I keep thinking about qFit's journey in terms of sexuality . Like, he went from vehemently denying any implication that he had a crush on a guy, to stating that he was into dudes hurriedly and nervously to just his kid ("if I had to choose between the two, it'd be a dad"), to outright proudly declaring his attraction to men and even his specific preferences and sometimes even in front of a bunch of people ("I like a man who's prepared" , "I like my men dangerous")

Like it's pretty easy to take for granted, but when you think about his backstory as a character and all,.. man it's all so hard earned and so important

Ace knew just as well as anyone that in modern day society, it was common to not end up with your soulmate. Some people never met their soulmate, some people's soulmates were just not a good match, some people seemingly didn't even have a soulmate. It was fine. Nothing to get butt hurt about. 

Ace's soulmate mark on the palm of his hand had never even sparkled, let alone lit up. And he'd found someone that he had fun with. He wasn't sure if it was really love, but that was fine since he couldn't be sure if he was even capable of love.

He probably wasn't. His only other relationship, he'd ghosted them once he got bored. So a fun relationship, with no love, was probably all he deserved.

Until the day the you'd poofed into the mirror chamber, and his soulmate mark had glowed for the first time in his life. He saw you looking around in confusion, and at the time, he had assumed you were looking for him. Later he would realize you were too scared to even notice your mark. He was so god damn selfish.

He quietly slipped a glove on that was supplied with his uniform, and decided to wait and scope you out.

You'd both just defeated a monster of some kind, and you, Deuce, and the cat monster were laughing together, but he was just thinking of you.

He couldn't do this with you. You'd be hurt at first, but it would be better than knowing your soulmate was a heartless asshole who would leave you when he got bored.

You never had to know. He'd take solace in what he had, and give you your best chance for happiness. 

His string of fate had finally become a natural color. And during the SDC auditions, he'd found it belonged to you. 

He'd told you the truth. That he'd been seeing many people, believing that you were dead, or he'd never been destined to meet you. He was practically pleading with you to forgive him for the crimes he'd committed against you, but you told him you'd done the same thing once you'd realized your string wasn't the correct color.

He fought back a wave of intense jealousy, by kissing you, and telling you he'd break up with the one he'd been dating immediately. Hell, he'd be doing it right this moment, if you hadn't told him it'd be cruel for him to do it over a call.

How could he even care about cruel when you were right in front of him? Ready to help him find his happily ever after! 

Lilia had always told him about soulmates, and how they would change your life. When you saw them, your world would literally expand, the otherworldly "colors" flooding your vision, but all you'd be able to focus on is their eyes.

He'd started at NRC, and Riddle Rosehearts had brought up the fact that a marriage of convenience would help Malleus more than being with his soulmate would. Silver had stepped in, repeating what master Lilia had always repeated. But Rosehearts was one that his lord respected dearly. There was no harm in trying it.

And one date with the rich merchant's kid had turned into two, had turned into three, had turned into a full relationship. For Sebek, the connections were very helpful to his king. For his partner, connections to the fae court, which were normally hard to come by, were completely open to them. 

While Lilia often gave the disappointed dad look,  and Silver wanted no part in the relationship, Sebek saw no reason to end it.

At least until the two of you made eye contact, and he finally got to experience color. 

You were ecstatic! But he was torn… could he give up this boon he had for his master, just for his own happiness.

He told you he needed time. You looked disappointed. Perhaps you had your own Lilia back home who had filled you with beautiful promises. But you told him you understood. Albeit with tears glimmering in the corners of your eyes.

He spent three days straight training. He didn't think to stop, even with the sweat streaming into his eyes, causing them  to burn more than they already were. 

It wasn't until he felt his Lord's calming presence entering his periphery, a steaming mug of hot cocoa, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream floating in it, in his hands.

"It would be foolish to work yourself to death."

Sebek halted his moves, sheathing his sword, and quietly grabbing the mug.

"It is not often you are rendered speechless," Malleus smirked,but Sebek could barely nod.

Malleus sighed. "Humans do not live very long. To have one for your soulmate is a blessing few get to share. You will have centuries to be bound to someone you do not love.Do not lose your chance to hold them while you have them."

