Yes, His adventures include Oracle of Secrets even though it was never actually made into a game. I have some vague ideas about what could have happened in it, and that will probably be explored in later works.
Pinkie is that kid down the road you've known your entire life, but never thought anything special of until they go missing and you see a warrant out for their arrest. He's kind and loyal, but has a wandering spirit and loves to travel. He keeps souvenirs from all his adventures, and brings back gifts for the people he loves whenever he returns home.
He is often praised for his curiosity and unceasing ability to see the good in the world, but is that always such a good thing? Whether it is or not, it's a skill the others in the group seem to value highly.

This year, I am celebrating five years if being fully submerged into Twisted Wonderland 🥺 I love this game and it's helped me get through dark times. I am also celebrating five years since I started writing my OC Asami and Leona's love story!
So I thought I'd make a headcanon + cultural/world-building index!

Beastmen 
Not all Beastmen inherit magic.
In some rare cases, some Beastmen do not inherit human speech. Magic can be used as a way of communication, similar to telepathy. Overuse can lead to minor overblot. 
Beastmen have the ability to heart heartbeats within a certain distance. 
Beastmen can bear and have children with normal humans. Their beast blood isn’t diluted by human blood and the beast capabilities and genetics are directly inherited. But most of the time, there is a 50/50 chance the offspring may not inherit the beast parent’s magic. 
Jack Howl struggles with controlling his tail, especially when he gets excited or when Asami is around. 
To improve his tail-wagging control, he undergoes a year-long tail training program to mask his emotions, control his reactions and maintain a disciplined stance. 
This is a common practice for Beastmen in noble or formal settings ensuring they appear dignified and composed. 
While Jack’s tail wagging improves a lot, his tail still betrays him when Asami is nearby. 
CRIMSON The Dark Arcane Order
A secret organisation that operates in the shadows of Twisted Wonderland. They occupy unclaimed territory. They are involved with organised crime, assassinations, intelligence and forbidden magic. 
Kiros (OC) is one of the main gang leaders of the organisation though no direct evidence have been found. 
Crimson is said to be recruiting mages with special unique magic. Specifically eyeing Malleus Draconia, Kalim Al Asim and Leona Kingscholar.
CURIOSA The Apothecary 
A hidden place of curiosities and an apothecary infamous for catering to noble patrons and sometimes even the claws of CRIMSON. 
CURIOSA is a place for rare potions, enchanted herbs, illicit magical remedies and other “healing” rituals that are forbidden in the arcane laws of Twisted Wonderland. 
Also houses and is a liaison for discreet cures, beast transformations, bdsm, elixirs. 
Kingscholar Royal Family & Culture (in order of appearance in Eyes Nose Lips)
Kingscholar Royal Family Values 
Excellence through Enlightenment, Unity through Understanding
Old Sarabian 
An ancient, almost forgotten language that is used exclusively by the Kingscholar Royal family. 
Unlike modern Sunset dialects and neighbouring savannah dialects, it is highly formal and poetic. 
This ancient language is used in royal decrees, sacred texts, ancestral records and in rare cases, old magical archives housed in the Royal Kingscholar Library. 
The language can hold power and even memories; it’s necessary when performing royal rites, ceremonies and spells. 
Old Sarabian inscriptions can sometimes be found in forged Sarabian gold and are also scattered around Kivuli Hall. 
Sarabian Gold
Metals don’t usually hold magic in Twisted Wonderland. Sarabian gold is a rare gold found exclusively in Sunset Savannah. 
It is found deep in the ancestral mines and the Royal Family does not allow its mining. Selling or forging Sarabian is currently forbidden unless it is performed directly under the request of a Royal family member. 
Sarabian Gold is the only metal known in Twisted Wonderland that is able to hold generational power. It is rare and highly coveted. 
Only Royal artisans can forge items from Sarabian gold and only under the direction and request from one of the Royal Family. 
Legends say that the mines have been found by the first king of Sunset, it made him king, blessed by the sun. 
Kivuli Hall
A secret chamber within the palace lined with ancient crystals that act like curtains. These crystals have old sarabian inscriptions in them and they can hold and store memories of the inhabitants. 
The crystals can bounce magic, light and retain voices, visions and whispers of its past inhabitants. 
Kivuli Hall is a recent addition to the centuries-old palace, it was originally built to house and contain Leona’s magic and “curse”.
When Asami spent the summer there, the hall absorbed their shared memories and moments, preserving them like reflections on glass. 
The hall’s inscriptions and crystals can react to Leona’s magic, his emotions, thoughts and desires. 
Kivuli Hall is a sacred and personal space for Leona. 
The Pride Pendant 
A symbol (a necklace) traditionally passed to male-born children of the savannah. 
The Pride Pendant was adapted from the ancient royal tradition of the Kingscholar Royal family. 
This piece of jewelry is a sacred symbol gifted to any beastperson born from the savannah. Upon reaching maturity, the holder of the pendant must offer their Pride as a symbol of an unbreakable bond of loyalty and/or love.
Traditionally, Pride Pendants were carried by lions and were forged from Sarabian gold. In these modern times however, people from the savannah adapted this practice. Crafting their own pride pendants from ordinary gold, other metals and precious stones, these prides are offered when making a proposal. 
Anyone who isn’t wearing a “pride” is considered single/unmarried. 
Not all Beastmen carry this ancient tradition.
Succession Laws & Female heirs
Sunset Savannah has a king because the previous king (Leona & Farena’s father) is male. But it is not strictly patrilineal and in the absence of male heirs, the first female daughter inherits the crown. 
If Leona becomes King, his first-born daughter, Crown Princess Asami would be the first female heir in generations. 
If the Sun Queen Regnant marries, her husband is not automatically King— he is titled Prince Consort depending on his lineage. 
The Royal Kingscholar Library 
A world-famous library containing the world’s biggest scholastic collection (scrolls, books and artifacts) there are three branches in Sunset Savannah and two other grand libraries in other continents. The Royal Kingsholar Main Library is the biggest and houses the Great Kingscholar Royal Archives.
It is said that the second prince, Leona, used to own most of the books that are now housed in this great library. He used to spend hours and days here in his youth. 
The Royal Kingsholar Library strictly employs only non-magic persons. This is because magic can seep into books, tools and materials leaving “residue” that could alter or affect the information stored in them. 
Any newly returned artifacts and materials are “neutralised” by the Magical Police before being returned to the library. 
Any newly excavated materials, artifacts and/or weapons are “neutralised” by the Magical Police before being stored into the library. 
Non-Magic employees preserve the integrity of the texts, enduring that no residue contaminates records or distort historical text. 
The Three halls of the Library
Ukumbi Hall (the Face of the library) - used as a tourist attraction, art gallery and exhibition hall. Any member of the public may use the space. Tours and other events are also held here. 
Grand Maarifa Hall (The Heart of the library) - the main library where scholars gather, study and work. Eighteen floors of materials. 
The Garden an inner garden where scholars, students, library card holders and members can enjoy nature and tranquility in the middle of Sunrise City.

Travel & Magic
Mirrors and Magic Travel 
Magical Mirrors require a magic user to stabilise the journey. The stronger the magic, the faster and easier the travel can be. Amateurs and students can still struggle when traveling by mirrors. Supervision is highly recommended in non-school settings. 
Without a magic user-s control, traveling is unstable much like walking on a plank on water. 
Because of this when Asami wants to travel and Kifaji cannot escort her, she needs to take public transportation (trains, planes, buses, broom if available) 
Magical Police
The Magical Police are striclt prohibited from using magic when off-duty or when they are not wearing their uniform.
They are responsible for neutralising magical artifacts and there is a specific department for that within the force. 
Magical Police regulate magic use in public spaces to ensure and maintain order and safety. 
2. Others
The Golden Sigil - a golden sticker imbued with magic that is used by women of Twisted Wonderland (specifically in the savannah and those with beastman partner/s) to prevent pregnancy. 
Ambrosia - a golden liquid (liquor) specifically for beastmen. This liquor is too strong for normal humans who possess magical energy. Although it is safe for consumption in small quantities, it is not recommended if you're not an experienced drinker. 
Spectré - A potent and highly addictive hallucinogen, it blurs the line between physical and metaphysical experiences. Its use is not fully legalised in Twisted Wonderland, there is a tolerance policy with regard to its use and retail in small quantities and non-commercial purposes. It is often used by those seeking to amplify effects of other psychoactive substances particularly potions related to divination, hallucinations and altered states of consciousness.

