Hello hello! :) I’m here for our matchup trade for Black Butler! (I sent the pictures for the Paparazzi end :) )

Starting off I am a neurodivergent, queer (but attracted to masculinity) female. I go by she/they and im an INFP Sagittarius.

Physically, I am a 5’2” but wear platform converse or boots every day of my life. Style wise, im definitely alternative. However, Im also a fan of the baggy jeans, tight top, kinda side of grunge. Im also a sucker for black with pastels, so I suppose my color pallete would fall under “Pastel Goth” or something similar. I actually really love the style called “Morute” which stands for “Morbidly Cute”. I just absolutely adore the creepy-cute combination, and i aspire to look like a creepy doll somedays.

That also would lead into hobbies, as I love dolls! I collect them and will gush over them any time i see one in public i like. Especially going to cons and seeing the little stands with BJD dolls? I go feral-...and broke. My entire room is decorated in pretty dolls, anime figures, manga, and cherry blossom vines. (I really want a cherry blossom tattoo on my back but im terrified of needles-) My other hobbies include writing, skateboarding, singing/making music, and dancing! I have a band with friends right now. I’m training my voice to be a metal singer despite having a feminine voice, so im a bit shy with it right now.

Personality wise, I suppose it tends to fluctuate, but i think what sticks the most is that I'm extremely sweet and loyal. I used to be very shy, and can even be pretty quiet nowadays too. Im definitely introverted but, ive gotten much better with it. Friends would definitely say that im bubbly, always trying to laugh. Definitely witty too because I absolutely love bantering and softly bullying people. Id say im very emotionally intelligent when it comes to other people. Im definitely a realist, and im told im very good with advice and empathizing with people. I feel i understand other emotions more than mine sometimes. Which annoys me- Because I have a habit of not expressing anything negative. I think it might be due to past trauma, but I have a hard time staying angry or upset with people. Its like- once you screw me over, i have no issues getting rid of you. I dont like that i can easily disconnect from people, as I feel it makes me sound like a bad person, but I just feel l like if i know my worth, and someone isnt treating me as they should, I shouldnt keep them in my life. That does go to say though, that I am an all or nothing person with people I care about. If i am your friend, I trust you can come to me with anything and I vice versa no matter what. I always come through and i expect the same.

Another bad habit though would be disappearing. I wouldnt call it ghosting because I always pop back up, but I usually dont respond or see people for weeks or even months, even close friends. Most that are close know that if they need to talk to me, they have to double text or call me. Ill always answer then. I dont mean to, I just for some reason am really consistent with randomly dropping off the face of the earth for everyone but my partner, or person closest. Texts are always paragraphs though! Im not a dry texter, just forget I exist and have to respond :) Not to mention, i have ran away out of state before just for the sake of going and exploring. (Did a lot of Urbex and trespassing- it was fun but i dont think ill ever go to abandon buildings like that again. That doesnt mean ill stop climbing trains though!) I just love road trips and little late night adventures.

Some notes about me… Id say my fears involve needles, the dark (I sleep with a nightlight but love horror-), Clowns, and deep water. I cannot swim and have nearly drowned before so I actually hate going swimming. I dont see the appeal and start to panic if i cant see or touch the bottom. I wouldnt say im scared of spiders though like most. I actually am the person my job calls for to grab spiders and take them outside. If theyre cute, ill just grab them with my hand. Another thing is that I have OCD and PTSD. My OCD isnt the typical stereotype of being clean, Im just very routine with patterns. The person im with has to be okay with frequent alarms I set for different time frames, my strange eating habits (I cant have anything touching, one food at a time, soft foods over crunchy, and i absolutely love bananas but cant eat them unless someone peels them for me while im not looking) I also get very paranoid about certain things, like for example, i get little episodes sometimes where I freak out because I believe Ill inherent my dads schizophrenia and Ill because dissociated with reality, so whoever im with needs to be able to help assure me i wont just lose my mind- That being said, my least favorite love language is touch! I can be touched, but its very easy to overwhelm my due to past trauma. I also flinch very easily without even thinking and it gets annoying when people make fun of it. Because of this as well, im a very silent walker and tend to scare people because i subconsciously make myself as unnoticeable as possible. Im also an insomniac. I will not go to bed until the sun is up, and even then I wake up very easily. My doctor keeps trying to give me medications for it so i can sleep better, but its so ironic because I stop taking them constantly because I hate feeling tired. SO someone who doesnt mind being up a bit late would be appreciated :)

Random facts are: I absolutely adore raccoons and rats, and used to be a rat mom! I’ll spit out little rodent facts like im google. I know morse code. Im an amazing driver. I will get you there fast and safe….fast as in i max out my car frequently and if i get one more traffic misconduct i lose my license. BUT i know how to be safe with taking those risks, if that makes sense? Like i know where and when to speed and when not to- Most people fear getting in the car with me. But other than that, i think that’s it for now! Thank you <3

You being more calm/quiet and Undertakers more energetic and chaotic certainly harmonize. He'd adore your sweetness and bubbly-ness (is that even a word??) and your loyalty would be VERY important to him. While he acts and is mostly carefree, I think deep down he still wary of deep connections with people, as he doesn't really have friends.

When he achieves said connection tho he might not always act like it but he'd be sort of possessive. Wouldn't let you get very close to Sebastian or Ciel out of a fear, that they would use you against him in some way. It takes a while for him to tell you what he is, it takes him a while to trust someone 100% wouldn't talk about how it happened tho.

