Thanks so so much from @verba-writing for the tag! I had such a fun time reading your answers too and I'm very excited for paranormal romance 😍

I feel like I wanna flag that a lot of my answers are very anime/gaming-sphere oriented and I hope I'm not totally alienating my mutuals by revealing just HOW MUCH I'm not a book person lololol But this is with what we're working:

1. What was the first part of your wip that you created?

The very first thing I made was the high premise: It was synthesized from the Overly Sarcastic Productions question "What if all the Kings Under the Mountain came back...?" and then I added the context "...in a Nuclear Crisis to discuss piece?" And in my head, it was this HBO-style modern fantasy Game of Thrones meets West Wing type deal. But then... I didn't want to write the modern piece. (The modern piece should be written by people in countries from all over Europe about what it means to be a hero in various cultures.)

So I set it in 1800s fantasy world instead!

2. If your story was a TV show, what would the theme song/intro be?

The first arc would be Dance in the Game by Zaq

The second arc would be Lacrimosa by Kalafina

The Gods' Arc would be Paper Boquet by Mili

3. Who are your favourite characters you've made? Why?

Is it to cliché to be like "my current self-insert protagonist is my favorite character I've ever made"? Her and my antagonist are just THE BEST and I love them.

4. What other pieces of media do you think would share a fan base for your story?

Mmm, I think Untitled Yssaia Game's story would appeal to queer Game of Thrones fans who could FEEL the straightness in GoT, especially if they also like anime. I would hope I could get general anime fans as well as Arcane and Genshin Impact fans, but I feel like those are too mainstream and Yssaia is not. Realistically, I think I'm gonna get the Wadanohara people and the Ib people and, if I get really lucky, the To the Moon people.

5. What has been your biggest struggle with your wip?

Marketing lol -- explaining what it is to people in a way that they realize they want it.

6. Are there any animals in your story? Talk about them!

7. How do your characters get around? (ex: trains, horses, cars, dragons, etc.)

They walk or ride Rumateurs (which are alpaca-like beings with ossicones) or take ships or airships or trains. I don't like writing about travel that much though so it is a background element.

8. What part of your wip are you working on rn?

I am pre-editing the first arc for my alpha readers and the third arc has another 50k to 100k words to draft. We're at like 250k words total right now and it is so unwieldy 😭😭😭

9. What aspects (tropes, maybe?) of your wip do you think will draw people in?

Oh, I have a convenient graphic for this. Hang on...

10. What are your hopes for your wip?

I was just diatribing about this earlier but the DREAM is to turn it into an RPGmaker adventure game and have it go viral and make a million bucks off it. I'd love to be the next Undertale but it'll never happen because I am not positioned to be the next Undertale, you know?

I... don't really have much to say other than.... I guess this is over? The battle, the arc... basically everything?

I'm... glad that it is, since it was really slow from all of the breaks, but at the same time it's... a little sad, or, actually, just... nothing

I think it's time to... reflect on... whatever happened in this arc or just in general, so... a personal story tie ig

I've been following mha for almost 5 years since I first watched and read it as my first "real" anime and have been following stuff ever since ch 240-241 came out and I caught up with manga, so it was pretty obvious what characters were the most interesting ones

Ever since the volumes became available to buy in 2019 I've been collecting them all up to the very recent ones and it was fun to do even if calculating how to buy them was a challenge for 'I just graduated high school' kind of person. But it was worth it every time with how LoV appeared basically in every single volume since they used 2-in-1 way of publishing so since LoV appears ever so briefly sometimes every 2 volumes it was a win-win situation

I took a break from buying them last year after the exams and stuff and after chapters of Toga's death came out I just took a break from mha in general, focusing more on other stuff like hsr, genshin or just my life while helping with stuff

I still followed the spoilers every week they came out just to see how Horikoshi wants to end the LoV story or at least how would Izuku fight Tomura in the end

And... it's the last chapter of that. After 2 years since the Final arc started and a year since Tomura actually started fighting Izuku inst

It feels right in a way, even if I'm a bit sad how... this is it? AFO just dropped info in ch 419 for it to be irrelevant in the end just for AFO to have control for 4 chapters and Tomura yelling to say that he's still alive in there

It was odd to actually read the spoilers one by one this time since I sometimes wake up too late so I just go through them quickly and that's it

I wondered halfway into the chapter that Tomura would just die soon but I didn't expect it to happen this chapter even more so at the end of it

It's... really is over now?

Defeating LoV was literally just finding a way for them to self-destruct instead of making Class 1-A be the ones who kill them showing that they're still good in the end. It's not like I'm complaining - it's the way I wanted them to be defeated because them staying alive in the end felt unfair, especially when fans were the ones who wanted it. Just leaving them in Tartarus for a way to say that Izuku can't save villains or changing the story so the LoV is left alone is not the way this manga would deal with it, I thought

And I was right in a way, even if it took Toga's monologue to actually be more sure that this is where it's going

It felt too much like how Twice's death was done - without any regret from him

Maybe it made me a bit... off from how other people wanted it to end with heroes "getting what they deserve" or something, but it would've stopped being MHA after something like that happened, especially in a final arc when all of the LoV (except maybe Compress who is not on the battlefield) is literally wearing death signs with Dabi being the most loud one with it - and we still haven't seen him have this "alright, goodbye" moment like Twice, Toga and Tomura now had

And I don't believe that Dabi will survive this arc - he's literally too far gone with his body less alive than before and with him living only to be angry at Endeavor I guess it's a matter of time we get a goodbye from him too

With how this chapter handled it it seems that Spinner might survive this arc after all, but again - it makes it all the more sad since Horikoshi did remind us that Tomura befriended Spinner, in a way making it... a bit sad that it means that Tomura didn't expect others to make it or at least since they were more focused on their own goals Spinner was caring more for Tomura's goal than for himself.