Ultimix
this is widely concidered to be the ULTIMATE final form of a fairy as it is A final power up of any spells the wielder has ever used before. in this way, once a fairy gains this transformation, they need not gain any more situational power up forms anymore, even if they do, the powers and advantages of the new power-up will be adapted into the ultimix transformation within seconds.
for clarity: ultimix is level 5 magic
(most fairies do not gain this transformation, in old age most fairies usually choose not to transform anymore but they train to have access to all their spells even without transforming: for clarity, this is level 4 magic)
It is gained with a lot of training and sheer willpower. (bloom was the one who helped the winx get this one when they really needed it as she once willed herself to get enchantix.)
One of the reasons most fairies do not choose to go after this transformation is because it is very easy to overdo it while using magic with this transformation, because of how insanely powerful it is. When a fairy is close to overdoing it, their eyes will glow the colour of the magic they have, and their hands and face will start to get really hot. Once a fairy choses to break the threshold and go all in, she is basicaly allowing all the magic within her to be released (usually as an attack or a defense) and because of that their physical forms get burned away. So they die basically. And their souls slowly fade away and enter the golden kingdom n remain dormant until in the future another fairy needs aid or advice (it is kind of the final resting place for like insanely powerful beings, like the first of each species)
In history there has been quite a few fairries who have gained ultimix, but only 3 who have died using their magic in the form, the three ethereal fairies (i will redesign them)
So i will say if a fairy dies because of the overuse of the Ultimix power, they become ethereal fairies. Their souls can be called upon for a limit period of time to provide aid/advice by entering the golden kingdom and making your case to the first beings in existence (so the centaur, the mermaid, Arcadia and the owl looking thing) if they deem you or the people who need help worthy, they will direct you to the ethereal fairy that is most suited to assist. (This means in season 4, fairygonda does this and gains the help of all three ethereal fairies on behalf of the winx against the wizards of the black circle and the terrestrial fairies)
Aesthetic: HUMONGOUS WINGS (at this stage wings do not flap or flitter, they r just kinda there as external visuals of the fairy’s power). flowy, ethereal looking outfits (if flowy doesnt fit the character then just ethereal looking is good enuf) head crest tiara thing. Barefoot.

AMBROSIANS TLDR

born and named after ambrosia, first sentient being on earth, created by the life goddess, in the image of the planet her mother created. Ambrosia is a deity to the ambrosians, though they are not aware of where she is or if she is alive (she is napping.)
each subtype is extremely varied, but all ambrosians share reincarnation.
there are 3 subtypes : Flora, Fauna, and Gem* type. marine animal ambrosians fall under either fauna, or their own subtype, depending on who you ask. gem types are unique, as flora and fauna have more similarities, such as heat cycles LMFAO*
Flora type Ambrosians have features of plant life. they are quite varied, and while some may have more floral features, some, like Lilia, look mostly like a normal human. there are some features all Flora Type Ambrosians share ; their scent, their biology, and their reincarnation. they smell of the plant life they are, however, in some cases this can be a bad thing, so there are supplements to counter this effect. in terms of biology, when a Flora type Ambrosian gets injured badly enough, petals, branches, or otherwise will pour from the wound, along with regular blood. if one were to overuse magic or tire themselves out, this same thing would happen, but without injuries being present. it's a telltale sign that if they continue on they will die. Flora-types are inclined towards healing and destruction magic.
Flora type Ambrosians reincarnation happens at their death - they have a similar life cycle as the other humanoid races, albiet being longer. once they begin passing away, they start to become the plant life they are ; for example, Lilia's father became a magnolia tree when he passed. Other flora-type ambrosians can tell the difference between a regular tree and one which is a reincarnation.
Fauna type Ambrosians have features of various animal life. they are even more varied than the flora-types. the amount of features fauna-types have varies greatly. someone may simply have the tail of a cat, another may have horns, hooves, ears and a tail. they have fewer features alike, but they all share the ability to transform into the animal they represent. of the flora and fauna subtypes, fauna-types are more likely to experience heat cycles* and have them be more aggressive, but they have invented supplements for this as well. Fauna-type reincarnation is simple : after one dies, they become the animal they represent and then live out a life as that animal. there is a bit of discourse between land and sea fauna-types.*
Gem-type Ambrosians are a bit more unique, and less is known about them. they live alongside dwarves and are rare aboveground*. Gem-types are effectively immortal, but do have a sort of "death" and reincarnation process. Of the three subtypes, they are the least varied, technically. Gem-types have metallic blood, but seemingly no organs. Their blood can be poisonous. they have an outer layer of skin, and it isn't known why*. Their skintones tend to be desaturated and glittery, looking sometimes metallic as well. Gem-types can have a sort of "tattoo" process done - this is actually having their skin shaved and cut to show their crystal insides to create patterns. this is a common practice and has an age requirement. Gem-types are born differently than other Ambrosians, but it's unknown how at this time*. They can be born without limbs similar to other humanoid races, and due to their association with the technologically advanced dwarves, have access to mechanical prosthetics, whereas aboveground prosthetics tend to be on the magic and biological type. Gem-type reincarnation is a different process than the other subtypes. They are immortal, but due to close relations with dwarves, evolved to have a sort of death process. When this happens, the gem-type fully crystallizes, and professional gem-cutters (including both gem-types and dwarves) take pieces of their bodies and refine them, leaving no piece left behind. the pieces are first distibruted throughout the gem's family, and then publicly. while entirely different from other Ambrosian reincarnations, this is extremely important to them. (this is the least worked on subtype btw despite all the extra text. Lol)

Finished Chlorine!
I am extremely conflicted about it, mainly because I don't know if the author intended for the MC to be such a raging asshole edgelord or if this is a case where they think the MC behaves totally fine in all circumstances and truly all their problems are everyone else's fault.
Ah well, we embrace death of the author.
IF this book is written so the MC, Ren, is intentionally a huge asshole who takes very little agency in her life, rarely communicates her thoughts with others, treats her best (and only) friend horribly, and constantly blames others for her own actions (ie. telling the doctor she was no longer feeling pain from her concussion and then getting angry later because he didn't realize she was lying to get a doctor's note), it's an interesting and complex tale about a conceited, selfish star athlete who develops the delusion that she's a mermaid and [insert body horror here]. Obviously not everything that happens is her fault either--her swim coach is a certified pervert, she faces racism throughout the story, etc--but that what makes it interesting, untangling her complicated and often blatantly incorrect inner narrative.
Throughout the story there are also letters from her friend Cathy to her, explaining Cathy's perspective on things and apologizing for perceived wrongdoings. The thing is--comparing the two narratives it becomes clear that this is an extremely toxic friendship. Cathy is in love with Ren, and also trying to be the best friend she can be. Ren seems to completely ignore her, disdain her friendliness, is openly rude to her, and complains about how shy and anxious she is. It's clear this is one of those classic Jennifer's Body-esque Girl Friendships where Ren is the leader and Cathy is more like her devoted follower than an equal.
Idk--the way it's written though, I can't really tell if the author recognizes this fucked-up-ness or if she truly thinks her MC is okay to act this way because she's ~different~.
Another thing is that the story is being narrated by future!Ren who has apparently become a real mermaid (though tbh I think you can also read it as her just being delusional, she did sew her own legs together to make a mermaid tale after all, we're given no proof that magic is real in this world and she could very well be narrating this as she swims herself to death) and I think that takes away from the story a bit--every scene is coloured with her teenage views and opinions and angst.
It makes it hard to see what Ren is feeling in the moment, for example when the doctor she sees after getting a concussion asks her how much her head is hurting, she replies with "what if I hurt everywhere all the time?" and then clarifies to the reader that this is "the pain of living in the human world." As in, some existential pain and not real, physical pain. Which comes across as eye-rollingly #edgy emo kid nonsense, but also makes no sense because for the first 2/3rds of the book she doesn't really address the "I transformed myself into a mermaid because I didn't want to be human" thing. She constantly wants to be swimming, but it's specifically about her swim team and scores and such and not about any existential longing.
Anyway my final complaint is that the word chlorine is badly overused. The author basically uses it as a replacement for the word 'water' for most of the book. And I understand and Ren's thing is that she wants to become a "mermaid" via swim team success and therefore obsessed with chlorinated water, but it's absolutely overkill lol. You can still say water or pool water and people will know what you mean.
So, I'd say 3.5/5 for this one, interesting book but I think with this being the author's debut novel she still has some work to do on writing style, purple prose, and making her characters believable.

