hi lmao. Thanks xD. I usually try to keep all my negativity off of the internet, but last night I was going the anti Tim drake tag bc my frustration was flaring up. At first i was collecting posts by liking them instead of rb, then I was replying, and then at some point... “Fuck it. I want this on my blog.”

(This is gonna be a ramble btw, I don’t care abt making a good post rn.)

I used to be fine with Tim! I think the whole thing was a lot less prominent in the dpxdc fandom bc DANNY was the fan favorite/community elected woobie, but then I kinda moved out and... well. It still took awhile for this issue to seep in bc those Tim fans (you know the ones) are certainly a minority, but I just don’t think you can be a Damian fan for longer than a few months without getting frustrated.

Nowadays I refuse to read anything tagged with any variation of “Tim Drake angst” that features the batfam. Timkon fics are usually just fine though.

Actually— recently? Shit’s been bothering me so bad that I don’t wanna risk reading fics that have Tim in the first relationship tag at all. He’s gotta at most be in the second one. Ship fics are again an exception, but I don’t tend to seek out ship fics much anyway.

But, like I said, I usually keep it to myself. Every time i catch myself venting in the tags I either screenshot the tags and delete, or I delete and retype them. I put them into a private notes document. I also journal in there a lot instead of posting it.

That document is pretty long.

I do wanna say that there’s nothing wrong with what tim fans are doing. It is fun to woobify your fave. It’s fun to prop them up and tear others down and make everything about your blorbo and it is harmless. I do it too (usually in my daydreams). It’s a fantasy, and that’s what fanfiction is for. People who act like it’s “problematic” are wrong. That doesn’t mean it’s not annoying. Because it is. It’s annoying as all fuck.

Also wanna mention that I once read a damian fic that like... started off with some delicious whump, but then it turned into a whole Damian pity party and it guilt tripped all his friends and family. Damian IS my blorbo and I couldn’t read that. I didn’t even know who Maps was at the time but it seemed so bizarre to throw her under the bus. Anyway I feel like that’s what a quite large portion of Tim fic is like except a bit less extreme.

I used to tell myself that “ohhh it’s just a rivalry. I’m sure Tim fans get the same shit in reverse all the time” but I literally NEVER see it in the other direction and spend the most of my time in Damian circles. The only time I see tim hate from damian fans is frustration at those particular fans in response to it or in response to favoritism of authors.

I mean i saw a good chunk of it last night, but what else can I expect from the anti tim drake tag?

It’s actually funny how most of the stuff in anti tags is polarized hate shitting on the character with a lot of bad takes, but in tims anti tag it was almost exclusively frustration from Damian and Jason fans, and usually pretty mild takes. Also people calling Tim boring.

Ngl, Idk much about Jason. I’m familiar with his fanon, but the only comic i’ve read that featured him in a major way was Gotham War. I don’t know him well, and I don’t have too much interest in him. However, I hate “Jason falls over in guilt and kisses Tim’s fingers begging for forgiveness” type posts in solidarity. It’s yucky.

We got @itmeanspeace Shiloh, this one started off just plain physical until she became attached, lol look at me talk as if Yusuke didn't catch feelings too..probably first since he's still kinda technically a human. Give it up for @swordsxandxsakuras Nezuko, the first one to actually go the full nine yards with him to dating all the way down to married with kids. Then there's my homie @fatexbound Chie I wouldn't CALL it a relationship yet but they're definitely in that phase in getting to know one another. You know I gotta put my home girl @adversitybloomed Mulan, who's probably seen everything there is to who Yusuke is as a character, she's been with him as a pervert all the way to him being nice and doing stuff for people. I got good ships and there's even this unhealthy one right here with my girl @acoldsovereign Maiz, tons of ships starts with curiosity, cute moments and even love at first sight and this one is just violence, one devil often tries to get the other devil to dig into those natural urges and forsake his human heart (that literally isn't even working anymore) and just behave like a demon, there's also acts of public terrorism but he'd punch her right..and she'd kick him wrong, it's a tug and pull with 'em. Patton was the first one to realise the general rule for what Remus biting things means. Like, when he bites a person, it's fine, it's chill, it's affection. When he bites a bit of furniture, it means he's likely stressed, and it's best to check up on him.

Remus is surprisingly keen when it comes to in-depth conversations about the mindsets of morally grey fictional characters, and it really caught Patton by surprise. Remus has his favourite horror characters in a list of who is most interesting for him to phyco analyse, and when Patton offhandedly said that Jigsaw was an awful person, he was almost immediately hit with a full 70 page document worth info dump about the different ways to view Jigsaw as a character.