Malleus vanished as quickly as he appeared. Sebek stared at his hot cocoa, before running to find you, while he still had the chance.

He was always so cold. No matter where he was, he never could find the warmth of his soulmate. He'd ask his friends every once in a while to see if there was a soul that was destined to truly belong to him. The answer was always no. So he lived in eternal winter.

Those trapped in the cold seek warmth. And he'd found solace in a simple witch. There was no love. The relationship was purely to bring warmth to one another.

Then one day, he felt a moment of relief, as his friends came running for him, all of them speaking over one another. The only word he could consistently catch was , "Soulmate". The worst part was that he was literally in the arms of his little witch.

It wasn't that he didn't want you. He desperately did. Especially when Everytime you walked into the room, the cold numbing his fingertips dissipate, and he'd feel like he was in a warm embrace.

But you never pushed him, because of the conversation he had with you the moment you walked into his shop for the first time.

"I can't."

"Huh?"

"Not yet. I have someone relying on me. I'm their only source of warmth. Can you wait for me?"

You truly were perfect for him, because you never brought it up. And if you were anything like him, you desperately wanted the warmth you would feel if you held him close to you. But you were so patient. Pretending everything was fine, while he searched tirelessly for a soulmate that might not exist, for a potion that would simulate the warmth. 

One day though. He promises that one day, he'll have it figured out. And then both of your patience will have paid off.

no one could ever love him. Which is why he wasn't bothered that no one's name was scrawled on his arm. And why he wasn't bothered when his brother had nervously asked if he'd be opposed to a betrothal to someone from another country. It's not like anyone was waiting for him.

It was a comfortable relationship. They definitely didn't love each other. But at least there was someone who had to at least pretend they cared when you complained about something. Comfortable. That's all he could ask for.

Until he'd felt pain on his arm, and found a name scrawled onto it for the first time. In a sea of new freshmen, he could pretend he didn't notice. He could pretend he didn't see.

And he hadn't run into the person the name belonged to, until you stepped on his tail in the greenhouse.

And after that, you were trying. You were trying so damn hard. It was endearing, and he almost let you in.

But deep down, he knew you'd one day seem him for who he was.

So one day, on edge from you asking him questions about himself, he snapped and told you to stop wasting your time, and get out of his life. Stop lying. No one could ever love him.

You glared at him. You called him a coward. And he growled back at you.

"I don't need you!"

For a moment, you seemed startled. Then you glared at him, and held your head high as you told him you wished him the best but doubted he'd find it.

And as he watched you storm off, a part of him knew you were right.

sarah, my darling! i had to boot up my laptop to answer this because i have things to say.

let's start with nur and basir. these two are the only two protected by plot armor, so they will always be with you. at least in the beginning; they might choose to leave due to your choices later on. at least they can't die, yay!

now, nur got arrested, but she is perfect with her words and got off without much of an sentence, basically working loopholes and getting off with a slap of the wrist. she does own a legitimate business dealing in bookkeeping, so that helped her a lot. plus lies. she could talk a shark out of biting her in the middle of a chew. she will be your greatest ally, if you play your cards right, but your greatest enemy if you cross her. she'd make a frightening law enforcement officer, come to think of it. she's the most level-headed member of the hdmc for sure, which doesn't take a lot considering how much trauma all these peeps have stacked.

basir is... a character. the only reason he didn't get arrested was because he managed a distraction (the rest of the club going apeshit basically) and just bolted, and has been lying low ever since, working a normal job. he really doesn't pay much attention to 'right and wrong' on societal standards, so he jumps between being a gang member, to holding a normal job by forging qualifications, and gets right back to being a gang member. you know that pink gun gif/meme? that's basically basir in a nutshell, personality wise. funny how a bored bankers makes the best treasurers.

on the subject of angel/vaz arrests. you will be able to take down vaz, eventually, in the later gameplay, the method depending on you choices and which storyline you're following. before that, it wouldn't be that easy because there's no concrete proof that vaz has done anything illegal, only hearsay and circumstantial evidence. there's no paper trail, no cctv footage, and no willing (read also as: living) witnesses. angel did try to pursue it at first, when there were rumors and the former president of 'his' gang died but vaz (or the gang itself, as many say) has superior half of the san maro pd in his pocket, and angel would quickly be told not to pursue anything more. if they didn't have a young child to both protect and provide for, they'd very well continue their investigation in private, but they have no choice but to turn the other cheek. for now.