Powers:
Delayed Immortality: Florian will never age and can naturally live forever.
Superhuman Strength and Speed: Florian possess superhuman physical physical capabilities like being strong enough to lift large aircrafts and destroying the toughest metals and running or moving up to 250 mph.
Accelerated Healing: Florian can rapidly self-heal and his body automatically restore back to full health at an extremely fast rate. He is capable of recovering from mild to moderate injuries without issue but they cannot recreate lost limbs or parts.
Contaminant Immunity: Florian is immune to all natural diseases, viruses, bacteria, and most poisons.
Telepathy: Florian is able to read and sense another person’s thoughts and communicate with them mentally. Light Magic: (white magic) Witches can create, shape and manipulate light via light energy, a specific natural energy usually drawn from inter-dimensional or other similar sources. It can be channeled as an absence of darkness and a solid substance that can be shaped or manifested in various ways. They can also create and dispel areas of bright light, move short distances at light speed, project holographic illusions, and bend light to turn themselves and others invisible. Light magic can be countered by shadow magic.
Transmutation Expert (Water): Witches can transform and alter matter, energy, elements, objects, and living beings into anything else, either permanently or temporarily. Transmutation tends to lean far more neutral since the spells used can be for both harmful and beneficial purposes on others in later levels. The most notorious dark magic ability in this school is magic that allows witches to transform mortals into demons.
BEGINNER LEVELS:
Matter Transmutation: They can transform matter in a variety of ways with magic, such as deconstructing and reconstructing it on a molecular level, shaping it into different objects, and altering its current state with upgrades.
Transmutation Reversal: All witches are capable of reversing the effects of transmutation on matter. They can also reverse this magic used to alter living beings, such as anything cast on someone with morphing inducement or biological magic in this school’s later levels. This is ineffective on beings that have undergone a magical conversion into demons since that would require high level magic or would destroy the demon.
ADVANCED LEVELS:
Energy Conversion: (this ability grants witches extra features as they master expert levels in transmutation) Advanced transmuters can absorb and convert one form of energy into another form. Example being, one absorbing cold energy and converting it into light energy, or absorbing kinetic energy and converting it into heat energy. This is a very tricky skill as it involves precise control in the transformation. Expert level transmuters can capture projectile energy shot at them and redirect it back in a different form.
Intangibility: By magically altering the state of their own particles, these witches can make themselves phase through solid matter and allow them to walk through walls or be unaffected by physical contact or attacks. This ability is short-lived as holding it for too long can disrupt one’s form permanently. Magic negation and protective wards can prevent someone from using this. They are also incapable of phasing through magic barriers.
Morphing Inducement: They can magically transform someone into a different person for up to three hours until the spell wears off. When combined with animal magic, witches can morph others into an animal of their choice temporarily or even permanently once they’ve advanced in this school.
Shapeshifting: (this ability grants witches extra features as they master expert levels in transmutation) With transmutation magic, witches can change their own shape and appearance with spells. They can turn into existing animals and take the form of other humanoids (regardless of species) that they know and have seen before. They can hold these forms for up to an hour. At expert levels, they have become masters of disguise, their shifted forms nearly imperceptible straight down to vocal mimicry (so long as they’ve heard the person they’re copying speak before). They can also fluidly shift between one form and another at the expense of their magical energy. Mind readers are able to see through their disguises unless they’re blocked by a mental shield. This magic only applies to physical appearance – transforming into a different species does not grant them abilities or traits of that species.
EXPERT LEVELS:
Biological Magic: At expert levels, witches can manipulate the biology of living things like humans, supernaturals (except spirits), and animals. They can alter the appearance of others’ or their own eye color, natural hair or fur (animals) color, height, weight, and skin. They can also change the physical sex of themselves and others, manipulate their fertility for reproduction or causing infertility, alter the biological and physiological makeup of the physical body, and affect the way one regenerates from injury and disease. Older magicians here over 100 years old can control the forces of life and death to the point of further extending one’s life and slowing or completely halting physical aging. When done right, this can grant the wielder immortality and immunity to contaminants like illness, viruses, bacteria, and most poisons. Unlike shapeshifting and morphing inducement, the effects from this magic can be permanent and can only be undone through expert level transmutation reversal by the caster or another transmutation witch.
Transmutation Immunity: Their level of transmutation magic has increased to the point where they are immune against all morphing or transformation magic used against them. This power can be negated with power or magic negation used against the witch to affect them with transmutation magic.
Abjuration (Earth Magic) Expert:
Magic that provides protection of various kinds for oneself and others, such as healing, warding, cleansing, and creating protective fields. Abjuration is a school strongly associated with neutral or white magic. Dark mages are capable of going into this field but their skills and uses are all for protecting themselves instead of others, hence the limited abilities they have here compared to white or neutral mages.
Abjuration is one of the most versatile schools for any witch to familiarize themselves with, even if they don’t become experts. It is effective both in combat or war situations where magicians can defend themselves or others and heal wounded allies, and off the field to hide oneself from prying (or scrying) eyes and keep evil entities out of one’s home.
Barrier Magic: (this ability grants witches extra features as they master advanced and expert levels in abjuration) Magic that can create force-fields and magical shields made out of solid energy. The sizes of barriers expand as witches advance in this school. Those who have mastered the beginner levels of abjuration can generate small force fields or constructs capable of shielding themselves and few others within their sight against harm. Their skills and power continue growing as they master the advanced levels and they can produce area of effect fields that cover up to a 1,000 foot radius used to protect themselves or imprison enemies. Witches who have mastered the expert levels in abjuration can create multiple large fields and barriers with ease. They can also incorporate extra effects to their barriers that allows them to heal allies inside, add various wards for further protection, and combine it with effects from other schools like projecting illusions inside the field to confuse targets. Larger defensive barriers, like the ones around Krovs Castle and Krovs Town, can cover an entire city with the help of multiple witches. Maintaining barriers requires mana and even permanent ones will need to be reinforced with more magic over time to keep its efficacy and strength up. Smaller barriers can also be absorbed by advanced evocation witches capable of energy magic.
Dispel Magic: This allows witches to counter or cancel out the effects of enchantment and abjuration magic like illusions, curses, blessings, mind control, and magical traps or wards cast on people, items, and as areas of effect. This is not effective in combat situations. Witches can only dispel magic that they are aware of (i.e., they cannot dispel an illusion they’re trapped in until they realize it’s an illusion) or magic discovered after being triggered (i.e., if they set off a defensive ward by walking through it, they can no longer dispel it now that it’s active) due to this kind of magic being a focused technique and not an area of effect. While white and neutral mages may use this on both themselves and others, dark mages will only worry about dispelling magic that negatively affects themselves.
Healing: (white magic) The ability to magically heal others’ physical wounds instantaneously.
Warding: A passive defensive system that repels any beings from entering any residence, area, or person by use of invocations, incantations, or runes. Symbols marked outside of a home can keep unwanted invaders from entering or certain runes tattooed on a person’s body can keep demons or spirits from possessing them. Wards can also be added to barriers for extra defense levels in keeping out threats and/or trapping others inside, which can prevent anyone from teleporting in or out of the barrier as well. The larger the barrier, the more warding effects that can be added. Warding also includes runes that can negate all magic – including powers and active magic items or spells on a person – in an area. The witch who cast the runes is unaffected and can still use their magic. Once someone steps into this area the only way to regain their magic is to find their way outside of the runes. A witch who has fully mastered this ability can also cast protective wards around themselves in a location to hide from those searching for them with clairvoyance or other divination methods. Wards must be constantly reinforced to maintain their strength.
ADVANCED LEVELS:
Exorcism Magic: (white magic) This allows the user to wield spells or magical power that can expel evil entities like demons or spirits from mortal vessels and invading essences or power. Younger witches trying to exorcise demons over 200 years older than themselves will need to use more power; this will cause overuse and significantly drain their energy.
Enchanted Armor: The ability to create magical armor on oneself and others that protects them from physical damages in combat or dangerous situations. This armor appears as a glowing aura surrounding the intended targets and will temporarily enhance their strength, speed, and accelerate their healing from injuries while the magic is in effect. This ability is always temporary and drains energy. It can last for a few minutes up to an hour depending on the caster’s age, strength, and skill. Maintaining armors across multiple people drains energy quicker. Older and stronger magic users might be able to break through a younger witch’s armor with higher levels of force. The armor can also be absorbed and weakened by evocation witches with energy magic. Dark mages will only use this magic on themselves and rarely, if ever, use it to defend others unless they need to keep someone alive for selfish or personal reasons.
Mental Shielding: Witches can project shields within their own minds or others’ as a defense against psychic abilities. It protects against things like mind control, mind reading, telepathy, persuasion, siren song, emotion magic/manipulation, subconscious manipulation, dream walking, illusion casting, dream and nightmare magic, memory magic, corruption inducement, sin magic, and virtue magic. Those shielded are also unaffected by passive abilities like faeries’ enchanted allure, mermen’s supernatural beauty, incubi’s mesmerizing presence, and gancanagh’s empathic voice and lovesickness. This ability is not permanent since it drains mana and magicians must cast it when they need it in effect. These shields can be broken by stronger beings or in a battle of willpower between the caster and the attacker.
Restoration Magic: (white magic) This is an incredibly advanced form of healing magic as it allows witches to return injured or damaged living and non-living targets to their optimal state of health or being. This magic can even recreate lost limbs or parts when used by white mages only. When it comes to living beings like humans or nature (forests, plants, animals, etc.), it requires infusing life energy into successfully bringing them back from the brink of death, healing them, and restoring their vitality. This magic can also work on repairing broken objects like cracked phone screens or even reconstructing ruins or destroyed buildings.
EXPERT LEVELS:
Anti-Magic Fields: Expert abjuration users can generate fields of energy that negate all magic, including powers, wards, and other charms already in effect. These fields can only affect and trap those within up to a 1,000 foot radius and are temporary. The fields last for a few minutes up to an hour, unless the caster continues pouring energy into it at the risk of draining themselves. Larger fields require more mana than smaller ones.
Power Reflection: This magical ability can reflect any power that is launched against a witch without being harmed. This serves as a means of self-defense and counter-attack by turning the attack back towards the original caster. Note that this only works on projectile attacks and not physical ones like punching or kicking. This ability does not serve as an innate counter attack; it is an instant reaction that entirely depends on the witch’s quick thinking, reflexes, and energy level. Reflecting attacks of any level takes a lot of energy; it’s in the user’s best interest to use this wisely.
Purification Magic: (white magic ONLY) Magic used to purify the intended targets enabling specialized effects such as healing the body, mind, and spirit, and cleansing the effects of dark magic like corruption and curses.
Sealing Magic: (white magic) Witches can seal or bind malevolent entities into other objects or places and banish them from earth. Seals used to trap entities in objects leave them entirely powerless until the target is freed. The effectiveness of these seals are dependent on the magic user’s strength. Seals can also weaken over time or be broken with other magic. White mages use this in order to protect humankind from evil by banishing evil spirits or demonic entities and sealing the powers of those deemed dangerous and threatening to the world.
Animacy Expert: This magic encompasses varying elements of the main six schools and revolves around manipulating the living, life, and the life-force. High level witches can grant life to the lifeless, animate things, manipulate the life force of the universe and those connected to it. While they can control life, most practitioners find a way to make peace with the idea that death is everywhere, and that life and death are both inevitable forces and can’t exist without the other.
BEGINNER LEVELS:
Death Prevention: Witches can prevent the death of others from occurring by preserving their lives and healing even the most severe injuries just before they pass. This does not render the target invulnerable or immortal as it only prevents death by unnatural means like murder or an accident. The target will still be susceptible to a natural death or other means at a later time.
Life Perception: (this ability grants witches extra features as they master advanced and expert levels in animancy) All beginner level animancers can perceive the flow of life-force in all living things. They can see it just like auras surrounding people, which tells them their state of health and vitality. Advanced level animancers can perceive problems in the flow of life, detecting terminal illnesses, coming death, and life growing inside of another. Once they master expert levels in animancy, their power here extends to seeing the names and lifespans of others.
Purification Magic: Magic used to purify the intended targets, enabling specialized effects such as healing the body, mind, and spirit and cleansing the effects of dark magic like corruption and curses.
ADVANCED LEVELS:
Animation: (this ability grants witches extra features as they master expert levels in animancy) Animancers can give life to inanimate objects, allowing them to act and move on their own accord. Most might use this to breathe life into toys and stuffed animals, animate tattoos on their own or others’ skin, create moving photographs, or bring drawings to life off the page of a canvas. Though capable of operating purely independent of their animator’s control, they can still function as extensions of the witch’s will, allowing the witch to possibly command and control them. These witches can animate up to five things simultaneously and move on to animating more than that at a time once they master expert levels in this school. This magic can be canceled with dispel magic or magic negation abilities.
Blessing Magic: Animancers can cast blessings or “charms” to benefit themselves or others. These spells can include things like granting good health, long-lasting good luck, making someone more beautiful, healing physical wounds, and negating the effects of curses. Charms can be reversed or canceled through dispel magic or by the caster undoing the spell.
Fertility Magic: Advanced animancers can use a form of magic dealing with fertility and reproduction. They can make land, living beings, and plants fertile, allowing them to reproduce. When it comes to living beings, especially humans, they can increase the chances of getting pregnant by performing a white magic ritual to cleanse the body and beneficially affect someone’s health that may be affecting their fertility. Death and curse magic can reverse the effects.
Light Magic: Witches can create, shape and manipulate light via light energy, a specific natural energy usually drawn from inter-dimensional or other similar sources. It can be channeled as an absence of darkness and a solid substance that can be shaped or manifested in various ways. They can also create and dispel areas of bright light, move short distances at light speed, project holographic illusions, and bend light to turn themselves and others invisible. EXPERT LEVELS:
Anthropomorphism Inducement: Expert animancers can go beyond with their animation abilities and grant human characteristics or behavior to other living beings like animals or non-living beings like dolls and toys or animated artwork. This grants these things sentience and the ability to speak, think, and communicate much like a human can. The effects can be permanent until reversed with dispel magic or expert transmutation reversal. This does not guarantee the spell caster control over the subject once they gain sentience.
Immortality: With their connection to the life-force and manipulating its energy, animancers can choose to become fully immortal and live forever (or as long as they would like to). They will permanently stop physically aging and become immune to diseases – the only way they can die is either through other means (unless they self-resurrect) or, as most likely is the scenario, by choice. Given that animancers believe death is a natural part of life, they will eventually choose to give up their life when they feel it is time and allow themselves to age again or go through other means.
Life Magic: Their control and connection to the living, life, and life-force has become so powerful that they are capable of wielding energy from the life-force for defensive and offensive purposes. This energy may appear white or gold and often mistaken for light magic. Whatever this energy touches will induce cleansing and healing, if needed, and can benefit the health of living beings, both human, flora, and fauna. When affecting nature, this magic can grow or restore new trees and plants within fertile ground where floral life once was. This magic can also grant life to those who have lost their lives very recently and couldn’t be saved or revived by medicine, however, this requires quite a lot of mana and possibly even the caster’s own life energy in exchange. Life magic can be countered by death and curse magic. This cannot bring someone who’s been long dead and buried in the ground back to life as nature has already claimed their lives and souls; only necromancy can work to bring them back as undead at this point.
