When you explained ruin's design you showed a small short comic, the shopkeeper alien knew ruin because of a poster that was behind him. Was there now many posts about ruin?
was ruin known by many dimensions people after ruin killed many dimensions, or something else?
Ruin was a threat to planets at first while he was in war and looking for the Wither Shard. It wasn’t until his escape from V-42 (his dimension) that he became a multiversal threat. Even then, his story reached very far.
Some of the writings and posters that have made it across the universe - and eventually, dimensions:
minor tw: fictional t3rrorism mention and war topics such as propoganda.
#1 - The Broadcasts
Não (Ruin’s Creator) films Ruin with a pre-written script of warnings, commands, and information about the war that is going on, and how it will end. These repeated constantly, 24/7, across any and every screen that wasn’t visibly corrupted for fear mongering effect.
Civilians did not run from these broadcasts. They stayed. Because every once in a while, the televisions would change with announcements from the same cloaked figure to command them to safety.
This video is often used to show the severity of Ruin’s existence. It’s physical evidence against him and is treated somewhat like “lost footage” or “analogue horror” by worlds that don’t take it seriously…that is, until Ruin pays their planet a visit.
#2 - Propoganda
One of the main posters that are thrown across the post-apocolyptic world. A call for remaining humans to surrender themselves for some greater plan, though many didn’t agree. Though, Não did his best to suffocate the survivors with constant propoganda.
#3 - Wanted Poster
This poster is released after Ruin’s departure for the Wither Shard. The earth, with Não and Ruin is monitored by refugees and other extraterrestrials for a while. The situation severely escalates when the most dangerous solider gets pushed onto a mission to hunt for a shard to extend The Creator’s reach. It becomes a hunting mission very quickly. Civilians are told to hide, fighters are told to always be at arms. If they can stop Ruin from completing his mission, they can stop Não from reaching to other planets, then other dimensions. What they didn’t know was that Ruin was sabatoging his own mission half the time while keeping himself alive.
Ruin eventually completes his mission - to everyone’s dismay - and returns back. This poster gets pushed into other dimensions, as a warning to watch out for him. It didn’t get out fast enough because Ruin had gotten to his plan to erase a string of dimensions. Since then, the multiverse has heard complete radio silence from the Sole Survivor of V-42.

obx cast lore: ( some of it is speculation but most has been proven.)
- elaine, previously the directors assistant and photographer on the show, got into arguments with the pates on set. even went as far as arguing with lila, jonas’ daughter.
- she was fired as a result of this, causing her to be replaced.
- there was a cast dinner that apparently, madison and elaine got into a heated argument at. a few days later a bunch of unfollowings happened (madison unfollowed elaine; elaine unfollowed madison and mariah, rudy unfollowed mariah, mariah unfollowed elaine and rudy)
- production of season 4 begins and rudy approaches the pates and tells him that he doesn’t want to renew his contract for another season. this throws everyone off and results in last minute changes in the script.
- jonas, one of the creators of the show, unfollows rudy on instagram.
- filming in morocco as a mess. rudy distanced himself even more from the cast (only talking to chase and jonas on set), he didn’t want to be anywhere near madison (even more so than usual—this is proven in a bts video where he literally walks off as soon as she stands next to him)
- all throughout the entirety of the promo for the season, the pates, rudy and madison all hyped up jiara’s relationship lying to fans.
- jj’s character dies in part 2 which the pates claim was planned from season 1. but they didn’t even know rudy wasn’t going to renew his contract for season 5, so how was this planned? why did jonas unfollow him? why did he want to leave as soon as his girlfriend was fired from the show? this excuse was to placate fans so no one would know about all the drama behind the scenes. that is until fans started to notice that rudy used body doubles in his scenes with madison in the jiara scenes—which only further added onto speculation of him hating her.
- the pates, upset at rudy’s abrupt departure decided to kill jj off instead of simply writing him off another way. they started bringing up riara, a ship that both madison and drew themselves despise and say makes no sense, and even hinted at a potential relationship between them as they also stated they were going to make the final season focused on rafe. they’re planning to use drew’s popularity to replace jj as the fan favorite; also using his character to replace jj in the pogues. rudy didn’t want jj to be killed off but the pates chose to do it in anger for his leaving.
- a tumblr acc revealed that madison is known as the diva on set; going as far as being rude to producers on the show. (this is not too far fetched as their has been proof of her being a bitch by others but again, it’s not 100% confirmed.) and another person who said they were an extra in season 3 during the kitty hawk scene said that they didn’t talk at all except for filming.
- something drastic happened in between s3 and s4 because a fan posted a video last year where rudison was high fiving in between takes making fans believe that they were cordial but videos of this season shows rudy adamantly excluding himself from the cast, specifically madison.
- in conclusion, this show is full of immature people and rudy, madison, elaine and mariah are the reason for this outcome.