Which is... even more sad considering that Tomura literally tells Izuku to say that he was destroying until the end instead of telling how Tomura lost everything and couldn't do anything anymore even before dying from basically decaying from the quirk that AFO gave him

And that's... Not dissapointing, no. It just makes me sad that his arc ended like that after all those chapters ever since he debuted 10 years ago.

Is you want it to be correct, since Horikoshi based Tomura off his oneshot about Tenko - it's been 17 years since the concept of his character first gained form and only now he's gone

You can probably tell that I didn't take it well even if I wanted this ending to be this way not the "everyone survives way", but it still hurts to see the character that clicked ever since first watching and reading MHA and the character who is basically responsible for me even trying to check first the anime then wiki and then manga just... dying like that

Granted Kurogiri was the one who showed up in the end and I'm just glad for this because ever since ch 419 came out and even before that I just hoped for it to matter in some way and it did

I remember reading some fics that dealt with this arc in a way that was satisfying for me, but I still crried a lot and I still am crying now from thinking that Horikoshi did in fact give LoV a break instead of leaving them in jail.

I do need a break tho. Not in a "I leave and no more sketches or anything from me", no

I need a break from this manga, thankfully next volume isn't close so I'm free to not buy it right after that, especially since it's Toga's volume and I'm not ready to read it again but this time as "read every volume" way

I also can't leave Ultra Impact since I suddenly became a leader for a club I was in alone after everyone left, it's now full with 30 people appearing from s7 starting ig, but it gave me some responsibility to support the new players who decided that a weird club which name I can't even change from what last leader called it, so I might continue playing just to, at least, have all or the LoV characters fully leveled up just for fun

But in a way a need a break from Tomura. I had one or two when it was becoming unberable with how manga was going and with how things are... yeah

I have some sketches ideas but other than that... it's a bit hard to touch something LoV related right now.

I also don't think that doing something like this again is a way I want to cope with what happened - it happened and I already have two different posts about both how depressing and hopeful ch 419 is, and in the end both were true.

Nothing changed what happened in ch 419, Tomura just decided to destroy AFO when the plot wanted with Izuku and OFA together which is definetely something that people made theories of

He didn't get time to get at least something before he's gone and whatever happened with Nana was happened off-screen so we might as well see it as Tomura dying with his life never meaning anything, never actually having any purpose and only by helping to destroy AFO did he do at least something that helped others and was his own choice, but was it? Did he ever have a choice at all?

As it is now and will be for the end for MHA Tenko Shimura or Tomura Shigaraki never really had a choice in anything he did, not in a "I didn't have a choice!!!" dramatic way of how Nana Shimura left Kotaro. No. He didn't have any choices to choose from to begin with.

But with how Kurogiri still wanted to protect Tomura and reminded him of his friends at least it's not just the first part of the post that was right, in the end last words that Tomura said were connected to LoV and what he wanted to do for them, not that AFO was to blame for everything which is true still, but that LoV, even as broken as it is, is still a priority in Tomura's head after all this time of having AFO's quirk twist his mind and anything Tomura said outside of that headspace should've been carefully checked since it could've been AFO who's talking

It's not the ending for Tomura that people were hoping he'll get nor is it something that everyone will agree on, I can feel people arguing from here even if I didn't check Twitter or tags here on Tumblr to be sure. I don't need to.

So... those are my thoughts, a bit emotional in some places a bit chaotic in other, since my head is a mess right now and this was a way to say "this is it... are you happy?" to myself and answering it.

And the answer is no. I'm not happy. This arc, Tomura's personal arc and the way Izuku "helped" Tomura is still some of the worst things, even if I'm glad that this is over and I'm not obligated by myself to wait every week nervous that Tomura would suffer, and he did suffer, a lot.

From how his only way of getting his memory back was to suffer again to the fact that he had to suffer to get rid of his hate that AFO so carefully nurtured for 16 years. It wasn't great, especially since I joined after MVA was over and nothing after that was good to LoV getting worse every chapter from Twice dying and Toga learning that she'll probably die too, to Tomura never actually meeting LoV again as himself after he got AFO's quirk basically making him oblivious to the fact that Dabi is Toya or that Spinner followed what AFO wanted just to be useful, that Toga gave away her blood to save Ochako or that Dabi burned himself to death probably and Mr. Compress compressing parts of his own body. And the only person he saw before talking to Izuku was Kurogiri who was literally melting away at that very moment.

It's... a bit unfair.

Yes, villains lose at the end since we're reading a manga even if the manga itself isn't sure if it wants to go "no this is REAL" or go the way every shonen goes with the main character getting what they want. LoV lost at the end just because the manga needed them to lose, even if the way it was shown wasn't disrespectful to their character arcs, all of them making sense in the end.

It's still unfair that their only choice was to die and in a way bring everyone with them if they can, it was the way Dabi almost did it, it was the way both Toga and Tomura did, only for their respective Heroes - Shouto (and Todoroki family as whole), Ochako and Izuku being saved from dying from something that would've worked ONLY there and then. While the villains are not in the My Villain Academia version of manga anymore, so they don't have a way to survive anything like they did in MVA. For Toga, Twice and Tomura it was the only way to survive, if they weren't the main characters of that arc they would've died.

So, in the end it's miracle that we even had that arc in the first place with how Horikoshi wasn't planning for the villains to become the sympathetic characters for the fans - they were supposed to be just scary, and it's clear when you read stuff before volume 23 comes with MVA - they were always just evil and scary without any hope for us to get something out of it. You may say that the chapter with Toga helping Twice and having Tomura talk to them after the conversation with Overhaul was the first sign of Horikoshi not just showing them as those evil villains, and in a way it's true.

Nothing from before that arc actually helped LoV aside from showing some poins of "Dabi might me Toya" or first points of AFO and Tomura talking face to face. In the end everything important was in Overhaul arc and MVA tightly connected to each other.