I think arguments wouldn't happen very often, when they do tho they would happen out of Undertakers disregard for "human customs", ex. relationships with other people, etc. Undertaker doesn't resort to screaming, he wouldn't even comprehend that you're mad or annoyed with him. After a few days of not talking much he'd try and talk, bring you something, dolls, sweets, whatever. Makes you sit down and explain what's bothering you, wouldn't always get it but he'd try. Makes up by gifting you dolls or figurines.

Would get worried the first few times you disappear, always manages to find you tho. Absolutely goes exploring with you, might not say it but part of the reason why, is because he's worried about you.

Teases you about your fear of the dark, always lights a candle for you at night tho. Undertaker has died through drowning, as shown in a manga panel, so he shares your fear of water. It serves as a constant reminder for him, so you both don't see the appeal.

Might sound weird but he's fascinated with your OCD habits, he asks you about them. Once you explained them, he always makes sure that your food is arranged the way you like it and peels your bananas for you. Doesn't mind the alarms you set, can be your personal alarm clock actually.

Undertaker has dealt with a lot throughout his long life, he has his own problems. He will always assure you that you're going to be okay. Another thing, that might seem insensitive but sometimes he'd joke that you'll be "crazy" together.

Undertaker's very touchy by nature, I would say. After noticing you flinch, he'd be unsure if his presence and being a grim reaper still intimidates you in some way, if he decides talking to you about it, Undertaker will resort to gift giving and quality time.

Being a quiet walker doesn't matter with Undertaker, as he senses your presence, he isn't human after all, or easy to startle.

Grim Reapers require both sleep and sustenance, but have you seen Undertaker? That man runs on two hours of sleep maximum, he also definitely wouldn't mind staying up late. Dancing late at night, while nobody is watching, is definitely a reoccurring activity in a relationship with the Undertaker. He can be a bit overbearing at times.

Depending what century you're imagining this in, Undertaker loves when you drive, it's sort of an adrenaline rush for him.

Doing each others makeup, sitting on a coffin or your bed. "You have to be still, for me not to smudge the eyeliner!!", while he tries to tickle or smooch you.

Painting each others nails and making a cute date night out of it, lots of candles around you for the atmosphere. Playful banter, which ends in you two cuddling in a coffin.

Going out to explore the woods, him following closely behind you, suddenly disappearing just to appear in front of you, scaring you in the process, making Undertaker burst out laughing. Holding out a hand to help you climb onto things.

Exploring the city at night, when the people are sleeping and the bustling and usually loud streets of London are completely empty. Even jumping roof to roof. (This reminded me of that one Howl's moving castle scene. 01:47-02:10 in the linked video)

Late at night, while both of you aren't sleeping, Undertakers shop is dark, except for the dozens of candles littered across the room, as a music box starts playing a soft melody. Undertaker coming up behind you and offering you a hand, as you start dancing across his shop, moving through the space together, occasionally stepping on each others feet and giggling.

Wow, 8k?? Congratulations!! 🎉 If you don't mind, I'd appreciate a LOTR and The Hobbit ship ☺️ And possibly a drabble for LOTR with the 'first kiss' prompt if that's okay!

I'd probably prefer a male ship. I'm really short, like 4' 10" and chronically ill with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Autism, Dyspraxia and a bunch of other stuff. I love writing and drawing. I'm a people person but I definitely need my alone time, I can only handle so much social interaction in a day. I love cryptozoology and science too. I really hate possessiveness and I'll need someone who doesn't mind accomodating me. I'm pretty excitable and funny but can have a hard time because of my chronic illnesses. I can infodump about nearly any topic since most of my time is spent researching things that interest me. I get nervous in relationships and am easily flustered too

'First Kiss'

As Legolas spotted you in the distance, a smile spread across his face. His whole journey back, he had been excited to see you. Your relationship had been growing, but before Legolas could truly tell you how he felt, he was sent off by his father.

But now he had returned, and he was more than ready to tell you and show you how he truly felt.

As you sat underneath your favorite tree, reading your favorite book, you heard the sound of soft footsteps approaching.

Looking up, your eyes landed on the smiling face of Legolas. Your heart jolted in your chest as a wide smile appeared on your face.

"Legolas!" You said with excitement as you began to rise.

Quickly approaching you, Legolas did not let you rise entirely before he pulled you into a hug.

You let out a soft laugh as he gripped you in his arms. You hugged him back, excitement filling your body. Pulling away from him a few moments later, you looked up into his eyes.

"I'm so glad you're back"

He smiled adoringly down at you "I'm glad I am returned."

Reaching up, he gently caressed your cheek as he stared at you, you felt your ears burning hot and your heart beating heavier in your chest.

"I cannot tell you how much I've wanted to see your smile since I left. And how much I wish I had not left before I told you truly how I felt."

You were uncertain of what to say. You knew how he felt, as you felt it too. And you wished you had said something yourself before he left, but you were too afriad.

Finally finding your words, you smiled softly. "I know how you feel Legolas."

He smiled as he moved a bit closer to you "Then let me show you."

Slowly leaning down, he cupped your chin in his hand as he pressed a soft and gently kiss to your lips. Your face burned hot, but you felt happiness jolt through you as you returned the kiss.

Mutual affection and love radiated through both of you as you held each other, glad to finally be together again, and fully open to how both of you felt.

The deity sighs, pulling his neck and head even tighter to his body. He visibly hesitates to answer- but the promise of fire if he doesn't is much more threatening with many of his feathers already singed, patches of burnt flesh poking out in empty patches.

"...There are three categories, I suppose, if we're approaching this in such a shallow manner. Affairs of convenience- mutual passing interest, some recurrent- those obligatory to my duty of peacekeeper, and..." He makes that strange sound again, almost like a cough. "There is some overlap between these categories, but it's not as if I was given ample time to organize."