Resurrection Magic: An extremely advanced and generally taboo practice of magic under this category. Resurrection is different from reanimation or even animation in that it fully restores a creature’s body, mind, and soul to full health. Animancers with their ability to manipulate life and the life-force are able to go beyond what necromancers can and magically control resurrection itself, by casting magic to resurrect themselves from death instantaneously, resurrecting another person, or prevent the resurrection of someone to ensure the dead stay dead. A successful resurrection will always require the life of another – potentially even the caster’s life.
Enchantment Expert (Holy Fire Magic): Witches in this school are masters at wielding the supernatural forces at will to affect the world around them. This is one of the trickiest forms of magic to learn when first starting. One wrong phrasing or motion will cause unintended consequences. Witches use this type of magic to create sun rings for vampires. Enchantment is a school strongly associated with dark magic as most of the later level uses involve deception and harm towards others. White mages are capable of practicing enchantment for benevolent purposes, like reversing curses and helping others in combat by enhancing their allies abilities. This can also be used by neutral magicians who prefer a balance of both the dark and white uses. Enchantments are effective both in combat and social situations to aid in controlling the environment and manipulating others.
BEGINNER LEVELS:
Animal Magic: (this ability grants witches extra features as they master advanced and expert levels in enchantment) One of the earliest signs that a witch is born to be an enchanter is that they have a gift of drawing animals to them. With further study in beginner levels they can learn to understand, communicate, and empathize with them. At advanced levels witches can tame them as companions that’ll obey them and serve them loyally. Expert level enchanters can calm the feral minds of werewolves and bring them a moment of mental clarity or enhance those mental effects to develop a dangerous situation for anyone in the vicinity of a werewolf. When combined with conjuration, an enchanter can also summon animal companions through various means. Expert transmuters can also learn to use this to turn others into animals.
Illusion Casting: (dark magic) (this ability grants witches extra features as they master advanced and expert levels in enchantment) Witches can perform common tricks seen in stereotypical magic acts (vanishing, pulling scarves from their mouths, card tricks, etc.). Beginner levels use this magic for harmless means such as rendering themselves and others invisible to avoid detection, projecting small visual images into reality like fireworks in the sky, duplications of themselves, and hiding wards or traps from sight. As they master advanced levels in this school their talent in illusions expands to create stunning and realistic visuals that can only be distinguished as false through physical interaction up to a 1,000 foot radius. Those who’ve completed expert levels can induce powerful illusions in a target’s mind that are indistinguishable from reality in that they believe everything they see, hear, and feel is actually happening. Should the target suffer any wounds or physical harm in the illusion it will feel very real, despite having no actual effects in the real world. This can make it difficult for a target trapped to break free of the illusion given how convincing it can be. This level also allows an illusion to be cast on a max area of 5,280 feet (or 1 mile) affecting the minds of any who are in that area at casting. For area of effect illusions affected people can move out of the area and unaffected can move into it unless it is combined with expert level barrier magic. Divination experts with a mind’s eye can see through the illusions. Mental shields provide resistance against the effects of illusions. Once a magician has realized what they’re seeing is false they will be able to dispel the magic and break free of the illusion. Bigger and more complicated illusions require a lot of energy and focus, so disruptions to the caster can affect their spell.
Magic Infusion: Witches can infuse objects, tattoos, or weapons with magic, empowering and energizing them and allowing the owner to utilize the spell cast into them. This can grant a variety of effects in the object for the wielder, including, but not limited to protection, offense, non-detection, and immunity against other magic. Sun rings are a common item that vampires request from witches so they walk around unharmed in the daytime. Infusing magic into a wearable accessory can also create a power negation item in the form of a necklace, ring, or other accessory. This will negate all of the wearer’s powers while it is worn. Magic consultants are familiar with this ability to create the power negating collars on slaves and staff members in the castle. This ability only affects items and not living beings. The effects can be canceled with dispel magic from abjuration.
ADVANCED LEVELS:
Blessing Magic: (white magic) Enchanters can cast blessings or “charms” to benefit themselves or others. These spells can include things like granting good health, long-lasting good luck, making someone more beautiful, healing physical wounds, and negating the effects of curses. Charms can be reversed or canceled through dispel magic or by the caster undoing the spell.
Curse Magic: (dark magic) Enchanters can cast curses or “hexes” to harm others. These spells can include things like draining one’s life or energy, inducing momentary crippling physical pain, making someone grotesque, granting them long-lasting bad luck, inducing insomnia by plaguing their victim with nightmares, or locking their victim in slumber with recurring night terrors. Hexes can be reversed or canceled through dispel magic, blessings, or by the caster undoing the spell.
Emotion Magic: (this ability grants witches extra features as the master expert levels in enchantment) Witches have the capacity to influence and manipulate emotions in others, ranging from love, calmness, fear, hatred, anger, sadness, joy, lust, desire, passion, stress, etc. This form of magic can be either dark (negative emotions), white (positive emotions), or neutral (both), depending on the user. Every witch at this level is able to manipulate already existing emotions by enhancing them or negating them. Mastering expert levels in enchantment allows the caster to invoke emotions not present that they can control within their target. The effects are short-lived with no permanence. Targets can be naturally resistant to the effects via their own willpower, although this is uncommon since this magic is subtle, making the target unaware of its influence. For example, a witch inducing sudden anger in a calm and content target with nothing to enrage them has a higher chance of arousing suspicion that can aid in the target’s resistance to this magic. Whereas a target already on the verge of feeling annoyed and having a witch influence and augment their irritation into full blown anger will be less suspicious and more successful for the caster. White mages will develop empathy as expert enchanters. Mental shields are effective in resisting or negating this magic on someone.
Memory Magic: (this ability grants witches extra features as they master expert levels in enchantment) Witches can utilize a form of magic that allows them to affect the memories of others. At first, they start with being able to manipulate what already exists. They can view memories without the aid of mind reading or telepathy and modify them as needed. Modifications can include changing things that happened in memories like erasing a person from it, suppressing memories deep into one’s subconscious, repairing damaged or altered memories, and completely erasing them or restoring wiped memories done by magic. Enchanters of expert levels can fabricate new memories in another’s mind and restore memories erased with this same magic. Both of these skills require a tremendous amount of concentration and focus. Altering and creating new memories requires meticulous attention to detail. Inconsistencies pose the threat of mental dissociation by the target or the target seeking an enchanter’s help to resolve the discrepancies. Mental shields are effective in protecting one’s memories from magical influence although memories affected can be reversed with this same magic.
EXPERT LEVELS:
Luck Magic: This is an extremely tricky type of magic as luck itself is based on chance and highly unpredictable. The caster can use different spells to change the probability of an outcome by increasing their own chances of winning, causing a mistake to happen, and so on. This is different from blessing or curse magic in that the caster doesn’t actually have control over the effect that happens – they’re only positively or negatively influencing the chances of other forces in the world to interfere in a scenario. This form of magic can be either dark (bad luck), white (good luck), or neutral (either), depending on the user. These spells are a one-time use only. They take effect immediately and instantly as soon as they are cast upon a target. For example, a good luck spell can cause a person walking down the street to find a $100 on the sidewalk or step back in time before they’re hit by an oncoming car; a bad luck spell can cause the same person to trip and fall or something more dramatic like a car swerving off the road into them. Smaller effects are easier to control, while larger ones take more mana and can lead to disastrous results, especially when dealing with dark magic. Luck magic can counter itself with good luck countering bad and bad countering good.
Support Powers: (white magic ONLY) White magicians can enhance or otherwise beneficially affect an allied target’s performance such as speed, strength, durability, recovery, and powers. This power when combined with advanced and expert level abjuration can also protect the target against any and all ailments that harm them as well as accelerate their body’s healing process while the spell is in effect. More than one enhancement can be applied at the same time, although effect stacking can drain mana more quickly and requires more concentration.
Divination/ Air Magic (Advanced): A method of reading the future, the present, and the past in order to gain knowledge or insight by using an occult, standardized process or ritual. Divination can be achieved by communicating with the supernatural (i.e., gods or spirits) or by reading certain energy patterns. This school is fairly balanced between dark and white magic since it deals with obtaining information and isn’t offensive or effective in moments of combat. All witches, regardless of alignment, are capable of all abilities in this school.
BEGINNER LEVELS:
Aura Reading: Witches can perceive and read auras of all beings. Auras are normally invisible fields of energy that surround every living thing; this can be used to see a target’s emotions, health status, and determine whether they’re lying or not.
Magic Detection: (this ability grants witches extra features once they master advanced levels in divination; see also “Mind’s Eye” for expert achievements) All beginner level witches can naturally sense magical energies within a nearby vicinity. They have no knowledge of what exactly they’re sensing except that it’s magic. They are able to distinguish other magical species apart by the “taste” or “scent” of their magic. As witches master advanced levels in divination they have a better feel of the magic they’re detecting. They can tell by its energy what school active magic within a radius of roughly 1,300 feet is being used, although they won’t know the exact spell.
Precognition: (this ability grants witches extra features once they master advanced levels; see also “Mind’s Eye” for expert achievements) All witches have the capacity to foresee future events although not everyone experiences it the same way or as often. Witches with a natural inclination for divination are more likely to receive more visions when their powers develop than those who choose to master other schools. This ability manifests itself through fragmented dreams that are hard to decipher for young or inexperienced witches in beginner levels. Once a witch masters advanced levels in divination, they receive clearer visions and full dreams that they can better interpret. Because future events are invariable until they reach the present, precognition, despite mastery, doesn’t account for accuracy.
Psychometry: The ability to obtain historical memories or sensations concerning beings, places, and objects a witch receives through touch. With objects, they gain knowledge including the makers, users, and even those who have in passing used the object, and what has been done with it. With living beings or parts of the body, the user learns their general life-history but doesn’t gain anything of what they were thinking or feeling. With places, they may relive past visions – usually the most recent events – that happened within those walls.
ADVANCED LEVELS:
Astral Projection: The ability to separate one’s consciousness or spirit from their physical body, which allows them to perceive, interact, and travel independent of physical limitation. This state is achieved through a trance or deep meditation that projects the witch’s form into the Astral Plane – a realm of existence over the mind, consciousness, and spirits – and allows them to move and exist outside of space and time using their astral form. While in astral form, they can move about the world as usual and observe others in real time, however, they cannot use their magical abilities nor can anyone see, feel, or hear them. This can be countered with the mind’s eye by expert level divination witches who are able to sense and see them in the Astral Plane. If a witch dies or is unable to find their body while in the Astral Plane they will remain trapped there.
Clairvoyance: Witches can acquire information using sight outside the normal range of detection about an object, person, location, or physical event that occurred in the past, present, or future. They can also view events that occur in other dimensions like the Faerie Realm. Abjuration wards and barriers can hide targets from witches trying to find them with clairvoyance.
Dream Walking: With magic and concentration, users of this can consciously enter the dreams of others and view them. They cannot control the target’s dreams or affect them in any way. The dreamer may possibly notice that they are there but won’t really think much of it except that it’s an odd dream. Mental shields and protective wards are effective in keeping dream walkers out.
Mind Reading: (this ability grants witches extra features once they master expert levels in divination) They can sense and read the thoughts and memories of others at will through visual projections or hearing. This only relates to surface thoughts. Once expert levels in divination have been mastered, users can push farther into the subconscious to read hidden thoughts and memories with concentration. Mental shields are effective in keeping one’s thoughts private from mind readers. This ability is also not the same as telepathy or mind control – witches can only read and sense thoughts; they cannot mentally communicate or manipulate someone’s mind with this.
Evocation/Electricity Magic (Advanced): This type of magic focuses on channeling, generating, and manipulating the natural forces and energies of the world. Evocation has the most dramatic results with magic and is excellent for both offensive and defensive uses. This school is considered a neutral category as its effects are comparable to forces of nature, but they can be used for benevolent purposes like defending others and combating evil forces.
BEGINNER LEVELS:
Telekinesis: The ability to move and lift objects or people in one’s sight through magical means. Witches can also use this gift to levitate themselves and others similarly to flight.
Elemental Magic: (these abilities grant witches extra features as they master advanced and expert levels in the respective schools each element is aligned to) This is a very common form of magic all magic users are capable of. Some tend to favor an element they closely align with.
Electricity Magic: This magic allows witches to control electricity and lightning from storms. This source of magic is strongest during storms or in close proximity to electrical currents.
At beginner levels, electric mages can generate small amounts of electricity from themselves to charge a battery or restart electronics, short-circuit electronics or other things that run on electricity, channel electricity into their fists for a modicum of power behind punches, shock a target upon touch, and shoot varying sized bolts of projectile electricity at enemies to shock and harm them. At advanced levels, they can actually call down lightning from thunderstorms to strike opponents, expand their lightning bolt attacks into wider ranges like beams and rays for bigger or more explosive effects, fry entire networks and machines, and restart someone’s heart like a defibrillator with a precise enough shock to the chest. At expert levels, these mages can redirect energy-based or other lightning attacks sent their way, channel enough power to fry or charge major city power grids, disrupt electronics within their vicinity with an electromagnetic pulse, and control electromagnetic fields around them by attracting, repelling, and deflecting metallic or magnetized objects or projectiles, and affecting the magnetization of non-metallic things by making them magnetic or demagnetizing them.
Electricity magic is usually strongest against water and air, weak against earth, and equal against fire.
ADVANCED LEVELS:
Channeling: Witches can tap into and harness supernatural and natural energies from the elements, nature, weather, solar, and lunar energy to empower their spells. Due to their strong connection to these forces, they can also summon more mana from the natural energies around them. This is ineffective against power or magic negation. A witch who is already exhausted or overused their magic that tries to channel more energy than they have will faint and experience the more devastating effects of overuse.
Energy Magic: (this ability grants witches extra features as they master expert levels in evocation) Advanced evocation witches can channel their mana or magical energy into physical manifestations that they can control and shape at will as solidified constructs, objects, and projectiles. Expert levels in evocation allow witches to also absorb magical energy from other magic users to quickly restore their own mana while draining another’s and weakening their powers. Draining enough of another magician’s energy can not only weaken their magic but temporarily negate it until they recover their mana again. This energy drain is ineffective under magic or power negation.
Light Magic: (white magic) Witches can create, shape and manipulate light via light energy, a specific natural energy usually drawn from inter-dimensional or other similar sources. It can be channeled as an absence of darkness and a solid substance that can be shaped or manifested in various ways. They can also create and dispel areas of bright light, move short distances at light speed, project holographic illusions, and bend light to turn themselves and others invisible. Light magic can be countered by shadow magic.
Weather Magic: (this ability grants witches extra features as they master expert levels in evocation) These witches can sense, create, and manipulate weather. They are capable of generating storms from clear skies, creating rain, wind, hail, lightning, snow, sleet, fog, and temperature changes along with removing storms for clear skies and sunny days. At expert levels, they can create heavy thunderstorms, hurricanes, derechos, tornadoes, blizzards, and other devastating storms. Since this power encompasses elemental magic, other elemental and weather magic users can defend themselves against any weather attacks or negate weather caused by magic.