you will be able to either have vaz arrested, or outright kill him. the águilas rojas will be thankful either way, and it'd solidify a strong alliance between the two clubs. unless you choose to do something else entirely.

believe me, angel would like nothing more than to toss that cretin behind bars for the rest of his life, but the system they work for is crooked beyond salvation.

also keno is everyone's dad, draw up the adoption papers. he will do a little tappy-tap on your head with a book when you're acting up. what could anyone do, throw a punch? can't even reach his face lmao. fella just gonna pick you up like a toddler. i love big literary papa, he can take me to a matinee any day.

I just had a lightning bolt of inspiration for the poly-med au, so hear me out:

Cause think about it! She could have patches of flaming red, she spent a long time around the two-leg place roughly six months ago, and then this tiny flaming red kittypet kitten shows up, claiming that he heard about the Clans from his dad (Jake would step up to raise Rusty more in this au, and would be talking about Tallstar) and Spottedleaf and Bluestar seem very eager to let him in... I imagine that the children of the poly-med gen. would often have prophecies attached to them... and the Thunderclan inhabitants quickly wise up and realize that there's probably a prophecy going on...

Granted, this would nix Spotted/Fire. Not too bad.

But word travels quickly at the gathering, and at Firepaw's first one, he is awkwardly shuffled to meet the Meddie cats. Cats stare at him, whisper about Spottedleaf, and overall Firepaw is very confused since no one explained what was going on.

Yellowfang meets him and is immediately like 'You're Spottedleaf's bastard son? I thought she'd choose a handsome mate, but I'm sure your parent has a... tolerable personality."

I'm honestly very interested in how this affects the relationship between Spottedleaf and her husbands/wives. How much of a grudge do they hold against her and Firepaw? Would the expectation be that they shun her for her treachery or would they step up as adoptive parents?

Either way, while I think Spotty could make an argument in ThunderClan about him being accepted on the ground that, you know, meddie child and all, it'd be a harder pill to swallow in the other Clans to have him so readily accepted. I imagine seeing him as deputy and eventually leader would incense them even more and boy that is juicy drama.

Also Firepaw's "mom" dying. That's gonna hit hard on the boy.

If this skips a generation, Leafpool's gonna be the next one right? This can be slotted neatly into the concept as I was developing it. Though it would preclude Kestrel/Jay/Willow/Flame polycule. Shame, I like those guys.

Alejandro had given Rodolfo space. He knew better than to try to explain to Rodolfo that it wasn't him, that Mateo had done it. Mateo would only combat it and Rodolfo would be confused and would get upset. Alejandro didn't want to confuse Rodolfo.

So, he'd texted him that he was sorry and that he would give him some space. And... it'd worked. Rodolfo was now actively laying on Alejandro. Alejandro had always considered Rodolfo like a giant cat. You couldn't acknowledge that Rodolfo was laying on you or he'd go away.

So, Alejandro was doing his best not to, just petting his hair and closing his eyes. "I was thinking... You keep getting stressed about the venue for our wedding, what if we just used the ranch? I like the idea of an outdoor wedding."

"We wouldn't have to worry about venue dates." Rodolfo nodded a bit, looking up at him and smiling. Alejandro leaned down and kissed him softly.

"Exactly." Alejandro nodded when he pulled away and laid back.

Rodolfo laid his head back on Alejandro's chest, again. "Mateo suggested we use the church. But... I don't know, I don't want to do that."

"Of course, he would," Alejandro muttered. Mateo knew what the church was to Alejandro. He knew that Alejandro would rather die. He was likely trying to start another fight between him and Rodolfo.

Rodolfo furrowed his brows and looked up at Alejandro. "I don't understand why you're so cruel to him. He doesn't do anything to you."

Alejandro looked up at the ceiling. No, he couldn't keep doing this. He needed to put a stop to this. "It's just... petty brother shit."