I'm glad that for the 5 years of my life I've been analysing LoV and took my time getting every volume, I'll still hold them dearly. But aside from couple of chapters at the end showing us what happened to others... it's really the end of it.

With how long this post is I don't expect for people to read everything, since it was mostly just me talking about the new chapter for an hour and a half, sharing my thoughts, feelings and... whatever else there might be.

Because it was important thing in my life for a long enough time that I would miss it.

I can talk for hours more and just loop around this topic, but this is long enough post and I'm tired, but thanks for reading

That's such a hard question to answer because there are so many characters I love. But right now my top 10 would be (in no permanent order bcs I'm indecisive like that, this is literally just in the order that I thought of them)

1. Nakahara Chuuya (Bungo Stray Dogs) - I have never loved a character the way I love this man. I'm not sure how exactly I started liking him or why but he's been my number one favourite for a long time.

2. Jesper Fayhey (Six of Crows/Shadow and Bone) - I recently read the duology and then watched the show. After the books I liked him but after the show, I was obsessed. I really like his vibe and just his whole flirtatious act. I love watching him start to understand himself better through his character arc.

3. Wylan Van Eck (Six of Crows/Shadow and Bone) - I absolutely loved his POVs in the second book. I really related to him and just loved the depth of his backstory and just love him as a character.

4. Beidou (Genshin Impact ) - Pirate mommy. That's all I have. I just love her.

5. Shinya Hiragi (Owari no Seraph) - This is another one of those I got fixated and never got over it type of faves. I don't even remember why I love him. All I know is I do.

6. Madeline Hatter (Ever After High) - This show was my childhood and I still have an unhealthy attachment to her. I think I just really liked the randomness of her character and just the wonderland vibes.

7. Cherry Blossom (SK8 the Infinity) - I love his hair first and foremost. And I love his role as a mentor to reki and langa.

8. Chigiri Hyoma (Bluelock) - Again, my first obsession was his hair. But I really related to the feeling of being scared of failing at your passion.

9. Mikage Reo (Bluelock) - I love his dynamic with Nagi and his fear of abandonment. I love him so much.

10. Mereoleona Vermillion (Black Clover) - Hot strong woman who can beat my ass <3

yes!! the 2v8 is 2 killers that hunt down 8 survivors, and the generators are increased as well. the only killers that we can use (to my knowledge) are the unlicensed killers — so dbd’s ocs. and xiao + zhongli >:) i love them so much. raiden is OP if you build her right, but im biased bc i love kuni and i dont like what ei did and how raiden acted in the story quest. but!! she’s a cool character!! do you like the build you have on them? ALSO I LOVE TARTAGLIA!!!

After much consideration I have decided to dip my toes into Wuthering Waves!

Surprise is an understatement of my feelings and definitely still an unfit description of my feelings.

I remember seeing gameplay of some closed beta test like what... 2 years ago I think? Thought it looked really cool, like a darker version of genshin... right up my alley.

Of course things changed since then and my laptop broke snd I got a ps5 in the meantime... which meant I might not be able to play. However I also got a phone now that can handle games like genshin and HSR, so I might just try it.

So I did. Was a bit hesitant ofc because I much prefer playing huge games with open world on a big screen, it makes the whole experience more immersive and exciting to me. I only played genshin and hsr on my phone when I wasn't at home and didn't have another option.

I really wanted to try WuWa just to have a more casual approach at a game like this. I previously barely knew anything about the game except for very few small clips of gameplay and some character designs. With HSR I knew a lot about the game already due to it being a hyv project so I basically followed a lot of the process of the game between cbt and official release. I also thoight it would be fun to judt play a bit and blow all the pulls that the game gives out fpr free in the beginning.

SO. I was very surprised by how nice the beginning sequence looked on my phone. I was also immediately hooked with the OST of the starting screen. Very much liked the mysetery beginning - no talking, just these two characters interacting... yes.

When the actual game started I was a bit concerned that the graphics of the character designs might not look the part, because I saw that many people apparently had issues with this. But it was fine, looked very good actually.

BUT THEN. Launch day, right. Apparently WuWa was created on an engine that is usually used to make games for high end devices such as good PCs, so there was some issues expected for mobile right... but when it came to me actually playing and controlling MC... she was T-Posing floating around 😭💀 no walking animation just ... it felt like an awful issue tbh. Restarted the game several times but the issue kept coming up. It was so bad that I couldn't even climb up the first wall, so I just had to stop. Made me really sad because I really wantwd to get into the game but that was unplayable... when I logged back in sometimes she's get a climbing animation but then get stuck on the wall and nothing worked to get her off there... the graphics and everything looked fine... good even? But this just didn't work so I sighed and closed the game.

I wasn't the only person experiencing issues tho... and the devs were quick to respond on the issues saying they were working on solutions and giving out more compensation. So I wanted to wait until there was some update.

The next say a friend of mine asked me sbout the game and I explained my issues and because I was bored I opened the game again just to see whether something might have changed. And well what can I say... it worked just fine now?? The game had downloaded something and then it was as if nothing ever happened and I was SO HAPPY. Also sad because I could barely play that day because of work but I played 30 minutes and i loved it.

The combat is so refreshing! It feels really dynamic and even though I previously had my issues with the controls for genshin, I somehow managed to get used to it now. Ofc I still can't wait for a ps5 release (praying) but so far it looks really good. Love the designs of the first few characters we meet. First battles were also no problem.

A me-problem is definitely the wordy-ness(?) of the beginning. Just like in every other game they try to explain to you the basics of the world building and system in simple terms but there's just so many new words 😭💀 my gp to attitude is fuck around and find out. Wouldn't be able to explain what a Tacet Field or Echo is to save my damn life. But I can play the game! I have played like a maximum of an hour and haven't even unlocked the banner system yet but while the game lets you roam around freely between mission points... I got that dangerous feeling that I could spend hours doing that and that is definitely a good sign. Very excited to play more. Might make it a before bed routine.

