Queer Books for Spooky Season!

i have read and enjoyed all of these, and have organized them in such a way that makes sense to me and hopefully peaks your interest! most are straight-up horror, but some just have horror / spooky themes.

[please note, not all these books have overtly queer characters / relationships, but are included because they have queer authors and/or queer characters, plots or themes. don’t want people to go into any of these books expecting romance.]

Spooky & Sapphic

The Locked Tomb series by Tamsyn Muir. everyone on tumblr knows about this series. it’s a science-fantasy, it’s got lesbian necromancers in space, it’s got mysteries and intrigue, and i would describe it as a “fun” read but please know my idea of fun includes body horror, grief and spooky vibes.

The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling. the vibes of this one are off the charts. story is told from the perspective of a lone caver on a foreign planet, as she communicates with her dive suit’s handler. it’s tense and suspenseful, lots of survival-fiction vibes, and it’s exactly how i want characters to flirt: via coms only, as one fights for their life.

Yellow Jessamine by Caitlin Starling. this one’s a weird little gothic novella about a shipping magnate who’s confined to her creepy estate as a mysterious plague runs rampant through the city.

Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke by Eric LaRocca. this novella is told via early-2000s chat logs and emails between two women as they develop one of the most unnerving relationships i’ve ever read. gross things happen! this one’s polarizing! but i loved it so much. absolutely unhinged vibes.

Parasites, but Goth

Leech by Hiron Ennes. most of this book is told from the POV of a parasitic hivemind called the Institute, which uses host bodies to act as physicians for the rest of society in a post-apocalyptic, gothic setting. and it gets weirder from there. it’s an honestly quite beautiful exploration of bodily autonomy, identity, and trauma.

What Moves the Dead by T. Kingfisher. this is a retelling of the fall of the house of usher, and includes a spooky manor, fungal parasites, possessed wildlife, and the exact kind of unsettling atmosphere that i love in a horror book.

Sorrowland by Rivers Solomon. this story follows a teen mother who’s escaped from a cult and is now undergoing a fungal metamorphosis in the forest. big thriller/survival vibes and some truly excellent commentary about oppression, trauma and societal secrets.

Could Vampirism be Gayer? (yes, actually)

A Dowry of Blood by S.T. Gibson. "dracula’s polycule” is what sold me on this book, and while yes, it’s got polyamorous vampires, the heart of the story is about the dynamics of an abusive relationship, with a strong thread of hope throughout.

The Route of Ice and Salt by José Luis Zárate, transl. by David Bowles. i’m not usually one to categorize a book as Important (TM) but this novella definitely is that. it was originally published in the 90s by a mexican author, and it’s a reimagining of dracula’s voyage to england from the POV of the captain, a closeted gay man full of queer yearning. this book is beautiful and painful and challenging and yes, important. it’s also horny as hell so like, you’ve been warned lol. only recently has it been made available in english, too!

Science as Horror

The Echo Wife by Sarah Gailey. a short novel about a woman who’s recently separated from her husband, who in turn started a relationship with a clone of her. loved the character exploration in this, and it’s definitely got mystery/thriller vibes if you’re into that.

You’ve Lost a Lot of Blood by Eric LaRocca. this is a vibe-heavy, kind of trippy novella which features a story-within-a-story. don’t want to give away too much of the plot here because it’s a wild ride.

and finally, here’s some honorable mentions, at the end here because i didn’t love them. but you might!

Just Like Home by Sarah Gailey (haunted house personified, exploration of dysfunctional family)

