Update: Found them! They were just in my the other bag and got mixed up while making sure I had everything before I left the hotel. The charms slipped into a small pocket in my bag and I didn't see it while unpacking. Thank goodness they didn't get lost though.

I was looking through my stuff from Wondercon since I got to attend and apparently I managed to loose two items I got from an Artist's Alley booth. I'm gonna assume I lost it somehow while getting back home from the hotel I stayed at or from unpacking cause and I put them in the wrong suitcase.

If anyone is interested in what the items were, they were double sided charms. One was of Hua Cheng and Xie Lang under an umbrella and the other was Idia and Ortho. If I somehow do find them I will reblog this post.

Yuu: In fact, you actually looked really cool in a suit. Everyone did actually. All of you looked like real grooms.

Ace: Aww, thank you Prefect. So which one of us would you marry?~

Yuu: Oh, Idia definetly.

Ace: What?

Idia: WHAT!?!?

Yuu: What? Despite him being a foul mouthed, shut in otaku he's probably the most tolerable out of everyone here. Plus look at him, he screams groom material with that outfit on.

Idia: P-prefect please I don't....

Yuu: Idia, please just accept this win for once.

Idia: This really isn't a win though...

Twistober 2023 Day 19: Fireworks are beautiful

(This is a short writing for my Digimon x TWST AU that takes place during the Firelit Sky event.)

How could they forget how beautiful fireworks are?

They sat there, watching the fireworks as they rocketed toward the sky, blooming into a magnificent flower of lights against the night sky. It was all just so beautiful. It reminded them of those moments in life they felt joy. It reminded them of the beauty the world can hold.

It reminded them… the fireworks reminded them of home.

Back when they were just a young child, in a far away village away, buried in the sands. While small it was always busy. Let it be from locals, travelers, adventurers, and merchants, their village was always busy. Especially around the time of festivals.

It was strange to celebrate it when they were this far out in the desert. But they didn't care. They just cared because they could enjoy the time they had in their home. Enjoy the food that would always be available during that time of year. Enjoy…

Enjoy how back then they could watch the fireworks with their family. The people who took them in and taught them everything they know. They got to celebrate with them.

Though it is strange this time as they watched the fireworks burst in the sky. They felt joy from seeing them, yet they also felt a sense of longing. To go back to simpler times. To go back in time to their loved ones. To go back to… to…

. . .

That's odd. They felt something wet against their face. Their vision seemed to get more blurry. They could even hear noises, they seemed to be getting louder the more they lost focus. It's almost like… Are these voices calling to them?

"YUU!!!"

Yuu blinked, snapping out of their trance. Looking around they saw Grim, their fellow classmates, and their digimon partners all staring at them. Worried expressions on their faces, Kalim being the most prominent. He was sitting next to them and out of all of the others he had the most worried expression of all, tears streaming from his eyes.

"YUUU!!!!" Kalim tackled Yuu. The digimon, unprepared, just sat there as the Housewarden hugged tight against them. “Yuu, is something wrong!?”

“Huh, Kalim is everything is okay why-” They were interrupted as they felt their robes being tugged. Looking to their left, Yuu saw Grim hugging them tightly. “Grim, you too. I’m fine.”

“Uh, Yuu,” Cater said nervously, “If you're that okay then why did you suddenly burst out the waterworks?”

“Waterworks?” Yuu questioned.

“He is correct, Baal. You started crying as soon as the fireworks went off.”

“Crying?” Yuu wiped their eyes and looked down. The glove they wore was stained by the tears, feeling cold and wet. “Oh… I guess I was.”

“Is something wrong Yuu, do you not like the fireworks!?” Kalim looked worriedly at Yuu. Yuu moved their hand to wipe the tears from their eyes.

“No it’s not that. I just really got reminded of home…”
