm an Evoker, specializing in Cryomancy." (Ice magic)
"I am Lythorin, trained Abjurer with a focus on Aspidomancy." (Shield magic)
"You've got a turtle problem? Don't worry, I am well-versed in Chelonimancy!" (Turtle magic)
And you can make up your own magic types by just picking a greek or latin prefix and putting "-mancy" at the end of it!
Examples:
Velocimancy: Speed magic
Cephalomancy: Head magic
Chloromancy: Green magic
Dendromancy: Tree magic
Heptamancy: 7 magic
The possibilities are endless!

(D&D 5e 2014 rules)
I think I found a backdoor into reattaching limbs at 5th level (normally you'd have to wait until 13th level when you can learn the 7th level spell Regenerate):
When a creature dies, it becomes a corpse-which is an object. The cantrip Mending lets you repair a break or tear in an object-in this case, reattaching a limb to a corpse. Unfortunately Mending does take 1 minute to cast, thus preventing you from casting the 3rd level spell Revivify right after, but casting the 2nd level spell Gentle Repose first will allow you to extend the one-minute timer that Revivify has!
So-if somebody in your D&D party gets a part of their body cut off, simply do the following:
1. Fucking kill them
2. Cast Gentle Repose
3. Cast Mending
4. Cast Revivify
Hell, the Gentle Repose-Mending-Revivify combo can even work for decapitations!
Now I'm imagining the party goes to the cheapest limb-reattachment clinic in town:
"Alright-my methods are a little unorthodox, but they do work."
"Please, whatever it takes, I just need my arm back-I'm an archer, I can't make a living without it!"
"I understand-just trust the process." (Grabs sledgehammer)

Hey since it's about to be the 40th anniversary of Back To The Future, can we PLEASE get some more trans Marlene McFly content (fics, fanart, etc)? There is NOT enough of that and I think it's a damn shame!
Also if y'all have any trans Marlene fic recs, please provide! I've read all of the ones I'm aware of, but hopefully there are some that I'm not!

Just realized how funny it is that THIS was the last thing I posted before entering 4+ years of radio silence-I wonder if anybody thought the amethyst killed me lol
Amethyst doesn't taste like anything. I expected it to taste salty or earthy, but it didn't taste like anything. Just a surface pressed against my tongue.

The Crossroads of Transition
Zuko realizes that Ozai will never accept her as his daughter, and so is forced to choose between the life she lived before and the one she has now.
I've been seeing a lot of good transfem Zuko content lately, and figured I should throw my hat in the ring!

Headcanon: Firebenders use their firebending to shave their facial hair.
They make a candle-sized flame on their fingertips and put it up against their skin, and their natural firebending reflexes prevent them from getting burned. This allows them to get some of the cleanest shaves on the planet. A stylized beard (like Zhao's, Iroh's, or Ozai's) is therefore a demonstration of firebending ability, as it proves you are able to use your fire to burn only what you want to and with extreme precision.
Also I just like the idea of Zuko feeling some stubble growing in and making a little fire that sounds like a blowtorch and just dragging it across his chin as part of his morning care routine.
(Note: Those "natural reflexes" I mentioned would only work for small flames, which is how Zuko was still able to get burned by Ozai. However, they still might have been what prevented him from going blind in that eye)

Wilma Blazkowicz
William "B.J." Blazkowicz. Ranger. Army. USA. A square-headed high-school jock with a heart of gold, and the best goddamn nazi-killer this side of the gates of hell.
And also a trans woman.
Fic about the main character of Wolfenstein as a trans woman! Because of how heavy the original game can get at times, each chapter has its own content warnings for anybody who needs them.
Not finished with this fic as of the time I'm writing this, but there are 13 solid chapters already uploaded!
Edit (5/15/25): 14 chapters, now!

Vyrsa's Log
A young Blue Rogue writes a journal, chronicling her journeys to stop the Valuan Empire, save the world, and discover that she is trans. (Guess which will be hardest for her.)
This is the first fanfic I ever posted (or at least the first few chapters were) and, while I would change a few things if I got the chance to do so, I'm still proud of the accomplishment!