Wilbur did an update video:
youtube
Here's the breakdown
He said he wanted to bring some clarity to the situation that happened last year but doesn't want to dig at old news
But if you want to dig up old news then why say anything?
Then he states that he does not like the labels that are being used surrounding him and that his family and friends know that he isn't an abusive
And to prove his point he'd have to share personal information about himself which is isn't comfortable with, so we should just trust him
To which, the genuine counter argument is:
1. We knew what the inside of his old apartment was, because Fundy showed it in a vlog
2. We know the city he lives in. THE CITY
3. We know his age (roughly), gender, date of birth, full legal name and his physical looks
4. We know what he would have named his first born child if they were born AFAB
5. People know where he's going to be because of his tours
6. We know his preferred brand of clothing, his style of clothing etc...
7. We know what he did/would have done at University, as he used to say on the dsmp that he was an English major. Since we don't have "Majors" in the UK, the thing he was most likely to be referring to is his pursuits for an English Language and Literature degree.
7.5 we know it was an English Language and Literature degree because he himself recounted learning and being interested in Hamilton and The Odysseus (being English Literature) and English Language is creative writing. Like the script of the dsmp
8. People know what trains and tubs he takes (idk how but they do)
And ALL this information was shared by him, in either his blogs, videos, live streams or collabs. So to say he doesn't share personal information yet have all this out thier is a lie
Furthermore to say that "alot of influence have to share personal information with fans for XZY" is a lie, because content creator like Ethoslab, Zombiecleo, Okaysoheresthething, Ranboo, MANY vtubers and other have all been able to keep both their likeness and personal information out of public spaces by just choosing not to share it, and taking the necessary steps not to have it public
But anyways, then he said he still stands by what his statement said in February of last year but people "misinterpreted probably due to his wording"
To which I'll point out again he's an English major/was a uni student for English/has a degree in English. So he either lied about his academic pursuits or his wording was somewhat intentional, because their ain't NO WAY-

Then he states that he doesn't the "sides to fight each other"
To which, I would like to add my own personal accounts of his fans. Not one single Shubble supporter or victim supporters did or said anything negative or harmful to me even when I asked questions.
His fans on the other hand... Yeahhhhhhh.
So this is coming a bit too late. Like 17 months late

But sure it's a good message to stand by, and no one should be sending death threats or "fighting" each other.
And then he got to the main bit about the video.
Not to give clarity
Not to further update his fans
But to promote his band and to say he wants to do more videos. Leading many to realise the first 30% of the 5 minutes long video was just engagement baiting, into getting more people to see, spread and recognise that he's coming back to content creation and his band is preforming again
TLDR: the most useless video I've seen this week. He says he wants to give clarity but then doesn't do that and spends 30% of the video contradicting himself and then promotes himself and his band.

So you are aware that a lot of the same criticisms that are frequently leveled at Viv can also be brought against Brandon Rogers right? His videos have bestiality, incest, racist sterotyping, misogyny (find me a single female character he plays that isn't a screaming harpy), and excessive swearing amongst countless other forms of tasteless humor.
And he's also one of the main writers for Helluva Boss who clearly adds a lot of his own humor to the script (the video he did with the Blitzo and Moxxie puppets really highlights this), yet no one ever blames him for how HB is written. It's always Viv that catches the blame, Viv that gets thrown under the bus.
Why is that? Why does she get held to different standards than Brandon Rogers does?
For me personally, I do mention Brandon frequently when I talk about how bad the show is. (And I won’t speak on his personal content cause I have no desire to watch it so don’t take me as a legitimate source if this stuff is true) but I will say the reason why Viv gets blamed the most is….well…she’s the creator, and in charge writing wise. She has the power over everything because it’s her show, so even if she wasn’t the one to write an episode, she’s still the one who decides what to keep in and what to take out cause it’s her story. She’s the one who goes over the scripts and decides “yes, let’s publish it like this”- and she’s the one who makes the decisions.
Not to mention that…let’s be honest, Brandon seems to be REALLY absent in the writing department, especially for season 2. Viv wrote episodes 1, 4, 6 and 7, while Adam Neylan wrote episodes 2, 3, 4, and 5, all of season 2. Throughout this entire season so far, Brandon hasn’t gotten anything but a story credit. He hasn’t written a single episode that was purely him or even collaborated with Vivzie or Adam to. The last time he had a writing part was back in episode 6 of season 1, and so far in season 2, all we’ve been getting from Brandon are mere ideas and concepts, while Viv and Neylan are responsible for the dogshit execution and writing.
Brandon handles the comedy aspect of the show, (or…at least he did in season 1) so don’t get me wrong, whenever I talked about season 1 episodes I always shitted on the humor, cause it’s really bad. Like…REALLY bad. But while Brandon isn’t a perfect writer either, people are pinning the blame on Viv and Adam recently cause they’re the ones writing season 2, not Brandon.