I want to be more casual about it and I think the fact that it's mobile is gonna help. Can't wait to meet more of these cool looking characters. Gonna try and pull Jiyan :) wish me luck.

I asked @m34gs what she thinks the Twisted Wonderland house warden's favourite video games are. She answered in this ask and prompted me to give my thoughts. So, here I am!

Here are a few ground rules: I'm going to pick games I've personally played or had experience with. Also, if a game is in a series and I think they're very similar, I'm listing them together.

The House Warden's Favourite Video Game

Riddle - Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland

Wow, I'm really outing myself with how many Kirby games I've played, huh? Well, I'm not sorry. When I was a child I LOVED Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland. I loved the simple world design, the fun, easy mechanics, and the bright colours/music. It's also a fast game. Even as a child I think I beat it in like six hours. Anyways, I think Riddle would enjoy this game for those reasons. It's something he can lose himself in briefly and have fun. I know there are probably better Kirby games out there and newer ones at that, but the childhood nostalgia wins in the end.

Leona - Tetris

I really love your pick of Mahjong for Leona. Honestly, the desire to just go "yeah, what M34GS said" or pick another tactical game like Chess, Checkers, or even Go. But, I decided Tetris is also a good pick for Leona. As you said, Leona isn't one to care too much about video games, so he isn't going for one with story... like I do. He needs a low risk game with just enough puzzling. So, Tetris. It's fun to arrange things, does require some level of strategy, and is very satisfying when you win. Leona can also put it away at any time, so this means he can nap when he's bored or done.

Azul - Don't Starve Together

While I sort of wanted to pick a murder mystery game with Azul, Don't Starve Together has resource management. Which, I think is right up Azul's alley. Sure, the game has a "survive in the wild" vibe, but Azul is there trying to optimize his strategy, gather everything, and not die. He can also play with Jade and Floyd if he wishes, but there is a high chance those two would sabotage him. Azul will take that risk though, and I think those three would have a lot of fun. It's also a casual game, so he can put it away without worry of story or progress.

Kalim - Harvest Moon (any of them)

I agree that Kalim deserves a relaxing, slow game, without much conflict or objectives in it. While I think a game franchise like Animal Crossing also works, since I've never played an Animal Crossing game myself, I'm picking Harvest Moon. I think Kalim would find it very fun to build his farm, befriend the locals, solve whatever problem is occurring, and marry his favourite NPC. I didn't pick a specific Harvest Moon game simply because I only have experience with two: the original and The Tale of Two Towns (I think... I can't check right now). Besides, Harvest Moon all has the same "flavour" so to speak, so I don't think me specifically stating which game is necessary.

Vil - Super Smash Bros (any of them)

I agree that Vil would love a co-op game that he can play with his close friends. I also agree it has to be easy and with low stakes. Sure, SSBs has "meta units" and an entire competitive video game scene with the game, but I think Vil would play this as a party game. It's casual with everyone just picking their favourite characters and stage. There may be some sabotage (a must) and items on (deadly) but in the end, everyone is just playing to have a good time. Who Vil mains is up to you.

Idia - TWEWY/Neo TWEWY

The urge to pick a mobile game like Genshin Impact or an open world game like BoTW or TotK is high, but I want to avoid gacha games in my list and... I've never played BoTW or TotK. Sorry. So, I picked a personal favourite of mine: The World Ends with You and the sequel. I picked this because I think Idia is the kind of person who gets into the story of a game and enjoy the characters. TWEWY has some amazing characters, great story, amazing music, and of course, the essence of Shibuya packaged into the entire game. I also think Idia would love the game play, enjoying swapping his pins out for better ones, and enjoy the extra challenge modes.

Malleus - Pokemon Yellow/Red/Blue (or Green)

Okay, here is the problem: I think any sort of pet simulator game is great for Malleus, however, I dislike pet simulator games. I'm here for story and lore... which I think is the opposite for Malleus. But here is the thing while Pokemon has a narrative and many components it started off super simple: go around and catch Pokemon and go to the gyms. While newer Pokemon games have introduced so many things like Beauty Contests or an open world design, I think the old games are perfect for Malleus. He'd enjoy creating his team and nicknaming them. I bet he'd be delighted to learn that there are dragon type Pokemon in the world too. Sure, he may struggle with some more "meta" components but at least in the older games we didn't have Mega Evolution or newer Gens and BST to worry about.