OMG HIIII TYSM???!!! i honestly wasn't expecting any asks hehehe……

soooo basically i have a whole bunch of neopets ocs and almost all of them live on terror mountain in happy valley!! i made up a school/university called the mountain lodge that they all go to (because on neopets they almost all live in the neolodge onsite ehehe.. it started as just me imagining they were all staying at the same hotel together and then sort of took on a little life of its own <3) at this point i have almost 25 characters and i sort of divide them into little groups, more or less? the main group is made up of the pets i had on my main account, and thats tututykee, cinnabro, wellira, sabrina (the lupe), confetticream, and sabrina5043! they're two different families; Cinna is dating tykee, and wellira is dating sabrina :3 my next other "main" group which currently is actually getting way more attention than that original group is what i affectionately call "the dork polycule" and thats made up of kyohvu, cyvny, lewis, holly, and tsukiyori! they like to play dnd and other dorky games together, and the core of it is made up of kyohvu cyvny and lewis who all have like a betty and veronica thing going on LMAO lewis and cyvny are always fighting over kyohvu, who knows theyre both into him but hasn't really settled one way or another… and ultimately it doesn't really matter because all three of them are basically in a throuple anyway ahahaha the rest of them all have little groups of their own as well but tbh i still haven't really developed them very much!! they're more or less just auxiliary characters for the ones in the two main groups :3 the only real exceptions i think are serlux and rorie!! serlux is an usuki doll that came to life one day along with tsukiyori :D they're basically like the neopets equivalent of barbie and ken, but while tsuki is going to school at the mountain lodge, serlux is adventuring around the world searching for the mad wizard who he believes cursed his owner (along with bringing the two dolls to life). and rorie is a kind of bratty popstar who is pretty good at seeming wholesome and like a boy next door for the cameras but in reality is kind of a tool. his manager is sabrina5043 and they're kind of together?? its kind of complicated hehe. he also attends the mountain lodge, and is on a touring hiatus after a minor scandal caused his label to pull back from him a bit. he's also possibly implicated in a villainous plot to take over neopia?? its unclear but there is a secret agent at the school (bittssy) tailing his every move to learn more hehe

and wow that was a shitload of text sorry!!! i didn't even go into detail on most of those little guys but i hope this was kind of interesting to read anyways!!! thank u again so so much for sending me an ask tehe they take up so much of my brainspace its nice to tell someone else about them!!!

what is roswell about? i've never seen anyone else post about it but you've got me intrigued

Ooh, join us! Roswell New Mexico has 4 seasons (2019-2022) with 13ish eps each; it was on the CW and is available on Netflix. (It’s a remake of a 90s or early 00s show just called Roswell. That one’s on Hulu and I’ve only seen a few episodes.) Overall, it’s about aliens living in Roswell and their human friends/love interests, plus a few alien-related mysteries. Most of my summary will be about season one and I’ll leave the rest for you to see for yourself.

Liz (human) comes back to Roswell ten years after high school, discovers her high school crush is an alien, and then finds out her sister had been killed by aliens. This and other developments lead to their whole social circle getting in on the secret and there’s a bunch of love triangles.

If I knew who you were, dear anon, I’d tailor this to what fandoms we’ve already got in common but to cover some of the likely options and their high level comparisons: If you like Leverage, this has found family and the love triangles can easily be shipped as throuples/polycules. If you like The Magicians then same as leverage plus canon queer characters and magic(technically science) powers. If you like Supernatural, there can be a lot of overlap between malex and destiel (for better and worse). If you’re still here from my Torchwood days, again queer characters with messy relationships and a lot of snark.

Let’s introduce some of the characters!

In the Pod Squad (the three main aliens), we’ve got Isobel, Max, and Michael (left to right in gif). Max and Isobel were adopted together and grew up as the Evans twins while Michael was a foster kid but all three are inseparable. Isobel starts off the series as someone whose identity is mainly focused on wife/sister/volunteer but breaks down her walls and grows into a total badass. Often portrayed in fanon as “the woman with the brain cell” for better or worse. Max is a writer-turned-cop and total romantic who has been pining for his high school crush (Liz) for over a decade and risks his family secret in order to save her and struggles with choosing between her safety and his family’s. Michael is an angsty bisexual mechanic with a troubled past and became many people’s blorbo on sight. He too has a high school sweetheart (Alex) who he’s never gotten over but grows enough to find healthy relationships and let people in. They all have various powers including telekinesis, healing, and mind control/influencing.

And now for Team Human! Liz is a scientist who left town after graduation because her sister died from (apparently) drunk driving and gets shot an hour after she returns. The lack of being dead causes her to investigate/confront her crush (Max) and learns about aliens, leading to the realization that her sister was killed by an alien and the crash was a coverup. The first person who she brings in is her ex-boyfriend, Kyle, a jock-turned-surgeon with a strong moral compass who tries to rein in the mad scientist tendencies of his ex-girlfriend (who he still has feelings for).