Several questions!
1.What were you up to before starting yuurivoice?
2.When did you realize that this was what you were going to do as a job going forward?
3.Any anxieties that you had when you started first started?
4. Do you enjoy (not in the sexual sense) making the NSFW audios, or is that just something that pays the bills? Like, if you didn’t have to make NSFW audios for Patreon, would you still do it for fun?
5. If they have, how do you think writing these stories has changed you as a person ?
Pre-YV I was just about done trying. I had an anime YouTube channel doing some video essay style stuff but it wasn't really popping off. I'd done some professional writing, but fell out of the space I'd built up my experience in and didn't feel like going back. No schooling. No job. Kinda at a dead end with no real shot at getting on my feet. Then Yuri on Ice happened, and it was off to the races.
So on to point 2, shit bro the first time I got commissioned I was like...well I better keep going. There was no "and I quit my real job to become a full time content creator!" moment, it was "i got off food stamps and didn't have to go to the food bank anymore". So my experience was much different, I was instead constantly anxious that everything would burn to the ground and dry up. I worked incredibly hard. Too hard. For a year, two years, three. I don't know when I finally felt safe. I don't know if I ever truly will, but I accepted that it was a real career and was my job moving forward when I finally was renting my own place with my own money.
That probably covers a bit of point 3, but I remember the fear that I wouldn't be able to pivot from Yuri On Ice content to other fandoms, and then from mostly fandom work to my own original characters. It was a scary leap at the time.
I enjoy making NSFW stuff when I don't have a dozen other things to worry about. If all I had to do was just post the smut, life would be a lot easier. Having to split a SFW to NSFW concept, make it a decent YouTube video, script it, record it, plus the smut, separate posts, schedule uploads, write the descriptions......you see what I'm saying? If I just had to moan for a bit and hit post I'd have a great time. Instead it feels like I have to run a goddamn gauntlet just to get one basic thing done. Needless to say, my passion really lies with the narrative work. I want to keep refining my process so I have less friction getting shit done.
As for how my writing and how these stories have changed me, I think there are a multitude of ways I've been impacted but it can be summed up with:
I spent my whole life feeling like I was out of place, inoperable, lazy, and all in all useless. My imagination and daydreaming was what carried me through abuse, heartache, grief, and every miserable thing that ever happened to me because if I didn't try to soothe myself and escape, I couldn't have made it. Writing became the only thing I felt I ever had a real talent for. Storytelling was the thing that made me feel like I was in the right place, doing the right thing.
The biggest change is that I've received all the confirmation I ever could have asked for, I've been afforded the opportunity prove myself and succeed. The confidence that has given me gave me the push to live, more and more. I've fought to better myself and keep going because I finally found my thing and every lie the world ever told me about myself has been undone. That's the big one.
Good questions! Thank you for asking! 💖✨️

Viewer arg by Rainbott
I have just found out that the main video of the Viewer arg has been taken down and I am heartbroken. A bit.
Lemme explain what the Viewer arg actually is, or, was. It was a project made by Rainbott (THEY'RE AMAZING YOU CAN FIND THEM ON YOUTUBE AND INSTAGRAM CHECK THEM OUT). It was an arg which started out as a dsmp quiz video on YouTube in which you could explore the smp and test your knowledge, but underneath that you could find a story about self-doubt, struggles of creators on YouTube and the stress of going to college and needing to be an adult.
Now that that's out of the way, I can say that I'm probably one of the only people who even remembers it. It was an obscure project by a small content creator, which was also unfinished and objectively, not that good. However since the moment I first went through it in 2021, I fell in love with it and have not been able to stop thinking about it ever since. (Help) It was casual but had an interesting plot and was quite atmospheric. The main video was made by a ton of different artists which all put a lot of their love and effort into it which I absolutely adored. It was interesting and enticing and it was made by someone with clearly a lot of passion for what they were doing.
Even if it wasn't particularly popular, I literally didn't care. I took that as a challenge, creating my own theories, timeline and going through the game multiple times, writing out interesting details. If you're curious then you can find the fruit of my work here:
I was quite obsessed, forcing like 3 other people, my friends, to see it.
And I was just about to continue writing the script for a whole ass video essay when I went to check and realised that the main video, as well as two songs and the iceberg video all of which had significant sections of the plot were hidden. It, honestly, broke my heart. I felt quite stupid for still liking this project that even the author seemingly deemed as stupid. But, well, I'd still like to say thank you to Rainbott for inspiring me. They said that with this project they wanted to show people that you didn't have to be big or have special programs or something to make an arg, to make a compelling story. It was them because of whom I made my first animation and even my first 3d model. Thank you. Even if you might think that this project didn't matter, please know that there are people who were genuinely affected by it. Keep doing what you love and being an inspiration to many. Thank you.

Ugh… Clash 2 Be Champion.
Can someone please tell me how I was pilled into thinking this show was even remotely good for long enough that the most viewed video on my YT channel is a FIREPOUND ANIMATIC? That I was an animator for the show for 3 months until I got dropped like a fly because of something petty? Clash 2 Be Champion has basically ZERO value outside of some haphazard ships and Fireball being Cole’s own self-insert.
When I was animating my scene for episode 7 I thought what I was given was absolute nonsense. Remember the scene where Incense and Sleepmask got themselves out of the hole due to some hidden superpowers they had?
…yeah, I animated that scene and the writing was BAD. It was just some random thing thrown in there to make them look cool even though it served basically no purpose to the plot. I did still try to make that scene look good, but eh. I can’t do anything about the scripts.
Also, Cole wrote every episode in advance. Not only that, but animation had barely even started for most episodes and VAing was already DONE. FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON.
So basically this is the product of putting yourself in a position where you absolutely cannot give community criticism any meaning.
Any time I animated a scene for the show I was SO. DAMN. TEMPTED. To use tweens. Because the way the show used stop motion just felt boring.
But I couldn’t. Tweening deviated too far from the show’s style. I appreciate uniqueness in object shows but this isn’t how you do it. And stop motion can be done well, look at Paper Puppets Take 2 for example! But this show does not do this animation style justice.
C2BC also probably has one of the worst fandoms in the OSC. I swear to god. When a community leads to the official Discord being deleted for a while and problems continuing even beyond that, a lot needs to be said. Where would y’all be if it wasn’t for the ships? A great way to tell how annoying a person is would be to check if they have a C2BC profile picture. If they do, there’s probably a good chance they’re someone you don’t want to be around.
The show was a sinking ship and I’m glad I walked the plank. And Cole, having fired me out of nowhere and choosing to hit me with the block button instead of a proper conversation when I asked, great fucking job. Clash 2 Be Champion is going down in history as one of the worst object shows of all time. A few years from now, people will take a look at this show and laugh in it’s face. It will be a keystone example of how NOT to make an object show, how NOT to treat your staff, and how to absolutely obliterate your characters to oblivion. This show is an absolute fucking joke and its creator has a big enough ego to give Donald Trump a run for his money.
I have no regrets :]

