Commentary: I've decided to start off this list with one of my all time favourites. This fic just had such wholesome energy, I can't express to you how happy and comforted it makes me feel.

The Prom Date - xivz

Author: xivz Word Count: 45,281 (17 Chapters, Texting Fic) Rating: Explicit Alternate Universe: Modern, Muggle, Getting Together, Celebrity Summary: “You want to do something different this year? Do one of those promposal’s that are so popular. Ask out a celebrity. The worse they can do is say no.”

The real issue for Remus was that his celebrity crush said yes.

Commentary: One of the first fics I ever read, and I still love it to this day!

The media is all over the drama between Famous Actor Remus Lupin, his new lover Famous Actor Gilderoy Lockhart, and his ex-lover Famous Musician Sirius Black! They just try to deal with the unwanted attention. Things turn out to not be what they seem.

Commentary: This one sounds like it's going to be angsty, and it is a little but only at the start, and then its a bunch of cute fluffy happiness, so don't worry!

The Player's Secret - WrappedUp

Author: WrappedUp Word Count: 51,568 (9 Chapters) Rating: Mature Alternate Universe: Modern, Muggle, Getting Together, Celebrity Summary: “So what’s he like? Full of it? Arrogant?”

what IS your favorite fic? or maybe a rec list?

Undoubtedly the one fic I enjoy the most and will recommend to anyone that knows of the Fate series is: "Fragments of Chaldea" (just search it on AO3, should be the top result)

You want 100+ different Servants developing realistically over 120 chapters?

In total, the Fragments of Chaldea series (The main Fragments Series, the Lost Shards (concept chapters that arent finished) and supplemantary fics that are too big to be their own Fragments) has a total of 2,049,162 words.

That is more than Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings COMBINED. And FoC's quality never really drops. It just keeps getting better the further you read.

I know that 2 million words is just, a lot, but ALL of it is great character development for so many different characters that never feels like "that character would NEVER do that" no. It all feels real. It all feels like if these Servants lived at Chalea that this is how they would develop. GhostXavier nails down so many different personalities and makes it feel real.

My Snippets of Sirin Schariac's life is loosely inspired by Fragments. Maybe more in hindsight. Fragments are connected oneshots as all Fragments progress the story, but each chapter is like a oneshot focusing on one, sometimes more, Servant(s) at a time. One chapter we follow Jeanne d'arc, another we follow Artoria Pendragon, another Kiyohime, another Mashu, another Hyde and Jeckyl, another Scathach, another Mozart, and so on. But they all move the story forward.

Now, Fragments is more straight than my Snippets, it barely jumps back and forth in time, so it is (admittedly) far easier to follow than my Snippets. Basically just connected oneshots is the most borrowed idea from Fragments.

Now, given that, the tag list and character list for Fragments is HUGE, too much to list here. And it is a heavy AU setting - the surviving Chaldea staff is over 100 rather than the measly 20 in canon, plus theres a robotic staff. As they explain in the notes of chapter 1: "A humanity saving organization on such a tiny staff count is beyond absurd."

So, a basic understanding of Fate lore is needed to be able to comprehend Fragments of Chaldea, but if you want to REALLY enjoy it, you kind of need to play Fate/Grand Order and clear the first 7 Singularities, the 4 Epic of Remnant Singularities, and have started the Lostbelts. That's kinda far. But that is just for full enjoyment and attention to the changes. But if you know what Fate is, you can watch a summary explaination of FGO and enjoy Fragments plenty.

Sadly, due to burnout, Fragments technically ends at chapter 116. The last 4 chapters are overviews of the planned storyline that GhostXavier had for the future and Lostbelts.

But there is still enough for days of enjoment from Fragments of Chaldea

Now, I have some other fics that I really like, but I wont go into as much detail about them here because this post is already long enough.

There is Matters of the Heart by Vengfulfate, it's a RWBY fanfic where Ruby gets a heart injury and her father becomes overprotective, which results in her running away while still young, and she ends up growing up to be far more serious than she is in canon. It also gets rid of the worst parts of RWBY, being Cinder and Salem, writing them completely out of the story to focus on Ruby and her family drama.