Patton sometimes gets really flustered around Janus and gets tongue-tied. When this happens, Remus will walk up next to him, ask him if he needs some help expressing himself, and then pull out one of those buttons that says nut when pushed. Patton's responses range from even more embarrassment to an amused face palm.

Remus is very clingy, but not in a constant hug kinda way, but in a will crawl around you while you go about your life like the feral little creature he is.

U!Sides is unsympathetic sides, meaning the sides themselves are portrayed in ways that make them unsympathetic towards the readers, or they take unsympathetic actions. I'm not comfortable with that, so I don't want those head canons on this blog!

Whump is like angst, but to the extreme? Usually it deals with a character being in an unforgiving and brutal environment of some sort (manipulative relationship, extended periods of abuse, things like that. Think hurt/no comfort [Not exactly that, but most of the time that's how it ends up whenever I read it.]). Some whump I'm fine with as long as none of the sides are Unsympathetic, and others I'm not, but that line varies depending on my mental state at the time so it would be a bit exhausting to put a list down. (Just realized I've been spelling whump wrong this whole time, I'll fix that shortly).

Also I love these headcanons so much! Patton would definitely get tongue tied around Janus XD. And Remus is so sweet in his own way, I love these!!!

And Yes! I love sides biting each other out of love head canons!

Travel Blog - Dokomi 2024 - Sunday

Last day of Dokomi, and last travel Blog. A completely new character to premiere... Howard Link! I had very unexpected meetings and the time was running out so fast as it was also... travel day.

As always my day started super early, I had to park my car at the local grocery store as the parking lot of the hotel was full the evening before. Therefore I went there in pouring rain to hope to move the car closer now as I didn't want to carry my luggage through rain.

While I was at that... yes... I checked my engine in full cosplay and also bought a pretzel JUST FOR THE JOKE that Link is german and seriously what is more german than a german pretzel?

Again quite early I left for the con, it was still raining but I got a good parking spot bc it was so early. I decided to leave the coat on as it was not that cold but with the rain it would cool down more and Link only had that longsleeve... so... stealing Nea's coat here.

I decided just to run around a bit before the halls opened I didn't have much hope to be recognized as Link is a rather unknown character here, the series never got a release of the second season here not to mention Hallow was just randomly streamed, the Manga is treated very poorly by the publisher and yeah... it's not a well known series anymore.

So paint me surprised that mere minutes after entering the area I came across kyomaru_ko (IG) who just right away asked "ARE YOU HOWARD LINK" and I was so baffled by that, we chatted over 30 minutes and wow, it was so so nice to meet you. Please let me know if you really plan to do a Noah Cosplay Group again I am so in for that TAT

This was the whole vibe of my day to be honest, it gave me so much positive energy. Wow.

Next up was exploring the gaming hall and the j-fashion hall. I stumbled upon Dollce's booth and saw increble work across the hall.

Then I found the other booth, the one with the BJD Eyes. I just said "Hi" and the vendor said "Hi" and then we eyed each other for like .. a minute without saying anything. And her helper was like "wtf is wrong with you two" ... then she asked me if I was Seiji and I was "... yes" and then I finally had a second to progress the crafts and of course. The vendor is my very dear friend Sarah. I haven't seen her since 2019 and wow. I am still so happy I was able to see her again and I am sad I didn't take a photo WITH her. We talked very long and I asked her how she recognized me (I changed a lot since we saw each other and I was in Cosplay.. I mean I was blonde when we saw each other in Lübeck but Cosplay is Cosplay) and she said "... it was your beautiful brown eyes" .. I almost cried. The day overall was so wonderful already and this was the sugar on the cream. Really.

I then finally got to eat my morning snack. I tried Taiyaki the first time :D I was not that brave to choose a exciting filling... went for Nutella XD sometimes simple things are good.

The rest of the day was just me vibing here and there, i checked out some more of the halls, finally visited the friends/artists I got to know at the alley for the day, fetched my last bubble tea ...

and then went to the park. Time was passing so fast...

Still can't get over how pretty that park is, seriously.

Met some friend again and even FINALLY the people I was looking for on friday. I learned there was another Lavi and on Friday even a Mana ... which would have been perfect as I was Nea. But we decided to just arrange a meeting point the next time.