"He's my friend, Alejandro." Rodolfo sat up. He shook his head and Alejandro tried to stop him, but he left a moment later. Alejandro could only imagine what Mateo had put in Rodolfo's head that would make him think Alejandro was doing this out of malice.

Alejandro prayed this would work. He'd talked to Alvarez, who hated Mateo almost as much as Alejandro. She was going to distract Rodolfo while Alejandro talked to Mateo.

So, Alejandro went to the room where Mateo was hanging out, drinking coffee, and reading a newspaper. Just like their dad. God, he hated him.

Ale was with him, having somehow understood that this was basically a mission even without his vest, and so he was dutifully by Alejandro's side.

Alejandro pats his head before going to Mateo. "We have to talk."

Mateo looked up, raising an eyebrow. "Oh?"

"You're leaving." Alejandro dropped Mateo's bag on the table in front of him. "I'm not letting you continue to disrespect me in my own base."

Mateo stared at the bag and then laughed. "Yeah, no. I'm not going anywhere. Rudy's going to be upset."

"Don't call him that, you don't get to. And... no. You're leaving." Alejandro shook his head.

"Who's going to make me?"

"Me." Alejandro glared at him. "I think you forget. You're just a friend to Rodolfo. I kick you out, and he's going to be mad at me, sure. But he's not going to choose you." Alejandro hoped Rodolfo wouldn't choose Mateo. "The most you do is comfort him after problems you cause. He won't need that if you're gone-"

Alejandro huffed when he hit the wall, Mateo holding him by the throat. God, it was fucking pathetic, Mateo had to put all of his weight on Alejandro, but... Alejandro didn't fight back. He knew better. He just stared at Mateo. "You feel better?"

"If you try to make me leave, I will tell him you tried to kill me." Mateo snarled.

"Okay." Alejandro nodded.

Mateo looked into his eyes and Alejandro resisted the urge to slam his own skull into Mateo's as hard as he could. No. He couldn't fight back. Mateo's eyes narrowed. "You're not the only one who's slept with him, you know that, right?"

Alejandro's heart sank. No, he knew Rodolfo wouldn't cheat. Mateo would have come to Alejandro about it the moment it happened. "You're. Leaving."

Mateo laughed. "He thought I was you, of course. It was so easy."

He's lying. "I mean it. You're leaving."

"I know about the tattoo on the inside of his thigh. The rabbit-"

Alejandro saw red. In fact, he had himself braced to just tear into Mateo, but he didn't even get the chance.

"Mateo! Let my fiance go!"

Alejandro relaxed, immediately. Both looked over at Rodolfo in the doorway, and he looked pissed. Ale was by his side and Alvarez was a bit behind him. She nodded a little at Alejandro and Alejandro relaxed.

He shoved Mateo off, flexing how easy it was.

"Rudy," Mateo quickly stepped back, blinking. "It was self-defense-" He stopped and both picked up that Rodolfo had a tablet in his hands.

"No, it wasn't, you fucking liar. I saw on the cameras." Rodolfo turned the tablet around, showing them the camera feed. It showed the room they were in right now.

"He threatened me." Mateo pleaded.

Alejandro snorted. "That camera has sound. We leave witnesses in here, so it helps to have sound." He went over to Rodolfo, wrapping his arm around him, and kissing his temple.

"I want you to leave," Rodolfo told Mateo, "and don't lay another fucking hand on my fiance, again."

"Rudy, please-"

"You heard him." Alejandro glared at Mateo.

Mateo's expression changed. "Fine-"

"No." Alejandro shook his head. He'd been the recipient of that sudden vitriol. He wasn't letting Rodolfo deal with that. "Get the fuck out, silently. You don't get an exit speech. Leave now, don't say another word, or I'm going to drag you out."

Mateo glared at Alejandro but grabbed his bag and finally left.

Ale snarled at him as he left before he just sat and tilted his head at Rodolfo. Alejandro didn't waste time pulling Rodolfo into his arms. "Alejandro, I didn't-"

"It's okay," Alejandro murmured, kissing Rodolfo's hair.

"I didn't know it was him..."

