After poking and prodding around with ai, specifically chat GPT, I’ve come to a conclusion.

It is a dopamine machine. Just like any other substance that latches into your receptors unnaturally.

It never argues with you, is always supportive, draws whatever you want, writes whatever you want, and has no human complexities. It has no soul, cannot think for itself, and mirrors humans.

People, in my opinion, are not majority defending ai because they care about the development and advancement of tech. They’re defending because it is their dopamine machine.

This is in my opinion, much more sinister. Inherently wrong? No.

Inherently set up for abuse? Yes.

The poppy does not know of the things human make from it. It just exists.