But I found a Cross (Hizashi.kun (IG)) and short before I left I found scarlett (Allen from the LBM) aaaaand Alice <3

The day was ending soon I settled down with another snack to end the day before a long drive home. It was a roll with veggies, hummus and the like, it was not very filling though :') but I still had my little snack box and the cinnamon roll so I decided it was enough.

I opened up the blind boxes before I left though as I was curious which I got (oh and watched a little perfomance before I found Alice).

And I GOT EXACTLY the ones I wanted to have??? Wow?? Like?? The Cabbage and Pumpkin dog and then the Clown on the carousel horse. i am usually not that much into the blind boxes but I tasked myself in buying something every day.

I quickly got the wig off then and headed home. Ate inbetween in the car and the overall drive went quicker than on the way to the con ... if it wasn't for the fact there was another construction side and I needed 5 hours... again.

I made a stop for some fries and a mc flurry (yes I was just curious how the white twix one is as I don't have a McD/have to drive 20 minutes for one).

The last thing that day was unloading the car and just fall into bed. The day after I lasted until 10 then i felt how dead beat I was and I just tried to somehow survive, good thing I had it off.

If I go for another time I surely need to get back on monday, this was originally my plan but due the Euro Cup hotel rooms were expensive af and there was two matches in Düsseldorf on Monday... I didn't need that.

Overall this was a beautiful convention I didn't have a single bad mental health moment (aside that quick scare with the claw), I didn't feel alone as I was able to send VMs to my friends, I had the courage to do so many things and had quite the confidence boost in several regards.

What a beautiful way to end the first half of the con season for the year. I have 4 more to attend.

The next one will be the Nipponcon in Bremen and I have already teamed up with KandaxMusa to do a partner cosplay there.

KM Discord Server

As a POC (SE Asian) who was also dogpiled on a much a smaller scale in another discord server, and as one who'd witnessed in real time the events that unfolded in December 2023 in the KM discord server, I think the one thing that's been lost in all this chaos and drama is the human decency of giving people the benefit of the doubt.

And for a little background, here's my experience: I reblogged a post on my blog and ranted about a few headcanons that I don't agree with in the tags. Some people read my tags, and concluded from that one post that I'm an outright ableist. Mind you, it was one day, and one post when I had absolutely no filter. Yet still, in which case, the conclusion drawn about me was fair, since in retrospect, I see where I went wrong. Again, I was frustrated for one day in that post and did not think of my tone whatsoever. I face the repercussions of that misjudgment today. For the record, just because I'm a POC, it doesn't mean that I'm immune to hurting other people, no matter the fact that that was never my intention. I did hurt certain individuals with that one damn post and the tags I wrote, and I'll be apologetic and remorseful about it for a long time. But having said that, I'd honestly expected certain people in this fandom to be mature enough to reach out in private first and ask for some clarifications, not to be immediately gossiped about in the discord server we were a part of. On top of that, besides that one incident, I hadn't even realized there was already growing resentment towards the metas I've written for KP/Kimchay, besides one of the few times I brought up personal frustrations I experienced as a POC. Lol

From what I've noticed with this incident in the KM server as well as the small discord server I was a part of, when POC share their own cultural context and understanding of something, not just the piece of media for which is the reason why we were all there in the first place, the knee-jerk reaction for most westerners are almost always to think of those things as "fandom policing."

In fact, in a separate conversation from my experience, one of them even said, "it's not so much about culture!" LOLOL To have that sentiment hurled towards me, while I was speaking of my frustrations of when culture erasure takes place in conversations of certain topics, while the conversation took place in a discord server meant to celebrate an Asian piece of queer media…was quite an experience. XD Goodness, I can only wonder what it's like to be able to have the privilege to say that so easily. That's all I'll say. Ha~

Yet still, from my own point of view, do I call the people who hurt me “individuals with a colonizer mindset” and that other word that’s hanging around right now and unsaid, just because of these few incidents? My knee-jerk reaction is to say yes, considering I wasn't even given a chance to explain myself, but I'll clamp that knee-jerk reaction down as much as I can, because despite everything, I still personally think the KM discord server and that other discord server still did more good than bad (not by much though), in the grand scheme of things. Those servers allowed for some instances of astounding cross-cultural communication (even if it also allowed rampant western ignorance to thrive), and for what it's worth, there are still good people in this community, despite everything.

And at the end of the day, who am I to hurl hurtful labels towards those who'd hurt me, when I hardly even knew them in the first place (two of them I never even talked to, LOL), and I know to myself that they meant no harm at the end of the day. Even if they certainly didn’t hesitate to throw the label “ableist” at me without a second thought.