There is also There Are No Thought Crimes (HI3 fanfic), which is a horny FuKiMei story with vampires. Its a fun and spicy read. Instead of Honkai there is vampires and a lot of horny vampire biting.

“You made a person, baby,” he said softly, looking back at you. “She's so small. So perfect.” He couldn’t look away for too long, and already you knew as he cradled her in big arms against a strong and solid chest, that another girl had him wrapped around her little finger. And you were perfectly okay with that.

You felt that you had run a marathon. You were exhausted, and every breath was made with effort. You could honestly say, in that moment, this was the worst pain you had felt, and you sobbed as you closed your eyes and felt your husband's hand brush sweaty hair from your eyes.

Your hearing was muffled as you recovered, and the pain ebbing away, and among the sounds of the doctor and nurses, you heard a small gasping breath and a cry that would not stop. You opened your eyes, everything came into sharp focus and you saw as a baby, your baby, was placed on your bare chest and covered in a blanket. You were stunned for a moment, but your arms wrapped around quickly, holding the child tight to your chest. You looked down at the whimpering child and then up to the brown eyes of your husband, smiling so wide, you were sure the dimples would never leave his face.  Namjoon was speechless, as he crouched down to press his forehead to yours, and then placed a kiss on your temple. “You did so good, baby. She’s perfect.” He was gentle as he rubbed soft circles over your child's head, almost afraid that he would somehow break this too. 

The nurses came in, helping clean up both you and your baby, and then the doctor came over carefully instructing Namjoon what to do as he cut the umbilical cord. Soon after, they wicked her away, to measure and wrap, and you still felt like you were soaring. Not yet feeling any of the pain or soreness that you knew was to come. Namjoon had squeezed hsi large body onto the bed next to you, credlign you, rubbing your shoulders, and helping to fix your hair that had fallen out of the ponytail. You just wanted it out of the way. When a nurse came back to the bedside, your baby was wrapped in a soft yellow blanket. A white cap on her head. 

“Here you go, daddy,” she said with a smile. “Support her head,” the bundle was passed off into large hands, and Namjoon was so careful, and his eyes wide. 

“Yeah! Just like that. You got her. You’re a natural.” You sat up a little, looking at him with a soft smile. You saw the sparkle of tears in his eyes.

AN Hello there! Thank you for checking this fic out! I wanted to get this out of the way first before you start reading.

There is what I would consider a minor character death in the beginning of this fic. Readers sister passes away, and while this is the event that is a catalyst for what follows in Readers life, I did my best to not let this death be the focus of the fic, and instead I tried to write something that was about healing and learning to live with that grief that might not go away.

I promise that there is a happy ending in store for Reader, so I hope you stay with me for this.

As an aside, or maybe extras. This story takes place in the same Idol!au as Lullaby and Lullaby: Mikrokosmos. In order to avoid confusion, Yoongi’s partner is named in this story.

A/N Thank you @minttangerines for the prompt! I was immediately inspired to write this when I saw your ask. I wrote it on my phone, so it's probably very poorly edited and formatted. I'll fix it later. Fixed the formatting and did some minor edits. <3

I hope you enjoy!!

After the long day you had, coming home to a calm and quiet house was a soothing balm to your weary mind and body. Long gone were the typical queasy mornings that you knew to expect, only replaced by the intense fatigue as you worked to create and support the small spark of life within your belly.

Jungkook was ecstatic. The boyish wonder that lit up his handsome face when the news of your pregnancy was fresh made you grin, and had your heart soaring. Although there wasn't even a hint of a bump, he still liked to gently place his hands across your stomach, so sure that he could feel what your love had created.

In the quiet evening, after dinner, you two had settled into the sofa to watch a favorite movie. Your head in your husband's lap as he gently carded his fingers through your hair. You hummed and sighed happily. Eyes closed and just content to listen to the well known words and your husband's sweet gentle voice as he sang along with the music.

