[meet the guard!] guard 003: kuroki hinode

(this was supposed to be posted yesterday but.. i forgor...)

HE'S FINALLY HERE!!! THE THIRD GUARD!!! AND ALSO RIKU'S BIG BROTHER!! LET'S GO!!!

he gets not one but two drawings bc he's a very special little boy (and also bc i feel bad for him since he got introduced late for obvious story purposes but like.. i really need to make more content for him..)

(also fun fact: the first drawing actually was done in july and the second one just a few days ago.. i can actually see some differences in my art style hehe..)

another note is that when i started to work on hinode's character, my first thought was that i kinda wanted to create another physically disabled guard character (since i think eiji can count as the first one because kei's treatment of him had not the best impact on his body), it just sounded like a neat concept! but i also didn't want to make him.. how do i explain.. too sympathetic, maybe? too squishy? what really annoys me as someone who is physically disabled is that characters like that are often used to make people feel bad for them and don't really have any personality OR they turn out to be the bad guys who only pretended to be disabled for pity points. so instead i've tried to make hinode's problems realistic and a lot of it comes from my own experiences, but i still wanted to make him morally gray and kinda.. you know.. kinda suspicious. (you're more than allowed to joke about punching him or putting him in a blender and all that)

Personality: Hinode isn't as outgoing as his brother, but he still enjoys talking to others, learning more about them and just spending time with other people. However, he's used to being alone, so he won't complain if it's not possible for him to talk to anyone at the moment. It actually might be better for him, since he gets tired quite easily because of his poor health and can't be active for too long. He feels sleepy most of the time, so please don't judge him for suddenly dozing off in the middle of the conversation, even if it's very important. He's not as passionate about justice as the other guards and mostly just wants to do his own thing, not caring about morals too much, but still having enough common sense to punish those who deserve it (in his opinion). He dislikes the physical kind of punishments because he believes that they're too "basic", since pain can easily scare anyone and there's nothing special about it. It's also possible that he doesn't like them because of his own experience with chronic pain, but to be honest, Hinode is lying when he says that he doesn't like to see people in pain. Yes, he believes that pain is the worst thing that could happen to anyone, even worse than death. But also, as someone who has no choice but to spend most of his days in pain.. Maybe he does want to see the prisoners feel the same way as he does. Maybe just a little bit. He still prefers the psychological punishments, finding them more "effective" and "suitable".. mostly because he's too weak to punish anyone physically.

His Milgram cover: Him and T1 Naomi are twinning and he'd cover Weakness! The lyrics remind me a lot of him and I think with an instrumental like that it'd be appropriate for Riku's brother to cover it.

His DECO*27 cover: Harinezumi. The lyrics remind me a lot of him in general, him trying to keep up with everyone even though his condition doesn't allow him and him feeling like a burden to others, especially his family, but also being jealous of Riku for being so popular, talented and living his best life (at least it seems so on the outside) ("I can still keep going! Jealousy, what a trifling thing", "Don't you sometimes feel a little dizzy? I'm sighing because I'm tired of my heart pounding", "People know their true forms after being broken and crushed") and also the song describes his dysfunctional relationship with Riku really well as two brothers who are both jealous of each other and who both want something the other has (Riku has friends, popularity, the time and energy to make music, meanwhile Hinode has the family's attention, others helping him and people not judging him for spending the whole day in bed) but who also still love each other and genuinely wish their life could go differently ("I'll embrace you, we won't be parted", "Don't be prickly with me, each time we touch, I throb. If I prick you, you might hate me, well, there's no way that will happen!.. At least, I think", "I'm an attention seeker! I want to be spoiled! I want to melt even more for you!") And also considering that one of them is extremely suicidal and the other one is afraid that his life won't be that long.. ("In the blink of an eye, which of us will die?")

