Angel of Spring's Milk
So, I found an Asian yogurt drink bottle I saved from not that long ago (it's glass), and it has a nipple for the babies (babies can also drink it). And despite my adult ass being well, an adult, I grew curious.
There is a drink called Angel Milk, which consists of sugar, milk and vanilla, right?
But I craved matcha milk tea
But I have nowhere to get some
So, I did a thing.
I want to share this recipe with everyone who is a fan of milk tea (those who like the matcha/green tea flavor mostly)
And yes, I did serve myself the milk in the "baby" bottle because I'm bored and I have not much to say about it
So, let's get started:
The Recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
• Milk [1/4 A CUP OR 1/2 CUP] (any kind is fine, I recommend less thicker milks like normal milk/lactose-free milk or oat milk. I used oat milk in this recipe)
• Sugar [TO YOUR LIKING] (raw cane sugar is a good option and it was my option too)
• Vanilla Extract [1 1/2 TSP]
• (Instant) Matcha powder [1/2 TBSP OR TO YOUR LIKING]
WHAT YOU NEED:
• 8/12 oz cup or a bottle with a lid (lid preferred for this)
• A spoon
• somewhere to warm the drink up (microwave or stovetop)
• Sauce pan (if you are doing it on the stove)
• A large microwaveable mug (if heating it in the microwave)
The process:
1. To a large cup or bottle, add your sugar and matcha to measure, mix the dries together well. If the matcha is clumpy, that's okay. You can unclump it by breaking it apart or leaving it as it is.
2. Add your dash of vanilla and give it a little shake. That way, the sugar and matcha can seep the flavors into it a bit.
3. Measure out your milk into the cup and make sure it does not overfill. You'll need a good third or so of space to be able to mix it [or shake the bottle] to mix it well.
4. (MICROWAVE OPTION) Pour the drink into a large mug and place it in the microwave with a good-sized paper towel under it to prevent it from over spilling. Microwave it for 30 seconds, depending on the microwave power. After it's lukewarm but not hot, stir it throughly and then microwave it for another 30 seconds. Stir well, and check to see if it's warm but not hot.
4. (STOVE TOP OPTION) Pour the drink into a small sauce pan, set the heat to medium-low. Let the milk warm up and stir occasionally. Do not let it boil or get too hot.
5. Pour the drink into the designated cup/bottle to serve. If it is too hot, let it cool until a desired temperature is achieved.
6. Taste test and add more milk or sugar to adjust to your likings
7. Enjoy!
I don't know if there is already a recipe like this one or similar, but I just want to share it anyways as it's actually really good! And it reminds me of matcha milk tea!
A good drink to have when you crave matcha milk tea
Or anything else, really!
I hope you guys enjoy this little thing I made and that it comes out good!
Please tell me what you think of it if you do follow this recipe! ✨️

AN: After Thursday's episode, we all need some good Jo and Luna fluff where they're both happy and together! I swear if Krista doesn't make this right I'm going to cry a river and then riot on twitter!
……………………………………………………………………
Jo sighed yet, all of her exhaustion faded away as she walked into Luna's room on the Ped’s floor. Luna had graduated to her own room a month ago after her bout of Aspiration Pneumonia. She had been taken off the ventilator, although she was still on supplemental oxygen. Since then, she had also gained a pound and a half and now weighed 6 pounds. Her preemie was now a little baby, still small, but absolutely perfect. Luna was doing so well and Jo couldn't be more proud of her little fighter.
“Hello, my Little Moon,” Jo said as she went over to Luna's crib and looked down to see her swaddled in the white and blue star blanket that Jo had hung over her incubator since she was four weeks old.
Luna woke up and let out the most adorable yawn, but immediately her face contorted into a grimace as she let out a cry. Jo cooed as she carefully lifted Luna out of the crib and was careful with her oxygen and other monitors as she moved over to sit in the rocking chair. The move from the crib to the rocking chair without disturbing any of the monitors or oxygen tubes was a delicate dance that Jo had become an expert at.
Luna’s fussing continued, but the second Jo picked her up, she started to calm. By the time they settled in the rocking chair, Luna had calmed down and was staring up at her with big blue eyes. Jo smiled down at Luna as they rocked back and forth and held her baby.
