Luke Hemmings from 5SOS climbed through a window into a classroom I was in during a lecture (I think it was a more hellish version of didactics), set next to me, listened and took notes while my brain went “whatthefuckwhatthefuckwhatthefUCK" and when the lecture ended he started to leave but I stopped him to chat for a bit and later told my sister about it.

I don’t remember her reaction because I was woken up by my alarm.

i barley use this account anymore but to say i’m disappointed is an understatement. the boys took a very long time to take any action (and when they did it was minimal) to help raise awareness about the genocide and remained silent for months with fans begging them to say something. then, after a long time of promising they’re working on something, they don’t even take a strong stance and do that bullshit ‘we just want peace’ narrative. it’s not a ‘conflict in Gaza’ it’s a fucking genocide. a genocide has no ‘middle ground’. ‘both sides have lost-‘ one ‘side’ is murdering fucking children. daily. blowing up homes, blocking food and aid, closing borders to escape bullets and bombs, etc. they couldn’t say the word genocide. they couldn’t even say the words free palestine. it’s pathetic.

Do you guys wanna know a silly fun fact about Luke’s birthday this year? This year is aligned exactly the same as his birth year. Like if 16th July, 1996 was a Tuesday then so is 16th of July, 2024. And if 12th of August is a Monday so was 12th of August, 1996. But not just that date specifically every single day of the year is like that no matter what month it is haha.

Also I’m not like a weird stalker ok? I saw it on TikTok the year thing and I was like wait that’s the year Luke was born. Hence, the post lmao.

the phone rang loudly, breaking the silence in the ghostly apartment. the home was never the same when ashton wasn’t around, which hurt, because now more than ever was he rarely around.

“hello?” the broken voice spoke, loud background noises almost drowning him out. “babe are you there?”

“hi ash.” you spoke softly, your heart hurt. speaking to him felt different than it used to, there was no more ‘lighting up’ when he’d call you, only frustration. you knew you wouldn’t talk to him again for weeks afterwards. “how are things?”

“busy, as always.” he chuckled, “are-” he broke off, the line beyond broken. “and i wasn’t-” he went silent afterwards, expecting your reply.

though your silence spoke volumes, he knew how you felt and what was coming, he just didn’t know how to deal with it.

you sighed “i miss you.” you broke, the waterworks beginning to flow. every night you spent away from him drove you crazy.

“i miss you too, baby.” ashton’s words meant nothing to you, honestly, if he really did miss you he’d do something about it - yet he never did.

he never would. his work came first, always. it was something that, although you admired, constantly killed you. you’d never be more important than what ash dedicated his life to.

“i love you” your statement went unheard, the like going dead. every time you’d speak such would happen, you two would never have a proper conversation.

it hurt more than anything to know how far away your boy was. it hurt too much.
