A Compilation of Things my Intro to Cinema Professor has said/done

One time, while we were waiting for the rest of the class to arrive, he went a long tangent about different cat breeds after someone brought up the Cats movie. Not bad, but the tangent lasted nearly thirty minutes and took up a quarter of the class.

Said that a college student has the collective attention span of a class of kindergartners, and that’s why he tried to pick short movies for the screenings.

Went on a tangent about how to edit super speed in order to properly capture that feeling of speed and what the fuckery

Showed us a movie he shot and filmed himself (it was actually pretty good) and then made us a quiz for extra cred on the movie

Always wears a printed button up. Ugliest printed button up imaginable

Saw that I had as my background on my laptop (I was sharing my screen for the class), paused, and proceeded to tell me that his daughter was also aroace

A video is leaked of Batman deep into a lecture rant. Of course it has to be him repremanding any of the kids and teens he works with right?

Wrong. In the last second the camera pans to show Superman and some other Leaguers.

As someone who does color guard all i can think about is the batfam trying to do color guard and its hilarious.

Alfred: id rather not get hit in the face today master bruce.

Jason: oh come one this should be fun besides as bruce put it ’ItS FAmIly ExErCise’

Bruce: its all right Alfred and i do not sound like that.

Damian: its debatable.

Tim: so how do you do this.

Dick: i dunno know lets just look it up.

Bruce: oh jeez

~ a few moments later~

Damian: (holding the flag like its a sword) FIGHT ME TODD!

Jason: (also holding flag like a sword) BET !

Bruce: NO NO NO FIGHTING!

Tim: (holding his nose) BRUUUCE I THINK I BROKE MY NOSE!!

Dick: (doing drop spins and tosses) I think i got it. hey guys look. (looks around no ones looking) Oh come on. (Drops flag and walks off)

All the rest of the boys: BRUUCE I HIT MY FACE.

Alfred: (holding bridge of nose and sighing) How is it you all fight criminals but cant seem to not hit yourself in the face with a six foot pole? And one of uses a bostaff and the other uses swords.

I know that this means nothing to anyone but me, but Damian Wayne would be pressured by Dick into joining a club or sport at school, and he would choose colorguard without understanding what it really is. He would love it because they give him a sword.

I tried to make a post abt this earlier with a video earlier but the draft crumbled to dust and glitched out, so with photos now- but I recently got a mobile update that has almost completely ruined the usability of the app for me-

As you can see, the explore tab has become mainly algorithm-based, and the only way to access the tags you follow are by filtering on your main page or explicitly searching it on the explore tab.

It’s incredibly frustrating organizationally, it gets rid of the niche tag based featured posts, and is all around a bother and ugly. I can’t easily access new posts about my interests, and tumblrs shift towards “you see what WE want you to see” is the exact opposite of why so many people enjoy this space in the first place- if any of the other updates I’ve seen go into effect along with this one, consider tumblr officially unusable

Being a fan-in-law is a nice bit of fun. For me it’s different from just “valued mutual likes something and I like to see them have fun,” sometimes I do develop a genuine fondness towards the thing in question. I recognize that it is probably very different from the fondness an actual fan has but like, it’s fun anyway. Like, no I will not watch that show but yes I do want to see your gijinkas of the characters. I hate that band’s music but I LOVE to see how you stylize their faces. god bless or whatever

final batch of rise color palettes! i tried to include each form the character takes on as a bonus :) i might do more for some villains eventually, but this is all i’ve got for now

note for big mama: there seems to be some instances in which her human!form appearances more pink-ish. but, given that the purple tint is more common, that’s the one used