"The first category... That would be the majority of names here. Lord Nefertem, Lord Shezmu, Ladies Anat and Astarte, Lord Sobek, Lord Montu, Lady Neith, Lord Min, Princess Henuttawy, Lady Iris, Lord Apollo, Hermes, Lord Dionysus, Vizier Ptahhotep, Priestess Meratum, Lady Eir of the Nordic pantheon, Heru-Ur, and Lady Hatmehit."

They can be quite humorous when accosting someone else, they're significantly more intelligent than their typical behavior would suggest. I know for certain I have no romantic attraction to either, but my relationships with them are nevertheless important to me. I- I suspect Bast knows of my... Obligations, but she's never mentioned any actions. I can only hope she has kept her observations to herself."

"I absolutely did not intend to seduce Lady Nut, rather assist a dear friend and right a wrong. I- I know I should have declined, and I tried to, but- I couldn't. She had cried far too much already, and she was kept so isolated... I don't dare mention that night to her, or anyone- This is the first time I've spoke of that portion of events since it transpired."

Thoth grumbles, and tucks his head under his good wing. He'd much rather be burned alive for the next few millennia than think about that clusterfuck- which is exactly what he mumbles into his down. He has every reason to despise Set, a laundry list of offenses both personal and business- But since when does logic apply to such things?

LGBTQ Light Novel Review — I'm in Love with the Villainess

A stunningly profound, entertaining, and queer title that eclipses other isekai and Yuri series

There are few titles the general public seems to be as excited about as Inori and Hanagata's I'm in Love with the Villainess, as it has been sitting at or near the top of Amazon's LGBT Manga list for months and Twitter is consistently abuzz with the latest news on this isekai Yuri series. I was somewhat more skeptical, as I have had relatively poor experiences with isekai and fantasy Yuri. Still, my excitement went through the room, and I eagerly boarded the "hype train" upon the cover reveal for the third volume. Yuri families, where two women raise children together, are one of my greatest desires and something I rarely see portrayed in the genre. However, I still had mostly low expectations for the series going into the first volume. I looked forward to some light meandering comedy and typical boring trope-filled isekai shenanigans. However, I'm in Love with the Villainess more than exceeded my expectations. No, even this statement is far too moderate to describe how utterly stunned and blown away I was by Inori's creation. I'm in Love with the Villainess is completely shattering and easily one of the greatest light novels I have ever read. Thus, I have no choice to award a perfect 10/10 score, my first ever for a light novel.

After waking up in the world of her favorite otome game, Revolution, protagonist Rae is ecstatic to be faced to face with Claire Francois, the game's villainous rival. However, Rae never played Revolution for the thrill of romancing any of the three attractive young princes. She was always in love with Claire. She attends the academy and studies magic in the fantasy world alongside Claire, the princes, and various other supporting characters. Using her skills from the modern world and her encyclopedic knowledge of Revolution, Rae manipulates the situation to be close to Claire, becoming her maid, and garnering status and money along the way. As an inevitable conflict looms closer, Rea begins to enact plans to protect herself and Claire, many of which are not fully understood or explained until the finale fantastically reveals the reasons for her actions. There is a natural and steady pace to the narrative that awards readers’ predictions and attention to detail.

I'm in Love with the Villainess has some excellent supporting characters, all of whom have unique personalities, histories, and abilities, some of which are revealed by Rae's exposition and others naturally throughout the novel. However, the stars of the show are the central couple, Rae and Claire. Claire is an elite aristocrat and extremely bratty. She often sneers at commoners and makes her disdain of Rae very clear from early on. On paper, she sounds like the perfect villain and someone all readers would despise. However, Rae's utter devotion and infatuation with Claire is so sincere that we cannot help but be pulled in and adore Claire and all her tantrums. Rae is a delight herself, continually flirting and poking fun at Claire, which gets her verbally berated, much to her masochistic pleasure. However, she is also exceptionally cunning and intelligent, and some of the light novel's greatest joys are listening to her analyze a situation or watching one of her plans fall into place.

“Ah, I’m… Well, it doesn’t matter. I mean, it’s irrelevant to cuteness—because, Miss Claire, you are cute.” “Huh?!” She pulled away. It was perfect—such a pure reaction. “Miss Claire, you hate me, right?” “Of course!” “That’s fine. Please keep teasing me. I love it.”

The beginning of the book does not immediately clue one into its brilliance. Sure, Claire and Rea get some great one-liners as they bully each other, and the scenarios are authentic and fun, but it is nothing shattering. I was feeling pretty relaxed and having a lot of fun with the characters, their relationship, and the various slice-of-life style scenarios they encountered until one section, I remember the exact page, 81, as it stopped me dead in my tracks. I was flabbergasted and briefly frozen before shooting up out of bed, shouting expletives as I ran to my office to immediately record what I had just experienced. It all begins with the line, "Hey, Rae. Are you what they call gay?" What followed was one of the most thoughtful, condensed, informative, and nuanced discussions of gay and queer identity (both terms used in this scene) I have ever seen in Yuri. Everything from representation in media, the perceptions of and prejudices against gay people, and the role gender plays in romance for bisexual and gay people are analyzed. Its commentary is succinct yet so respectful and forthright that it could have only come from genuine experience, thus selling the book and its characters so much more.

"Queer people were still overwhelmingly closeted in this world, which was rife with prejudice and nurtured little understanding. As I noted, the queer people depicted in the story were either the sex fiends Claire imagined or the free-loving sort Lene had in mind. Diversity and acceptance were a long way off.”