"I know." Alejandro wasn't going to let this go unpunished. He would text Valeria, later.

"I'm sorry, I should have listened to you." Rodolfo looked up at Alejandro.

Alejandro smiled and touched his face. "Maybe, but it's okay. It's over now. Just... stop talking to my family, okay?"

"Okay." Rodolfo nodded.

Alejandro leaned down and kissed him. "Can we discuss using the ranch as our venue, now?"

1958 Pt2 - Never Alone

Before Sofia knew it she was in her second trimester. Being in Copperdale meant she got to see Dr. Portillo again. "How you feeling?"

"Excited, nervous...like I'm ready for it to be over."

"So right on track then. No husband today?"

"He's back in Oasis Springs."

"It may not be my business but it is my job to make sure you're taking care of yourself. Is everything okay between you two?"

"Oh yeah. He's just busy...with work...we thought it'd be best if I was near my parents"

He frowned but didn't make any more comment on her being alone.

For a moment he was silent as he dragged the scanner across her belly, "Before you ask...it's not twins. Would you like to know what you're having?"

"I think...I'd like to wait till Jamal is here. To find out together."

"Not a problem we can wait."

"Thank you!"

"Sofia, I suggest you find someone else to attend the next appointment...and to start going to classes with you. If he's in Oasis Springs, there's a good chance he won't make it in time. I don't mean to scare you but 2nd babies frequently come much faster than the 1st."

Sofia grit her teeth but brushed past her mother and out of the house before she had a chance to explode. Her gaze fell on the ferris wheel in the distance and just made her more angry.

Anabelle followed her outside a little while later. "It can't be comfortable sitting on the hard ground like that."

"I'm fine!"

"Come inside and let's talk about this."

"I don't want to talk to you."

"Sofia, I'm your mother please talk to me."

Silence settled between them for a moment and then Anabelle joined her in the grass. "What's this about?"

"How could you do it mom. How could you look me in the face and leave me there. I get not wanting to be pregnant but how could you hold us both and choose him?!"

"I wonder that everyday. I look at you and am in awe of the woman you are. I can't take any credit for it because I've never done anything but fail you...But I'm trying to be the mother you deserve."

Sofia sighed, "Will you be in the room with me...if Jamal can't?"

"Yes but it's still early, so it's probably just a false alarm right? My husband will be here next week, baby has to wait just a little longer."

toge is pregnant.

wait, let me explain: we fucked. it was good, we beat our previous record and went up to nineteen rounds (not in a row, though). i came at least three or four times deep inside him, twice on his pussy, only once in his ass, and i lost count for his face and stomach.

that was a month and a half ago.

just a few hours ago, he woke me up and told me he was late. at first i didn't understand. i thought he was talking about homework. then he told me "i should have gotten my periods already". so i went back to sleep. and then, i realised.

so i asked him, you know, how long it'd been. he said "more than a month". so i got up, put one boot and one converse on, some boxers, and told him to wait there and drink a lot so he'd be ready to piss. then, i ran to the drugstore.

we were in the middle of the night (i know that because on the way back i saw yuuji, who was leaving a party with the basketball team. he looked worried after seeing the plastic bag from the drugstore, but i didn't have time, so i yelled at him).

toge pissed on a few tests (i think i bought almost the entire aisle). he didn't want me to be with him in the bathroom, so i waited next to the door. he was taking some time, so i knocked and asked him if he needed anything, and he opened the door. he didn't say anything, he just opened the mini-fridge, grabbed two big bottles of water, and went back inside the bathroom.

i thought "that can't be good", so i started playing with my thumbs, trying to not bite my nails, while he was pissing like the niagara falls on the other side of the door.

i don't know how long i waited, but it was long for sure. or maybe it was short but felt long, i lost track of time so i don't really know.

then, i realised he might be dehydrated with the niagara falls and all, so i knocked again and asked him if he needed more water— and he opened the door, and threw lots of tests at my face. usually i would have yelled at him for doing that, even though i like piss and i press on his bladder sometimes— anyway, that's not what we're here to talk about.

he threw tests at me and laid down on the bed. so i looked at the tests: they were all positive. all of them. no exception.