His Non-DECO*27 cover: Waltz by Nashimoto-P. I imagine Hinode having this very soft and quiet voice that almost sounds like a whisper and I feel like it would fit the way Miku is tuned very well! Also the lyrics sound so much like him trying to cope with his condition, his relationship with Riku, other problems and slowly going insane in the process. ("Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, I ask what day is it today, regrettably thinking today will be a good time", "I don't know what's fun, but as I run out of things to do, I will accompany you", "My EKG is a straight line, I wonder how many decades ago") Some lyrics, especially the chorus remind me of the way he acts as a guard too. ("Stop trying to give up, the world is connected. Dance, smile, while you're being controlled. In the beginning, in the end, the details are non-existent. Don't resist, accept it, everything is connected") Also, Riku's T3 song is supposed to be by Nashimoto-P too, so :} They're matching!

His T3 Voice Trailer Voicelines:

"Ah, greetings, prisoners. Um, I apologize for such a late introduction, haha.. My name is Kuroki Hinode and I am the third guard of this prison. Nice to meet you. Starting from today, I'll be replacing Sanada Eiji-san as he's recovering. I hope we all get along. I'm really not the best person for this job, so I apologize if I end up falling asleep in the middle of the interrogation, haha.."

".. What was I supposed to do? I can't even get out of bed right now. If he wants to be saved, then I'm not the one who he should ask for help."

Trivia:

His eyes may not look like it because of the lighting on the first picture, but his eye color is supposed to be gray, meanwhile Riku's eye color is more of a mix of light green and gray.

Hinode's natural hair color is light brown, but a few days before Riku committed his crime, Riku suggested that he dyes Hinode's hair, hoping to make him feel at least a little better. They went with the brightest colors Riku had just for fun and it really did make Hinode smile and he was happy to spend time with his brother like that. In season 2, Riku dyed his hair the same way and noticed the colors only when it was too late, so it's possible that he missed his brother and did that subconsciously. It should be noted, however, that Riku's T2 hair is light green on the left and red on the right, meanwhile Hinode's hair is light green on the right and his hair is more pink rather than red on the left. Hinode also has a double ahoge just like his little brother and same goes for their little sisters. It's something they all share :)

He started putting his hair in a bun since he arrived because he found working with his hair down uncomfortable. Miki helps him with it now.

Hinode's illnesses aren't deadly, but a lot of them are chronic and dealing with them made Hinode a little bit paranoid and he has a lot of health-related anxiety. His condition is supposed to be mostly up to interpretation, but I can say for sure that he has anemia, narcolepsy and fibromyalgia.

He's the tallest out of all the guards (and that also makes Eiji the shortest). He's also the oldest one.

It's hard for him to walk because of how tired he feels most of the time, so he asked Miki if it's okay to hold her hand when they walk together. After a lot of internal screaming because of Hinode being so cute, Miki agreed. 

His room has everything he needs and he can see the whole prison on multiple screens, watch the interrogation recordings, adjust the brightness of the screens and the room temperature and whoever kidnapped him also somehow learned about all the medications he has to take. He was creeped out by first, but then went "Oh, it's kinda nice actually :)"

Speaking of him arriving to Milgram, he was kidnapped while he was asleep. So before Jackalope brought him his guard uniform, Hinode spent all his time wearing pajamas. He still thinks they're more comfortable than his uniform. (another fun fact is that the first "concept art" of him had him in his pajamas sjskkssl)

He's probably the best character to ask for medical help at the moment, since he does know a lot about things like that, but whether he's able to actually help someone depends on how he's feeling at the moment and what his relationship with that person is like. 

Hinode actually used to play the guitar before his health started to get worse and after he realized he doesn't have the energy to play anymore, he gave it to Riku. Riku still uses his brother's guitar and not counting the ones he got in Milgram, he refuses to get a new one. It also has a bunch of silly drawings on it made by Riku himself, Hinode and their little sisters.

summary: you and beomgyu go on a date to an aquarium, during which he leaves you more flustered than you anticipated.

warnings: the build up to the kiss gets a bit steamy, some suggestive language by my standards lol (but nothing explicit)

The bluish glow leaves a halo around Beomgyu’s face. It’s a random Thursday and the aquarium the two of you are at is practically empty. You admire him lovingly, warmed by his boyish infatuation with the twinkling fish. They refract like specs of glitter- orangey, yellow and gold in their flickering. 