Thus, Inori's writing's beauty exposed itself, and the book opened itself up to a delightful cycle. The narrative masterfully integrates isekai slice-of-life hijinks, like running a cross-dressing café or battling a giant slime with nuanced and challenging moments that dissect complicated topics. The latter mainly consists of a growing rift between the aristocracy and common people, mirroring real-world wealth gap issues, but the novel also touch on matters such as unequal prison sentencing and segregation. Every scene helped further the complexity of the characters and their relationships or else built onto the world of Revolution. Speaking of which, I'm in Love with the Villainess has some of the best worldbuilding ever seen in a light novel.

Initially, brief exposition establishes much of the world, which is adequate if not exciting. I will mark up to a casualty of the light novel's serialized nature, as it must present readers its setting immediately. However, Inori does not stop here. Through the narrative, new elements are established, such as a magic system and the kingdom's politics. Rea notes and describes how the world, while clearly based on medieval Europe, has many modern Japanese attributes, as Japanese game developers created it. Her pointing out the intersection of the two is fascinating. Furthermore, A great deal of time is spent establishing characters and organizations all have their own wants, agendas, and methods, many of which are not even directly involved with the story. Instead, they act as a background and help further contextualize others. For example, the Church publicly appears to lean towards supporting the commoners in their efforts for equality but has its own agenda of superseding the nobility. While they play little role in Rea and Claire’s adventure, they are one of numerous factors contributing to the unrest of the lower class. All these additions are interesting, and it never feels like the story or characters suffer for their inclusion, quite the opposite.

“The Bauer Kingdom had started a step behind other countries when it came to magical research. They dominated the surrounding countries in military strength, and this had made them complacent, leading them to underestimate the value of new magic technology until the best researchers had all been enticed to other countries. Even after the king came up with his magic-focused meritocratic policy, Bauer lagged behind.”

I can only make complaints by scraping the very bottom of the barrel. Hanagata's beautiful art is too infrequent to add much to the light novel, and many scenes crying for illustrations are left to the readers' imagination. However, Inori so wonderful writes the story that one hardly cares and can easily picture every moment with delight. Besides, the manga adaption will nullify this issue. Where I cannot complain at all is the spectacular translation by Jenn Yamazaki and Nibedita Sen, one of Seven Seas best (which is high praise considering the competition). Sure, I was slightly disappointed at first to see the adaptation left off honorifics, but the more I thought about the setting, the more sense it made. I am sure people much smarter than I gave the issue much more consideration, and I am happy with their decisions.

I'm in Love with the Villainess left me reeling with how pleasurable and powerful it was. The story and characters are such a joy, and I cannot wait to see Rea and Claire bully each other again in the next volume. Astounding worldbuilding and powerful, thought-provoking politics surround their antics and the high stakes plot. Every moment of their journey will enthrall readers as they squeal with glee at its hilarious set pieces or are shocked by its commentary of society's most significant challenges. Inori has created one of the most delightful, heartfelt, complex, profound, and genuinely queer light novel series ever. If you only read one thing I recommend this year, let it be I'm in Love with the Villainess.

You never considered that you’d ever spend any period of time in Oxenfurt, never mind be wintering there, and while it’s wonderful you cannot help but feel out of place. You’ve never been the sort of person to be wealthy or talented enough for a University of such high esteem; daughter of a seamstress, former barmaid, barely able to hold a tune or paintbrush. But along came Jaskier, wonderful, beautiful Jaskier. With Geralt returning to Kaer Morhen for the winter, your bard had asked you, soft and sweet, to join him at his old place of education. He only needed to ask you once.

The campus is beautiful, warm and comfortable and full of lively, excited youths, so bewitched by their art and school. You understand it, it’s difficult not to be taken in by the beauty of it all, but one thing keeps you weary; the fact that it’s a place of such overwhelming privilege, the likes of which you’ve had next to no interaction with. You’ve always known Jaskier is a man of luxury: his accent, embroidered doublets and silk chemises advertise it in a way that is out of place on the road traveling with Geralt but are common as muck on campus. Everyone here is like him, rich but seemingly playing at slumming as students, as if they too will be traveling bohemian bards rather than what will undoubtedly actually happen, being taken in by whatever court will have them. He’s different in Oxenfurt, too. Not a bad sort of different, but... unusual. Jaskier, your bard, lover and traveling partner, is wonderful, a giddy and excitable fool, who spends much of your time together teasing and goading, is strangely absent. In his place is... someone else. A professor and an adult. It’s hard to believe your bard, a man who sings often of masturbation and hand-jobs with a smug grin, is a professor. A teacher. He’s smart, you’ve always known that, but it’s easy to forget how bloody intelligent he is.

He plays the fool all too well, well enough that it’s what you think of when you consider him. It’s strange to see him acting so maturely, planning lectures and grading compositions, walking about and advising students, talking about writing and singing techniques. They adore him, it’s written across their faces when you see them together, and the adoration and admiration of him is transferred onto you too. They gape and gawk at you, talking quietly and singing lines from songs that Jaskier had written about you. When you walk together around the halls and cobblestone roads, they rush to you both, mouths full of questions about travel and monsters as well as whatever the hell a cleft or bridge are. It’s so strange. You don’t know how you’re to feel about being watched by these aristocratic students, caught somewhere between hero worship and sideshow attraction. Even in tiny taverns and villages, people look at you as just a girl, aided usually by Geralt’s intimidating frame outshining the various knives you have adorning your figure. The only person who normally stares at you is Jaskier, always in this shocked sort of adoration, as if he can never quite believe that you are real and beside him. It’s sweet and never invasive, always looking but never prying.