Next in on the whole alien thing is Alex, a gay emo who had a secret thing with Michael in high school before leaving to join the Air Force. He’s back in town (minus a leg) and has his plate full with finding out that his abusive homophobic dad runs a secret military team hunting aliens and oh hey, his high school boyfriend turns out to be an alien! He’s best friends with Maria, a psychic who runs the local bar. Besides bartending, she splits her time between fortune telling as a side hustle, encouraging Alex about his old flame (secretly Michael), and nursing a crush on the local barfly/mechanic (also Michael).

(Fun fact: I have no idea how to use tumblr’s gif search so both of the human gifs were found through their respective throuple ship tags.)

There are plenty of ships around depending on your preference but the most prevalent is malex (Michael/Alex), it’s nearly inescapable. Echo is Max/Liz and generally well liked. Isobel starts off with a husband (Noah) but also gets other love interests. The two main throuples are malexa (malex plus Maria) and kaliz (echo plus Kyle).

hlo, what's your opinion on... paneer (cottage cheese) ? oh, or.. uh .. if you have ocs, can you tell me about em'?

I have to be in the right mood to eat cottage cheese and also I need a buttload of lactaid to do so, so I avoid it.

As for OCs, I've written a few novels but I haven't published them for a bunch of reasons: I can't decide on a pseudonym, I'm afraid of criticism, and I never feel like I'm fully finished, and I really don't understand the publishing industry.

Everyone in my stories is extremely Appalachian and queer. Most of them are bisexual disasters. Or other kinds of disasters. There are heavy themes of standing together, stronger together. United we stand, divided we fall. People don't complete each other, but they do need each other.

The latest I'm working on is a murder mystery about a double homicide on opening night of a local community theatre company's show. The elderly costuming supervisor doesn't trust the police so takes it upon herself to solve the case. Upon further investigating, she discovers a secret world involving a private BDSM club, love affairs among the cast and crew, and workplace intrigue among the venue stagehands, who are secretly organizing to unionize. The show must go on, and anyone could be a killer. Hopefully this Appalachian grandma is tougher than she looks.

The one before that was about a messed up 30-something trans man returning to his estranged polycule's Appalachian commune for the winter, only to realize something dark is happening in the holler. A new church has moved in that's impossibly big for the region. Something is attacking the livestock at night. The formerly welcoming neighbors are changing, turning hostile. A corporation is trying to buy up the woods to build a resort. Their entire lifestyle and maybe their lives are in danger.

I'm also working on a screenplay that's a coming of age story for queers in their early 30s. It follows 5 friends returning to their college town for their mutual friends' funeral. They're struggling with aging and grief and their lives in general. It's mostly comedic, with dark undertones. I'm hoping to produce it within a couple of years.

Week 5: Sweet or Steamy - Posted Chapter One of Keeping All My Secrets Safe Tonight last Friday. It crossed over with my TSB KINK: Deep throating and SAUB AU: Spy squares and came in at 1466 words including the original ficlet. Due to the time crunch, I only got a bit of steaminess going, but am working on Chapter Two, which is up to 562 words and will include Tony's mission as well as the encounter between Steve and Tony alluded to in Chapter 1.

All Caps Bingo [ACB_R1] (Ends 30 Sep)

I’ve got twenty completed fics, and four WIPs and am in good shape for a blackout, since I'm finally starting on the "The hell I can’t! I’m a Captain!" challenge.

* Row 5 (One Fill, One Bingo). “Man, shut the hell up!”, Alpha Bucky Barnes, James Rhodes, Humping, Competitive Idiocy. I'm about 255 words into Sam and Rhodey working to get their alpha besties together after watching them pine over each other for way too long.

* N2 - Sex Toys - Filling this with the upcoming Chapter Five of Finding Something Fresh - Beta!Sub!Bucky and Omega!Dom!Steve enjoy their first sexual scene together. It will cross over with my SVB Tied to a Bed square. It's up to 988 words and will hopefully post Friday.

* G1 - Isaiah Bradley - Planning to add more to The Fist, Defeated. (possibly present day)

* G3 - Established Relationship - planning to fill this with Chapter 2 of Half of the Flesh and Blood That Makes Me Whole - a Bucky POV remix of at least the first part of Take What Was Wrong (And Make it Right), which is current sitting at 52 words. I’m expecting at least one more chapter, possibly two, depending on how far I want to take the remix.