I'm envisioning the story as a three-episode arc:
First episode starts with Jade being mean to Tori for no reason (let's say splashing Tori's drink in her face after she tells a funny joke) and, after Jade leaves, Tori wonders out loud why Jade hates her so much and sets out to make it up to her since it's weird for two people in their friend group to have a rivalry like this (not sure if this would be the A plot or the B plot for the episode). Throughout this plot, Tori repeatedly comes up with different things she's done that could have made Jade mad at her and getting her a gift as an apology, but each time Jade just gets mad, destroys/trashes the gift, and storms off. This happens three times, each time being an apology for a worse action with a better gift in return. At the last one (I think it'd be "I'm sorry I kissed Beck on my second day in class, here's a prop from The Scissoring"), after Jade storms off, Tori decides to follow after her. She finds Jade crying in an alley, but momentarily doesn't care as she starts laying into her and demanding to know why Jade hates her so much. For once, Tori is the one being aggressive (only verbally but still) and Jade is the one reeling back. After Jade stammers out some fake reasons and Tori denies them, putting the pressure on further, Jade blurts out "Because I LIKE you, okay!?" and looks scared as she realizes what she just said. Tori's confused and asks her to elaborate, and Jade explains that she was originally mean to Tori because she got into the school through the competition instead of actually having to work for it, but then later on realized she had feelings for Tori-she loves her more than she's ever loved Beck. Unfortunately, she thought that her mean behavior had already ruined her chances with Tori, so she continued being mean in hopes that Tori would stop being in her life so she wouldn't have to feel so bad. After a little while into this confession, Tori comforts Jade and gives her a hug, which Jade fortunately lets herself lean into. At the end of the episode, Jade is dropping Tori off back home and asks if Tori likes girls too. Tori says she's never really thought about it before, and will let her know.
The second episode starts with Jade getting a brief pep talk from Tori and breaking up with Beck. She'd say something like "I've been thinking about it, and I don't think you're the kind of person I want to spend my life with. I think we should break up." and Beck accepts it, saying it was nice while it lasted (even if, really, it often wasn't). This episode's plot would center around the friend group's reactions to this breakup. I think Andre would pretty quickly assure Beck that Jade will take him back soon, but Beck says "I don't know, usually when we break up she's screaming and throwing things. This time it looks like she's really thought about it. I don't think it's gonna happen. Besides, I'm not worried" and Andre asks him why not, cueing Beck to open up the blinds in Sikowitz's classroom revealing a gaggle of dozens of girls vying for his affections and holding signs and stuff. In the episode proper, Andre and Cat start playing matchmaker to try to get Beck and Jade back together (Andre thinking this is what his friend wants and Cat thinking that Jade is a hundred times meaner to her when she's broken up with Beck), Tori tries to talk them out of it without revealing too much, and Robbie also tries to talk them out of it but purely because he's also trying to get Jade to date him the entire time (Rex would either encourage him so he can have fun watching Robbie crash and burn or tell Robbie he has no chance with her and be repeatedly proven right as grander and grander gestures keep going unsuccessful). In the end they all accept that Beck and Jade are broken up for good and Robbie accepts that he has no chance with Jade (for multiple reasons). Also, throughout this episode, there are a bunch of scenes of Jade and Tori interacting that show that they DO work together.
Third episode would have some kind of dance going on at Hollywood Arts. Doesn't matter what, what matters is that (like the last episode) it would have a bunch of scenes of Jade and Tori alone together, perhaps working towards a common goal, showing a lot of real chemistry between them. Towards the end of the episode, Tori and Jade decide to get away from the party and sit on the main staircase together (the one that shows up in every episode). The two of them have a lighthearted chat about the episode's events and/or some funny things they saw offscreen at the party, then Tori tells Jade that she's been thinking and has figured herself out. She tells Jade that she likes guys (Jade briefly gets sad) and also girls (Jade looks more hopeful), she's bisexual. They talk a little more (primarily about girls they both find hot now that they both know they're both interested in that), before broaching the topic of potentially dating. They decide to try it out, and slowly, tentatively, share a kiss. They agree to keep this secret from the rest of the friend group, at least for now. Cue Robbie spilling out of the trash can (because of something that happened in the B plot), having seen/heard everything. He swears he won't tell, but Jade and Tori decide to tell everybody else anyway (since everybody knowing is better than just Robbie knowing). They head back to the party and meet up with the friend group. They announce their relationship via Jade pulling Tori into a dip and planting a kiss on her lips. Everybody's cool with it, and Beck realizes that probably had something to do with why he and Jade never worked as a couple.
Rest of the series has Jade and Tori in a committed and healthy relationship together, with all the black cat/golden retriever dynamic stuff that people who like this ship LOVE to see. Jade would still be her usual edgy and mean self, but would have a soft spot for Tori.
Anyway I just spent like 30+ minutes of my life writing about a hypothetical ship for a show that went off the air 12 years ago. That's the power of autism!
Hopping on this account I haven't posted on in years to give my thoughts on this:
Whenever I see Jori ship stuff, if their sexualities are specified at all it'll usually be that Tori is a lesbian and Jade is bisexual. Personally, I think it makes more sense the other way around!
Like, think about it-Jade only ever dates ONE guy (Beck) throughout the series and it has NEVER been a good or healthy relationship. It could be that she doesn't know that she's a lesbian and is just getting with the guy everyone says is the hottest because she doesn't realize she's supposed to actually like being with her boyfriend (she strikes me as a "love isn't real it's just a lie we tell ourselves to sell more valentine's cards and make us feel better about dying" type). It could also be that she DOES know she's a lesbian, but isn't ready to come out yet and is using Beck as a beard until then.
Tori, meanwhile, had multiple boyfriends throughout the series that she seems to have at least been attracted to and/or liked being with. I'd say that Tori is definitely attracted to guys based on that fact. Also there are so many girls who say that Jade was their bisexual awakening that it'd be incredibly funny (and also sweet) if she did that for Tori as well!
So yeah, lesbian Jade and bi Tori is my headcanon!