In the vtuber AU, who has the worst fans
oh mo ran by a MILE.
shi mei's fans are pretty normal for streamer fans, they sometimes playfully bully shi mei a little but they're pretty chill. his fans re just there for a good time, aside from a few people who come into the stream because they want the cute femboy to be mean to them. healthy ecosystem with weirdo tourists.
chu wanning is actively antagonistic to parasociality because that's something he haaaaated when he was working for rufeng -- the boyfriend act, the "i love you <3" the petnames and shit. he will ban people who misbehave, he will ban people who have weird vibes, and he will ban people who send any compliments that seem a bit too serious.
but mo ran. mo ran has intentionally cultivated a veeeeery specific audience and a very specific sort of relationship with that audience. his business plan is being hot and making people obsessed with him, and he actively encourages it when his fans objectify/sexualize him or act parasocial. he calls his fans his "kittens", does tons of like asmr boyfriend roleplay videos. you can really tell a lot about the community a creator in those circles has cultivated by looking at their comments and their interaction with the comments. some creators highlight comments talking about their skills, or appreciating the script writing, or talking about the audio design. and some creators like comments that are like "omg ur voice made me pregnant"
mo ran is the latter
it consistently shoots him in the foot when it comes to trying to get closer to cwn.
it also means his fans are kind of intense, massive horndogs, and most importantly do not have boundaries. being a horndog is fine, not having boundaries is the problem. chu wanning can't have a PO box because of antis, mo ran can't have a PO box because people would send him used underwear and homemade cookies they jacked off into.