You purr softly at the thought of Jaskier, in this delicate daze of being half-asleep, this is perfection, a comfortable, engulfing warmth and softness, resting on top of soft fur with the love of your life in bed beside you. But something isn’t quite right. It’s like looking at another side of a coin or hearing a song and finally paying attention to what the lyrics mean; it’s the same but not, and you worry that maybe you’ve spent your entire relationship with the man before you underestimating him. Leaning back against the door, you take him in as best you can and try to dedicate this image of him to memory. Severus could hardly believe his eyes as he watched a young woman, dressed in a scarlet gown along with a white apron, enter the Great Hall. “Everyone please welcome Miss Y/N L/N, who has returned to Hogwarts to assist Madam Pomfrey!” Dumbledore announced, and Severus applauded along with the rest of the students and staff. You’d graduated two years ago, planning to pursue a healing career, and seeing you here, a smile on your face, Severus knew you’d succeeded. You’d been the top student in every one of your classes, always standing out, but that wasn’t the only reason Severus noticed you.

Since your 6th year, Severus had been in love with you. He’d never acted on his feelings for you, never mentioned them to a soul, but his heart belonged to you, even if you’d never know. When you graduated, he thought he’d seen the last of you, but here you were, just as beautiful, if not more so, than the day he’d watched you sail back across the lake. The Welcome Feast began, but Severus’ gaze and mind was fixed on you, daydreams of you being his flooding his thoughts. He was so caught up in his head that Severus didn’t notice you were staring right back at him.

“Everyone please welcome Miss Y/N L/N, who has returned to Hogwarts to assist Madam Pomfrey!” You beamed at the applause from the students and staff, overjoyed to be back in the castle you called home for 7 years. Your eyes swept over the expanse of the Great Hall, locking on the obsidian ones of Severus Snape. Of course, you knew he would be here, but seeing him seated a few seats away from you stole the breath from your lungs. Since your 4th year, you’d been in love with the man.

At first, you were attracted to his looks, but as you grew and began taking more advanced classes, in which Severus wasn’t as cold or cruel, you were attracted to his personality. And when you graduated, you were head over heels in love with the man. You never cared that most people called him a “greasy git”, you knew that under the cold shell was a kind man, broken as he may be. Madam Pomfrey had written to you a month ago asking you to return to the castle to work alongside her, and you’d accepted at once. Severus hadn’t been one of the factors that drew you back to Hogwarts, but now that you were here, only feet from the man in question, you realized that your feelings for him hadn’t faded one bit.

The feast went on around you, but your thoughts were entirely of Severus. You stole glances at him throughout the meal, and to your delight, you saw that each time you looked over at him, he was looking right back. When the feast drew to a close, Madam Pomfrey escorted you up to the hospital wing and showed you to your rooms. “I hope you find them up to your liking,” she said, lighting a few candles. “If you need anything, Seeley, my house elf, would be happy to help you. Now, I’ll be up to bed, and I suggest you do the same. Students will be flooding the Wing tomorrow with injuries.” You nodded, and the matron opened the door. “Y/N,” she said, pausing. “I’m so happy to have you here.” “Thank you, Poppy,” you responded. “I’m so happy to be here.”

The next morning, you dressed and headed down to breakfast, eager to start your first day as the matron’s assistant. Through breakfast, Severus would glance at you, smiling softly or waving, and your heart fluttered in your chest. Of course, he was likely just being cordial, but one could dream. A few hours later, you were stocking the bedside cabinets in the hospital wing when the sound of footsteps disturbed your peaceful chore. You stood upright, setting the supplies, bandages at the moment, on a near bed. Severus had entered, a large box under one arm.

“Professor Snape,” you greeted, moving closer to him. “What can I do for you?” He laughed softly, setting the box down on the bed at his side. “Please, call me Severus. We are coworkers now.” For some reason, the notion thrilled you, and unbeknownst to you, it did the same to Severus. “Alright, Severus, what can I do for you?” “I have the potions Madam Pomfrey requested I make. I thought I’d bring them up.” You nodded, stepping forward and glancing in the box. It was the usual stock: Pepper-Up, Skele-Gro, Essence of Dittany, diluted Bubotuber Pus, and the like.

“Thank you,” you said, a smile on your face. “Madam Pomfrey’s actually down at the lake. A third year decided to see if she could find the Giant Squid. The Giant Squid didn’t like that very much.” Severus laughed aloud, and the sound warmed your heart. “I know, that’s why I brought these up now. I was hoping I’d get to talk to you.” You felt yourself flush, and your heart sped up. “A-about what?” Severus smirked, though inside, his stomach was rolling with nerves and anxiety. He took a few deep breaths, willing himself not to lose his nerve.

“Y/N, I cannot tell you how happy I am to see you back in the castle,” he began, trying not to come on so strong. “I know you’re going to do some incredible work here.” You blushed even deeper, biting your lip as you attempted to suppress a smile. “Thank you, Severus. I did learn from the best, after all.” “Oh, I’m sure you had any number of amazing teachers while you were abroad.” You couldn’t fight the smile anymore, and your lips crooked upwards. “None as skilled or knowledgeable as you.” Severus truly couldn’t tell if you were flirting with him, or just being polite, but he pressed on before he lost his nerve.

“You flatter me, Y/N, truly. But that isn’t the only reason I’m glad you’re here.” You looked up at him, eyes wide. “It isn’t?” He shook his head, stepping a bit closer to you. “No,it isn’t. Y/N, I have been in love with you since you were 16.” Your mouth fell open, and Severus continued. “You are and always will be the most intelligent, kindest, most beautiful woman I;ve ever had the privilege to know in my lifetime. Y/N, I have never felt this way about any other person, and the last thing I want to seem like is like I’m rushing things, but I-”

“I love you too,” you blurted, cutting him off. You were breathless, wanting more than anything in this moment to fling yourself into Severus’ arms. “You...you do?” You nodded, stepping closer, leaving a gap of only 6 inches between the two of you. “I do, Severus. I have since my 4th year.” Severus exhaled, breath lightly fanning over your face. “I’ve always thought you were handsome, and I've always known you have the potential to be a tender, kind, loving man. You just need the right person to love.” To your amazement and joy, Severus nodded.

