Grooming victims aren't incapable of telling right from wrong, or of being aware of the atrocities they're being pushed to think/do. I say that as a victim of grooming myself.

My point is, someone isn't entirely faultless if they were groomed into alt-right beliefs. You can't be groomed into being a nazi. Your groomer may push you toward that, but ultimately you choose to believe those things. You actively decide to cause harm to marginalized groups.

This isn't to say that reformed ex-reactionaries can't be forgiven or can't join leftist spaces. But they need to be aware that not all marginalized people will trust them, especially not right off the bat. If a few years ago, you thought trans people don't deserve rights, you should understand that not all trans people will be comfortable with you.

To put it bluntly, it will be legal for doctors to leave me to die because I am trans.

Yesterday, Gov Hutchinson vetoed another anti-trans bill; however, the remaining legislation passed it anyway, overriding his veto. This bill has made it a felony for any doctor to provide trans youth with gender-affirming treatment like HRT.

There's another bill coming up that bans trans people from sports.

Put the pressure on. These bills are deadly.