Beomgyu’s a walking a paint palette. You think of the colors you’d use to render his beauty- if you were bestowed with such a skill. A wash of watercolor, bleeding and pooling into the grooves of sturdy paper… the faintest of blues. Warm gray, like the clouds that hung in the sky the day you met him. Chestnut-y browns as a final touch- like his eyes, his hair, his guitar. You wish you had brought a camera, to immortalize the joy radiating off of him, but you’re left to rely on your faulty eyes (and memory).

“You’re staring,” says Beomgyu as he reads the placard next to the fishtank. Golden Dwarf, Tiger and Cherry Barbs. Schooling fish. They’re not to be in groups less than six. 

“Can’t help it,” you simply say. 

You’re certain the amazement in your eyes as you look at him parallels Beomgyu’s intrigue with the fish. It’s funny really; for a guy in such a glitzy career, he’s easily impressed. Beomgyu is also very contemplative. You liked watching him think, his brows furrowing and relaxing over and over again, or when he scrunches his nose. He does the latter right now, and you’re overcome with the urge to kiss it. Realizing you possess the privilege to do so, you reach over to take Beomgyu’s face in your hands. Instead of moving immediately, you linger there, drinking up his delicate features. 

“Like what you see?” Beomgyu quirks an eyebrow, in that goofy way he does. He’s never serious, save for the purpose of expediting your impending demise (also known as making you fall in love with him). You answer him with the kiss you so desperately yearn for, barely touching your lips to the tip of his nose. 

“I’ll take that as a yes,” he says. Then, Beomgyu pulls you into an embrace. 

The fish tanks murmur in the background, the running water almost mimicking rainfall. Fluorescent lights sift through the glass creating wavy lines that dance on the wall. You could stay like this forever. 

Beomgyu tilts your chin upward, fingertips grazing your skin just slightly. The touch is hypnotizing, clearing your mind of any coherent thoughts. All you can think of is Beomgyu. Beomgyu, who was born in spring. Beomgyu, who writes hushed ballads as dusk burns into dawn. Beomgyu, who loves you in his own way- patiently and attentively. His breath fans over your lips. Your face twitches for his touch, but all you can do is stand there. You’re frozen. It feels as though if you move, you’ll break into a million pieces. You silently beg him to move. 

Beomgyu likes to tease you in this way, though he’d never admit it. He likes to see how quickly you get flustered and how intensely you crave his touch. A few times, he pretends to lean in, watching how you crane your neck. When he does this a third time, you sigh exasperatedly. 

“Would you like me to kiss you?” he asks with a coy lilt. You nod feverishly. Beomgyu stifles a laugh. “Didn’t catch that.”

“Yes, please,” you manage to whisper. When he finally does kiss you, you’re somehow even more breathless. If only you could be outside of your body- you’d paint this too. Vermillion to render the blush that’s probably dusting Beomgyu’s cheeks, pink to match the tinge on your ears, green to commemorate how evergreen your love will remain. You deepen the kiss, moving impossibly closer to one another. When the two of you come up for air, chests heaving as if you’d ran a marathon, Beomgyu laughs.

“What’s so funny?” you ask.

“Oh… you want me so bad right now!” he teases. 

“Whatever!” You hit his forearm, covering your embarrassed face with your other hand.

I see Lia's car, plan is in action. First, I take off my heels and I place them in my hand, I open my window, I breathe out. I'm ready. I've got this.

We arrive at Noah's house a couple minutes late but people were still walking through much later anyway. The beer pong, bottles upon bottles of alcohol, and people sucking eachother's faces off; typical house party. But in the corner of the living room I see people that I never thought I'd see ever again. The. Fucking. Sturniolos.

I saw him and his brothers talking to somebody. Lia went to go talk to somebody who she thought was cute or some shit. And so I was now left alone.

Well I'd atleast want to be drunk so I won't remember any of the fucking feelings and emotions or regret shit. I grab a half-empty bottle of beer and down it, it plunges down my throat and it feels freshening.

We used to live in the same neighborhood when we were little. I was closer with Matt and Nick, but never with Chris; in fact we were always arguing, fighting; we hated eachother. I was extremely sad when they moved away, emotions mostly for Matt and Nick though. I cried for days on-end, not wanting to go to school without them.