Virtue:
These celestials are extremely determined, focused, hard-working, and responsible with high dedication and care to whatever they put their minds to. They are the least likely to be considered pushovers as they are assertive and steadfast. They like to keep themselves busy with tasks and will always work hard in whatever they do.
Diligence Empowerment: They gain strength and power from their own motivation and hard work, as well as from others enacting this virtue nearby. So long as these celestials are kept busy with responsibility, they will always have energy and never run into a problem with overexerting themselves.
Overexertion Immunity: Due to their virtue and being empowered by diligence, they are completely immune to overexertion and the negative effects that come with it. They are empowered by doing more, and with that builds their near-limitless supply of stamina. Older celestials who have embodied their virtue for so long can even be highly resistant or immune against the effects of sloth demons.
Diligence Magic: Diligence celestials can detect and manipulate the determination, motivation, responsibility, and persistence in others by inducing diligence and enhancing what’s already there to counteract the temptation into laziness and procrastination. Their magic also gives them something of a “holy voice” that allows them to inspire and motivate others into becoming diligent in any aspect merely by speaking.<
Weaknesses: Laziness, inactivity, and a lack of motivation weakens their powers. They may also be countered by sloth demons.

Beauty filters, the magical tools that help us "transform" ourselves into more beautiful in the blink of an eye, are becoming an indispensable part of young people's lives. However, behind that glitz, are there unexpected impacts on our psychology and perception?