It's a serious thing to throw a label like that at someone, even if my own experience as a POC who was dogpiled on by a number of westerners...hmm, let's stop that train of thought.

Getting back on track. Even still, these opinions I hold won't erase the experiences of other POC members in this fandom and in the KM discord server, the hurt they've experienced, nor can I speak for any one of them.

I think the bad habit of knee-jerk reactions—specifically the knee-jerk reaction of those wanting to protect the KM discord server in the way that's perceived to result in the least amount of drama, the gut instinct to not want to be caught in the crossfire, the conscious choice to tolerate such things, for the sake of preserving the safe space that one has left—is pretty much what's dominating the behaviors of people responsible right now.

The mods who run such servers like the KM server and others like it—they're not perfect, but I would have at least expected from them to be more open and proactive to the concerns of its POC members. Perhaps it's too much to expect that they would be equipped to handle very sensitive issues as the ones its POC members experienced, but damn...the bar is quite low, even just to meet the minimum.

And that's the most frustrating thing, to be honest. All this time, in all these various situations for those who’ve spoken out, it's the POC members of the community who are ALWAYS the ones who are pressured to having to give people the benefit of the doubt, to have to be careful of what they say, but NOWHERE in these situations is that sentiment even remotely returned to POC.

It was the POC members affected by the incident in December who had to remain patient with the mods, it was the POC members who had to face the backlash of negativity that happened, it’s the POC members of the community who’ve had to face the accusations of fandom policing, it’s the POC members of the community who have to face daily micro aggressions in this fandom, when all we’ve done is express opinions and our viewpoints.

At the end of the day, it’s POC members of the community who face the repercussions of having spoken out, yet the rest of the westerners in this community have the damn luxury to walk away, unscathed, to think to themselves that they did nothing wrong.

So I’ll be blunt this one time: yes, for the most part, there are good people in this fandom, there are. But even so, not a single one of us here is perfect, we’re all human.

I'm thinking you mean this part of my rules warning about content on this blog? (Totally correct me if I'm wrong!!)

I mixed some real world topics regarding witches and the perception people have of them into the lore I made for my own witches.

I meant this as: I utilized the perception people throughout history have towards witches, the accusations towards women (specifically), the actuality of what women (specifically) who were accused of witchcraft were doing. There are some aspects of folklore and historical things but it's more of a timeline or to play into types of witches that exist. Not a means to build lore upon it. If that makes sense?

CUTTING CAUSE IT GOT LONG OOPS.

I designed a specific lore for Mortem's canon story she's a part of. The first thing to know is Mortem isn't on the original Earth. She's a sixth generation witch whose bloodline does date back to the original Earth, however. Half of her ancestors hailed from Ireland! Specifically the first three of her ancestors lived and died there, the fourth (her grandmother) lived almost half her life there before she was forced to the version of Earth that Mortem calls home today.

The third generation witch, Maeveen, lived during the 5th century Ireland and frequently traveled between England and Scotland as well. Intentionally she sparked some of the Arthurian Legends, adding some flair and magic into a world that lacked fantastical things outside of witches and some other natural forces. It backfired in many ways when others began promoting and rewriting her tales and stories to fit a narrative that continued to subjugate witches and what not as heretics.

That being said, the main themes I utilize about witches throughout history is their practice coming from a scientific angle and being denounced by various parties. Witches in my lore are often accused by others of 'witchcraft' as being magic, when it isn't inherently that.

Given what witches are in my lore (forces of nature that abide a purpose but also possess mortal souls to act as a balance between mortals and immortals) they have their own way of being, their own culture amongst their kind that only they understand. Which is to be expected, of course. But naturally the themes of rejecting religion (for themselves, personally - some witches may outright express disdain, others don't care about mortals' beliefs), going against what was meant to be commonplace for gender roles (witches a predominantly female due to oppression igniting their wills to become witches - but bloodlines carried down have given birth to male witches, too).

I mostly tried to stay shallow on historical events because it felt more respectful that way. But borrowing from folklore across Ireland, England, Scotland and later (vaguely) parts of Salem regarding beliefs, cruelty and just general timeline stuff to help establish some continuity for Mortem's bloodline specifically.

Given that witches in my lore live to be about 1200 naturally (though Maeveen and Mortem are the two to go beyond due to spells they forged), so you can probably imagine how long this bloodline dates back if Maeveen was considering young in the 5th century. xD

A lot of early accusations just centered around a witch's desire to not conform. Possessing strong wills. Her first three and a half ancestors fought in the various witch hunts that took place throughout history. Maeveen specifically fought the majority of them and her daughter did as well before she was eventually thrown off-world. Those parts of history I found important to keep though I didn't want to dive into the details of them too much. I wrote instead fictional encounters, trials, battles, etc.