When I caught eye contact with Nick it was like getting the top item on your Christmas list. The way his face lit up was like seeing him as a little kid again, and his smile deserved everything in the world. I went over to him hugging him tight and even letting a silent tear fall out of happiness.

"Oh my god y/n! How are you?"

"I'm doing fine, how about you?"

"I'm good, but it's been so long."

"You know, when you guys moved away I cried on-end. I never wanted to go to school without you guys."

"Me neither, I begged my mom and dad not to go anywhere."

As soon as Matt noticed that Nick was gone and looked over his face also lit up with joy, just like when he was little. I also hugged him tight.

"Y/n! How are you it's like I thought I'd never see you again"

"I'm doing great Matt, what about you?"

"You know I've doing great, after we moved away I gave my parents the silent treatment for days."

"Ha, guess we all didn't like your parents after that."

"Guessing not."

Chris walked over to us and shot me a look. Forget him and his attitude y/n. I thought to myself.

"Long time no-see Chris."

"Yeah whatever."

"Okay don't be a asshole Chris."

"It's literally been almost 10 years Chris and you still can't greet her correctly or nicely?"

"Guys it's fine. Just let him be."

ethereal pt. II

A/N: Hey, guys! This part two of ethereal pt. I!!! So sorry for not posting as much, tests are running me over like a train rn. Enjoy!!! Send requests!!!!

Previously on ‘Ethereal’..... “Can we please go now?” Rex asked, itching to get out of the garden. He glanced back at the house, staring at the candle’s flickering in the windows. He was holding Ahsoka close to his chest, worry evident on his face as she nodded eagerly.

“I suppose we should,” Obi-Wan agreed, brow furrowed. “But I am confused. How and why are the statues of us in this garden?” They all murmured their agreement, trying to come up with a reasonable explanation, but to no avail.

“Because,” a gentle, silky voice called from behind them and the five turned to see a young woman - around Anakin’s age - with stormy grey eyes, long wavy golden hair and tan skin, dressed in a strange white toga. “We’ve been awaiting your arrival.”

Now on ‘Ethereal’.....

Anakin had his lightsaber in his hand instantly, the blue glow scattering over his body like water. He grit his teeth and stretched his other arm out to protect the others. Ahsoka had her two lightsabers in his hands as she stood in front of Rex and Cody, all three of them covered in the green glow. Obi-Wan stood by Anakin’s side, hilt in hand but unactivated. Yet, he was covered in the glow of Anakin’s lightsaber.

“Pardon me, who are you?” Obi-Wan asked, stepping slightly ahead of Anakin, sending a wave of calm through their bond. The young woman smiled lightly, taking a step closer.

All three Jedi thought of Mortis. Although Ahsoka and Anakin couldn’t remember the times when they were under the influence of the Son, they all remembered the planet. This planet had a sickening familiarity to it.

“My name is Kamari,” she replied, and her name floated through the air like a hypnotising song. It was mesmerising, and so was the girl. She looked, frankly, like some kind of Goddess. Now, as Ahsoka looked closer, she could see that the girl’s eyes weren’t grey. In fact, they were silver. A whitish silver, like full moons were trapped in her eyes. 

“Alright, Kamari,” Obi-Wan responded, his brow furrowing. “Where are we, what’s going on, and what do you mean by ‘we’ve been awaiting your arrival’?” Kamari smiled, as though he were an oblivious child who didn’t know anything.

“That,” Kamari began, her smile as eerie as the house. But it was also warm, just like the house. “Is something you must discover.”

Ahsoka opened her mouth to say something, but was interrupted when a roar split through the air. It was loud, deep and fierce, and so was the creature. The creature burst through the forest and Cody cried out upon seeing it.

The creature was at least three metres tall, with a muscular body, four paws, a long tail with a bushy tip, and white fur with long gold stripes. It had six ears that were short and curved, and it had six eyes that were a magnificent glowing blue. The creature had three heads, each identical with two eyes, two ears, a muzzle with a pink nose and gold antlers.