* O3 - Pararescue Sam Wilson - Wrote a remix of Falling For You from Sam’s POV as a crossover with @flashfictionfridayofficial prompt: [#FFF212 Gotta Go Fast]. Braking Their Fall came in at 607 words and will post to Ao3 before this event is over.

I have five fills and one WIP - I need to work on cross fills between this and the All Caps, Bucky Barnes and Captain Bottom bingo!

I have sixteen fills completed and two WIPs for this brand-new bingo event that I’m helping mod! Along with crossfilling against my other bingos, I’m going to try to combine my B column squares for the Iron Soldier badge (complete a bingo with a single work). – Alpha Tony Stark, “That was not my intention.”, James Rhodes, Alpine loves Tony and Blind date. (Tony POV remix of A Sugar Coated Pill?)

* N1 - Bucharest – I think I can fold this into a future chapter of My Love is Vengeance - where a young!Tony and a recovering!Bucky have been kidnapped by Hydra, who still thinks Bucky is the Soldier.

* G2 - Eye contact during sex - This will come into play in Chapter 6 of A Sugar-Coated Pill, where Bucky figures out what making love really means, with Tony’s help. It’s crossing over with BBB KINK: Gentle Sex and is up to 312 words.

* G4 - AU: College Students – looking to expand Beaten to the Punch with some backstory on Bucky and Tony as science camp counselors to fit with this square - will also cross over with my WFB Volunteering Together square.

* O5 - Gentle – use this poem as inspiration?

Stucky’Verse Bingo Round 1 - [SVB_R1] (Ends 22 Dec)

Ten fills, three WIPs and a couple of ideas.

* A1 - Harem - crossover with CABB Secret/Forbidden Relationship - Bucky and shrimpy!Steve are both concubines - they love each other more than their lord. I poked at this a little last week and have 71 words.

* A4 - Fairy Tale Curse - this seems custom-made for a continuation of Beyond the Beast😁 Nothing written yet, other than some Vague Ideas.

* B3 - Tied to a Bed – Chapter Five of Finding Something Fresh - see ACB Sex Toys above. 😁

Bucky Barnes Bingo - [BBB_R5] (Ends 10 Jan 2024)

I’ve got eleven fills, four WIPs, and a couple more Vague ideas.

B2 - KINK: Seduction Mission - might add a new chapter to Card Sharks - where Sam/Natasha and Steve finish what they started to get Bucky onboard for a poly partnership.

U1 - Never the fall that kills you - I’ve got a WinterIron hanahaki fic idea for this that I might play with.

U3 - Fireplace - Working on a 1980′s No Powers WinterIron fic set at a ski lodge where Tony’s being wooed by poetry and love letters that Bucky wrote to someone else. Started poking at this as a crossover with a Love Letters prompt and it's sitting at 129 words.

My #1 post of 2022

Don't think I've seen this pointed out yet, but Susie saying this to kris implies we're in for some really great Toriel content in chapter 3, a very high chance for some fun susie and toriel interactions, and perhaps toriel being a little silly and finally letting loose a little 👀

It's also possible they'll get to talk to asgore some more in hometown, and/or that asriel will be back! Toriel said asriel will be there next week, and most people figure that since there was talk of no school and going to church, chapter be 3 will be Sunday... Maybe he'll come home on Monday?

Edit: upon further thinking, I think chapter 3 will probably just take place overnight and chapter 4 will be Sunday, since that'd give kris and Susie the time they need to explore town. Makes me feel Asriel is less likely - could still happen if he decides to surprise them a day early though, or if toriel considers Sunday the first day of the week!

Having finished Hyde and Seek like 3 days after release here are some of my thoughts. There's gonna be some stuff implied so read with caution, i wont say outright but ill talk abt the implications. Sorry most of this is Alan rambling I have brainworms and I'm ill.

-Alan is literally my malewife. Love at first sight, if Noah is my little meanwhore Alan is my malewife. I love their big boobs.

-Pollie>Sally. My heart dropped when Alan tried to ask Sally out like out of all people, Sally? Good news though hes single by the end.

-Pollie is literally that one tumblr post where its like let women be pathetic little meow meows too. She is the definition of a pathetic meow meow and i love her for that.