"Beauty makeover" in just one touch:
Everyone wants to be beautiful, that's understandable. Beauty filters are like magic, helping us cover up small flaws and highlight our beautiful features. With just a few simple steps, we can have bright white skin, big, round, sparkling eyes and a high, elegant nose.
However, overusing filters can make us too dependent on this tool. We gradually forget our natural beauty, always comparing ourselves with perfect images on social networks. This inadvertently creates an invisible pressure, making us feel insecure about our real appearance.
The New "Beauty Standard": Fuzzy and Elusive:
Beauty filters have created a new standard of beauty, a standard of perfection that is unrealistic. V-line faces, big round eyes, white porcelain skin… have become the ideal model that many people strive for. However, does this beauty really exist? Or is it just a product of technology? Chasing unrealistic beauty standards can lead to serious consequences. Many people feel dissatisfied with their appearance, even suffering from psychological disorders such as body image disorder. They always try to make themselves more perfect, but the more they try, the more disappointed they feel. In addition, overusing filters also brings many other negative effects. Imagine the first time you meet your online date, and he/she is far from the photos he/she posts. I know if he/she is straightforward about his/her looks or if the differences are not that big then it is not a big deal, but in other cases, it is not much different from a scam when looks are also a factor that many people consider when starting a date. And I don't think that is a good start.
Filters: A Double-Edged Sword:
Beauty filters are like a double-edged sword. On the one hand, they help us feel more confident and happier. On the other hand, they can also have negative effects on our psychology and perception. How to use filters is entirely up to each person's consciousness.
So how to use filters properly?
First of all, we need to be aware of our natural beauty. Everyone has their own unique features, no one is perfect. Loving yourself is the most important thing. Instead of comparing yourself to perfect images on social networks, consider filters as a tool for entertainment, to add more fun to your photos. More importantly, focus on sharing your stories and experiences instead of just paying attention to your appearance.
Beauty filters are a useful tool, but we need to use them wisely. Remember, true beauty is not in perfectly edited photos, but in each person's confidence, optimism and love of life.
To have a healthy and happy life, you should spend time taking care of yourself, exercising, and eating healthily. Besides, building good relationships is also very important. Good friends will always be by your side and help you overcome difficulties. If you feel dissatisfied with your appearance, do not hesitate to seek help from psychological experts.
In life, we do not need to become a perfect version. Just be yourself, a unique and wonderful version!

The Double-Edged Sword of Filters: Elevating or Deceiving?
In the digital era, filters - with their often high-profile use to improve photos, videos and real-time live streams - have become fashionable (Rettberg 2014). Nonetheless sitting under the magic-looking blankets is a two-edged sword with several consequences that may not be ignored. To start with, with filters, we achieve a sort of magic beauty that hides flaws, strengthens the good sides, enhances self-confidence and provides unique visual effects that will make the posts with such photos stand out on social media. Doing so not only reveals a taste in the style but also helps to be updated with the fashion trends. As a person who often uses filters and as a fact, I am sure such digital beautification can create an "illusion" effect. To illustrate, taking the extra time to wipe off my makeup and display my bare face, sometimes I would come upon myself devoid of brightness as well as disappointment. Therewith I can be dissimilar just like I would have been if my face was carefully fashioned by makeup. This transformation will, probably, raise my confidence and let me feel more secure when I am willing to show my photos on social media sites. Nonetheless, I cannot cease to notice that filters are a way of presenting a fake image that leads to a comparison of someone's self with others and to display "perfect beauty" in the eyes of other people. Nevertheless, filtration has its drawbacks as it deforms the actual images, causes distortions of beauty standards, makes young people experience self-efforted activities, and makes them more self-conscious and suffer from poor self-esteem. In addition to that, the overuse of filters to hide one's self-real appearance can lead to difficulties in building relationships and cause developed users to depend on filters, grow insecure about their current forms, and even immerse themselves into social isolation.

For instance, the case of Biluo, the Chinese or online phenomenon, who was followed because of her angelic voice and handsomeness is also an example. On other side of the coin, a video live stream is airing; she is exposing her true face by accident, and many users are exiting the stream, she is losing followers (Spectrer 2019).

Hence, the deployment of filters has to be handled with care and such action should be only taken if the person utilizing them knows the impact of those artifacts on user's psychology.
Beyond the Filter: How Faked Beauty on Social Media Hurts Our Self-Esteem
Social media filters that can perfectly remove blemishes like pimples, bring out the best parts of themselves, and even add makeup virtually just set up an impossible standard of appearance. The comparison made in most social media platforms between users and social media influencers creates a perfect persona that is false to real life, causing self-esteem and confidence issues in individuals ( Beauty A List 2022). When we finally achieve becoming a part of these flawless photo shoots we find ourselves trapped with derTerms and a deep discomfort with what we perceive. Unceasingly being exposed to manipulated visuals can indeed ruin our personal investment in beauty and compromise our self-identity. When looking into a mirror we might see the most honest version of ourselves and possibly feel discouraged or uncomfortable as a result of our natural features. A person may develop an unhealthy body perception issue, accompanied by a negative self-image, with more negative emotions in the young population, which is still under development. Besides that, the extended application of filters may inure you to the extent that you feel unpleased with your own face or body since what you see are the ones that are not true.

Embracing Authenticity: Redefining Beauty Beyond Filters
We are immersed in social media, a realm that gratifies us with virtual filters and the plea of flawless looks. As such, it is important to reconsider and reflect upon this tangible idea of beauty. Although the filters are necessary to reach those heights of beauty we envisage, it is equally important to bear in mind their awkwardness and the influence it has on our outward appearance. Authentic beauty is not a mere illusion that comes along with perfection shown through the filters, genuine beauty lies far beyond, e.g. kindness, empathy, intelligence, etc. It embraces our flaws, glorifies our uniqueness, and serves as a sanctuary in a world where people are too obsessed with manicured nails. Seeking a way to escape the picture made of airbrushed characters, we should break such beauty filters. Make up your own mind about what beauty is and how it can be presented throughout social media. Immediately we understand why it is so crucial to be authentic. It is the thing that gives us our power and allows us to be ourselves – beyond blemishes and imperfections. It is no longer just about unashamedly accepting the things we cannot control but about embracing our imperfections with all the courage we possess. When we stand for an authentic way of doing things, an inner quality is revealed that appeals to something higher than external beauty itself.

I feel cacao would def need heat pads since i hc that pomegranate’s spell altered how his soul jam resonates with him, therefore making the ‘cursed’ form more easy to be triggered by negative emotions, whilst also keeping the usual triggers of say trying to use magic with little to no mana or if a spell fails under stress (but he doesnt use spells so guess thats one good thing, but overuse of his soul jam may also contribute to its trigger)
But it also made the transformation alot less…magical, i guess? And alot more visceral and agonising.
Ayo that's a really interesting hc though, though the form sort of mixing with his body doesn't sound very nice
In that case then he would definetly need those, plus some therapy too

halfa reaper au loredump i put wayyy too much thought into the mechanics sorry
reapers are still sort of like canon halfas they transform (although now its literally more like a magical girl transformation) and gain ghost abilities but its less so they are ghosts, they are their own thing. more like cousins to ghosts. they have ghost like abilities that make them very efficient at hunting them down thats it. theyre efficient in that they have slower metabolism and decreased need to sleep. they get their power from being infused with a piece of the ghost zone into their soul which stems from some sort of incident with a portal. dani was just formed via ghost zone shes a special case.
a reaper’s main duties are to hunt down and send ghosts back to the ghost zone as well as guide souls on the surface to the afterlife. danny other duty is to deal with vlad. all reapers answer to thanatos who is the emissary for the ghost zone she goes by many names but danny calls him thanatos. they are effectively danny’s boss.
reapers have unique weapons that house their soul (takes the form of a fire) and its seen in a lantern on their weapon. danny has a scythe, vlad has a sword, and dani has a bow (tentative). the fire is essential to their wellbeing like its a good measure of how their overall health and is fueled through ectoplasm hence the need to go to the ghost zone for a little. if it were to extinguish (through overuse of their power or idk someone dumping holy water on it) the reaper effectively “dies”. they can be revived if someone reignites their lantern with a ghost portal. but their body can still decay. if you want to really make sure they die you would have to destroy the lantern so the soul no longer has a cage or literally do anything to make it so their soul stays out.
they also have familiars called anima that help them track down ghosts and carry souls to the afterlife and also allow for communication to thanatos. since theyre formed through the soul, it’s impossible for reapers to lie because the anima always gives them away. danny has crows, vlad has vultures (tentative) and dani has wolves. because of their connections to ghost portals they can sort of slip in between reality between the living world and the world of the dead. they can in theory form portals but its hard and only vlad rlly knows how to.
they also have a sort of. upgraded form if they use their ghost zone soul and project it. grants them more power and a new outfit. danny’s is called eternal although its a unique case. vlad’s is called idk its either infernal or ultimate. dani’s is called either infinite or unbound. i am not good with names sorry.
oh and they can sort of enchant items with their energy. reaper weapons are the only thing that can seriously injure a reaper but enchanted items can also do that. danny can say enchant a baseball bat for his friends. vlad enchants weapons for valerie which makes her. not exactly a reaper but she is a hunter.