“Y/N, you have no idea how much I adore you. Even though I haven’t yet had the chance to show you, I love you more than there are words to tell you.” You stepped closer yet, placing your hands on Severus’ shoulders. “Then show me, Severus.” Without hesitating, without thinking, he kissed you, arms wrapping around your back, pulling you tight against him, lips soft and warm against yours. You looped your arms around his neck, letting him lead the kiss, getting lost in the feel of him.

You weren’t sure how long the kiss lasted, but when Severus pulled away, it was too soon for your liking. “Will you be mine, Y/N?” he asked, eyes soft and pleading. “I will love you more than anything in this world, I’ll give you anything you could want, I-” “Yes, Severus, I’ll be yours. And all I want is you. Well, that, and maybe dinner with you a few times a week.” He eagerly nodded, kissing your cheek. “Anything, my love, anything.” He pulled you to him, holding you close, swaying slightly. Your heart was bursting with love for this man, overflowing with joy. After 6 years, you had the man you loved, and he had you.

The Hobbit: I ship you with THORIN OAKENSHIELD

Thorin is a King, and, though many would not think it at first sight, a gentle soul.

Sure, he is a warrior, and a legendary one at that, but he is also creative. He is a craftsman, a musician, someone who values food and cheer and song and family above all else. Someone who loves you with all of himself once you’ve finally captured his heart.

Thorin has travelled a lot in his lifetime, and especially now as a king I can imagine he has an incredible knowledge about all kinds of cultures, history, mythology, etc. Not to mention he has access to the royal library night and day, which he extends to you even before you start courting, as a means to capture your heart.

I can imagine that after the quest to reclaim Erebor was accomplished you stayed with the company in the lonely mountain to become a professor (probably teaching young pebbles the many languages of middle earth).

One of Thorin’s favorite places to be is the room that you two share. It’s filled with all kinds of trinkets you’ve collected over the years (including Thorin’s many courting gifts), mountain high piles of books, note- and sketchbooks, letters and many other things. It’s a good kind of cluttered, and it fills Thorin with a fond feeling whenever he takes it all in, as it reminds him of you and all your lovable quirks.

Even before you and Thorin married, even before you started courting, Thorin saw you as a queen. Your intelligence, your creative and ambitious nature, the way how everything you said sounded like it came straight out of a novel, and how when you called out his name it sounded like poetry had him immediately wrapped around your finger.

Once you marry Thorin you become queen under the mountain, meaning you’ll have to attend all kinds of social gatherings, meetings and grand feests. Don’t worry though, Thorin will be there to hold your hand and shield you from the overwhelming attention, and there’s no way in hell he will let anyone talk over you. Thorin values the things you say, and he thinks it’s important for others to listen as well.

One time you off-handedly mentioned to him you’re attracted to beards, and he wore this really giddy and proud smile for the rest of the day (and you noticed he since started to put just a little bit extra care in his facial hair in the morning).

As you most likely will have noticed when watching the movies, Thorin is not exactly good with words. It’s why he’s so happy you write him those lovely letters with all the reasons why you love him, and he does the same for you. He enjoys having you in his arms at night as he reads to you out loud his love letters with all the reasons why he adores you, and how the Arkenstone isn’t even half as much in worth as you.

Lord of the Rings: ARAGORN

Gift giving between Aragorn and you changes over time. While the two of you are still rangers, his gifts tend to be more simple and practical, like well-crafted daggers, a warm scarf for when winter comes, a new satchel for your maps and other items. Once Aragorn becomes king - and therefore has more money and no longer travels everyday - his gifts become more extravagant and fancy, like a new waistcoat, a beautiful dress, beautifully detailed fountain pens, etc.

Story-telling is a must. Every night when the two of you have made a fire and set up your camp, you tell each other stories. You tell him about folklore and mythology and all your favorite stories, while he tells you about his travels around Middle-Earth, the people he met and what it was like to grow up in Rivendell.

Aragorn confides in you with everything he does. Your advice and kind words have gotten him through many hardships in his life, and he holds your opinion in high regard. It’s you he goes to when he worries about the quest and the One ring, it’s you he goes to when he fears he will never be the king Middle-Earth needs, and you soothe his mind every time.

Aragorn is a ranger so does not carry a lot of unpractical trinkets with him, but he treasures everything you give him and keeps all your gifts in a special bag. He will often craft you tiny statues while travelling. When the two of you come across a town he will often get you a pretty bracelet or a beautiful dagger.

When the two of you cuddle he likes to trace your moles and play with the lighter patches of your hair. He likes having you near him and he pays attention to all the small details that make you you.

He carries a few of your love letters bound with a small robe with him at all times, wherever he goes. He misses you immensely when the two of you are apart, and the letters bring him comfort. It warms his heart every time he reads them and he has tried many a time to write love letters for you as well, though he always feels like the words he writes cannot even begin to convey the love he feels for you.

Once he becomes king and you his queen he likes to take you shopping for clothing that matches your aesthetic, often asking the tailors to make something specifically for you. He wants you to feel both beautiful and comfortable, and he smiles whenever you try to pick out his outfit so you can match aesthetic.