R.C is a mischievous person who's definitely on the extroverted side trying to get to know those who catch her interest as best as she can. She's a bit of a chaotic person and while those who see her at first don't think she'd be one to get serious, she can and she will when she needs to. How she actually got into school is a mystery since she seemed to have appeared out of nowhere (it caused quite a few rumors that R.C enjoyed hearing for the drama) but she did and now stays at the Ramshackle Dormitory with Yuu(my au) and his friends. She's easy going and doesn't like too much trouble, always with a grinning look on her face that says 'i'm here for the chaos'. Other than that she loves to spend time with her familiar Gremlin, a racoon with a red bandana and very good understanding of human speech. Despite some seeing her as lazy, Dest is actually very active around certain people she likes. Dest has been best friends with Yuu(my au) and Ryuco since she was little and they've been stuck together by the hip since (Ryuco and Dest had a breakdown when they couldn't find Yuu(my au) when he first came to Twisted Wonderland). She keeps some of her draconic features (eg. scales in certain places, slit pupils, fangs) out instead of hiding them however many mistake her as some sort of dog beastwoman due too the floppy dog like ears and the fluff ended furry tail. Dest is a cinnamon roll who loves being in her full dragon form in her freetime, often going on for a fly around campus or just to sleep more comfortably in the Ramshackle attic (which she had claimed as her 'room'). She has a slightly playful way of going about things like a nervous kitten and feels more at ease around other draconic people be it fae, or dragonborn. Despite looking like a fully capable teenager, Dest is actually still considered a hatchling just barely at fletching stage (meaning she's a child in the eyes of other dragonborn and maybe fae) leading to Ryuco being extremely overprotective when she's out of Ramshackle. Ryuco is a gentle giant putting on a tough act when in reality he's a big softie around those he cares for. He acts serious quite alot however he tries to be more relaxed and open around those he trusts. He's also basically the other babysitter of the ramshackle dorm students alongside Yuu(my au) and spends the majority of his free time making sure that everyone is behaving and doing well. He doesn't like the idea of leaving Dest alone due to her still being rather young but entrusts her to Yuu(my au) when he has to leave. Similarly to Dest he also prefers to have his draconic features (straight white horns, scaly wing tipped tail, slit pupils) out however having two pairs of wings can cause problems in small spaces. He likes to use his tail to wack students on the head when they annoy him too much. Ryuco: So you wish to know more about the ramshackle students. Shiloh is a person who comes of to people as calm, quiet and well reserved when in reality he can actually get quite cocky and bold when people challenge him. he hates having things tying him down, schedules included, hence the reason he was held back a year. Shiloh, like the Ramshackle students is infact from a different world, more specifically, the world Yuu comes from. However he was transported to Twisted Wonderland earlier, three years having past by in Twisted Wonderland and only a few months having passed by in Yuu's world. He likes to say that he's not as bad as he used to be however he still acts like a possibly over confident colt when people challenge him. He has yet to find anyone who has won against him whether in human form or in his kelpie form. Shiloh has also not yet come across someone who has actually 'broken' him, only having attempts from a few Savannaclaw and Octavinelle students (they all failed).

Shiloh: why do i have such sharp teeth? why do you ask? do they perhaps make you nervous? don't believe every myth that you read, alot of them are false.........you just have to figure out which ones

How did you get into Fire Emblem? when i was still in high school some friends of mine kept gushing about some weird guy who had gloves, puffy pants, a singular full length sleeve, and his shoulder out. i didn't get the hype about him at all SDFHDSFHSDF but i liked the art and they liked the game, so i bought it to try it out

What Fire Emblem games have you played? awakening, fe7, fe11/12, fe4, fates (birthright & conquest), engage; i've started and need to restart shadows of valentia, fe6, fe8, and fe9, but i aim to play all of them one day!

How did you find TOA? i heard about it from key for a good while, but i avoided joining at first since i was pretty burnt out in general. eventually zyra brought up the two of us writing macedonks again (we wrote together in an old group!) and i succumbed, hahaha. i was so terrified to join the server back then and she kept sending me screenshots trying to lure me in SDFFFSD

Do you think you have a type of character you gravitate towards? for muses, i tend to gravitate towards the soft-hearted type and the generally good-aligned, but i've been thinking about branching out more/again sometimes

What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? in terms of tenses, i used to favor past tense but i usually flip-flop now depending on what makes my starter post sound nicest HAHA i tend to write event posts in present tense however, and sometimes change to match my partner. for threads in general, i'm drawn to emotional scenes and discussions and character bonding, though in general i like all kinds of threads ^^ and just as a general extra, i really love writing maria specifically. the way she puts in her full effort to love other people and the world itself is honestly really soothing to write sometimes!

Favorite TOA-related memory: i love watching everyone lose their minds when something Wild and Zany happens in an event, to be honest DSFDSFSD i haven't got a great memory myself, so nothing specific from me, but it's lots of fun to see :]

(Idk if I will keep updating this on Wattpad. Barely anyone views this and I have more reading it on tumblr. But I will try. If you can, Please let other genshin players that love Tighnari about this book! Idm having a small audience at all, it's just that my audience on tumblr has more people reading it.) (sorry for a long wait and how short it is 😭)

You woke up curled next to Tighnari. Lifting your head slightly as his began to fall. You held it up for him on your shoulder. You looked down to see the both of yours and his tail wrapped against the others body. Blushing slightly as you used magic to bring the paper on the table towards you. (If only I could irl) Reading what collei had written. You were happy for her. She was getting better at literature. 

"Y/N or Tighnari, whoever is reading this. I would like to ask you both on how to control my dendro powers better. I also want to learn a bit of magic as well just incase I can't use my bow. Please give me some lessons on these. I told the forest rangers to not disturb you both. I'm hoping none came inside, I told them to go to Rana instead. I hope you both enjoyed your nap. I would surely be exhausted talking for hours as my social battery isn't as high. Make sure to check the time when you both work up. I have some pita pockets made on the table for the both of you if you're both hungry."

"Awwh! That's so sweet of her!" You said in a soft voice being careful to not wake Tighnari up beside you. Your tail swished slowly as you kept reading the note. Checking the time which was 6pm. The usual time for dinner. "Hey Nari, it's 6pm do you want to eat?" You nudged him slightly Ashe work up from the gentle touch. "Mmhh?" He said as his eyes opened. He rubbed them as he registered your sentence.

"Oh sure! Also since when did you start calling me Nari hm-?~" he asked with a bit of tease in his voice. "Today because I feel comfortable, it's nice meeting a kindred spirit y'know?" You said as you pointed to the pita pockets in front of the both of you. Silently enjoying the food with not many thoughts in your head. "Do you want to do anything after we're done?" You asked him and he nodded. "Yeah I can take you somewhere that I think you would like in the Avidya Forest." "Ooh! That sounds fun!" You said as he nodded. "Make sure to not startle them. Be careful when we head there." He said as he kept eating. 

You gave him your plate as you finished. Taking them both to the sink and returning to the couch. "When do you want to go? I say nighttime is the prettiest for this place." "We can go right now if you want to Tighnari." "Alright I'll leave a note for collei to find if she can't find us." He said as you got up and went outside. He wrote where you were going to be with him and when you both should return. Before getting up and joining you.