I have some lore questions! What are all the visible features from the species we can choose the mc to be?(like wings, sharp teeth, etc) Also, do nephilim, cambions, and dracas always have their wings out or can they hide it?
Banshees - Look like normal humans. Unless you see them wailing, in which case you might see a dozen or so spirits of the dead. If their eyes are open, you’ll notice they turn a glowing white.
Sirens - A tail in water for some, while others have legs even in the water. Sharp teeth. Retractable claws, but even retracted they remain harder and sharper than a humans.
Cambions - Wings with velvety skin that come to points at the tips, some very powerful families (like Theo’s) have the ability to transform into their wings, making them easily hidden. When they transform, their eyes have black sclera surrounding their irises.
No cambion has horns unless they come directly from a demon (i.e. one of their parents literally came from Hell). If you see a cambion with horns…use your own discretion! They might not fuck your shit up, but they totally could if they wanted.
Nephilim - Wings covered in soft feathers. Again, some have the ability to transform into their wings (the Riveras) but most don’t. Most nephilim have tan wings, but pure white are the most coveted in high society. Other colors (black, raven blue) are considered unusual, though some few find them more appealing than white because of their rarity.
Nephilim have a ring of white around their pupil. Urban legend says the better they get at seraphic magic, the more the white covers their iris.
Draca - Definitely the most obvious not human species. Only the strong bloodlines have wings (Vik’s dad) and they can’t transform into them, they stick around always. Draca typically have horns of varying sizes (like Vik’s) and their canines are razor sharp but not long like the fangs of a basilisk. They also have retractable claws.
Draca sometimes have patches of scales covering skin that was recently wounded. For example, Vik’s sister Sofia accidentally burned his cheek with a curling iron. So while that heals, his cheeks has a few patches of scales.
Sorcerer - Mostly look human unless they’re using magic that’s draining. Then they get temporary impressions of the magic on their hands and up their arms (temporary lightning scars for lightning elemental magic, burn scars for fire, visible bulging veins for water, frostbite scars for ice, etc). Overuse of healing magic is…particularly brutal.
This goes for all species, though, not just sorcerers. This is just the only time they look non-human.
Basilisk - Their canines are elongated into fangs and their pupils are slitted like a snake’s. Beyond that, they’re cold to the touch, being cold-blooded.

Hazformers Theory: I Think Husk & Alastor Might Actually Be Older Than Blitzwing...
[Note: do NOT reblog without my permission. also reading this post is optional, meaning no one has to read this post at all if they don’t want to. ] 
first of all, love Blitzy-Blitzwing’s Hazformers and I am still reading the chapters, and I’m still on one of them at the moment, and will catch up on the new one when I get to it....
(also this is just a theory, and not one has to take it seriously...)
but anyway, I’m not sure this will be canon to the story or even brought up in the art.....but I think that both Husk and Alastor, might be much older than Blitzwing....
like he could of been a sparkling when Husk or Alastor had kicked the bucket.
my theory on this, has to do with what century it is in the TFA Universe, when Optimus and his team that is made up of Ratchet, Prowl, Bumblebee and Bulkhead....all wake up in the 22nd Century, as that is when TFA takes place....well technically later on when Optimus and his team finally wake up from their stasis, and Decepticons start to show up on Earth....well Megatron was already there, but I mean the Other Decepticons...

Isaac Sumdac found Megatron's head in the year 2057 in the 21st century and it was in the year 2107 in the 22nd Century that Optimus Prime and his team woke up from their stasis.
and if Sari's 8th birthday was on 2107, that would mean her year of birth (and the same year Megatron went through the budding.)
that would possibly be 2099, and the Great War between The Autobots and Decepticons might of started around 10 million years ago but year that happen who knows.
but if the Ficto-Earth in Transformers Animated takes place in 2057 and then 2107, I guess that would make sense if it really is the 22nd Century in the show.
so while in the start of the first episode of TFA, when Optimus and his team found the Allspark, it was still the 21st century on Earth and even when they ended up on Earth (along with Megatron), it was still the 21st century.
and if time passes differently in Hell in both the Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss,
then they might not know it had became the 22nd Century, well not Overlords or other Sinner Demons....
Charlie’s Bubble Butt of a Dad, perhaps keeps that info secret just for the fun of it.....
but anyway, it is possible that the much older Autobots and Decepticons, were much younger during the centuries that both Husk and Alastor were born and died in.....and Blitzwing along with other younger Mechs, Femme and Nonbinary Cybertronians, were perhaps not born yet until somewhere around almost close to the end of the 21st Century, and while Blitzwing became young adult mech on the same ship that Megatron was on, and would end up not returning to...because Megatron would end up on Earth and being found by Isaac Sumdac...
anyway I believe that Blitzwing, might actually be much younger than Husk and Alastor, and isn’t older than them at all, I know it is a weird theory....
but I believe it could be true, I mean in the TFA show, it starts out in the 21st century I think, but then later on in a time skip, it becomes the 22nd century.
I’m still gonna view Megatron as Sari’s Mom, because there is no way that her sparkling self had just magically appeared in Sumdac’s lab, which might be the same lab that Megatron was in, and his head must of went through the budding stage, because one of the other ways that Cybertronians can have sparklings/hatchlings/baby protoforms, is by Asexual Reproduction. 
just in case....I’m adding the “mature audiences only” and “not for kids” tags for this....     
Cybetronians don’t have to misuse Cybertron’s living metal to make protoforms....because if Autobots overuse it and misuse the living metal from the canyons of Cybertron, they are both hurting the Planet and Primus.
anyway all fans, well maybe not all, but some....
know that Megatron is not only Sari’s second Dad, but also her Mom.
Sari got her Human DNA from her human Dad, Professor Isaac Sumdac,
but she got her Cybertronian CNA from her Cybertronian Dad, Megatron.
it still be funny and cute if Blitzwing ever found this out, his Random side might decide to throw Megatron a very late sparkling shower. XD
anyway, Alastor and Husk died in the 20th Century, so if Blitzwing was in theory born around in the early 21st century, then even if he did grow from just a cute adorable hatchling/sparkling through out the many years in the 21st century....
he might of died around in the 22nd Century, while those two died in the 20th Century.
also when it does get to Mother’s Day, I’m so going to do a drawing with Sari and Megatron....Megatron can’t deny that he is Sari’s Mom.
I’m not sure what else to say about this theory, that has to do with Blitzwing being a lot younger than Husk and Alastor, but given that the century in the TFA does start out in 21st century possibly, and then went to 22nd century in the time skip after Optimus’s Team and Megatron ended up on Earth....
well, and possibly making Sari’s birthday being 2099...
well Sari’s Dad did bring up the word “22nd Century” and it’s possible that the timeline in the show does at first start out in the 21st century, possibly in 2057 which would be the same year that Isaac finds Megatron.
and at some point, Megatron’s offline self (a Cybertronian can be offline or online when it happens....) goes through the budding stage, and Sparkling Sari ends up being born and is a few minutes later after being born, Isaac finds her in his lab (which is also the same lab that Megatron is in.)
he touches the liquid metal newborn, gets a shock and gets knockout cold, then wakes up to find that the liquid metal body was replaced with a newborn baby human, who would become his daughter and who he will end up naming Sari.
also the whole Cybetronians having sparklings/protoforms by Asexual Reproduction, is in fact Canon.
and this can possibly happen when the Cybertronian is either online or offline....so I know it wont happen, but I’m speaking as a “what-if” type talk, to explain the Cybertronian Asexual Reproduction....
even if Blitzwing is in Hell, and like the same one that Husk and Alastor are in....
there could be a chance that his original body, that is still in the mortal world....
could end up going through the budding stage, which would of course make Blitzwing a “Mom” or you could say “Dad”.....
another chance could be that another human ends up touching the sparkling and it ends up scanning the human’s DNA and becoming like Sari.
but in theory, even if that did happen, it might take a VERY long time for the budding stage to start, I mean it clearly did for Megatron when he ended up budding and having Sari....
he ended up on Earth possibly in the year 2057, and didn’t end up having Sari until 2099....
so in theory, for some cases of Cybertronians going through the budding stage, it could take many years for it to happen.
 and well of course since this also talks about the whole Family thing with Megatron, Isaac and Sari, I had to add them into the tags...                           
 but this will still be about Blitzwing being much younger than both Husk and Alastor, which I still think it could be true....but even if it is just a theory, I’m not sure it would be confirmed.
but if they ever talk about the years and centuries they were born, and maybe the year and centuries they died....
then after Husk and Alastor hear about the century that Blitzwing was born in and that he died somewhere in the 22nd Century, they would both end up figuring out that they are indeed much older than Blitzwing.
which of course this is just a Crossover/Hazformers theory, and well for all I know the century in the Crossover version of Earth that is in Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss/Transformers Animated, might be slightly different than the one where in the TFA show, it goes from the 21s century and then time skips to the 22nd century.
I’m going to go play Fallout 4 for a little bit, then I’m going to watch a Transformers Movie and then after that, I’m going to read Becoming a Demon.