We Are Lady Parts, a British series about an introverted engineering Ph.D. student who is roped into playing the guitar for a local all-women Muslim punk band known as Lady Parts, was one of the most delightful and original television debuts of 2021. Its absence these past three years has been deeply felt—but luckily, Lady Parts is now back onstage, returning with a second season of antics and self-discovery, streaming on Peacock (in the U.S.) and Channel 4 (in the U.K.).
Music has always played a major role in the series thanks to Nida Manzoor, We Are Lady Parts’ showrunner and creator, who, alongside her siblings, also writes and supervises the music for the show. Season 1 blessed us with original songs like “Bashir With the Good Beard” and “Voldemort Under My Headscarf.” Not only are there some great new additions in the second season—from “Malala Made Me Do It” to “Villain Era”—but the music this time around boasts both a tighter sound and a stronger voice. There are even some standout covers, like a stunning punk take on Britney Spears in Episode 3. Slate chatted with Manzoor to discuss We Are Lady Parts’ musical evolution, a surprise (and instantly iconic) cameo, and how we can pay homage to the trailblazers who came before us. This conversation has been condensed and edited for clarity.
Slate: While music has always been the central impetus of the show, it seems to drive even more of the plot this season. After establishing themselves and growing a fan base, the members of Lady Parts are trying to make the band a real deal by recording a debut record. This means that you got to play with the music a bit more this season. For example, there are a few more cheeky covers in there. What was your intention with writing and supervising the music this season?
Nida Manzoor: Music is at the heart of the show. It’s the heart of Season 1, and I had such a joyful experience writing the songs with my brother and sister. For Season 2, I wanted to challenge us, and thereby challenge the band. I wanted the songs to be more complex. I brought in my collaborators more on a ground level. All I came with were song titles and styles. I wanted to do a Western-sounding song called “Malala Made Me Do It” because I wanted to see the band just be silly and go different places. With the song “Glass Ceiling Feeling,” which comes later on in the show, I wanted to see the band feel like they’ve evolved from Season 1. Moving away from their traditional punk songs and seeing them explore different ways of expressing themselves was really exciting to me.
Let’s talk about “Malala Made Me Do It.” The sentiment sort of reads as an alternative to the mantra “What would Jesus do?” in so many clever ways. How did this idea come about? What does “Malala made me do it” mean to you?
“Malala Made Me Do It” was one of the first ideas I even had for Season 2, before I had any other deeper story ideas. And then, as I was writing the script with Bisma’s story arc, where we see her being challenged as a mother with her daughter moving into adolescence, I wanted to explore this idea of motherhood and her tension through the song. But with the song itself, I was like, “It’s just going to be a Malala hype track. I want it to celebrate this incredible woman who’s done so much real, meaningful work for girls and women.”
I must spoil this moment for readers because I have to ask about Malala’s cameo in the show during the fantasized music video for “Malala Made Me Do It.” What was your pitch to Malala to get her on the show?
Initially, I had no intention to reach out to Malala. I was like, “She’s not going to want to be in the show. She’s a very serious person in the world.” But then I went to a talk of hers, and she was expressing her love of comedy, and she had this incredible dark sense of humor, this great wit. And I’m like, “Maybe I have a chance for Malala to be in the show.” So I wrote her a long letter of why I’d love her to be in the show and how I think she’s an inspiration, and sensing her love of comedy really emboldened me to do that.
She was immediately like, “Yeah, let’s do this,” and was so chill, so kind and gracious on the day. So full of love, so easy to work with. I feel like there’s a lot of reverence around her, but she’s a woman in her 20s—she contains multitudes. She does a lot of meaningful, serious work, but she’s also a really fun, joyful person. I really wanted to celebrate that.
Speaking of celebrating women, one of the focal storylines in the season, with the character of Sister Squire, explores what it means to pay homage to those who have come before you by doing something meaningful with the space that they’ve created. Who are some of your inspirations that you tried to honor with this show, particularly with Season 2?
One person for me is the actor who plays Sister Squire, Meera Syal. She is a comedy legend and hero of mine. She co-created a sketch show called Goodness Gracious Me, which is all about the South Asian experience. It was so witty. The show was so inspiring because it was impressive, it was cool, it was edgy. It made me, as a young brown girl, feel cool. To get to have her play Saira’s hero in the show was honestly a dream come true. Between working with her and Malala, I was like, “I can retire now.”
In terms of women in punk specifically, there’s the singer of the band X-Ray Spex, Poly Styrene. She was a woman of color in punk in the ’70s. It was just so rare. Her music really talks about identity, self-expression, these really meaningful feminist themes. It’s so contemporary, yet she was writing this stuff in the ’70s with such a playful tongue-in-cheek vibe. She’s been a hero and inspiration as well, making the show.
I want to talk about the covers this season. You cover three of my favorite songs: “The Reason,” by Hoobastank; “More Than Words,” by Extreme; and then, of course, “Oops!…I Did It Again,” by Britney Spears. How did you decide what songs to cover?
I knew I wanted to do a Britney cover. I am a millennial, I came up at a time when Britney was just everything and a goddess and a queen and so much a part of my childhood. Getting to do a cover of her song, but in a punk way, was just joyful. I think it was one of the most fun days to shoot on set because we felt like we were getting to perform such a brilliant and iconic song, but also making it Lady Parts, in those iconic costumes with their suits. Even now, when I rewatch the show and when I was working in the edit, just watching the Britney performance was my favorite thing. It was everything.
Hoobastank, “The Reason,” it’s just that classic early 2000s, very cheesy, but still such a great tune. It was so fun to get to honor that song and that band because they were such a formative part of my childhood. It was something my sister suggested. We were initially going to write an original that Amina sings to Ahsan. She’s like, “Oh, it should sound like Hoobastank’s ‘The Reason.’ ” I’m like, “Wait, Hoobastank’s ‘The Reason’ is perfect. Why don’t we just try and get that song?” Because it’s nostalgic and brilliantly cheesy and it’s perfect for the rom-com storyline. So that was a no-brainer.
Oh my God, do you remember the music video for “More Than Words”? Black and white and the two of those guys with their long hair and guitar. Again, such an iconic moment growing up. That song was so phenomenal. So much of making Lady Parts is an excuse to just bring in all the music I loved growing up, and that was one of those songs that I would watch the music video for and just sing along to. Me and my siblings would sing those harmonies. So, again, it was like, “Oh, I love this song. Can I have it in my show?” It’s such a romantic song, and having Amina and Billy play that and sing that to each other was perfect for the story.
Throughout Season 1, music was a way for the members of Lady Parts to get what they really wanted, whether it was control or creative agency or freedom from self-imposed religious ideals and traditions. Would you say that it still serves the same purpose this season, or does it function slightly differently?
I hadn’t thought of that. I definitely wanted the music of Season 2 to feel like an evolution. I still think music is a way that we see the characters express themselves and express their frustration with how they feel they’re boxed in and limited. With a song like “Glass Ceiling Feeling” or “Villain Era,” it’s that traditional pop-punk sound, but what was new and different was that it was Amina leading that song, so you got to see her really enter her villain era and lead it. “Malala Made Made Me Do It,” for me, was a big move away from Season 1. I was like, “What if Lady Parts did a Western?” It was just trying to push and evolve the music from Season 1, but, in much the same way, I wanted the songs to feel organic, coming out of the storyline and the truth of the characters and grounding it in their experiences.
We wanted the songs to be fun, but we wanted them to also evolve from Season 1 in terms of style and complexity. All the songs are much more difficult to play in Season 2. The actors really upped their game because the songs are faster, they’re more intricate, there were more harmonies in them, so there was a level of difficulty that was much higher this season. But I think, in many ways, the songs operate in a similar vein of allowing the characters to express themselves through music.

