it's been 2 months now. They have him back to an extent - he's there, they know. (Icarus doesn't. It's a repeat of Haley, a ghost hunting the corners of their mind.)

It's almost funny how, still, two months into this, nobody really knows what happened. Sure, there's some vague details known - but nobody *really* knows. (Icarus knows. Icarus has *always* known.)

Maybe there's something funny in that. How someone immediately knew during and after how and where and *when* Haley died - when they killed her - and two months (8 weeks. 56 days) after centross, nobody really knows how where or when. (Or even a proper why, for that matter - they know he died, know fable killed him, know he did it to give their family a fighting chance - but they don't know so much else. (Why Icarus was there - It's not something any of them linger on for long, but it's something constantly nagging.))

Icarus isn't doing very well, and at this point, that's just a constant. They look like shit and they feel like shit and they have since the cathedral - but there's not a lot they can do about it. (Maybe there is; tomorrow they'll ask and perhaps they shall receive.)

It's been 2 months, and for some it definitely feels like that. It's been 2 months and for others it's been a constant fight of trying to keep themself afloat. It's been 2 months, and they're barely closer to finding out *why* than they were a month ago.

When I was still in the 'unaware' phase of my attraction to women I would sometimes project my own feelings on the men around me. Like I remember I had this beautiful history teacher in middle and I would talk a lot about how all the guys in my class thought she was hot and were attracted to her. Honey. Darling. Love. I have so many headcanons that are meant to appear in hnl but idk how to write them without having to write context or having people thoroughly confused.

One major thing that's meant to be in hnl is Etho having his mask so he can actually breathe (it has an air filter), but it's never mentioned in his fox form. Like. Stress nor Xisuma are mentioned to have thought "why is this dying fox wearing a mask?" Which would be a pretty big deal, bc it would be confusing for them.

One thing I have thought abt is just. Using "shift logic" and saying Etho doesn't need it in fox form, but that doesn't quite make sense. He's meant to die within three days of breathing "normal air" so. Also thought abt plot armour, but I don't think I like that way of writing. Since I've already written 5 chapters, it's sort of abandoned for now...

Oh and one more thing: chapter four is written as if Etho was thinking of trying to "fall from a high place". What's not mentioned is that the second he was teleported to Hermitcraft, he was given the chance to respawn. So even if he did go splat, he would've just respawned and given himself away, bc 1) the death message would have his name in it, 2) Xisuma/Stress would be very confused to have lost a fox, just to have them respawn in front of their face (which is NOT normal for a regular fox) and 3) Doc/Cleo would have forced whoever was hiding him to let them see him.

Undyne very much is, and is going to throw everything she has at the man threatening her friends--spears, punches, and Gaster. Whatever it takes, she's determined to win.

silly headcannon #2 that Bruce never got the reference that Jason always made of himself being short round (he always thought it was Jason saying he was short) until after he died and Tim, avid Indiana Jones fan made Bruce watch the movies with him, only the man breaks out crying., sobbing, full on breaking down over the two second scene that is Indy ruffling Short Round’s hair as he explains they first met when he caught the kid stealing from him, and then took him under his wing.