"It's this way." He said as he pulled your shirt(or jacket) lightly. Tugging it to the right. "Oh haha!" You said slightly embarrassed as you followed him. (And no it's not a real location 🥰) After a few turns and dealing with paths you both made it to the spot. You were in awe as Tighnari looked at you. "That was how I was when I first stumbled across this place." He laughed as his gaze went back towards it. 

It was a little clearing with a pond,  Firefly's dazzled around it while some foxes were nearby resting. You could hear crickets clearly with the water rushing slowly. Some birds chirped nearby, the sounds of the animals were calming. "Make sure to not scare them away, be gentle." He said as he brought you closer. Sitting near the edge of the pond. Watching as some of the foxes came up towards him. Cautious and wary of you before realizing you wouldn't hurt them. 

"Hmm." You said as you petted a fox that was near you. "I wonder how it feels getting scratched behind the ear." You said as your eyes went towards the fox. "It feels nice." Tighnari told you as he took a few notes. "Woww so descriptive." You playfully rolled your eyes at him as he laughed. "Numbskull of course it feels good." Still writing notes down. "Well I never experienced it since my ears are lowered often." 

"Anyways how long are we going to stay here?" You asked as you looked at him." "I suppose we could stay here for a bit more if you want." "Sure then." You replied as your focus went elsewhere. "Are we going when you finish your notes?" "Yeah I am almost done." He continued to write before getting up. Handing out his hand to you as you touched his. Going back towards Tighnaris house. 

"Our exchange is changing a lot." You said out loud as he heard you. "Yeah we're becoming friends, that's how interactions work." "Do you always have a need to be sassy?" "Not really do you?" "No..." "That's good." Collei saw as the both of you came back. Giving her report to Tighnari and told what happened while the both of you were away. "Thank you collei." He stated as he sat down on a chair. Reading the reports that she handed him. "I'll go get ready for bed." Teleporting away from the both of them and quickly took a shower and changed. Using clothes you had brought along as you came back to the both of them.

"That was quick." Collei stated as she saw you teleport in front of them. You wore a long shirt with medium length pants. Watching Tighnari read the reports. "They all did well today. Glad there's no longer withering zone reports. Those were tiring with a limited amount of people available to battle them." 

"It sounds as difficult as the Decree we had in inazuma. It was hard to get trades and export everything. With less visitors and unable to make trades made it hard to earn money." You said remembering how many had suffered to afford their homes. "I have heard about it. Especially with the raiden shogun not letting anyone slip up." 

"Anyways you guys can go sleep I'll be writing my responses to the forest rangers." Tighnari stated as he watched you both leave the room. Focusing on making his responses. His eyes went towards the window. Gazing at the moon every now and then. Before falling asleep on his bed. 

"Tighnari are you up yet?" You said as you tapped him as his shoulder, his ears picked up on your voice as he looked at you. "What's up?" "The sky, anyways I'm heading to sumeru city to get some souvenirs. Do you know any good spots? Or I can mark some stuff based on sumeru." 

"I can teach you to make a flower crown in exchange for how to make something from inazuma." He stated as you agreed. "We can go make some quickly before I start working." "Yeah it sounds fun!" He took out some Nilotpalas lotuses and sumeru roses. "Chose however pattern you want." He said as he made a pattern. Watching you do the same thing. "So here's how you do it..."

"Master has been exchanging information with Y/N again. I don't know where they headed off to but don't worry! He definitely wrote a message somewhere on a letter. I think it's over there actually." Collei stated as she handled the amount of forest rangers coming to her for help. (This sure is getting hard to keep up with, I hope the both of them return soon to us.) she thought as the number of forest rangers dwindled and finally dispersed."Oh it's time for patrol soon. So they should be returning soon for it." Collei told herself as she checked the time. Getting everything ready for him and her for his arrival with you. 

"That was fun! I like the combo, purple and yellow is always great together." You said as you enjoyed the color choice. "Glad you do, anyways it's time for patrol so we are heading back, you can go to sumeru city and look for souvenirs and stuff over there while we're busy." "Alright well we should hurry we don't want you being late to it." He nodded as the both of you ran towards Gandharva Ville. "Well goodbye guys!" You said as you waved goodbye as they headed off. Teleporting to sumeru city you were in awe. Sumeru city's tree really was holding up the Akademiya. "Now to find someone or somewhere to go to for souvenirs." You stated as you wandered around the place. Many things caught you eye as you purchased some for your friends and had some breakfast over there. 

"Sumeru city is nice I didn't think there would be a whole tree in the city! " you told yourself as your gaze lingered on it before you pulled out your phone and started to eat. Trying to ignore the stares you recieved from others. Were they all in awe of you or were they trying to figure out what you are? Surely the scholars know you're from inazuma and are kitsune. The ones that aren't scholars may only know of you being inazuman.

You Reap What You Sow - Chapter 9

Genshin Impact SAGAU x Iron Harvest 1920+

Perspectives of the Loyal

Warning: This chapter and the next one will take place at the same time, just from different perspectives. Some stuff might also be out of character since I don't play Genshin Impact.

"Mornings here are beautiful," said one of the šetačs who is part of the squad which accompanied you to the Zapolyarny Palace. He looked up at the sunrise, its golden rays shining with a yellowish-orange glow upon the icy blue structure.

Another šetač walked beside the soldier to accompany him. "Surely better than looking at the mech," he said to his partner, pointing to the TF-987 Čuvar which was in its defensive mode for the entire night. The mech in this stage huddled up like a caterpillar in its cocoon, Its electric blue eye looking for potential threats to the Divine One.

"On days like these, I wonder if there are inhabitants of Teyvat still loyal to the Divine One, instead of joining those who chased them out." The first šetač said. "I mean, surely not everyone hates our grace, right?"