Jeonghan’s Ideal Type - Natal Chart Reading

For ideal types, I’m not going to be doing specific placements of their ideal partner. Instead, I’m gonna be listing personality traits I think would mesh well with them, as well as focus on their needs and the kind of person who could meet them. what this reading cannot account for is the compromising the members would do on their end for their s/o. so just keep in mind this is only half of the whole picture!

someone charming thanks to that libra sun, mercury & venus.

someone naturally very romantic who is willing to do all of those cute, fluffy, traditional relationship things.

he’s gonna want the whole ten yards of cute couple things like couple outfits, phone backgrounds, nicknames, etc. etc. thanks to his libra placements loving all the cute and adorable honeymoon fluff.

it may embarrass his aqua moon if someone were to call him out on this, but his libra placements will love the romantic side of this, and his scorpio mars would love the physical representations of his partner’s commitment.

that libra also makes him a very simple and romantic guy.

he really thrives in relationships that are very uncomplicated, balanced, and loving.

he’s a natural romantic and wants someone he can enjoy the more quiet and domestic aspects of life with.

and so i don’t think he’d mesh well with someone who was overly ambitious to the point they couldn’t be in the moment

I think he would like a person like him. Quiet, collected, wise and intelligent, with whom he can have a deep conversation, and basically have a motherly/fatherly love. Not to push him away when he wants affection and doesn't judge him like the others do. He would like them to give him proper "signs" and not be confusing like "most of the people" as they say. And a good hygiene and he would be extremely happy if someone listens to him venting.

I think that he likes people that can look more intimidating. Someone who can protect him until he comes of age and refines his skills, someone who will help him refine himself and not laugh at him. Good hygiene too and someone who has a nice scent and is always there to make him laugh after a stressful day. He says he would use his lover as a pillow all the time and warm himself.

She is more into someone who can show they are independent and learn easily. She never liked people that whine about everything and are capricious, without any independence but relying on someone else to sustain or save them, all the time. taurus venus conjunct taurus mars: you are very serious when it comes to love. you seek intense, long-lasting relationships, filled with both romance and passion. ironically, you tend to attract people that are the opposite, who are only looking for fun and casual romance. that could afflict your self-worth significantly, as you feel unlucky in love. this is also another placement that indicates that one of your parents, probably your father, or still anyone of the opposite sex probably influenced your approach to romance and sex. there are different scenarios I have in mind, but I'll talk about it later in the family life section.

☄️ mars in taurus, 11° / 2nd decan ruled by venus and mercury

with taurus mars, you may actually despise working too much. you love challenging your mind, but you're kind of lazy. you'd rather stimulate yourself through your hobbies and interests rather than using school / work, which are quite stressful for you. you need to find something material and concrete to motivate you and make you assertive. you could study just because you need a good grade, or maybe work just to get paid. you don't really do it with interest, as you care more about nurturing your passions than responsibilities. you're not really into conflicts; you'd rather be peaceful with everyone, as you find it a waste time to argue with someone. most taurus mars tend to be quite passive, yet I don't think it's your case. I imagine that with your heavy sagittarius energy, and also mars opposing uranus, you've got a hot temper. you may try to avoid conflicts, but once someone gets on your nerves it's over for them. you're very unpredictable from this point of view, it's hard to decipher you. you may be more verbally aggressive than physically, though.

it starts with the PSLs, as so many things do. (do they???? idk i’ve only had like 2 psls in my life) PSLs turn into rans and bitty having weekly scheduled ‘get coffee and talk about the absolutely obscene lifestyle choices of the rest of our team,’ featuring holster and jack’s wardrobes, the green couch, and shitty’s inability to chew without talking at the same time, among other things

and THEN ‘coffee and bitch’ sessions turn into 'coffee and talk about whatever u feel’ sessions and eventually it just becomes a Thing. saturday mornings are for ransom and bitty. there’s still a lot of 'coffee and bitch’ happening, because it’s not like holster’s adidas slides and socks combo just went away, but they realize it’s not just expensive lattes and a half decent sense of fashion and hygiene that unites them.

they deal with academic pressure in such different ways that it’s almost impossible to notice the similarities until they start talking more and more and realize they both feel that pressure (ransom because everything he turns in has to be perfect, bitty because he has a ridiculously hard time concentrating on things that don’t interest him, like for instance many of his classes), it’s just that ransom has nervous breakdowns that feature a lot of crying under the table and bitty bakes things as therapy until he’s forgotten all about whatever he needed to do.

so what happens when eric bittle (unofficially voted cutest member of smh 80 times) and justin oluransi (the most beautiful man at samwell) hang out a lot?

well, the first thing that happens is that people stare at them a lot as they walk around but ransom genuinely doesn’t notice because this happens to him all the time it’s never *not* happened and bitty notices but he figures it’s just because Ransom. u know.

ransom also finds bitty’s vlog, watches like 8 videos immediately (holster: dude are u ok), and barrels into the kitchen with his laptop in hand like BITTY CAN WE MAKE THIS

and bitty’s like oh sure! and ransom’s like. no. i mean can WE make this. i want to learn to make it and bitty’s like FUCK yeah

over the course of learning to make this dish ransom successfully wheedles bitty into letting him be on his vlog, bitty’s subscribers are Shook at this beautiful man just suddenly appearing when bitty has literally never had a guest before. he and ransom struggle to call each other by their first names the entire time and it’s fun and silly and they DO actually get a decent pie in the oven so it’s a success ('teaching my teammate to bake a _____’ sorry i didn’t think of a recipe lol. fill in whatever u want)

and then the comments on that video blow up, mostly with comments about ransom, some are just about how beautiful he is, some are like eric…. >.> why is this man on your channel when nobody else has ever been. eric do you have a boyfriend and where did you find him

bitty reads all these comments and does Not mention them to ransom but he’s mildly flattered that these people just assumed he was dating rans. because it’s hard to stand next to ransom and still feel attractive oops