toge is pregnant. i'm going to be a dad.. or not, depending on his choice.

it reminded me of my own dad, who left. he left because of mom, and i don't think he's as much to blame as she is, but still, i said:

"i'm staying. i'm here."

i said that to toge, and i looked at him and he looked at me, so i did our usual sign (like 🤟​, it's sign language for "i love you"). but then i saw his hand twitch, and that's when i knew: he was too confused and upset to think rationally, and usually that means he thinks violence is the answer (self-harm, in this case).

so i jumped at him and grabbed his wrists in my hand before he could hit his stomach. he cried in my arms.

i think he freaked out because he's only 22, and that's when his mom got him. i don't know much about his dad, but i do know we don't talk about him. he's taboo. he left, too.

i held toge against me while he cried. i don't know how long i held him, but it was short for sure. or maybe it was long but felt short, i lost track of time so i don't really know.

when he stopped crying, i told him "no matter your decision, i'm staying". i didn't want him to feel like he had to choose our relationship over anything, you know. but that made him cry more, and he said between two hiccups: "i can't— i can't, i just can't— i don't know—" and then he stopped because he was crying too much to talk.

it's something like 8AM now, dear diary. we're having an emergency meeting with shoko, the nurse who's also a doctor who's also toge's medical help. she's a lot of things.

toge is showering and he told me he was better, that's why i'm talking to you right now; i asked him to let the door open though, so i can watch him. he knows i'm asking because he's in a fragile state of mind, and i don't want him to hurt himself. he takes care of me, i take care of him. that's the deal.

i don't know if i want to be a dad. i don't know if you choose that. it's probably a luxury most people don't have... i don't know. maybe we're just unlucky bastards.

toge isn't pregnant, he just has shit luck: he's anxious about exams and life in general, so he stopped eating (i try to make him eat but he's stubborn), so he's late because of the stress and weight loss. and the tests came back positive because of his meds... and because he has shit luck.

he's reassured, when he hugged me i could feel he was breathing better. he felt small against me, more than usual; i hugged him back, tightly, like we always do.

i think shoko hates us. it's the first time the situation is this bad, but it's maybe the fourth time this year we're asking her for help because of pregnancy scares.

it's embarrassing how easy it's to say who her favorite sibling is, especially with all that happens between them, but talon is 100% her favorite. rip

i think the thing is cass ended up somewhat isolated from the other two, being closer to soreana than marcus, being the only one not trained to be an assassin, being the one who thrived in manipulation and social events and such.

katarina is considerably different from both her siblings, even if she shares similarities with them both. talon is her mirror, though. they're the same and they're not in so many ways and i'll avoid getting too into that because it's not the point.

it would have been so easy for her to hate him from the start — the dad she desperately wishes to get some acknowledgment from picks up a kid from the street and trains him the same as he trains her and marcus obviously favors him — but she doesn't. i sincerely feel if anything katarina would've liked having talon around. it's so much less lonely, and he understands and goes through the same sort of thing she does, to a level, certainly more than cassiopeia.

cass is very different from kat in personality, and i do think despite that they had genuine affection for each other (katarina loves both her siblings. they were pretty much the only friends she had for a long time). but the roles they were both raised for pulled them apart a little, and ultimately ended their contact with each other completely. she hasn't seen cassiopeia since they lived in shurima.

meanwhile, the comic suggests even after kat was disowned, she and talon kept in touch. he was the one who tried to kill her, and yet they got over that and she's super chill with him before the betrayal is revealed. katarina loves her brother so much. it's why being stabbed in the back with the reveal he had been lying for so long hurts her so bad.

STILL if it came to saving only one of them, i think it'd depend on the situation. she hasn't been in touch with cass for a long time, but if she thought there's salvation for her sister yet and not for talon, she'd save cass. without any context though.... yeah i think it'd be tal :/

Din Djarin on an aquarium date HEAR ME OUT!!!!! It'd be so nice and quiet between the two of you. I imagine him getting really up close to the glass to see the fishes through his visor. He'd also be a dad and want to read every bit of info available. Maybe Grogu is there and gets really into the reptiles cause they're green like him.