interloper: the story behind the story
losing my mind, i need to write this down before matpat breaks out of containment and covers this topic. because of the density of the arg (and lack of computer), all the hidden dev notes have to be supplemented from other investigators, and I'll have a list of creators that inadvertently helped. i wanted the theory on the story to be wholly my interpretation so other theories similar to mine are likely following the same path as me (or read my mind) fhdjd I've been working on a script for about a year now but just needed to get this out.
edit: will be adding and editing periodically!
UPDATE (2025.06) ALMOST DONE WITH WRITING THE SCRIPT!! doing voiceover this week ☆
eida, project skybox, and the connection between fsky + lilico + current interloper theory thread
(spoilers ahead)
brief timeline of a few events
( 1980-1993 ) Digivisions
1991 ; "small CGi development startup" and "European company," FourTwo, slates a 50 minute time slot for "showcase 22."
While not physically present, organizers are sent 3 Tapes to play in order, totaling to a 90 minute presentation.
Only Tape 2 is played ; Lilico.
Footage : only image is a title card of black and white text "demonstration 014 Lilico" and an image of a square with two bright green squares to on either side ; one red "eye" and one blue "eye" ; what looks like a cylindrical body underneath as well as what looks like a structure behind it.
Tape 1 was called "anatomy of a world."
Notable , video segments broken up by black screens with white text & and written in all caps in 3 different languages.
( 2004(?)-??? ) DM Editor
Briefly mentioned in Anomi's Interloper Episode 2 ; at first dismissed as a hoax ; "an old promotional tech demo of a cut source tool." Seems to be related to FourTwo and/or FSKY, and "can easily be speculated that it is related in some form to DMNPCs. A common theory is that it allowed for the creation and interaction of DMNPCs with nodes."¹
( 2005 original upload ) FSKY Forum Ad
Video uploaded by Eida 2014.07.12 ; description "original taken off youtube, full archived ad from 2005"
Footage : Dancing models reminiscent to the dmnpc models. Checkerboard flooring. Model is shown twitching in the background briefly by the end.
Footage text : "favorite games and mods!" , "immersive worlds" , "the future of games entertainment is here!" , "purchase servers today"
FSKY forums website handle is cut off by the end but by indicating the tag line , "server linsting og teknologi for deg" , ie "server listing and technology for you" , we can see the language of origin is Norwegian. Inferring that the domain is .no , we can assume the website originates in Norway.
( ??? ) Makeface demo
Video uploaded by Eida 2014.07.13 ; description "downloaded from the website before it was taken down. watch interloper ghosts episode 8 on my channel"
Footage : Model being scultped seemingly to match a face of a woman in the bottom right corner. Model begins to adhere a head with no textures before cutting abruptly to a completely different model with textures. Checkboard flooring.
Notable , model is using olive.vtf as a file name.
( 2005-2006 , October ) HL2 Interloper Forum Threads
Original discussion 2005.10.14 , OP asks about weird graffiti in the Ravenholm alleyway and adding that "when you walk up to it theres a weird noise"
Notable , during the exchange, OP also explains that they only looked at it because "it made a sound like a scientist voice saying 'oh little one, what now' [...]"
( 2006 )
This is also where Jman finds the " FOR J.J " interloper console command prompt in the files for the UmberellaMan graffiti.
2006.05.04 helmetcreek is uploaded.
2006.05.10 misty is uploaded. ( later recovered by Anomidae in Interloper 6 )
2006.04.23 spookycoast is uploaded.
( 2007 ) Eida Machina Channel
Uploads in order to his original channel as follows:
2007.07.01 " Jan's video " ; description "Prefer PC games, I only wanted to try out my new video editing."
Footage ; a mock video on Top 5 PS3 games. Features screenshots from various demo locations, including the UmberellaMan hallway.
Notable , the song that plays over the video is a French cover of Paint it Black, Marie Douceur - Marie Colère by Marie Laforêt that was released in 1967.
2007.07.07 " garyman eats taco and DIES " ; another Jan Movie.
2007.10.30 " Zombie Slayer "
Footage : "Woman" in the video is named Mona, who uses an HL2 woman citizen model.
Notable , Eida attempts to use said zombie slayer vehicle on Mona but the camera inexplicably "falls" ; video ends to reveal itself as a demo.
2008.06.09 " Garrysman Episode 4 behind the scenes " ; Mona appears static.
2010.02.13 " Dr Breen in the Machine " ; nothing notable.
2011.11.21 " Interloper Episode 3 The Ghosts of City 17 " ; Eida's channel officially changes it's name and opening to an Eida-Mona production. Uploaded as Eida is already being "haunted" by other ingame entities.
Footage : Video begins with a TYPE 5 in which a possible UmbrellaMan is seen. TYPE 4 shown as well.
Eida attempts to use an ingame built ouija board ; Asking for a name reveals the letters W V H. Final test shows erratic movement from a model beside a static camera. static camera moves into a void until reaching what is theorized to be hazflick.map from Half Life 2 beta.
2011.11.25 Upload of final test.
2012.01.04 " Weird Crash TF2 " + 2014.11.22 " It's in My Computer " Uploaded by Editor and given the message "this is it. I'm done for good. leaving you with the last coordinate [ coordinate numbers here ]. please check in a year or two and make sure it's gone. this is it. goodbye."
Footage : Scout "ghost" changes models through glass while Eida watches on, other players cannot see it. UmberellaMan is seen watching. Scout ghost kills player and flies at the screen, crashing TF2.
Unreleased footage reveals that Eida attempted to check the footage inside of the DM Editor.
Coordinates led to an area outside of the cpsteel map ; an enclosed box structure with the letters " HLEM " with a small formation in the center. Here inside, VRAD.exe. By running a demo in the box and playing it back, it seems like the VRAD.exe ERROR had been "released."
2013.06.02 " Interloper 8 Entity Captured " ; description "We have found a real entity inside of half-life 2 deathmatch. This video is a real documentary on capturing a real spirit inside of a computer game, watch now! And subscribe my channel while we experiment with the ghost!"
Footage : A lot of vague concepts here since Eida uses supranatural language. Captures an invisible entity in a box, essentially cut off from the FSKY/int_menu server. Gives it an HL2 Woman Citizen model to "possess." Eida suggests these are "unborn human spirits." Uses DM Editor to interface with the "spirit"/DMNPC.
2023.03.21 Anomi Live Investigation ; Portal RTX is shown connecting to FSKY after a TYPE 2.5(?) is shown ; text reads " connecting go socket.fsky.org "
2023.04.01+05 Anomi discovers that RTX Portal model is connected to the server and int_menu ; model is able to switch valve models with the right click of the mouse. Demos recorded in int_menu are being saved to the server / 2023.12.08 possibly the VRAD ERROR computer marked as " Jan " as the user.
( 2014 ) Eida-Mona
2014.07.12 + 2014.07.13 Eida uploads the FSKY forum ad & Makface demo.
2014.11.21 " MONA DELETED IE I'M DONE. GOODBYE. " ; description "You win. I quit. Now leave me alone. This is my last video. Deleting everything. goodbye and fuck you."
Footage : Mona is deleted with DM Editor. Mona uses the default dancing model from the FSKY ad. An ERROR seemingly destroys Mona (possibly VRAD.exe). Checkerboard flooring.
¹ interloper.miraheze.org/ Interloper Wiki - DM Editor
theory 1
Eida / Johan is the son of someone from FourTwo (+ FourTwo & FSKY are Norwegian)
As stated above, there are indicators of Eida / Johan, FourTwo, and FSKY being of Norwegian origin.
FourTwo was stated to be a “European company” that specialized in, for lack of a better phrase - “weird tech” - focused on “worlds” and notably, a named entity, “Lilico.” It’s also extremely important that it’s Project Skybox’s goal to discover said videos as well as stay involved in the Interloper Investigation.
FSKY forums, judging by their tagline and likely domain of .no, are Norwegian.
Eida’s name on his computer is Johan, the Norwegian equivalent to John. Interestingly, “Johan” ironically translates to “God is gracious.” Eida also has a distinctive accent, I’M SORRY LOL.
With the knowledge of Eida having access to the DM Editor & Interloper demo command along with the FSKY forums BEFORE he became involved with them but after they’ve integrated it into their own servers, it is a question of how exactly he acquired it… For this, I had to do some research.
A few fact’s to note… Statistics Norway shows that a Mother and Father’s age rearing their first child in the 1980s / 1990s would be around 24 to 27 respectively. This would would put the parents at being born around the 1960s.
Eida / Johan begins uploading his videos in 2007, and if born in the 90s, would roughly place him in his tween to teen years, making him likely too young to be running servers with the FSKY crew but old enough to be exposed to Half Life 2 and upload videos with juvenile themes.
There is also… the song. Unless Anomidae just really loves John Wick, I do believe the French cover of Paint It Black is a significant clue. Marie Douceur - Marie Colère by Marie Laforêt was released in 1967, the decade his Mother and Father would have been born and growing up in.
2007 to 2014 is 7 years as well, which would place Eida / Johan around the tender of age of “almost / barely adult now” which might also fuel his juvenile and reckless decision making.
In Interloper B, anonymous discord messenger, jstal1994 makes contact with Anomi. If this is actually Eida / Johan, then this solidifies my theory on his birth year (1994 being the 90s clearly). Interestingly, this name could elude to his last name. In Norwegian, there are a few names that begin with "stal", such as Stalsberg and Stalheim, the latter also being the name of a village in Norway.
theory 2
Eida / Johan and Jan are two different people + Jan is not a dead ex gf but possibly.. a brother?
This is a weird one, especially because of Interloper B in which Anomi encounters Eida seemingly through messages on discord. While it initially seems subject to suspicion, especially when jstal1994 refuses to answer questions directly, it does seem as though this is Eida / Johan. Unless, it's Jan. In Norway, Johan may be shortened to Jan as a nickname, but it's a bit more common in Johannes, while additionally, the name Jan can be a woman's name as well.
In the beginning of the investigation, the first dev note given is specifically noted as "FOR J.J" ; while it may be a stretch, the two J's don't seem to imply a single person as a first name, last name initial as the period is only after the first "J."
Additionally, we see the name of Jan as the user of the computer this VRAD ERROR seems to be coming from(?) or saving to(?) in Anomi's Interloper 7: Following the Light in Source.
From 2007.07.01 to 2007.07.07, Eida's videos are labeled as Jan's videos & movies. Going along with the assumption that Eida / Johan is born in 1994, that would put him at 13 years old when these videos are being made.
to be continued….
#interloper#half life#tf2#arg#interloper arg#anomidae#game theory#i will be coming back to add shit lmao

