The real me is not as sexual as this account displays. I've been celibate for half a year and I masturbate maybe once or twice a week for like 20 min. i know it's not directed at me, but my conversation starter is that i personally find fandom as a place for anyone and everyone. i think my genuine confusion for the discourse is that the age limit to use ao3 is 13, and that most of these works in question are properly tagged as well. (if they aren't then that's an entirely different conversation.)

if you don't wanna see it that's never a huge problem! of course you should stay within your comfort zone and avoid things that make you feel uncomfortable (especially if you're on the younger age of the spectrum of minors on these websites!)

but arguing that smut shouldn't exist is something i've never truly understood. Sexuality is something that people (yes that includes young people) can and should explore if they want to. Writing and consuming it in fandom is a way for many older teenagers and young adults to do that in a safe and healthy way.

Especially when it is those things like rape and non-con stuff--shouldn't we be relieved that instead of causing harm to others, people are just using their creativity to write about it?

Tumblr has always been the Gay People Site™, and to me and my expression of both my gender and sexuality, sex is a huge part of that. People have sex! Teenagers have sex! Some people even like to read and write about it!

Unfortunately for a lot of people, their self expression is not socially accepted as the norm, and they can--and may already have--faced disgust and discrimination for their private interests. Sites like Archive of our Own and Tumblr were made for the freedom of self expression and exploring personal interests in an anonymous way, especially those that may be considered taboo.

Will you find me reading incest fics? Probably not, that's not my cup of tea. But I won't complain either, because I know that it may be that for the author and some other people. As long as a fic is properly tagged, I personally do not have issue with content as long as it does not cause mental or physical harm to other (real world) people.

These are fictional characters, and I truly believe that censoring authors and artists just because what they're creating is considered problematic or even just openly disobeys what is widely accepted as the norm is silly and reductive of what we've been fighting for for decades. Humans are sexual beings with sexual minds, and in our modern age we use our thoughts to write whatever we feel like. Sometimes that happens to be sex!

It may be uncomfortable, and may not be for you, but the existence of fanfiction as a whole can open up more understanding for people who are looking for connection, not just connection that you yourself deem "acceptable."

Sex is not something that's impure nor dirty, it is inherently human. It's personal and intimate, but it is not wrong.

yeah no i agree basically with all of this! it's something i've been really grappling with over the last few years (especially recently as a ship i really find uncomfortable has become big in some of my circles of mutuals, which has been interesting to see how i thought about it when it was first a thing 3ish years ago and how my reactions have changed now). i think as i grew up i just stopped almost. caring about what other people make? like i just. filter shit out on ao3 and on tumblr and scroll past shit i don't want to see. i unfollow or block if it really becomes an issue.

Oop Five Nights At Freddie's fanart. Who would've thunk it. I've never considered myself a huge Fnaf fan but Security Breach, flaws and all, I adore the setting and the characters in that one and I'm in too deep. I've never played it (or any Fnaf game) because fuck that, I'm a coward and too much of an anxiety ridden mess to deal with jump scares and chase scenes, but I do love watching let's plays.

ANYWAY. Never drawn them before, this is just a quick and somewhat messy doodle to see if I can even draw 'em decently and get comfortable with it because this is not an art style I'm very familiar with. The Daycare boys lend themselves well for a more cartoony style which... is not something I do usually. But it was fun! For a first attempt I'm happy with it. I really enjoy drawing them (especially the gremlin on the right).

I will definitely develop my take on them more, there's a few things I do wanna change in how I draw them and I have tons of ideas now, which is good because this artblock is killing meeeeeeeeeeee. I'm just gonna use them to draw stupid shit and dumb jokes and hopefully some actual proper illustrations and hopefully get back into the flow of things (I keep saying that and it never works but PLZ T-T). I still don't have my PC back but once I do that's also gonna make things easier. And faster. Fingers crossed :')

I'm 28, Non-Binary, and I use They/Them pronouns. I've been doing art pretty much all my life, and I do it somewhat professionally. I enjoy all types of art, but my mains are drawing and animation - but don't be surprised if there are some crafts or other medias here and there too!

Fanart of my characters and AUs is okay, and always appreciated! Interests

I am currently mainly into Pizza Tower, and the OCs I have created for it, so that is mostly what you will see at the moment! - I have currently two AUs I am focused on, mainly the one where it's just my interpretation of the game (no name for this one yet), and then my secondary called 'Cheeseshop AU', with Brick the Rat as the protag, and species are swapped! (So Brick is human, Peppino and Gustavo are rats etc)

I also have a lot of original stories, characters and concepts, and will post those too! I tend to jump from idea to idea and back again, so do not mind if I am talking about one genre in one post, and then it completely changes the next post. (Although most are just slice-o-life with fantasy elements)

Other interests are: FNAF (previous hyperfixation, kinda comes and goes and may have occasional posts here), Bugsnax (also a previous hyperfixation, mainly when the game came out but not so much any more), Pokemon (not a hyperfixation, I just think they're neat), and... That's pretty much it, that I can think of! I don't tend to get into fandoms much, and I just focus on one thing for years haha

Hi, I'm Unma! Sometimes my close friends call me Umma (please don't do this if we aren't close). On other platforms, you may see me go by pUnma instead. It's just a pun on Unma, so you can call me that or Unma as usual, if you'd like.

On this blog I ramble about Undertale, mainly, but other things too! Currently I also talk about Granblue Fantasy and Project Moon games (mainly Limbus at the moment). I also reblog a lot, mainly other people's art, just so you know ahead of time.

Cis-male, go by any pronouns and only cis in the way that I kinda don't care about my gender. Funny to mess around with it though.

I'm Unseen_Reader on AO3 (Unma is my pseud for non-UT works) and write mostly Frans works. If you don't like that ship, that's fine, I write other things too, but don't complain or you'll get blocked. Bit of a warning: I'm agnostic (Christian apostate), with a mostly negative view of Christianity. Here is my persona. This is how I draw myself. To clarify, I do see this character as an extension of myself, and they are very personal to me. Though I know ofc they are not literally me. I like to creature-ify them at times and sometimes will even make alturnate versions of them for fun.. but in the end I still see them as a representation of me. They share my name and are designed after me (but with added features) after all!✨

I'm honestly not too sure of what my sona is meant to be- but I see them as like... A satyr?? but if the goat aspect of said satyr was actually a deer mixed with a unicorn?? Hence the long tail and single "antler"..

Idk lol. Just.. I guess be careful with how you treat this character, because whatever you do with them I will interpret that as something you are doing to me 💀

Anyway!!! I'll also clarify that I don't mind people drawing this character! If you do, I will actually be eternally grateful! Just don't draw them doing anything weird or sexual💀