I’m still gonna try to draw another ship drawing between TFA-Perceptor and Amethyst from Steven Universe, and like I said before in that first crossover drawing, those two are married in that drawing, that is why Percy is wearing that wedding ring.....when I can I will draw a second ship drawing of those two.
maybe I should try to draw a ship drawing of Husk x Blitzwing....
I guess I will think about it....
but seriously, I don’t know what else to say about the theory that has to do with Blitzwing turning out to be much younger than Alastor and Husk...
you can thank the whole it starting out as the 21s century in TFA, but then the time skip going to the 22nd century, for that theory popping into my head.
I mean it might be possible that in the Transformers Animated, it starts out as the 21st century, when the Allspark is found and then when Megatron and Optimus’s Team end up on Earth.....and then it time skips to the 22nd Century, which would be when Optimus’s Team is brought out of stasis, and when Sari accidentally brings Megatron back to life.

Okay so I posted this a little later than I expected BUT here he is! My boy! Extra info under the cut :)

His Unique Magic used to transform him into a monster running on pure instincts, and leaving him almost dead on his feet from the massive drain on his magic. Nowadays, he has no problem controlling the transformation itself and can at least function better once he transforms back into a human.
His magical abilities are quite powerful, though that’s in part due to all of the training he received as a child. Not that it means much now, as his magic reserves haven’t had a decent chance to recover lately.
He used to be able to recover his magic no problem, and while the constant overuse did originally help him learn to conserve magic, his body gradually forgot how to recover magic organically without the help of potions and the like. He’s been trying to relearn how to do so during his time in Twisted Wonderland, though it’s a slow process - think of it as physical therapy.
The scars on his neck go across the back of his neck, though they’re barely visible from the front. If he were to leave his hair down, you wouldn’t see them at all.
The reason his hair is so long is simply because he never really thinks to cut it. It’s a bit of a way for him to mark time, honestly.
He doesn’t sleep well. Period. He does try, granted, but constant nightmares will indeed wear away at both your ability and willingness to sleep. In case you’re wondering...why yes, his nightmares do indeed have to do with his past :)
He wears gloves to at least cover up the scars on his hands. While he doesn’t mind the one on his face (he thinks it makes him look cool) and the one on his neck isn’t easily visible most of the time, he can’t stand looking at the ones on his hands.

how about before being isekai'ed to NRC mc was a vigilante? like a mix of daredevil and batman or like deadpool and red hood? imagining mc using martial arts or macgyvering unassuming everyday objects into weapons to defeat overblots instead of magic seem cool, the funniest scenario, mc using a wooden spoon, a slipper or even if you watched icarly a butter sock to hit and defeat an opponent would be hilarious
Honestly I love the idea of this scenario! Part of me always kind of wished with the overblots is that the MC would get involved somehow - I know it’d be dangerous, but who doesn’t love going a lil feral at some overblot monsters lmao ------
It’s like something straight out of a comic book. Sure, the same thing could be said about your situation - a self-made vigilante fighting to protect those close to you from idiots who think they’re smart enough to cause anything other than trouble - but getting straight up isekai’ed into another universe full of magic and fairy tale rewrites really takes the cake of weird situations you’ve gotten roped into. Guys in masks? You’ve seen them in abundance back home, so while the ‘extravagant’ nature of the headmaster is weird, it doesn’t really phase you. Being surrounded by a bunch of confused boys with vividly bright hair (and do some of those guys have razor teeth? You really don’t wanna find out if they do) and having a talking cat ranting your ear off about becoming the greatest wizard of all time...that’s around the time you figure out this isn’t just some elaborate kidnapping plot.
Being shacked up in this new world isn’t as bad a deal as you thought it would be, though going from physical fights every other week to just having to worry about classes was...an experience, to say the least, and takes a bit of getting used to in terms of putting your guard down. It isn’t long during your stay at Night Raven college that you start garnering attention too, and not just because of the circumstances surrounding your enrollment. Your way of dealing with things is a lot more physical than many of them used to; when Ace had first come to Ramshackle after being collared by Riddle, instead of asking what it was or what he’d done, you’d instead just sat him down and spent the better part of half an hour picking the lock. Granted, it wasn’t enough to crack Riddle’s magic, but Ace is pretty sure he heard something click open while you fiddled with the keyhole - and that was just a speck of some of your skills. 
The physical prowess and litheness that comes from your ‘profession’ were valuable assets back in your homeworld, and while you’re not there anymore you’re still able to make use of them in this world, or you try to, at least. It makes for a hell of an entertaining sight during Ashton’s classes - you’ve just about knocked everyone in your class on their ass at least once (both intentionally and unintentionally). It’s been useful getting to lessons too, though you’ve spooked more than a few of your fellow classmates when they’ve caught you scaling the side of the building to skip the stairs and make it to class on time. You’ll never forget the shriek Ace let out when you dove through the window, skidded across the floor, and slid seamlessly into your seat right before the professor came through the door. Things like that have earned you more than a few skeptical looks, but it’s also led to more than a few people coming up to you to ask how you do it.
Just because you’re in a school setting doesn’t mean you slack off on your training. If anything, it means you have to train all the more to make sure you’re not growing rusty - you’re not about to get left in the dust just because all of these guys have wands and this ‘unique magic’ business at their disposal. That being said the lack of a fighting partner makes things difficult; when you first get settled into Ramshackle you find plenty of furniture beyond repair that you’ve been able to use, and with everything being such a cluttered mess it makes for the perfect obstacle course as you fight to clean it all up. But you’re missing your training buddies, and as much as Grim gets on your case about you being his subordinate, you’re not about to get expelled for fighting your magical feline housemate...not just yet, anyway. You do look around for some sparring partners though, and you find some pretty damn good ones in the process. Deuce is one of the first, being quite the fighter in the past, but given that it’s a skill he hasn’t actively trained it doesn’t take long for you to - quite literally - sweep his feet out from under him. Jack’s fairy competent too thanks to all of the muscle, so sparring with those two at once has given you something to bond over after school. As you got to know more students, you found a pretty good training buddy in Rook - you guess being a hunter has its perks, and isn’t that far off from being a vigilante, but it gives you one hell of a lesson to avoid getting on his bad side.
They’ve seen you make impromptu weapons out of things before - you just about took Floyd’s head off with a spatula when he’d rushed through the door unannounced, and Grim keeps finding the ends of the kitchen’s wooden utensils sharpened to a point when he sneaks down for late night snacks. You’re guessing old habits die hard, and it's tricky business completely stopping some of your more bizarre daily tasks. 
Looks like those same skills come in handy when the overblots happen however! It’s not as though anyone gives you a crash course on magic overuse and overblotting, so when you see Riddle transform and watch that huge, tank of a thing start forming up behind him you have what you’d like to call, a reasonable reaction. The boys are preparing to fight their overblotted friend when a tea cake stand comes sailing overhead and nails the being behind Riddle directly in the face - or pot, you guess. 
The thing is at least physical, which means you can hit it, and your friends are too preoccupied with Riddle to stop you from barging into the fray with just about every impromptu weapon you can get your hands on. Plates, cups, shoes, amongst other things shower the air as you close the distance, and at one point you end up hoisting up one of the garden chairs and swinging it up at the jar head until you have enough momentum to let go. The sound of shattering glass has you letting out a triumphant holler as you backtrack to avoid the spew of ink that spatters across the floor, cracks fanning out across the inkpot‘s surface as its hands fly up to its broken ‘face’ and it howls as though appalled by your audacity.
Whether that actually has a hand in finishing the fight or not, it isn’t long after that the overblot incident passes and Riddle collapses; however, that’s not before you get a couple more hits in, just about bringing the overblot to its knees by the time it finally dissipates for good. Once the Heartslabyul dorm leader is back on his feet and led away to rest and recover somewhere less demolished, that’s when the attention is focused back on you. 
There’s more than a few comments about you getting involved in the fight when you have no magic - some comments are admonishing, telling you to be more careful and to not be so reckless; others however are more than a little intrigued by the turnout. Ace just about knocks you over when he claps his hands onto your shoulders and demands to know how the hell you learned to move like that, and Grim is more than a little puffed up bragging about how of course his lackey would be so useful. It catches you off guard - you’re so used to just doing this in your day-to-day life that having someone admonish or praise you is...nice, in a way. It reminds you of when you first took up the vigilante mantle, and you find yourself brimming with excitement at the thought. If they think what you did then was neat, just wait till you tell them about all of your escapades in your home world! You’ve got enough to keep em hooked for days.
