trying to find a movie for my cousin to watch and im just flipping thru some classic disney ones. i say "what about lightyear?" the new buzz movie. this cousin (10 years old) goes "my mom wont let me watch it. it has homosexual stuff in it" obviously her christian mother wont let her watch something that supports an LBTQIA+ "lifestyle". but i forgot for one moment in the world that there are ppl who dont like that. that they would rather censor everything a 10yr old sees or reads bc it doesnt line up with what their religion says. i understand that much. i grew up with that. but it hurt. to be reminded that i will never be accepted in my family for who i truly i am. that this kid will never get to be around me if my aunt an uncle find out (if they even understand whats going on). that their kid cant watch a simple kids movie bc two girls kiss in it. they will never tell this kid our great uncle is gay or their cousin is trans or their other cousin is genderfluid and has had multiple girlfriends. theyll never know. bc that would mean they might support it? ik my dad knows and ik he doesnt support it. but this is smth a 10yr old wouldnt be able to process. not supporting this "lifestyle" but still knowing. still loving me. and yet they can watch spongebob. a horrible filthy show. they can watch pirates of the caribbean. theyre 10 and 11 yrs old!!

sorry for the rant but i just want these kids to be gone already and so many things have gone wrong today and messed up our original plans. dad has covid. kt is sick of them too.
