Lesson 003 | Life, Self
I have scars. You have scars. They each have a lesson and a story.
So, when I think about it like that, I have to wonder: why would we try to hide them? They’re our stories to tell.
They mean that we’ve been somewhere. They mean that we’ve experienced something.
And, most importantly, we survived.

It is horribly easy to write stereotypes. But remember that if you do write them, then not only are you in danger of misrepresenting humanity (just as you are not a stereotype, neither are other people), you are also in danger of bad plotting.