In that moment of peace, a strange sensation from your stomach caused your eyes to fly open. You cautiously and gently pressed your hand to your rounded stomach, wondering if perhaps dinner didn't agree with you.

And it happened again. That was most certainly not dinner. You rolled into your back carefully and looked up at your husband.

"Hey, bun..."

He hummed without looking down at you, and you pulled his hand down from your hair to your stomach.

"I think it's starting to move."

You stayed still, hoping that it would happen again with his hand still there.

"What?"

You most certainly had his attention now, the movie easily forgotten. You smiled fondly at him as his eyes grew wide, now eagerly waiting to feel something.

"I am like, 85 percent sure, that it- the baby, move."

You were so scared that talking, or even breathing would make it not happen again. But Jungkook shifted, and now both hands were splayed across your stomach, waiting. Until he gasped.

"I felt it!"

His voice was soft and filled with awe. Up until now, it didn't quite feel real. Though you had the images, that yes, there most certainly was a baby, you both felt it. You felt the hot sting of tears welling in your eyes, and before one had a chance to roll down your cheek, he brushed it away gently with his thumb.

"That's our baby."

"I love you so much. You're so amazing!" The rest of the night was spent with both of your hands resting gently together, and your baby's gentle reminders that they were there too.

John found the texts. Found the fresh threats. The fresh realisation that it wasn't over ... Moriarty wasn't dead.

The knowledge, the fear ... was too much.

Breaking down and confronting Sherlock about hiding this from him?

After everything he'd already gone through after the fall? For Sherlock to take this risk again?? And not tell him ... ? Made him feel worthless. Hopeless.

"I can't see you in a body bag. Not again, Sherlock! How - how could you-???"

"John, I-"

John cut him off, "do you have any fucking CLUE ... what's it's like to bury the man you love? To tear yourself apart for two years, trying to figure out WHAT YOU COULD HAVE DONE to change his mind? Too keep him SAFE? Here? In your arms?? Do you?!!!"

"The man you-," Sherlock tried, shaking with the adrenaline now coursing through his body ...

He had thought it all a game ...

He had though John found it charming? Thrilling even ... ?

How had he miscalculated to such a degree?

The words replaying in his head, over and over, 'the man you love' ... as John shook with tears too long un-shed. And Sherlock reached out to pull him in. Close. Holding him near. Daringly near ...

. Love.

How had he not seen it? That John loved him ...

What would he have done?

If he had had to bury John instead?

If he had been the one left behind?

He loved John.

"Sorry ... I'm ... I'm so sorry, John. I'm sorry!"

The words came out ... torn from his throat, like the world without John in it ... he hugged him close. Squeezed him in, as if they could merge and become one ...

"What have I done to you?"

John's tears were staining the soft fabric of silk as he pulled him closer. Tears that simply would not cease ... Sherlock took a bold step. Leaning his cheek against John's head. Bringing his hands up to cradle John's neck. Resting there as John let it all out. Sherlock’s heart gripped in John's hands even as John's hand closed around his waist. Matching his embrace. "John?"

"I didn't ... I didn't know?"

Sherlock kissed John's hair. Cradling him there in his arms. The one thing that had kept him going ... imagining John here ... at Baker Street, waiting for him to come home ... "John ...?" Sherlock asked, "why didn't you tell me, I was in love with you?"

John's wet laugh shook his ribs, and he saw John smile as he looked up. Meeting Sherlock's eyes. Holding him there.

.

Judging.

Weighing,

. the words. Tasting them.

To see if they were real? Genuine?

.

"I meant it. John, I mean it."

. "Sherlock, you don't have to-"

"I want to! I want it. Everything. With you. Stay? please stay!"

.

"Together," John gritted his teeth, eyes pointing again at the phone, "Only if you mean it, together! Do you understand me?! 'Just you and I against the world', you said? Did you mean it, then? Sherlock? You can't say you love me and then shut me out! You c-an't-"

His voice broke again and Sherlock pulled him back in. Looking closely at his lips. Struggling with whether or not John would let him?

