aka the Haunted Victorian Mansion AU

Something entirely different from my usual content for once ^^ Might do a 2nd part if y'all like it! // reblogs are extremely appreciated ~

This AU was created and developed by @althea-and-alcestris and I helped her with the lore! I was also able to include my Yuu OC Allen and his ship with Deuce 🫶

NOTE: The AU description won't go too much into detail for now in order to avoid potentially triggering topics.

About the AU

The Haunted Victorian Mansion AU combines elements from Ghost Bride (my friend's base concept/inspiration for this AU) with ones from Identity V (my influence).

A group of detectives are lured into a haunted mansion in promise of money, other valuables, and secret information on criminal cases if they "solve a riddle". Said mansion is inhabited by the ghosts of people who died tragic deaths and can no longer remember any details about how or why they died.

While they do automatically want to uncover the secrets of the dead, the detectives aren't aware of what the "riddle" on hand is. Nobody told them that if they don't figure out the reasons behind every single ghost's death until sunset, they're going to be trapped inside the mansion forever...

Hint: You may be able to guess why Malleus, Riddle, Floyd and Jade died in this AU based on their designs.

Somehow Jason(the toymaker) stumbled upon little Vicky,and him being him,thinking they wouldn't last around him for long,took them home

Somehow they and Candy(Pop) ended up together (YES ANOTHER OC X CANON THINGY FIGHT ME)

(Now) best friends with Claws,Alma and Jade(i haven't introduced her yet,she'll be next)

Claws is actually terrified of Vicky (lol)

With that said,Vicky has the ability to control time,they can stop the time for up to a minute...which is more than enough for Vicky to cause havoc,though they rarely use their powers anymore

Their hat has a little dimension in it with lots of clocks and mirrors(they're used to watch over different universes)

Their hammer is H E A V Y,like over 5 tons

Vicky is sort of a demigod,so they have huge strenght

And they're also buff(but still chubby cuz <333)

Anyways, doggo always hated me for some reason (I kept trying to show love and affection to her), but was literally an angel with everyone else?? Sure, go be nice to everyone but me, the person that takes care of you 😞💔 traitor dog..

The bunny was absolutely terrifying to leave alone for too long, though, and I always found her biting something or just chilling besides a wall, but was always the center of attention.. makes sense honestly; it's not everyday you just see a rabbit doing rabbit stuff..

I remember that my friends kept getting ambushed by the trio of animals just randomly going up to them and demanding affection, and I think the victims that suffered the most from this were: Akechi, Yusuke, Ann, and Ryuji.

Imagine being on working hours, investigating or doing something REALLY important, then you hear the sound of little paws just going your way and see a rabbit and a dog together along with a guy trying to reach them.. seems like there's something else to add to do “I'm sorry” list.. 🥰

I hate how I'm canon divergent in some areas because wdym I didn't have a rabbit that kept biting my hair and a dog that kind of hated my guts but still liked me enough to accept me giving it affection without rejecting me sometimes 💔

Rouxls Kaard

Rouxls takes Sam’s place. The new kid in town at 8 years old who moved from a big city to a small town. His parents, while not entirely neglectful, they do not pay much attention to him, focusing instead on his older sibling (tbd)

King

King takes the place of Kyle, Rouxls’ first friend in the new town. They met at a housewarming party for the Kaards and they quickly became friends. They hang out almost every day during summer and stuck together in school

Queen

Queen takes Kimbers place. The one with the brain cells basically. She’s the one who shows up on time, gets the best grades and who keeps the 3 of them tugging along. If she goes down, the other two are possibly done for. She’s very strong willed and is typically unaware when people are being too mean to her

Things I’m keeping the same

I’m keeping a lot of the premia the same, aswell as keeping the 4 parts. The first part being when Rouxls first moved in, going to the Triple Tree(gonna be named something else), hearing the metallic whirl, all that’s staying the same. The second part will be the start of high school while the third will be the end of high school. And of course part 4 will be the discovery. I’m keeping the ring and all that. If you’ve read the story you will know what will happen to Queen and King

Things I’m changing

King and Queen will not be dating. I know Kyle and Kimber date and that’s a big thing, but I have a way to work around that. There was no way I could keep that in while adding my own twists. Instead they’d have more of a sibling bond with rouxls while staying good friends with eachother. Instead of Queens mom, it’ll be her dad. Alot of that funeral scene would be changed to better fit my head canons but I will still try to be faithful to the original story. Of course I will not be able to include a lot of the details the original story had, such as a lot of the events that happen within the school or in Sam’s job with Meera. I will try to incorporate a lot of the charm the original had. Also should be pretty obvious, but I will change a bit of their personalities to better fit them, so King won’t be as aloof as Kyle and Queen won’t be as easy to upset as Kimber, though she’ll still be drastic.