"I'm pretty sure there's someone out there who recognizes the Divine One. If not, then this world truly is blind." The second one replied, looking towards the sunrise.

Albedo looked over a conspiracy board he set up after putting Klee to bed.

He was in his lab trying to figure out the strange occurrences which have been occurring in Mondstadt. First, wild animals refused to hunt. Then, crop harvests started becoming less favorable. Furthermore, the statues of the Divine Creator slowly deteriorated and fell apart despite everyone's best efforts to try and repair them.

And finally, everyone felt as if something was missing, but they couldn't pinpoint what. But Albedo knew exactly what it was.

It was the fact that their Divine Creator had seemingly had their contact severed from them. It's the only logical explanation for all the happenings. They chased out their own creator in that impostor hunt, believing them to be a false idol of sorts. Now, they're paying the price. Teyvat itself is causing this, and Albedo is sure Kaeya knows what is going on as well.

Meanwhile, in Mondstadt, Kaeya couldn't shake the feeling of emptiness while on his break. This occurred a day after the Impostor was supposedly chased out of Mondstadt. And he knew how dire the circumstances were. Market prices were high with the lack of food, and talk about people starving in the streets became regular talk.

He quickly put two and two together. That impostor was the same god that created them all. The same god who watched as Khaenri'ah was founded as a nation without a god to rule them. You gave them their freedom, so they revered you in secret despite upholding the reputation of being a godless nation.

And he liked the fact that the Divine One let their nation flourish on its own, rather than just destroying it. He felt you lamenting at the Cataclysm. Knowing who you were, he felt powerless when he knew he couldn't do much to convince Jean and the other Knights of Favonius that you were the Divine One.

Perhaps this explains why when he went hunting, the animals he encountered allowed themselves to be hunted. It also might explain why bushes have more berries on them whenever he finds them.

So he decided to go to you instead. He didn't know any reasons to leave Mondstadt for a prolonged period of time, though, so he decided to sneak out instead. He would wait for nightfall, then sneak out from the back gate. However, Kaeya didn't know that someone else left beforehand.

When he saw you being chased down, Venti recalled the time when he lost his friend and took on his appearance. Losing his friend was bad enough, and he didn't want to lose you too.

So he helped you using the wind, giving you more speed. When he witnessed you shoot that Knight of Favonius, he wondered what it was and how powerful it could be.

He left Mondstadt two days later. Using whatever Mora he had with him, he bought a coat before picking some apples. Then, he departed for Snezhnaya with the intention of finding you.

After half an hour into departing, he ran into a hilichurl camp. While his instincts told him to run, he heard a voice emerge from the creatures.

"Inform everyone that we can find to not attack Venti. He helped me, so should he need the same, give it to him."

It was your voice. No wonder why they were friendly to him as he filled up on some soup and water. Waving goodbye after some dinner, the bard continued on to Snezhnaya. Upon finding the first instances of eternal snow, he knew he was in the right area.

"I'll find you soon, your grace," the archon disguising himself as a bard thought to himself.

Beidou lay awake on the deck, staring at the moon while everyone else was asleep on the Alcor.

She heard of the hunt for the Impostor, and how Ningguang was involved in it. She was appalled but didn't visibly show her distaste. But everyone on the ship knew how she felt, and they shared her sentiments. They couldn't believe that the people of Liyue just believed that fake on the throne so blindly.

They all felt an emptiness that day, and they hated it. Some members panicked; were you dead? Missing? They don't know. But Beidou assured them that you would be fine.

Then the occurrences happened. Crops failing to grow, animals refusing to be hunted, more aggressive monsters, etc.

Truth be told, she didn't know either. However, she was snapped out of her trance after hearing weird flying sounds. She turned and found a weird contraption of sorts flying in the Alcor's general direction, but it had additions to it. Four flaps on its side, a weird contraption at the rear, and two giant cylinders underneath the central body. Beidou noted that they were far away from Liyue harbor, so it was unlikely that anyone would hear it.

Then the crew of the Alcor woke up and walked to the deck. They saw the contraption as well and looked on with curiosity.

Suddenly, the contraption stopped a few meters in front of Beidou and a trapdoor opened up at the top of it. A person stuck themselves out and threw something at her. She caught it on instinct and found out it was a message in a bottle.

"Hey, who are you?" Beidou yelled at them. But they just went back into their contraption and turned around. She just popped open the cork of the bottle and read the message inside as the other crewmates of the Alcor gathered around her.

"To Beidou, Uncrowned Lord of the Ocean: Your divine figure is safe with us, do not worry. He will call for you. When he does, follow his directions. There you shall see your grace. With best regards, William Mason, officer of Usonia." The message was signed off with a drawing of a shield. It was predominantly blue and had a white eagle in the middle of it. Eight white stars were present as well, four on the top and four on the bottom.

This raised more questions than answers. What was that contraption? Who is this 'William Mason?' Everyone went to bed that day with questions, but Beidou had a hunch that you were okay in the hands of these strangers.

Kujou Sara felt unease and emptiness over the past few days.

When the hunt for the one who impersonated their divine grace was declared, Inazuma had its best soldiers search for them. Sara was one of the first to respond, eagerly taking her spot. Suddenly, issues that were reported in Mondstadt and Liyue were reported in Inazuma.

Alongside said issues, the Pyro Hypostasis wandered outside of its area in Kannazuka and started terrorizing all that came into contact with it. Riftwolves started becoming more aggressive as well. Sara was dispatched to take care of it herself since all the other soldiers were sent to dispatch major issues of riftwolves all over the island nation.

Upon arriving at the spot where the Hypostasis was, she dodged its attacks and tried to crack its shell. But midway through, a massive pack of riftwolves started attacking her. While she was the most revered and powerful general in the Shogun's army, she couldn't handle sheer numbers. She was overwhelmed and thought this would be the end...

