thinking about mizu from blue eye samurai. thinking. thinking so much. thinking about how mizu operates outside of gender. like we joke about her gender being revenge but straight up? it literally is. like she grew up as a boy and is most comfortable being a man, but behind that is the feeling of betraying himself because he isn't being honest about who he is and he lives in fear of being discovered. and when he lived as a woman, she found joy there as well. she fell in love, and though she wasn't good at it, she liked being a wife and enjoying a simple life. but in that life too, she isn't being honest about who she is. and when she reveals her true self, it's not a woman, she's a demon, a weapon. she's to masculine to be a woman, and too feminine to be a man. ultimately, mizu is most comfortable when they are being a murder machine. that's when they feel they are being the most true to themself. like a sword, they are neither man nor woman, but a blend of both, which makes them stronger.

people acting like twitter's new post count is gonna cause a mass exodus to tumblr.... this website's demographic has not changed in 865578 years and it sure as hell won't now. this is the site for people who were weird and unhappy in middle school. everyone on here has either been around since they were weird unhappy 13-year-olds or joined when they were weird unhappy 13-year-olds, left because they thought they were normal for a while, then came crawling back again when they realized deep down they were still weird unhappy 13-year-olds. what does this site possibly have to offer you if you grew up happy well-adjusted and unaware of homestuck

Someone commented on my recent Jason post that Jason was 11 when he became robin and 11 year old aren't that small which is funny to me bc firstly Jason was 12 when he became robin and secondly that post was specifically referencing an event that happened when Jason was 15 which yeah 11 year olds aren't that small but 15 year old Jason definitely was

the grip that good omens has on this site is insane. barbie was trending at #1 for a week and now it's not even trending at all because good omens has pushed it out. ofmd is trending just from the sheer amount of people drawing comparisons. nobody is normal here

I’ve watched two reactions for episode 9 so far where the people saw Ashley, didn’t recognize her, heard her voice and went “that’s Pike from The Legend of Vox Machina!” which is objectively the funniest way to recognize Ashley Johnson in this situation

Prompt 238
"Ugh. There's a group at the barrier again." Star squinted over the buildings they were all sprawled on almost lazily.
"Seriously? I thought the GIW would have given up by now since there's 'no more humans' here," Sam's voice was sarcastic as she combed claws through her hair.
The others grumbled in agreement, Valerie spreading her wings in a stretch.
"Who wants to bet Danny is already about to crash their intrusion?"
"Hah! I bet Dash is there already to video it!"
"Those are both suckers bets," Wes scoffed, clear eyelid closing over his eyes and temporarily dimming the glow. "Let's be honest, Paulina has already left, she's going to get there first."
- - -
The GIW have been having a bit of trouble. Maybe just a bit. See, they were supposed to be taking care of the ecto-entities. Studying them, y'know? But er, some earlier agents had been a bit trigger happy, which meant the entities were well... aggressive.
And a city full of dragon-fae-beings disliking any presence wearing white was rather terrifying, so they... might have gotten permission to bring a hero with them.
For protection of course.
...
Hopefully no one dies-
Feel free to ignore any of these pics lol, they're just ideas.
Order: Jazz, Danny, Tucker, Sam, Valerie, Wes, Dash, Kwan, Paulina, Star, Ellie, Dan