Hey Alan, Alan, how old were you when this happened. IF YOU WERE LIKE 15 AND IF SHE WAS LIKE YOUR BABYSITTER IM CONCERNED. Its between this and a joke MazM made that his siblings were his secret lovechildren, thing is Alan is 21, his siblings are 7, that is a really dark implication. You can't just say that Alan.

-Yasssss Pollie and Kate are girlfriends, they we're LITERALLY ROOMMATES. OH MY GAH.

-After reading Sallie backstory I feel sorry for her, she can join the Kate polycule.

-M I H I R. mihir. Just mihir. I called him a DILF and my friend was like "hes 25" 👁👄👁. The stress and his monocle made him look older.

-He represents my culture very well! A little fun fact, the sun pin he has is a religious symbol, ironic considering hes a criminal. My friend said its the equivalent of a mafioso boss wearing a cross.

-The fact that he used to write poems but his dad called them shit. The true asian experience, having your parents disapprove of your hobbies.

-I actually love the subvertion of stereotypes and tropes here. I have personally never heard of this stereotype till yesterday but there's one abt Irish people where they are redheaded lazy drunks. Then there's Alan who's such a hard worker and a good boy and and and ehwbhsgrnehehsneghsha. The stereotype that Indians are either stupid or h word. Mihir is none of those things, he's eloquent with his words, witty, and very respectful. The trope of cute dainty maids gets subverted by Pollie and Kate.

-The Kate and Pollie duality. Now I'll be talking abt tropes here but do not take it as my opinion on gender expression, I'm just using things MazM has done b4 + popular media.

Pollie constantly calling herself a lady and dressing in fem clothes, bonus points for the blue. Although she would technically be the more masculine one because she loves to fight and gamble. Her face is also somewhat masculine, similar to Daejin Park in MazM Pechka!

Kate crossdressing and having to live as man would technically make her the more masculine one. But she's also the most feminine one with her soft face and for some reason media associates education with feminine? Idfk brawling is seen as more masc. But mazm rated these hands E for everyone.

-In Alan's introductory tweet he is stated to be a good fighter that holds back. In game the explaination for that is he doesn't want to get injured. I would've thought this was a set up to fighting Alan at one point. I'm a little dissapointed it didnt go that way qwq.

-That scene where Alan starts taking the drugs to stay active and assaults a customer was kinda terrifying. Well it's the scene after they mention that. But his angy face when he talks abt how much hes had to endure for his family, how he sometimes wished they were dead. Only for him to recoil in shock because that wasn't Alan. Hits me in my feelies.

-Mihir says trans rights, he asked his father to address Kate like a man bc she was living as one and he called it stupid. Mihir actually respects her though wjhejehehnehenejej.

-Alan if you keep complaining about my pants I'll shove you in a maid dress. Then youll realize how nice it is not to be constrained by gener.

-If you can't tell from my blog banner, I love older brother characters. The fucking angst but also hehe cute older brother type that cares heehoo im trash.

Headcanons such as pronouns, in-depth personalities and relationships, and other miscellaneous details. Liberal usage of memes. Will edit as I change/add ideas.

Color Gang in General

World’s most colorful polycule along with TSC 🦀. All the same height (taller than TSC).

Red: He/him. Most impulsive of the group + the nicest = himbo energy imo. LEEROY JENKINS indeed. Has so much energy he takes jogs around in the sticksfight.com house every morning. Bullied the most often in the group but they all hug him when he gets genuinely upset. The most socially active outside of their group, and has a lot of other stick figure friends on social media (as well as from monster school). Prefers stylish but relatively easy-to-put-on outfits. Is the first to get up to fight whenever someone insults his friends. You wanna fight??? Huh????? You gotta problem??????

Yellow: They/them. The most competitive of the group, but only by a slight margin. Insomnia just because they hyperfocus on something and boom suddenly it’s 5 hours past what is supposed to be bedtime. Wikipedia surfing is their best friend and also their worst enemy. Also the most philosophical of the group; asks questions about the nature of the soul and consciousness to the others until they beg them to please shut up Yellow, I’m trying to eat my baked potato and I keep having existential crises because of you. Closest to Blue. Prefers comfortable clothes—even their shoes have elastic laces.

