Guys while hallucinating on my new meds, I came to the realization that Mihawk was out on the open seas as swordsman since he was a teenager maybe even younger…. Did he ever finish a normal education?

Scratch that did he even have a normal education? Does he know math? Can my guy tell me the quadratic formula? Like I think we all forget as individuals how much school taught us yes the school system is broken blah blah but guys we understand germ theory and how birds fly and chemistry and biology that people just 60 years ago wouldn’t have known and would have killed to know, like I’m sure he can write and I’m pretty sure he can read but does he know how the moon pulls the tide? Did he know the earth wasn’t flat until he saw a globe for the first time?

Have we as individuals been bamboozled by the stoic gothic refinement of luxury that Mihawk projects we completely overlooked they fact the guy probably doesn’t know salt is a rock? Like wanna bet he saw how cool the over the top refined gay goth was and just like tailored that too his vibe but he’s never actually read a classic in his life?

What I’m trying to get at is Shanks who grew up around some of the smartest people in the world who spoke multiple languages, one was a doctor and you know Rayliegh who definitely doubled as a quartermaster might have a higher education then Mihawk.

Like I think it would be funny if Shanks was the guy who read books on Philosophy and artistic historical movements throughout the world (cough to impress Mihawk cough) and Mihawk doesn’t know how fish breathe underwater and has never read anything higher the a YA novel. (Which are awesome books but talk about reading a book by its cover! Lol… I’ll see myself out.)

i get side eyeing twn for choosing radovid as the love interest but being preemptively mad about it and bringing up game radovid is a bit silly since game radovid and book radovid are two different characters and i bet show radovid is gonna be an entirely different character too. the show already made changes to his character by aging him up, prince radovid is a kid who was partly raised by philippa in the books and then gets like three mentions in lady of the lady that’s like “he would go down in history as radovid the stern” and that’s IT. everything else about his character is made up by CDPR and the show is once again not adapting the games so being mad at them for using a book character is just very ??

today my professor (not hot one) personally called me out of class, and asked me if i could drive his car back to his house (??) from the airport (about an hour away), and basically ride with him and his FAMILY on the way there. i said no bc it’s kinda a far drive and i don’t know his car and that may just stress me out. but now that i think about it…do you guys think that’s like weird? he asked personally for me….idk man. i am a paranoid person so tell me ur thoughts pls LOL

I’m sorry but why am I always the one who has to make the plans when it comes to hanging out with friends? Not to sound like a bitch but I’m literally the only one who makes any effort to reach out and plan something with my friends and lately it’s been kinda draining and lonely. Why am I always the one who has to put in the effort? Why am I the one who has to suggest that we hang out? Like I’m always the one who texts first and asks to see them and it’s never the other way around, ever. If I don’t ask for us to hang out then we don’t hang out.

I know I’m nobody’s first choice, but is it too much to ask to be a choice at all?

Whumpee has no idea how long they’ve been in the shower.

They should get out, dry off, and go to bed. Stop wasting precious water and time staring holes through the white tile wall.

But the pain is unbearable.

The only thing that had helped so far was aiming the blistering water at their aches and pains. They weren’t sure if the heat helped soothe them or simply gave them a different pain as a distraction, one they could control.

Time was running out, and so was the hot water. Any minute now Caretaker would be at the door, scolding them for wasting all the water.

Just one more minute, they thought over and over again, just another minute then I’ll be fine.

On the other side of the bathroom door was a bed that would hurt to lay in, sheets too hot and too cold at the same time, and hours of silent stillness.

They wanted to sleep. God, they needed to so badly, but it hurt too much. Every time they moved, no matter how they laid or sat or stood…pain.

They clung to fleeting moments of moderate comfort, where they could position themselves just right. But it never lasted.

A timid knock brought them out of their spiral.

“Whumpee? Are you okay in there?”

The question made tears form in their eyes.

No, no they weren’t, why did everything hurt to much? How could they be in so much pain?