BUT he also gets a bunch of new subscribers, which is why he asks ransom if he wants to be on the vlog again a few weeks later and ransom is like oh HELL yes

but it’s too late. bitty’s read all the comments asking if they’re dating. he never thought about ransom in that context before but he’s read all the comments now and he can’t stop thinking about what it would be like to date him. oops

they do the second video, and bitty firmly tells himself that they’re just friends and he’s just overthinking all of those comments, but also ransom smiling directly at someone is a force to be reckoned with and bitty literally cannot stop himself from smiling back (it’s a good thing they’re the only ones in the kitchen because anyone else would probably explode from observing it. bitty smiling is much more powerful than he knows)

okay and like. if bitty thought the comments on the first video were a lot. the sECOND video with justin oluransi?? it blows up. particularly because of one part where bitty catches ransom stealing a strawberry and just gasps and goes “justin” and people lose their minds over it. eric is so appalled. justin grins in a way that is only half apologetic and immediately reaches for another one and eric literally almost yeets the pie down the counter away from him. people set it to music on tiktok (i know tiktok wasn’t a thing while they were in college let me h a v e this)

and let it be known, ransom is also reading the comments on these videos, and he sees all the ones asking if he’s bitty’s boyfriend and he’s like haha wait what and tHEn he goes back and rewatches the videos he’s been in and like?? okay he can see why they think that. bitty puts his hands over ransom’s a lot and ransom slings an arm around bitty’s shoulders a lot but that’s just normal for smh??????? right??????? RIGHT??????????

too late. they’re both overanalyzing every single interaction now

(holster: bro did you see this tiktok of you and— ransom: and bitty losing five years off his life expectancy? yeah holster: nono this one’s set to don’t rain on my parade/the sound of silence/et cetera you have to watch it)

ransom still isn’t in most of bitty’s videos because honestly most of his stuff goes way over ransom’s level of baking knowledge. but he still watches them and it’s kind of nice to watch vlogs where bitty is so obviously in his element? the way he talks to the camera is so friendly and charming and the way he bakes is so efficient and professional. and because he’s a masochist he reads the comments on those ones too and finds a lot where people are asking where justin is. but mostly he’s focused on bitty and how obvious it is that this is bitty’s THING. he just exudes confidence and happiness and it’s kind of hypnotizing honestly

(he also goes back to bitty’s earliest vlogs and is like holy shit BABY BITTY. SO SMALL. and bitty in those videos is still charming but a little less calm and collected— the editing is a little less smooth, and he can’t quite stop himself from adding editorial comments about his aunt’s and his mother’s different techniques. it’s kind of adorable. and like, bitty is still adorable— wait what just crossed ransom’s brain???)

because bitty IS adorable, just a little more put together now. he still gets more excited by discussing types of flour than anyone else ransom has ever met, and he still bops along to whatever song is stuck in his head while he bakes, and when ransom sees bitty after bingeing roughly half of his videos and feels something in his chest lighten, he figures that’s probably going to be his new normal.

and people in the comments clamor for more videos with ransom, and ransom sees these comments, and bitty does too, and ransom seeing these comments is why he pokes his head into the kitchen when he knows bitty is filming, silently waves at the camera, and then leaves again before bitty’s even noticed that he’s there. it makes it into the final cut of the video and the comments section goes wild.

ransom and bitty still hang out plenty outside of doing vlogs together— bitty eventually gets a few dollars in ad revenue from the first video ransom was in and insists that they go on a celebratory unscheduled annie’s trip. (annie’s date energy intensifies)

and while they’re at annie’s/hanging out around campus/bitty has let ransom drag him to the library for some reason bitty can’t help but wonder what it would be like if he was actually dating ransom. he can’t deny that he thinks about ransom in that way now— it’s hard NOT to honestly?? like ransom has been objectively beautiful since the first day bitty met him (and before that, but y'know, not as relevant to bitty’s life) and maybe it’s just his imagination but he thinks that ever since they’ve started making these videos ransom’s smiles have lingered just a little longer and there are more of them, too. and the vlogs have also shown bitty a side of ransom that he doesn’t see a lot, because nobody sees it a lot— ransom trying something he isn’t already good at. throwing himself into it with enthusiasm, actually, and that NEVER happens. ransom is not great at handling failure? but bitty gets to see him cut loose and relax and laugh at his mistakes and he kind of loves it and loves this version of ransom he hasn’t seen before

and ransom, for his part, has been steadily falling for the sheer force of bitty’s charisma when he’s doing something he loves, ever since he first found bitty’s vlog. and as he looks closer he realizes it’s not just the vlog— bitty has always had these depths to him, he just kind of lets them out when he’s baking? and ransom feels kind of privileged to be able to see that side of him so regularly

(also i’m just saying that ransom is very into intelligence and watching bitty fire off answers without even blinking to obscure baking questions where ransom only understands about 30% of the words is a turn on)

but ransom’s become a fan favorite on bitty’s vlog, and he keeps making recurring appearances and even improves a little at baking (which bitty always comments on when he notices an improvement— it’s half chirpy and half genuine pride), and people in the comments BEG them to do a q&a for like. a couple of months. before bitty is like uhhh if i want to make money off of this channel i gotta give the people what they want

so he makes a normal vlog but at the end ransom pops in and they’re like hey we’re gonna do a q&a for our next video where eric answers baking questions and justin is also there since y'all really want him there for some reason??? (but bitty says it nicer and less confused than that)

bitty immediately realizes why ppl want ransom to be in the q&a so bad when about 25% of the comments are about baking and the rest of them are about bitty and ransom. roughly three-quarters of THOSE fully assume they’re dating and the rest of them are just asking if they’re dating.

so bitty is like um ransom?? we should probably address this in our q&a?? everyone really wants to know if we’re dating??