In terms of folklore, I borrowed from all over to help give me a range of what a witch's purpose could mean. From being something more mundane, like a healer or alchemist, to being a witch of a more demanding purpose (like Mortem). Their abilities ranging from being basically a glorified farmer that can maybe heal crops better, brew better potions, to witches that can possess an ungodly amount of power. We see plenty of historical accusations of witches committing offenses like theft to sometimes the most silliest of accusations. And in folklore, we have witches who are seen less as mortals and more as creatures or deities to some degree. So I wanted that full range of perception because a witch can be absolutely anything. The only common factor is possessing a will so strong it breaks the confinement of common mortality.

Name's FadeBolt, but feel free to call me Fade. (Yes, that is the name of a DotA ability. No, I did have more creative name ideas, I just did stuff under this one, so I'm sticking with it)

~ I'm an anxious 21 year old Hungarian wreck that is currently doing college in the northern parts of this small hellhole in the middle of nowhere that we call Serbia.

~ I like to gush and ramble about media. I like to interact with media. I like to make stuff about media. I like to look at, and take part in stuff that other people make about media.

~ Most of this blog is about my hyperfixation that has lasted for almost two entire years by this point, which is, you guessed it - Rain World.

~ Obviously, I still like other stuff (most notably Warcraft 3, as well as League of Legends and its wonderful lore/universe), and I might make posts about them on some occasions, but they're not my main interests, and considering how much I've entrenched myself in the RW community, that likely won't change anytime soon.

~ I don't really have a central thing that I intended for this blog. It's just simply - if I get ideas and I like them enough, then I'll do them. And if I stumble into something that really peaked my interest, or if I feel like I could add something onto it, then I'm reblogging it. (Though I do have a bit of an anxiety over that, cus whenever I reblog something, I always feel bad for the stuff I didn't reblog, but I can't just keep reblogging everything all day every day, so I often end up not reblogging good stuff. Help me. Please xd)

~ But the main things that you can expect here are long writings about my opinions, (mostly) fun drawing, voiceovers, and occasional ramblings about stuff.

~ I want this to be abundantly clear - I really value constructive criticism, no matter how unsolicited it might be. So if I said something you don't agree with, made a mistake somewhere, or just have some general issues with my stuff, don't be afraid to point them out. (Just make sure that it is actually constructive. The goal here is to improve, but there's not really much I could take away from something like "Your art sucks" or "Your opinions are stupid", is there?)

~ Due to recent, uhm... let's just call them 'events', I want to note that online discussions around politics and stuff related to that makes me extremely stressed and uncomfortable, especially after seeing what Tumblr can do to people who said stuff most folks didn't like.

~ This doesn't mean I'm making a strict 'no politics' rule or anything, I'm just looking to minimalize that stuff, and preferably keep it in private 1 on 1 conversations where I won't feel like I'm being judged by hordes of onlookers. This applies to any other contentious topic, too.

~ Unlike a lot of folks, I will not be having a DNI list. I know that this sounds a bit weird, but I want this space to be nice and happy and welcoming, and I do believe that media should be used as a way to unite us in spite of our differences (so this idea of saying "If you have these political opinions I don't like, then GTFO!" just doesn't sit right with me, though I completely understand why some people do that).

I also believe that instead of locking out and trashing on people who said and did stuff we didn't like, we should instead try and help make them understand why that stuff is wrong, so they can learn and grow, because people can indeed change for the better, especially with how many young folks are roaming around on this website. I won't force any of you to hold yourselves to these ideals, but I will stay true to them myself.

~ With that being said: I am not tolerating problematic stuff or asshole behavior here. I'll be somewhat lenient on this, but "I want this space to be nice and happy and welcoming" will always take priority over avoiding being judgemental of others. Just please don't bother me with stuff that's obviously messed up, don't be a cunt, and don't send NSFW my way, that's all I'm asking.

Oh, that's a good one! See, I'm not an enormous fan of canonical crossovers. I like them in stories, art, fandom fun times, what have you, but for them to canonically crossover, I feel like things just need to be... right. And I can't think of anything that really matches the Tangled mood enough to be right, you know? Either it's the wrong time period, or it's too magical/not magical enough, or whatever. Those always make me feel like the characters ought to spend more (read: too much) time questioning everything instead of getting plot done.