"Kodaka was barely involved with Danganronpa 3"
This is a narrative I've seen a lot online. Most of the time, this is used as an explanation for why the writing is the way it is. People often say the reason why a lot of the characters seem out of character or why the quality of the writing is poor is because the original mind behind the series had little involvement with the project. This seems to be spread around the fandom as fact, even that one like 5 hour long NezumiVA video says "nowhere is that directive presence missed more in Danganronpa 3 Zetsubouhen."
However, like a lot of claims made by the fandom, this is just blatantly untrue. I can only imagine the reason this gets spread around so much is that people can use the other writers as a scapegoat for why they think the anime is bad, because god forbid Kodaka write anything less than peak fiction.
The main source behind this claim seems to be how a lot of episodes in Danganronpa 3 are credited to different writers, and this somehow means that each writer was behind the story for their respective episode.
To this I have to ask, do you think that's how writing works? Because it isn't. Yes, multiple writers wrote the individual scripts for the episodes, but that doesn't mean they wrote the story. They simply just adapted the scenario that was already written into a script. This is common for media, especially anime.
This is no different from any of the games either. Kodaka is simply credited as being the story planner and scenario writer. Kodaka did not write every single line in every game, there is a whole list of people who are credited for helping write the script.
Danganronpa 3 is a very similar boat. According to an interview with Kodaka, the way the story was written is that he wrote the initial story, it was adapted into an anime, and then he supervised it and made alterations until it was to his liking. Here he even specifies that one of the things he adjusts after the script is written is the dialogue.
This is no different from how any of the games were written. I think it's pretty obvious with how much of the series lore that Danganronpa 3 incorporates into its story that Kodaka was very involved with the project. There are also other interviews where he goes into the decisions he made while working on it.
Kodaka's job in the series is to come up with the story and make sure each entry plays out to his vision (at least with the projects he's involved with). Danganronpa is no different. In both the games and the anime, Kodaka wrote an outline for the story and worked with a team of a lot of people to make sure the final project resembled his outline.
Danganronpa 3 wasn't some afterthought or side project he put together while working on V3, he was clearly just as passionate about it as he was with any of his other projects. Setting aside your own personal thoughts on the anime for a minute, I think it's wrong to dismiss a piece of art like that and even worse to make up reasons to say that the original creator's vision was somehow absent.
Another problem with this claim is that it dismisses the work of the the other writers who worked on Danganronpa, either painting them as irrelevant or using them as a scapegoat when it's convenient. The way these people phrase this makes it sound like they think the other writers who wrote for the games had basically no role in the story while the other writers for the anime are somehow singlehandedly responsible for making the story bad.
Anyways TL;DR know what you're talking about before you talk about something lol

