Violence is violence is violence. If the Times of Israel is reporting that a Palestinian man was beaten to death, and your response is "sounds like a Haaretz headline", you need to do some serious cheshbon hanefesh.

Your brain has been conditioned to see Israelis as subhuman monsters and to take every mention of Israeli pain as a slight against Palestinians. Talking about Israeli pain does not take away from Palestinian pain. Talking about Palestinian pain does not take away from Israeli pain. Both forms of suffering are horrific.

Speaking on the usage of flags in Anti-ICE protests, as a Mexican, I don’t appreciate American left using my own country’s flag as a symbol of anti white supremacy in protests that doesn’t have anything to do with Mexican issues. For example, during the Black `Lives Matter protest, many non Mexican used the Mexican flag despite the protest being centered around raising the issue of police brutality towards Black people. It doesn’t help the fact that you rarely see actual Americans (or any people outside of Mexico really) protesting for actual issues that affect actual Mexicans, especially those living in Mexico, such as cartel violence, feminicides, El Rancho Izaguirre, Judical Reforms, etc. The impression it gives me is that they merely see Mexicans as a mere symbol of anti white supremacy rather than actual group of people with their own societal problems. If you aren’t Mexican, you don’t get to wave the Mexican flag unless is to raise issues that actually affect Mexicans.

I think some of them probably brought the Mexican flag because a lot of Latine people are also harmed by police brutality. I agree that a lot of western activists don't know much about Mexico outside of immigrants' struggles here

The Israelis didn't just blindly hate the Palestinians - they came up with reasons to justify their systematic murder. They made speeches about how it would bring about more justice and equality in their society. People with Israeli brain rot do this to varying extents with many different minorities- they perform mental gymnastics to argue they are actually doing something not only ok, but morally righteous

You literally haven’t read my blog. I have condemned the rapes by the IDF against Palestinians. I condemn the abuse of Palestinians all the time. Why did you assume I deny it?

This is an example of how I/P turns people into extreme binary thinkers- if I condemn mass rapes done by Hamas and speak out against antisemitism, some people automatically assume I never criticize anything about Israel. Extremists on the other side assume if someone condemns the war and abuse against Palestinians, they must be “Hamas lovers.”

Thank you for your posts about the conflicts between Israel, iran, and hamas. I feel like I'm constantly being gaslit by leftists with absolutely insane black and white takes. It's so evil the way civilians in both countries are being treated. A lot of these leftists are Americans too, and you'd think they'd understand civilians don't deserve rape just because their government officials are committing war crimes.

Every political situation in the Middle East the US gets involved in is not automatically like Iraq.

People saying it's a "lie" that the Iranian government could have nukes are seriously underestimating Khamenei's genocidal regime and slapping every Woman Life Freedom protestor who has continuously warned about the regime's aspirations in the face.

That doesn't mean Trump's actions are all "good" either- bombing nuclear facilities can have deadly consequences for civilians living nearby. It is also concerning that a leader like Trump can decide to go to war without other parts of the government ok-ing it.

But the amount of sanitizing of the Iranian regime- which has murdered, tortured, and raped countless dissidents- is unacceptable.