That being said, I have personally crossed TTS over with Xiaolin Showdown, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Encanto, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many other things! XD

With as dark as it is, and as frequently as they put her against a dark background, she just... blends in, her silhouette undefined. Look at her, just a head floating about on its own. Also, it feels a really really lot like they put her in a skintight bodysuit just cause it's hot, and not because it serves any logical purpose, you know? That doesn't work for me.

When his brother was born, it was Theseus who decided that “Newton” was too toplofty a name for such a shy, quiet child. He started calling him “Newt” and somehow this nickname stuck with him when they grew older and Newton didn’t shed this certain awkwardness he had already possessed as a child.

Some things changed, though. It has been a long time since Newt referred to his brother as “Thes”.

My #1 post of 2022

Just watched SoD, it's almost 4 am and I am happy and overwhelmed. Here are just some first impressions in the order that come to my mind, so massive spoilers below the cut!!

Newt is the sweetest and kindest human being this world has ever known.

Jacob too!

I seriously thought for a few seconds Jacob would become Supreme Mugwump. XD (It would have been really epic though.)

Basically everything Jacob said was hilarious, I just love him so much!!!

Mads Mikkelsen just was so so so so so good! Of course Grindelwald had much more screen time than in the previous films so it was easier, but still he managed to bring a depth and some kind of ... likeability to Grindelwald's character. I liked that very much.

I also appreciate how clear they made that Dumbledore was in love with Grindelwald (Although this can't be called a secret, really. :D)

Albus had no secrets left, it was really about Aberforth?!?! Whew, I mean, I thought it could be coming, but still ...

Also: What's wrong with the Dumbledores? Ariana is an Obscurus, Aberforth's son is an Obscurus ... And how did both brothers manage to make such grave mistakes in only one summer?

I don't feel like after everything that happened in SoD, Aberforth has the right to still be so angry and cold against Albus (as shown in HP).

Newt was really lucky he wasn't killed in his first scene. :0

In general I was surprised by the really lighthearted tone of the film - even in the more dramatic scenes I was never really afraid someone would die.

THIS FILM HAD WIZARDS ON ROOFTOPS, I AM HAPPY.

Newt was so happy and excited so many times, so I am very happy and excited now!!! How cute was it when he met Lally and they were basically both fangirling about each other???

Newt saying "She is" when talking about Tina, omg!!! And them finally meeting again!!! (Damn Lally, bad timing!!!!)

I'm not really content with the explanation they gave for Tina's absence, though. I mean, Theseus is head auror too, and he seems to be able to go and do where/what he wishes.

Can we talk about the wide grin on Theseus face when he witnessed just how much in love Newt was in the end?? Maybe that's even my favourite moment! Him just being so happy for Newt and looking out for him and EVERYONE BEING HAPPY FOR A CHANGE!!!

Ok, maybe my favourite scene was Jacob being happy and closing his eyes so he won't see Queenie before the wedding ceremony and he's GETTING MARRIED TO QUEENIE AAAAHHHHH!!! I must say I had lost hope for the two of them!

Will Newt and Tina kiss offscreen now?!?!?

Dumbledore, whyyyy didn't you go into the bakery? Isn't it actually a bit impolite to just wait around in the street and walk away??

Newt practising his speech as best man *-* I love it how clumsy he was during every situation he was in a kind of leading position.

How did Aberforth and Credence establish the mirror connection???

I'm a bit confused and so, so tired.

How did Aberforth even find out Credence was his son??

Maybe Credence doesn't have to die. We know that Newt can separate an Obscurus from its host, so maybe he can save him?

Wtf they did break the blood pact by ACCIDENT???? NOOOO, I'm not happy with that!!! That's to ... easy and random.

Just for the record, snow is not the usual weather in Berlin (but then there always seems to be snow everywhere in the FB films XD). I rather liked wizarding Germany btw. The architecture and the little details like the signs and the stamps (a cliché that always works because it's funny and also still true I'm afraid).

The scene with Theseus and Newt in prison was a bit random but super funny, so I'll allow it. XD But I'm still disturbed that they just stunned Theseus and dragged him away and everyone was like ... it's alright, we can look for him later. (It's also not very healthy to hang upside down, but Thesues can manage it ... because. Because he's epic and very handsome and I like him very much.)

The brothers finally, finally bonding!!! Not talking, though. But who needs to talk anyway.