LEE CHILD is JACK REACHER…
originally posted 730 days ago ref 536 (1505)
Jack Reacher — Wikipedia
Lee Child is Jack Reacher’s creator in a series of books based on this fictional ex-military police character, Jack Reacher, that Lee Child created. Off this series, I have read 20 of his books in successions of date published during several years before Jack Reacher became a movie star. I enjoyed the movies very much and the script followed Lee’s story closely.
(1 VID) link https://youtu.be/yAA6hxQgTjQ from back up https://ok.ru/video/9934289308211
Jack Reacher’s life as an ex-military police officer turned civilian carries with him tremendous police, detective skills. Think of him as a muscular feline giant with the smarts of a Sherlock Holmes or a Hercule Poirot who has no moral anguish about beating the shit out off or killing a criminal, if confronted, without pity. Obviously, he is incapable of getting out of trouble, a roaming (homeless) free spirit travelling only with his military ID and toothbrush.

Jack Reacher has been portrait by Tom Cruise, an actor I don’t personally like, but in the role of Jack Reacher that he has played in two movies, I have to admit, he did a great interpretation.

There is a third Jack Reacher movie turned into an 8 episode TV series which I also enjoyed. This time played by Alan Ritchson. Also great.

I will speak next week of Tom Cruise movies and lastly on Alan’s Ritchson TV series.

I have a good AU idea that I wrote a short script for, so let me write a quick summary:
The Man Inside is a Five Nights At Freddy's alternate universe where it combines futuristic, sci-fi, and retro style of Security Breach and onward with the events of the first few games. The story is set to take place in a revamped version of the Fazbear's Fright location, where the Spring Bonnie will awake and question how he got there, for him to realize he has a familiar, sadistic man trapped inside him. This story is still being workshopped, but I like this idea, so I'm gonna keep playing around with this universe until the pieces fit right.
I've made a video about how the robots in FNAF Security Breach are so advanced that they can act more human, even after being aware that they are robots and programmed to act the way they do. I love this concept because of how depressing the trope can get. Another thing I love in FNAF is that, in FNAF 3, William Afton fights for control in the Spring Bonnie suit. Since the suit is in stage mode, and it's programmed to go to noises of children, it'll go to those noises, forcing Afton to go with it without control. Afton is forced to feel pain and is at the mercy of the robot's programming. I love both of these concepts, but I wonder if anyone has put those two concepts together. There's potential in a story of an advanced robot who is programmed to be kind-hearted and outgoing talking to his creator that's trapped inside him, who unbeknownst to him is a serial killer. I know that Fazbear Frights 1 has the story "Count The Ways", which is of a girl trapped in a Freddy suit sentient enough to converse with her while she was given options on how she was gonna die inside, but I'd like the roles to be reversed. Either way, I hope to keep working on it.