It leaped to stand next to Kamari, the middle head bumping against her gently. The five soldiers gasped and shuffled closer to each other, Ahsoka shuffling forward. She’d had her fair share with animals and creatures as such. 

“Mahnoor,” Kamari breathed out, reaching up to stroke the nose bridge of the creature. The huge animal let out a content purr, all six eyes closing. “Have no fear, my friends, this is Mahnoor. She is an Ophelia.”

“An Ophelia?” Ahsoka asked, taking a step forward, curiosity grasping her. She was reminded of the creatures of her home world.

“Yes, they are unfortunately on the verge of extinction, Mahnoor is one of the last of her kind,” the young woman murmured, a sad smile on her face as she scratched behind one of Mahnoor’s ears. She played with the tufts of white fur. “Just like us.”

“‘Us’?” Anakin called, glancing at his Padawan worriedly. He didn’t like how she was now in line with him, too close to the stranger. “As in my friends and I, or you and others?” 

Kamari looked up to the sky, a wistful expression adorning her features. “All of us.” The words fell from her lips in a murmur, mystical and floating in the air. 

The group exchanged glances before Rex spoke up. “Who lives in the house?” He asked, unnerved by what she had said. Everything about Kamari was freaking him out. The smile previously lit on Kamari’s face faded and the usual warmth seeping from her turned sharply cold. “No one has lived there for many years,” she replied, gritting her teeth. 

Ahsoka shivered at the sudden iciness of the previously calm woman, her eyes darting to Mahnoor instead. She flinched slightly when she noticed the Ophelia’s six bright blue eyes already on her. Studying her.

Instead of fear, curiosity sparked in her stomach. It flowed through her veins like blood and she crept forward, reaching her hand up. 

Rex placed a hand on her shoulder and tried to pull her back, but she shrugged him off effortlessly. She took a step forward and gazed up at the Ophelia. Now, she couldn’t be more than a few centimetres from touching its neck.

To her surprise, Mahnoor bent down and brushed its centre head’s nose bridge against Ahsoka’s palm. She let out a sigh as she scratched the creature with a content smile, a sense of bliss settling over her.

A gasp interrupted her solace and she opened her eyes, taking in the shocked expressions of her friends. That’s when Ahsoka noticed it herself.

Safe green sparks flitted around her form, bathing her in a beautiful light green glow. They looked like tiny snowflakes or fireflies as they circled her. Instinctively, Ahsoka reached a hand up to touch one of the little wisps. It floated around her fingers, hundreds swirling around her hand.

“What?” Cody breathed out.

Anakin dashed forwards, swatting at the wisps with confusion. They darted from his grasp like he was poison, avoiding him and wrapping themselves around Ahsoka.

“What is this?” Anakin snarled, turning to Kamari. Ahsoka continued to pet Mahnoor, a content smile adorning her features. Kamari smiled sympathetically at Anakin, but the sympathy looked more like passive aggressive pity to the brunette.

“They are Ahsoka,” Kamari told him, giving Ahsoka a relaxed grin.

Rex murmured, “We never told you our names.” He said it so quietly no one else noticed. 

Kamari reached over to Ahsoka and lightly touched her shoulder. Instantly, the same wisps - but golden instead of sage green - floated around her. The girl smiled as she moved hands to create what looked like a twig made of the wisps.

“Rex,” she spoke up and he flinched. She beckoned him over and he hesitated, but then glanced at Ahsoka and moved to Kamari. If Ahsoka was in danger, he needed to know. 

Kamari placed her hand on his shoulder and blue wisps danced around Rex. He gazed in awe at them.

Kamari then did the same to Cody - who’s wisps were yellow - and Obi-Wan - who’s wisps were cyan. But as she moved to rest her hand on Anakin’s shoulder, he jerked away.

“What have you done to them?” He growled. A light, melodic laugh spilled from Kamari’s lips like cotton candy; featherlight and sweet.

“I am helping you,” she whispered. “I am explaining.”

Before Anakin could protect, she brushed his shoulder and his own beautiful red wisps danced around him. 

Anakin tried desperately to brush them away, but they always returned. They never touched him, but were always close.