“Mama had such a hard day today. I don't remember my first year of residency being this hard, but Auntie Carina is kicking Mama's butt. And she speaks in Italian at a hundred words a minute, so I can barely keep up. I think I'm going to have to learn Italian if I want to keep studying with her. Can you help your Mama learn Italian, mia bella luna?” Jo said as she trailed her finger down Luna's cheek.
“But how was your day, Luna? Were you good for Dr. Hayes and your nurse Jackie?” Jo asked as Luna just stared up at her before Jo reached for the tablet and looked at Luna's chart. “Oh, I see you ate a lot today, and you were able to burp, but you peed on the nurse again. I thought we agreed we liked nurse Moria? And then you got some playtime and a good nap, no poopy diapers. I guess you’re saving that for Mama, but let's try not to poop in the tub again?”
Jo continued to talk to Luna and tell her all about her day as she stared up at her. Luna became fussy again, and Jo got her a bottle, then burped her, and changed her diaper. Sure enough, she was saving the poop for Jo, but thankfully she didn't ruin her onesie. Jo got her cleaned up and then pulled out the spaced themed play mat and set it on the floor, gently placing Luna in the middle for a bit of tummy time. She also put on some soft music and dangled the little rocket ship in front of her as it seemed to be Luna’s favorite, or at least she stared at it more than the other toys. Luna usually didn’t like tummy time, and after a few minutes, she began to fuss, so Jo moved her onto her back where she wiggled her arms and legs and stared up at the little rocket ship that Jo clipped to the overhead bar.
Luna wasn't too active as she was still technically a newborn despite being three months old. They had to subtract from her due date, and so technically, Luna was three weeks old. Yet, she seemed so big to Jo, despite the fact that she was only 6 lb. She couldn't help but remember how tiny she was when she was in the incubator, and here she was, moving around and turning her head. She just seemed to have grown so much in such a short time. Luna wiggled around for a while until she decided she was done and began to cry. Jo swept her up into her arms and held her close, enjoying their snuggle time.
As it got dark, Jo ordered food from the cafeteria and ate dinner one handed as she held Luna. After dinner, Jo got Luna set up for a bath. Because of her sensitive skin, she only got one every few days, but they were Jo's favorite days as she got to play with her in the water, and Luna loved the water. Jo filled up the bath in the adjoined bathroom, and nurse Jackie came in to help Jo unhook Luna from all of her monitors and the oxygen tubes. Finally, Jo completely undressed her and wrapped her in a fresh swaddle blanket before going into the bathroom and setting Luna in the baby tub. Jo sat down on the ground next to the tub and grabbed a cup as she gently poured warm water over Luna’s stomach in the swaddle. Luna’s eyes immediately fluttered close as she seemed content in the bath.
“Yeah, you like the warm bath, don't you, Little Moon,” Jo said with a smile as she poured the water over her body again.
After a few minutes, Jo began to unswaddle one of Luna’s arms one at a time so she can gently wash them with a washcloth and a little bit of soap. She made sure to get in between her fingers and toes before Jo finally opened the blanket, and she rubbed the washcloth over her little tummy, gentle of the scars from her Bronchogenic cyst  and the Nissen fundoplication a few weeks ago. They were just hairline scars now and Jo knew that by the time she was an adult, they would just be finger-length long. When she grew up and asked about the scars, Jo would tell Luna that her scars were nothing to be ashamed of because she was a fighter and her scars were a symbol of her survival. Jo finished washing her body and swaddled Luna back up before she gently rubbed the washcloth over Luna's cheek.
“Oh I know, I know. We don't like this part, do we?” Jo said to Luna as she fussed and turned her head away.
Jo tried to be as quick as possible, gently scrubbing away the stickiness leftover from the tape to her oxygen tubes and being as gentle with her baby's skin as she could. Jo finished up and grabbed the grey elephant baby towel as Luna cried. She unswaddled her from the wet blanket and picked her up, putting Luna in her lap with the towel as she quickly wrapped it around her. Jo held Luna close and cuddled her gently, rocking back and forth until Luna calmed down again before she drained the bath and went back into the room. Jo gently laid her down on the fresh crib sheets that Jackie had changed.