Green: He/they. Has a Spotify Premium account but he won’t let anyone else use it. Plays music loud as fuck but as soon as someone breathes too loud while he’s composing he yells at them to pipe down. Never tells anyone where he’s going when he leaves ALANSPC so this becomes a common exchange: “Has anyone seen Green?” “He probably glitched out of existence again”. (He’s actually just exploring museum websites and Google Earth.) Always up in everyone else’s business when they try to build something decorative. Closest to TSC. The only person actually able to understand what “business casual” means.

Blue: She/they. Talks about the hat man but nobody knows what the fuck she’s talking about. (If you got that reference no you didn’t.) Likes watching cooking tutorial channels on Youtube. Once made actual cookies out of website cookies which disturbed the hell out of Alan. The rest of the Color Gang + TSC made and gave them a Blue Prize Ribbon for being the best cook and now she wears it everywhere. Has a secret garden hidden away somewhere that nobody knows about. Closest to Yellow. Wears either farmer gear or battle gear, no in-betweens.

Alan-Made Sticks

The Second Coming is the shortest. Victim, The Chosen One and The Dark Lord are the same height. TSC has a slightly bigger head size than the other three.

The Second Coming: He/they. SC for short (verbalized as Esse). Helps animate during the day/afternoon so doesn’t have the same sleep schedule as the Color Gang. Pretty chill person in general, people go to them for problems they can’t figure out and they give pretty solid advice most of the time. Probably a Genshin player /lh. Still thinks TCO took down TDL and revived everyone, because they don’t remember going super saiyan. Closest to Green. Wears clothes directly inspired by real-life clothing they see Alan or other humans wearing.

The Chosen One: He/she/they. Cho for short. Has trouble verbalizing/expressing herself, and prefers to let someone else do the talking/gesturing. He becomes a bit more open around TDL but it’s a subtle change. Posts ominous one-sentence (and sometimes one-word) posts on Twitter and/or Tumblr and nobody knows what the fuck they mean. Their posts are locked so you can’t retweet or reblog them. Everyone goes wild every time they post. “Thinking about salami on the ceiling.” What does it mean? There is no answer. Lives with TDL. Wears only outfits that look like they’re from a Marvel comic or an anime.

The Dark Lord: He/she. Dark for short. Very talkative and social unless she’s angry, in which case he’s the scariest sight you’ve ever seen. Eats horror movie files for breakfast. No, literally. Grinds up pirated horror movie files into bytes and puts it in a cereal box. Keeps up an Instagram but doesn’t show his face because then everyone would say “hey isn’t that the stickfigure that terrorized the internet for a while”. Thinks Marvel is cliche but then turns around and binge watches Madoka Magica and Bleach in one sitting. Lives with TCO after crawling out of the laser explosion TSC nearly killed him with and passing tf out. The most fashionable of them all.

Victim: She/they. If she were more conscious she would sign her name as “V”, but as-is, cannot remain coherent enough to remember or decide on a name. Can’t be seen. Lost data. Has her own influence on the flow of things ever so slightly—like letting SC become conscious, helping Cho break through the internet barrier just in time before the bluescreen, etc. Not conscious as much as they are just subconsciously drifting. ADOPTION STORY REAL (NOT CLICKBAIT)?!?!? Purple is the same height as the Color Gang. MT is taller than everyone, but Cho and Dark can float, so it doesn’t look like it. I imagine they move into MT’s house, considering we never see Purple’s.

Purple: They/them. Actually has a pretty solid set of morals regarding protecting your loved ones—they just hadn’t included the Color Gang in that category before. Has trouble developing a healthy balance on self-esteem and ambition-chasing because they’re afraid following through with any sort of goal or project will end up with them hurting others and failing again. Follows Dark’s instagram for fashion tips. Wants to open a flower shop someday, though they don’t realize it yet. Rickrolls someone once every six months. Might be crushing on Green and Red but they want to do a lot of working through their own issues before they act on any feelings.

Orange: He/him. You dropped your crown king Calls himself Orange but everyone else calls him MT for his Mango Tango color. Hates this. Hates it a little less when Purple does it. That’s not because they’re family now, what are you talking about. Doesn’t like to talk with people (anymore). Logical to a fault. Baffled at the fact that Purple is still willing to let him improve himself, but trying to make the most of it. I feel like he would like either story-heavy games or puzzle games (or games with both). A completionist at heart. Wears shit that looks like it’s from a vampire’s closet from the 16th century, and Florida dad shirts. There is no in-between.