As the group were mesmerised with the wisps, the bushes to their left shuffled. Even caught up in wonder, they noticed the movement and turned. 

That’s when a figure emerged from the bushes.

“Hello, brother,” Kamari called to him.

“Hello, sister.”

full disclosure: i haven't gotten to TDROTI in my rewatch yet (mid-TDWT rn) so if anyone seems OOC i apologize it's been a while since ive seen it!! but i think brott is a super cute pairing and brick has always been one of my faves from the newer casts so i hope you enjoy :)

Part of a soldier's duty is to keep alert, and notice the little things not everyone else does. Brick may not be top of the class, but he had to have gotten picked for the new season of Total Drama for a reason. And if he really wants a shot at the money, it's probably best to start strategizing before the game even begins.

Which is why Brick starts people-watching as soon as he boards the boat to the island, so he can get a head start on sizing up the - somewhat intimidating - competition.

The most obvious threats, he checks out first. The girl in the grey tracksuit is clearly super athletic, as is the guy in the jersey he's pretty sure is named Lightning. Loud, both of them, but probably also headstrong. Easy to anger. Brick's known plenty like that over the course of his years of training. They'll be ones to watch out for, for sure.

The big guy is quiet - really quiet - and Brick's positive he's got to be secretly housing some mad brains up there. The small kid with the glasses won't get anywhere in the physical challenges, but in Brick's experience, those types of people can serve up a truly merciless smackdown of intelligence. Brick wouldn't call himself dumb, but he's never exactly been an Einstein - watch out for them, too.

Zoey is sweet - she'd introduced herself to Brick near the top of the boat ride, obviously eager to get to know her fellow competitors - and therefore not much cause for concern. Ditto Mike, who seems both nervous and excited, and ultimately, non-threatening. Dakota (and he knows her name is Dakota, because she'd loudly announced herself as she'd sashayed on board) is caught up in her own glossy glamorous self, the curly-haired guy too wrapped up in his video games to give Brick cause for much worry. The Italian girl is a little scary (not that Brick's afraid or anything, haha) and the small kid in the green sweater has done nothing but meditate this whole time. Yeah, they shouldn't be a problem.

Neither is the loud girl in the pink jacket. Brick never caught her name - he's sure she introduced herself, but she's been talking the ear off of everyone non-stop and in all that prattle, none of it seems to actually hold any merit. And Brick would know a thing or two about merit, yes sir!

Chatty Cathy's current victim appears to be the only other remaining contestant - looks like your classic Nova Scotian farm boy, chopped red hair, threadbare wifebeater, unimpressed look on his face. Brick doesn't know his name, or his deal - strength from years of outdoor chores? Some hidden smarts no one would assume of him? Brick has no idea. Come to think of it, Brick's not even sure he's heard the guy say a word. Not that it's in any way easy to get a sentence in edgewise with pink jacket girl around, of course - had she said her name was Tracey? Sarah?

"What are you staring at, buzzcut?"

Brick instantly straightens his spine, standing at attention, embarrassed to have been caught looking at the farm boy. "Nothing. I wasn't staring at anything."

"Uh, yeah, you totally were," says pink jacket. "It was so obvious! By the way, did you know that my great-great-great-great-great uncle Gordon first coined the term obvious wayyyyyy back in - "

"Put a sock in it," farm guy mutters, and strangely, she seems to listen to him. He diverts his attention back to Brick, advancing on him like some sort of terrifying jungle cat. "Trying to size up the competition?" He sniffs, thin lips curled into a sneer. "All you need to know about me is that I'm gonna kick your sorry ass off this island."

Brick stands his ground. "With all due respect, you don't know that for certain. Mr....?"

"Scott." He grabs a hold of the front of Brick's shirt, pulling him in close and oh no, he's hot, and whoa, he's got freckles like everywhere. "I'll make sure you won't forget it, private."

And with one last withering glare, he lets go of Brick and stomps away.