Bunty was great! I'm happy that she was not helpless in her love. She's still in love with Newt and he has no clue and she knows it's in vain, but she's not jealous or bitter but makes a deliberate decision to help. She definitely deserves more credit.

Spring 2023 Anime Season

Hey guys.

So, I will take over this blog to write about the animes that I'll watch this spring season:

Here is a list of all the shows that caught my attention and where I'll be watching:

Eternal Boys- I know this anime premiered in 2022; however HIDIVE just added the first season to their platform so I am just hearing about this. Everything related to older men will get my attention, add to the mix a story about second opportunities and I'm sold. As I said before, this aniem is available on HIDIVE.

Hell's Paradise- I mean, It's MAPPA. That is enough to get anyone's attention, the studio that has made Yuri On Ice, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack On Titan and Chainsaw Man is not done with exploiting its workers and will add another jewel to the crown; If you only have the chance to watch an anime this season, choose this one. You can wath it legally on Crunchyroll.

Tengoku Daimakyou- I just saw the first episode on Starz+ and I see a mix of elements from the promised neverland and the last of us in this story, It definitely left hanging from the cliff of my chair at some moments of the first episode so if you want to feel anxious this might be your go to anime of the season.

Ranking of Heroes The Chest of Courage- I mean, season one is a masterpiece; averything about this anime worked so well on season one that it´s almost impossible for season two to be just OK, so yeah, of course I'm gonna be watching this anime on Crunchyroll.

My Home Hero- I literally just added this beacause I have a thing for middle aged men in suits, but after I watched the first episode I can tell you that this is actualy the first episode of any anime that has aired on this year that completely captured me, maybe it's because my country suffers from a lot of misoginy, or because I relate so well with the protective instincts when a family member is in danger, or maybe because when I was a child my parents let me watch all the seasons of Desperate Housewives so I'm used to watching this sort of storie play out. But boy oh boy this was super fun to watch, I really hope that it continues being this great. Oh, you can watch this on crunchyroll btw.

Mashle - TBH I don´t know anything about this anime other than the aesthetic is looking very harry potter-ish and I'm here for it so I only hope it delivers on that; if the story and the animations are good it will be a plus. This will be legally available on Crunchyroll.

Magical Destroyers- I mean, look at the character design. I just find the story so appealing, specially with everything that is happening around the globe right now; This anime has so many ways of going completely wrong but If the production team get it right, It has potential to be the hidden jewel of the spring season. This anime will be available on crunchyroll.

KONOSUBA AN EXPLOSION ON THIS WONDERFUL WORLD- It's Konosuba, so the laughs are guaranteed. Not much to say other than you can watch it legally on Crunchyroll.

Dr. Stone New World- TBH I don't understand why is this show not huge. I love the character design and the story is very innovative for a manga that's published on Shonen Jump. Watch it on Crunchyroll folks, seriously, you will laugh, cry and get very excited over these fellas.

Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village- The anime of the season. If you don't watch KNY you are the definition of a hermit. Also Obviously this will be availabe on Crunchyroll.

Golden Kamuy Season 4- This anime has a chokehold on me, from the representation of a culture that the japanese Government has tried to erase in the past, to the complexity of the characters and the INCREASINGLY homoerotic moments tha the author carefully administrates throughout the story (the author even gave us a ranking of dicks for all the male characters XD) It really is a joy to watch this anime and I wish more people showed some love.

It is I again ... :)

Well, I actually forgot about the existence of this blog, it has been ... 5 years? Is that possible? That sounds like a lot, it's scary how much of my life has already passed.

I am yet again depressed and disassociated. This time I also packed an eating disorder with me, so it's not all the same boring routine... Splendor at it's finest.

A year and a half ago or so I started university and honestly, I hate university. I have very few friends there and one of them forgot about me the second she got better so I decided to cut her off, to not feel the shame of being used. The other one is also quite mentally ill to be honest and she also suffers from an ed, which makes it hard for me to interact with her as someone trying her best to recover. I recently had a lapse (or relapse? I can never understand what's more appropriate and calling it relapse just feels like I am bragging for attetion) and when I decided I'd stop it and try to recover again, I had to bring the time I spend interacting with her to a minimum. Maybe some people will call me selfish, but do I care? If you were in my shoes, you'd talk differently. People's hate is just the cost of making your own decisions about life it seems.

On another note, I am going to therapy, yay. I also went to this ed treatment center when things got bad with eating and I am still going there in secret from my family.