“Alright, diaper first and then, lotion, bottle, book, songs, and bed, sound good, my Little Moon?” Jo asked as she wiggled her fingers over Luna’s tummy.
Jo hooked Luna back up to all of her monitors and got the oxygen tubes placed as she kicked. Jo grabbed the lotion and massaged Luna’s gentle skin as she looked up at Jo with her big blue eyes. Jo picked out a fresh onesie, this one was a light blue with white outlines of little leaves all over it, before grabbing the matching blanket that Jo gently wrapped around her, but not yet swaddling her. The room had a little sink and countertop where Jo was able to make up a bottle before she chose a book from the shelf. Tonight’s book was called ‘My Little Brave Girl’ and was one of the many gifts that Jo had received since she began the process of adopting Luna. The books had been her favorite as she settled in the rocking chair with the bottle and the book as she read to her Little Moon.
As Jo finished the book, she looked down at Luna, who was still working on the bottle. “You know, for someone who only drinks about 4 oz, you sure do take a while,” Jo said as she smiled down at her and continued to stare at her as she ate.
These were her favorite moments of the day. The calm, quiet moments that she got to spend with Luna, just holding her and taking care of her. Jo transitioned into the role of Luna's mom faster than she could have ever imagined, although there were some hiccups here and there. Jo felt lucky that she still had lots of nurses and other staff at the hospital to take care of Luna while she was at work, yet she still felt every bit Luna's mom. She tried to be there when she woke up in the morning, she spent all her breaks there, and she was there to put Luna to bed at night. These days she practically lived in the room with Luna, and Hayes didn't have the heart to kick her out when she fell asleep in the rocking chair. At least it was better than the crowded Loft with Helm and Levi still crashing there. It was rough though, Jo couldn’t take off her mask or ventilator helmet for very long, and she couldn’t officially set up a cot, so she occasionally slept in the on-call room down the hall. Yet Jo made it work because she would rather sleep in a rocking chair than be away from Luna.
Jo heard a knock on the glass and looked up to see Bailey and Webber smiling at her as they waved. “Look, Auntie Bailey and Uncle Richard are here to see you.”
Luna had finished her bottle, and Jo placed it on the shelf before she got up and walked over to stand in front of the window so Bailey and Weber could see her.
“Well, hello Luna, aren't you getting big and you look so happy in your Mama's arms,” Bailey said as she waved and smiled at Luna.
“She's getting big, isn't she Wilson,” Webber asked, looking down at little Luna and giving her a wave.
“She is, she ate a whole 4 ½ ounces tonight, and now she weighs 6 lb, she’s getting so big,” Jo said, smiling down at Luna with pride.
“Oh well, you gotta get big and strong so that you can keep your Mama on her toes, isn’t that right, little missy,” Bailey said as she cooed at Luna, who was fixated on her.
Luna had so many aunties and uncles who came by and visited her every day at the hospital. Even Meredith had managed to stop by and visit. Although they weren’t allowed in Luna's room, they waved and smiled at her through the glass. Bailey and Weber talked to her for a little while before Luna grew fussy and tired, and they left so Jo could put her down.
Jo pulled the curtain across the glass and turned off the overhead lights before turning on the moon shaped light. She turned on the sound machine that she had gotten to play the quiet sounds of the rain. She put Luna back down on the crib to swaddle her before she picked her back up again and returned to the rocking chair.
“La la lu, La la lu,
Oh, my little star sweeper,
I'll sweep the stardust for you,
La la lu, La la lu,
Little soft, fluffy sleeper,
Here comes a pink cloud for you.”
Jo had to admit she didn't have the best singing voice, but Luna’s eyes fluttered close, and she settled in her arms, and quietly drifted off. Over the past few weeks, Jo had learned all the Disney lullabies, and the Little Star Sweeper song from Lady and the Tramp had quickly become Luna and Jo’s favorite.