... he leaned in. Whispering,

"I meant it."

.

"John ... meant it!"

John's sigh caught Sherlock breathless and he found his lips pressed against John's. John's fist in his shirt. Unable to resist the pull of gravity, and not wanting to even if he could! Their breaths intermingling. The taste of tea on John's tongue ... the warmth and smell of his closeness. His aftershave. His tightly wound body, pressed in close to Sherlock's own ... willingly receiving.

Things he never thought he could take and claim as his ... now beneath his fingertips.

As John's hands caressed his back and pulled him in. John showing him how to fit the pieces of their broken lives back together ... sitting down on Sherlock as Sherlock melted into the chair and took John with him.

"I love you." Sherlock whispered. Wrapping himself around John to show how much he needed this. Needed to say the words out loud. Needed John to hear them.

"I need you ...

. John Watson, you. Keep. Me. Right."

.

John huffed a small laugh, then remembered Sherlock's speech at the wedding and froze. Startled eyes looking up at Sherlock, fully aware now ...

. Sherlock had meant it.

. Sherlock had said it ...

. Before ...

.

He simply hadn't been listening.

.

"Oh, God, Sherlock -" John's hands found Sherlock's face, scanning his eyes and apologizing, " I didn't know ..."

And finding Sherlock's lips again, showed him more. And more. How he loved ...

Then they held each other close. Simply being. Simply breathing.

As one.

Sherlock wanted to stay here forever ... resting in John's embrace. Feeling his chest rise and fall with each intake and exhale ... the weight of the world ... his world ... was right here ...

. ... and nothing had ever felt better.

. "Together," he said, looking at John's form tucked against his own. How many times he had curled up in his chair ... and wished for John to join him?

. ... and felt more than heard John's whisper in reply,

Fandom: Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild / The Minish Cap

Summary: Sidon is given his very own Sheikah Slate, the first replica Purah has managed to make, and sets out to travel with Link with the intention of registering warp points for convenient travel in the future. However, when a malfunction shrinks them down to the size of bugs, and they meet little people called the Minish, they have to change their plans from “fun adventuring” to “getting out of this mess”. Not that those two have to exclude one another. Link/Sidon.

Progress: Chapter 52 is the current latest chapter and was posted on 26th of May. Chapter 53 is half done, and the scheduled posting date is 23rd of June.

I post a new chapter every three weeks on Wednesdays, except when I don’t manage to and move it by a week. These updates always include a sneak-peek for the next chapter, slowly getting longer over the three (or four) weeks’ waiting period.

Summary: This is not a stand-alone story! This is a oneshot/drabble collection in the universe as “Shit, the Radio Demon is a part of my afterlife”. Read the main story before bothering with this one.

I decided to give my readers a chance to throw Radiohusk prompts at me, and had the Afterlife-verse as an option to set the stories in. Everyone liked that, so this fic is now a thing. Enjoy the extra mischief from these two dorks!

Progress: Chapter 28 is the current latest chapter and was posted on 27th of November. Chapter 29 is technically written now, but I wasn’t completely happy with it after I was finally done, so I can’t actually quite label it as finished yet. It’s almost there tho. The scheduled posting date is Some Friday, and there will be a sneak-peek on the Previous Thursday. I want to write chapter 30 as well before posting this one, so hang on. Also, those two will be the last chapters, and then the fic will be officially finished. No progress.

Note to new people who might be looking at this: I’m not taking prompts anymore.

I've honestly held off from reading this for the longest time— I was a bit wary about fem!harry. So it was one of those fics for me that was always there but too afraid to read. Never regretted reading it; it's funny and amazing and Lily is a God and Harry is also a god and Tom is communist? Anyways, check it out! The author also makes these cute oneshot fics where the background of characters are looked into and they're totally worth a read. You're missing out by not reading this; I'm serious. Tom's more of a partner in crime than anything else.