"Wow." In all that had just happened, Brick had forgotten Staci (!!) entirely, but she's throwing an arm around his shoulder now in what she likely thinks is a comforting manner. "That guy is gonna eat you alive! Speaking of cannibals, my cousin's sister's dog's landlord totally eats people! Chris would probably love to have him on the show, yah, he's a total maniac but I bet he'd be great for ratings, ya know? Ya know, my great-great-great-great - "

But Brick isn't listening to a word. He's staring down at his shirt, positive he can see the imprint of Scott's fingers seared into the fabric there, because why else would Brick have burned the way he did when Scott touched him?

"O-oh.. Jeepers..", Filename sighed as he grabbed his chest, feeling a sense of tension pulsating there. His vision was blurry yet his eye(s?? >:P) shifted around the room. He felt warm.. Very warm. What was happening to him? This was new. Filename smiled and giggled to himself, tightly grabbing his hair with the other hand. Suddenly, the door creeked and a tall green fellow with a broom peeked into the room. He kept quiet for a short period of time but then spoke, still quietly, "File..? Is there something wrong again?" As expected, Filename did not say anything, so concerned Sweep stepped into the room, gripping his broom a little tighter, and questioned yet again, "File?" At that moment Filename jerked his head towards Sweep. His eyes were glowing pink and he had white hearts instead of pupils. His grin slowly widened and he spoke in a shaky voice, "Sweep.. Dear.." At that very moment Sweep hardly swallowed. He was.. Uncomfortable. Filename turned the rest of his body in Sweep's direction and slowly walked over to him, however when he was only a couple of steps away he suddenly darted towards Sweep. And there was a moment of silence. Before Sweep could make out what just happened, he was standing back against the wall with Filename holding the broomstick up to his neck. Filename's breathing became a bit heavier as he stared into Sweep's eyes, still smiling. Filename then squinted his eyes and softly whispered, "Sweep.. I love you, dear..~"

Saki Tenma: i love her hairstyle and hair colour!! and the bright pink eyes! not the biggest fan of the yellow cardigan though

Honami Mochizuki: so pretty!! her light brown hair goes super well with her blue yes, and both contrast beautifully with her dark red outfit! the black bows on the sleeves are a nice touch too! lovely hair tie too

orange- if you could, would you change your eye color? why? to what color, if so? hmmm, i dont think i would bcs personally i feel like all eye colors are beautiful and id honestly be happy with any eye color. i also really like brown eyes so :)

magenta- do you keep your fingernails long or short? short. extremely short. i cant keep them long for long bcs i always get annoyed or sometimes chew on them when im anxious so. yeah.

cyan- are you religious? spiritual? not technically, i dont really practice any religions, but i do celebrate some shinto holidays and things bcs of my mom being japanese. i think im a little spiritual, but not heavily :) (i do think religion can be a very beautiful thing though)

sea green- can you fold a fitted sheet? yes!!!! i actually have been able to since i was seven, its something im very proud of :D

pink- what's your natural hair color? its dark brown, in the sun it looks kind of more honey colored, but sometimes itll look black

grey- how many languages do you speak? do you want to learn any more? one (english), but i reaaaaally want to learn more. i think being multilingual is SO COOL!!

The duke and duchess(Evelyn) run a cat café together

All of their children are cats

The duke is a cat person and responsible for like 99% of the strays that end up at the café no that is nonnegotiable

Penelope was a kitten on the streets whose mother was sick and died of starvation as well

The duke found her bc Yvonne scampered out and they have a tracker on the pink-haired sibs bc they are escape artists

So the duke with his bleeding cat lover heart brings kittylope back, with kittylope snuggling up and being all cute

She is a prolific mewer- uses that and kitty eyes to beg for food

Fights with Reynold a lot

likes to bap his nose and patpatpat away

Also hisses and acts feral with him

In retaliation, he kicks her out of the tallest part of the MEGA CAT TREE(the equivalent of the attic)

Reynold was scolded after he shoved her out and she went smack onto the floor

Kittylope can and will nom at Derrick's tail- she likes to grab at it

He's like "no" and pushes her face down with his front paw

But BC THIS IS MY AU DERRICK IS NOT A BITCH

He'll let her and Yvonne clamber all over him and he sits there like "this is fine"

Derrick is an Ojos Azules breed, known for their distinctive blue eyes, and he has dark fur