Even after Luna fell asleep, Jo kept singing the lullaby once more, and she continued to rock and hold Luna. She never felt like she got enough time with her, in between her residency and her studies, and Luna being in the hospital, being rounded on and checked over. Jo could hold Luna forever and some nights she did. As soon as she was sure she could move without waking her up, Jo grabbed her OB/GYN books and the TV remote and settled in to study with Luna in one arm. Although it was hard to concentrate with the sleeping little girl in her arms captured her attention every time Jo looked at her. She didn't even notice Hayes and Schmitt coming into the room with the interns for the night rounds until he pulled back the curtain and turned on the lights.
“What the hell are you doing? Turn off the lights!” Jo hissed at them as she pulled the blanket up over Luna’s head.
“Our apologies Wilson,” Hayes said as he glared at the interns until Dr. Khan turned off the lights.
“Young Ortiz, presen.”
“Luna Ashton,” Ortiz said in a normal tone as Luna stirred in Jo’s arms.
“Shhh!” Jo shushed her along with a glare as Ortiz shrank back.
“Ummm Luna Ashton, 4 ½ months old, born at 26 weeks, surgery at four weeks old for a Bronchogenic cyst, and another at 4 months for Nissen fundoplication, is now breathing on her own and her gastroesophageal reflux is under control. She has had no episodes of apnea or bradycardia for the last two weeks, is able to maintain her temperature, is taking donated breast milk by bottle, and weighed 6lb and 1oz at this morning’s weight check.”
As Ortiz presented, Hayes came over, and Jo reluctantly let him hold Luna and move her over to lay in the crib as he checked her lungs. Luna slept through the whole thing. It was the touch of a good pediatric surgeon. Arizona had that touch and so did Alex. Jo took a deep breath as she ignored the thought of her ex-husband and focused on the baby in front of her.
“Conclusion?” Hayes asked as he finished his exam and gave Luna back to Jo.
“Discharge with continued supplemental oxygen at home?” Ortiz said, unsure as she read the chart.
“What?” Jo asked, looking between Ortiz and Hayes.
Hayes just smiled as Jo just stared at him in shock. “Carry on to the next patient and wait for me there.”
“Levi can stay,” Jo said, looking at him.
The interns filtered out and closed the door as Jo just started at Hayes. “Luna can go home with me?”
“Yes, she is doing well even on supplemental oxygen, and we’ll get you set up with a CPAP machine and an apnea monitor, but with a doctor for a mum, I’m sure Luna will be in good hands,” Hayes said as he crossed his arms with a smile. “Get your maternity leave sorted and anything else you need from the courts, and we will schedule a date for the car seat test, and then the two of you can go home.”
“She can come home with me. Luna can come home?” Jo asked, still in disbelief.
“Yes,” Hayes said with a smile.
“Jo this is amazing! Luna gets to go home!” Levi said, getting excited. “I’ll help you get the medical equipment tonight, and you can talk to Bailey and Carina tomorrow, and she can be home by this weekend.”
“Home,” Jo whispered, looking down at Luna.
Home had been the hospital for Luna’s entire life and this room had become Jo’s home too for the last few weeks. The thought of bringing her baby home to the Loft was both exciting and terrifying. Here at the hospital, Luna had round-the-clock medical care and a number of nurses who helped Jo take care of Luna’s day-to-day needs as well as all of her medical needs. Going home meant that Jo would have to do all of this on her own and although she knew how to do it, it was different because Luna was her baby. She had taken care of a number of babies when she was a resident in Ped, but this was her own kid, and there were no breaks, no shift ends. It was only her.
“Jo. Hey Jo,” Levi said, putting his hand on her shoulder as Jo finally came out of her head and looked up at him. “Don't worry, it's a good thing, and you're more than ready for it.”
“I know,” Jo said, taking a deep breath before she looked down at Luna. “We're going to be going home, my Little Moon, home.”
The day of the car seat test came, and from the moment they set Luna into the little black car seat, Jo became a nervous wreck. They got Luna settled, set up the monitor, and then they started the clock. Jo spent the hour pacing the length of Luna's room as she watched the monitor for any signs of a drop in heart rate. Jo was an anxious parent whenever it came to anything regarding Luna. Each time she so much as hiccup wronged, Jo instantly tensed up. She became just another mom on the NICU ward, and all of her logic and medical training went out the window as she worried for her daughter. Luna just watched Jo as she paced before she decided that her Mama was boring and slept through the rest of the car seat test.