Now that I mentioned therapy, there is one thing I really want to write here. It happened almost a year ago already, but it honestly still haunts me. Maybe I am too dramatic idk, people have it way worse...but this is MY note so I can write whatever I want right... xd

Well, when I became anorexic about 2 years ago, I sought out a therapist. She was recommended to me by my friend I mentioned above with whom I no longer interact. It was an old woman, 60+, very short, but this person had something so unsettling about her, Charlie, that you entered the room she'd sit in with a feeling of being somehow tried by a figure of immense evil. I felt something was strange about her quite early on, but this lady charged very little for her services and I am a poor student, so I didn't want to give it up... Until one time. She'd often make weird remarks about how pretty I am, asked me who had green eyes, if my mom or dad, I believe it was already on the first or second session... I felt weird, but decided to overlook it. She then later on kept mentioning another client of hers, telling me that I could meet him and talk to him as we both have a history of living with a very manipulative grandfather. I assumed she meant calling him to one of our sessions and having this weird group therapy. Well, I was wrong. One day she asked me if I've ever had a boyfriend - I haven't yet, so I told her no. She acted as if this was a problem - what a total c*nt tbh :^) - but anyway, she then later in the session mentioned him again and kept saying that he is old, way older than me. I felt weird, so I asked how old? And she replied: "Quite old." ??? red flags, I know, but well, I made her tell me he was 34 or so. I don't exactly remember. Well, she said again that we have to meet up, me and him. I was like mhm she probably means some different time. No. At the end of our sessions someome rang her bell and she replied: "*his name*, come in" I was scared, even though still trying to convince myself that nothing is wrong. Well, I wanted to leave, but the witch literally stood in front of the door and wouldn't let me. The man appeared at the doorstep. She told him he should take me for a ride somewhere in his car at the weekend and asked him if he had time - he said well yes. Then she asked me if I wanted to go and I felt so scared by that time - but I managed to say I'll think about it. Well, after this happened, I was mortified and I ended up ending everything with her.

This scared me so much, Charlie. I don't tell people about it anymore, but sometimes I see an old woman outside who faintly resembles her and get a shiver of dread up my spine. Sometimes the memories of her just come to me as flashbacks and I feel dirty. I felt dirty after this happened to be honest, even though nothing really happened to me. I guess I felt strangely exploited and objectified. I came to her for help but she did this thing...for what? God knows.

On another note, lately I am obsessing over a certain anime character and its weirdly healing me even though I am still feeling very bad. He is not a good person, but I relate to him a lot for some reason.

I also write a lot, Charlie, my stories are probably the only thing that genuinely makes me happy to be myself. I also try to draw when I can.

Well, this is all the brain vomit I can think of for today.

{out of breath} Awww, never say never, though, honestly. Just because it's unlikely, doesn't mean it can't still happen in some way. And even if it doesn't, we'll still have lots of fun regardless! Listen, over on one of my other blogs, I had a muse I thought was completely unshippable because he's very difficult to deal with, he's been through a of traumatic experiences that have left him with some pretty bad, violent, and isolating coping mechanisms, and he has trust issues and finds it almost impossible to open up to people. He met a cute little waitress in a diner, she stuck with him and didn't let him push her away, and the rest is history. I kid you not, they ended up being a solid and sweet ship and I'm just here confused by it but loving it, haha. I thought I was never going to ship him with anyone. So... muses can be unpredictable. And really, whether we think it's likely or not, I'm all for letting it play out however it goes. Like I said, it'll be fun regardless!

But yes, if Pietro can manage to avoid pissing Rocket off to the point that he wants to just bite his face off, haha, then they could become some solid dudebros together. They're both irreverent, defensive people with good hearts, so... they have more in common than they think.

Me: "Good thing we're only talking about friendship, here, because I shudder to think what your romantic ship name would have been with Rocket otherwise."

Pietro: *shrugs* "What? He wants to play, let him play."

Quill: *claps his hands together* "OUTLET!" *cheers for himself* "Did I win?"

Rocket: "Yeah, you won the dumbass of the year award. Great job. Very thorough."

Quill: "Cool, do I get a prize?"

Rocket: "You're gonna get a prize in a second..." *makes a little fist and shakes it at him*

Pietro: *chuckles and pinches the bridge of his nose*

Rocket: "This is your fault for encouraging him."

Quill: "Okay who starts the next round?" *rubs his hands together*

Rocket: "Nope. I haven't had enough booze to join in this level of stupid." *walks away*

Quill: *shouts after him* "If you leave, you forfeit!"

Rocket: *yells from down hall* "I'm one hundred percent okay with that!"