...And then they were blown away by fiery blasts. To Sara's shock and disbelief, the Pyro hypostasis protected her. This wouldn't be the case, but then she heard a voice emanating from the elemental lifeform.

"Protect her, Ayin, please. She's one of my favorites. There may be ones that do not recognize her; fight them off by what means necessary."

She knew that voice. That voice was the voice of the Divine One. Then, she remembered. You had guided her when the traveler arrived in Inazuma. She simply looked on at the Hypostasis as it fought against the rifthounds that seemingly didn't recognize her as one of the Divine One's favorites. She flew off while she had the chance, still hearing the Hypostasis fight against those rifthounds.

This is a scenario that Sara is going to excuse herself from.

You found out about some of your vessels today at Noon. Pulcinella helped you sort them out as you ended up with a small list of those who are most likely to be loyal to you other than the Fatui.

Kujou Sara, Sangonoiya Kokomi, Gorou, the Traveler (you had a hunch about this one), Kaeya Alberich, Albedo Kriedeprinz, Yoimiya, Lesser Lord Kusanali, Venti.

It's a small list, but it's speculated that there are more loyal acolytes out there.

hskfjskdj aaaa thank you??? that's such a nice thing to say... for me i learned coding in uni and i'm a full-time software developer! but i'm so happy that you're interested in finding out how to get started in coding, because you definitely don't need to take a computer science course to be able to code! you can learn programming by yourself and there are a lot of (free) websites & learning materials out there that can help you!!! plus, i'd say that the things i made for genshin are mainly pretty simple so far; all client-based apps with no backends nor frameworks at all! i know you said i don't have to provide full details but this got so long shskdjsl i'm sorry-

ok so i have three types of things i've created for genshinblr: voicelines, chatroom, and otome game.

in terms of coding, this might come as a surprise but the simplest one is actually the otome game (mainly because the game engine did most of the heavy lifting)!! that, followed by the voicelines and then the chatroom respectively, is in order from "simplest coding" -> "more complicated (but still pretty simple) stuff".

if you wanna do something like genshin otome, you really don't need advanced python knowledge. even with a normal visual novel style (with chatbox and stuff), it's pretty simple to code! renpy takes care of the more complicated stuff here, so you can focus on the more important (+ time-consuming) things like assets gathering and scripting your dialogs/narrations. they have tutorials for that and the community is very helpful if you bump into any difficulties!

but if you want to have something like the p5 visual novel i created, now that's a different story........ *war flashbacks*

first off, don't be scared just because there are three languages being used in this haha html is a super easy language to learn and is used by all web pages you see today. css is basically a language to style and make stuff look pretty. and lastly, javascript is the one that drives the logic of the application! these are all very basic languages for web programming and it's good to familiarize yourself with them before moving on to frameworks and stuff!

concept wise it's really simple. i used videos of the characters' idle animations in the character screen as the background. i also have an variable to store the character information + their voicelines, and used buttons to display the voiceline titles. upon clicking these buttons, the app will append the voiceline content accordingly to the section on the right side. the most difficult part here is the styling.

just like the voicelines, this project used 3 languages. the only thing that makes it complicated is the logic that's driving the 'conversation'...

to offer a high-level explanation, the logic goes something like this: when you click on a character from the left panel's listing, it'll get an array of objects which contains information about what's gonna happen in the chat for that person. then, based on the specified intervals, it'll loop through the items, and based on the type of the object it'll do different things, e.g. showing timestamps, showing chat bubbles, showing emotes, asking user to pick a choice, showing said choice as a chat bubble, etc....

of course, things aren't that straightforward in the actual implementation. for example, when the app is showing a selection of choice to the user, it needs to stop looping through the array and resume said loop the moment you picked a choice. and say you selected a choice, there has to be some logic to pick which item in the list should be shown and which should be skipped based on your selection, because there are branching paths and such, etc.

so, where can you learn all this stuff? to kickstart, i'd say you can use things like codecademy to get yourself familiarized with the most basic concepts of the languages. there are also tutorialspoint and w3schools and a ton of other websites out there.

after the basics, i'd suggest with start practicing hands-on with actual projects! it doesn't have to be anything complicated and you can always take inspiration from your surroundings! maybe build a weather app. or try to copy twitter's layout to practice your CSS. perhaps code your own to-do list app. practice, practice, practice!

oh and if you need help with any questions or issues, stackoverflow is usually where you would go. but don't be afraid to google stuff. google will be your best friend and you don't need to feel ashamed about it!!

I don't have much to say about myself, really. I studied English/writing in college, then later added some philosophy/psychology to that. I casually watch random shows/anime/cartoons, and I like playing games on my offtime (I still play a lot of Left 4 Dead).

I've always written random stuff since I was little, but I no longer have all the old journals I used to fill with old fanfic lol. I never used to post it online until I got into the Tokyo Mew Mew fandom since I grew up watching that anime a lot. The Facility is actually my first major original work published online. I've always had ideas and stories floating around in my head, and even a fanfic Code Lyoko comic and an original comic I used to draw when in class featuring friends of mine from high school that sort of evolved into its own thing, but I've never really posted stuff anywhere!

I have an interest in the aesthetics of medicine, cyberpunk, and the post-apocalyptic, but I'm no expert on any of that :p.

I was into a lot of random fandoms in my teens/early adulthood. Tokyo Mew Mew, Homestuck, Steven Universe, Undertale, Love Live, Kingdom Hearts, etc. Made a lot of fancharacters for TMM and Homestuck specifically. I like Genshin right now, just because I like the world/characters. I like attending conventions if I can afford it, but I'm not really a superfan of anything and just like to enjoy things here and there.

Otherwise I mostly just keep to myself and try to make money to pay for rent/food. Not much else! :p If you have anything particular you want to know, you're welcome to ask.