Most importantly, Din taking off his glove to be able to touch a stingray (or any aquatic pal of your choosing)!!!!! Talking to Grogu saying "they won't hurt you" showing him how to pet the animal

18. Name a character whose canon coming out got you really excited!

Okay, this time around, I have to go with The Owl House, but please don't make me choose between my girls, because both meant a whole lot to me.

With Amity, I really feared that the show would drag it out too long - I do like when the protagonist and the mean one get together if said mean one changes their tune within a reasonable time; usually, canon makes it last way too long. But Amity's growth was so well-paced and the way we saw her fall in love with Luz, the way we saw her struggling with wanting to express her feelings. It meant the world to me.

Same goes for Luz though. In the beginning, things seemed rather one-sided - Amity clearly had a crush on Luz, but Luz appeared like your average oblivious cheerful cartoon/anime protagonist. You know the type. So I was really, really afraid that this was gonna drag out until the very end and we'd get a last five minutes of the show kiss on the cheek and oh moment from Luz; the way cartoon rep usually goes.

But how we got to see Luz fall in love with Amity and how she came to terms with it? How she asked Amity out, but struggled with doing so?

Yes, I would like to actually hear both of them put their sexualities in words. Because we need more vocal rep, especially since the creator does have specific labels for them both and confirmed Luz as bisexual and Amity as a lesbian over on twitter (but, fun fact: twitter is not canon! Twitter is not part of the show!). So I'd love to see a proper coming out, especially now that Amity's dad knows that Amity and Luz are dating, it'd be nice if we'd get a quiet moment between them where Amity properly comes out. Or Luz with her mom, considering where they are right now in the story.

But even without it being put to words, seeing those two and their individual arcs of finding together is really, really beautiful and considering just how early in the cartoon it happened? How early we got the "yeah Amity canonically has romantic feelings for Luz!", how quickly (but not rushed!) we confirmed Luz returns those feelings, seeing them actually get together and spend an entire season now in a romantic relationship with each other?

Not just a "they hold hands in the last five seconds and you can conclude that this is supposed to be romantic!" or one quick kiss before the show ends. I've seen it, I know the way Higher Powers cut and butcher cartoons to trim down all the queer that the creators try to put in there and I was fully prepared for another session of all of that. But to see what Dana Terrace managed to push past Disney exes really, genuinely blows my mind and makes me so happy.

Elmore - older brother, 33 years old (12 years older)

Marigold 'Maria' - older sister, 29 years old (8 years older)

Romilly 'Milly' - younger sister, 17 years old (4 years younger)

He also has two nephews and a niece who he babysits often (all three are Marigold's kids):

Fletcher 'Fletch' - 9 years old

Bennet 'Benny' - 7 years old

Sage - 4 years old

Of his siblings, Osric is unquestionably closest to Marigold. He would never choose between his niece/nephews.

Luci

has one younger sister, Antigone 'Twiggy', who is 15 years old (5 years younger than him). They are very close.

Katia

Katia's relationship with both of her parents is pretty much the same. She loves her parents dearly but is not particularly close to either of them. Though they are all very clever and all three share many interests, their personalities are pretty different. Or more accurately Katia is very different to her parents (the two of them are actually pretty similar). It makes it hard for them to truly connect, but that doesn't mean they don't try. And Katia still loves her parents very much even if she doesn't see them that often.

Ettie

Ettie's mother died fairly recently, but prior to that they were very close, but not quite as close as Ettie and her father. Ettie's father is her best friend and has been since the day she was born. They love spending time together and she wouldn't be the person she is today without him.

T

Though there's no bad blood, T has a complicated relationship with their father. Their parents split up (very amicably, the two are still friends) when T was 10, and when they were 11 their father moved back to France, meaning they very rarely got to see him after that. So though they like their father very much and think he's fun to be around, he's almost more like a cool uncle figure than a dad. They're a lot closer to their mother. They don't always see eye to eye, especially because T can tell that their mother approves of Gisela's career path far more, but the two still talk and see each other often. Some of T's favourite childhood memories are the days they and Gisela used to spend in the hotel their mother works at during school breaks.