The hour was over before she knew it and Luna was officially a graduate of the NICU. There was a little bit of excitement and celebration in the room as everyone started clapping. Jo got Luna out of the car seat as she smiled down at her Little Moon. One of the nurses presented her with a tiny graduation cap that had the number of days Luna was in the NICU, along with a tiny little onesie that said NICU graduate. They were finally going home and Jo could hardly believe it.
They all got packed up to leave, and all of the nurses and staff who had come to know and love Luna just as much as she did, came to see them off. They presented her with so many gifts that Jo could barely fit them all in her car. When they walked out of the hospital, everybody was there to see them off, including Bailey, Webber, Levi, Helm, Maggie, Winston, Hayes, Teddy, Owen, and Amelia as they all wished her congratulations. Finally, Link was waiting for them next to her car.
“Your chariot awaits m’ladies,” Link said, opening the back door for her.
“Thank you for doing this,” Jo said as she put Luna’s car seat in the car and reached out to pull Link in for a hug.
She felt so lucky that she had such amazing friends and family who stepped up to be there for her and Luna. She would have never succeeded in becoming Luna's guardian or becoming her Mama if it weren't for her friends encouraging and supporting her.
“Ready?” Link asked as he turned around in the front seat as Jo got Luna’s car seat settled and sat next to her.
“Yes,” Jo said as she looked down at Luna, who she suckled on her pacifier, still looking ever so small in her car seat. “Let's go home.”
Jo looked down at Luna for the beginning of the ride home, cooing to her and talking to her about the outside world and the parks and other places they would go to. Link made sure to try and distract her with small talk, excitedly talking about how they could have playdates now with Scout and he can meet Luna. As well as a few tricks and things he had learned in the past few months with Scout. It was weird seeing her best friend be a parent and even weirder to think that she was now a mom to her own little girl.
She was so focused on Luna that she didn't even notice when he finally pulled up to Meredith's. It was bittersweet, pulling up to the house. Jo had originally wanted to take Luna home to the Loft as it had been her home for years, but when she did the first walk through with her lawyer, she said it was unlikely that she would get approved to live in such a place as it was hardly baby-friendly. Meredith’s house had been approved for foster care before, and all they had to do was update the license and redo the background checks. Meredith had graciously and excitedly offered to let Jo and Luna move back into the house. Still, it wouldn't be home, but then again, the Loft hadn't felt like home since Alex had left. Jo felt like she was just shuffling between the hospital and the Loft the way she did when she was in foster care. She hoped that with time and with a little decorating, their room at the house could become their home.
Link quickly came around to help her out of the car. He grabbed Luna’s oxygen tank, and Jo held the car seat as they walked into the house. As soon as they walked in, they saw the huge banner across the staircase that said ‘Welcome home Auntie Jo and Luna.’ As they looked into the living room Meredith and the kids were all there waiting for them. As soon as they noticed her, they all jumped up to run and greet her.
“Auntie Jo, you're here!” Zola said, getting to her first and wrapping her arms around Jo’s waist.
“We missed you!” Ellis said as she and Bailey bombarded Jo with hugs before they all pulled back and crouched down in front of the car seat that Jo had set on the floor.
“Is this her? Is this our new cousin?” Zola said, smiling down at her. “Hi, baby Luna.”
“She's so tiny,” Bailey said as they all stared down at Luna. “Scout was much bigger when you brought him home from the hospital, Uncle Link.”
Luna stared up at her new cousins with wide eyes taking them in as they watched her. Jo knew she shouldn't be, but she couldn't help but feel anxious, especially as Ellis reached out to touch her.
“Ellis, you need to ask Auntie Jo first before you touch Luna, and you need to wash your hands too,” Meredith said, coming up behind Ellis and putting her hands on her shoulders. “Why don't the three of you go put the finishing touches on Auntie Jo's room, and we’ll be up in a second.”
“Yeah, come on guys,” Bailey said, leading the charge up the stairs.
“I'm really glad you're here, Auntie Jo. We’ve missed you, especially since Uncle Alex left,”  Zola said, giving her another hug before she disappeared up the stairs.
Jo smiled as they left, she had missed them too. They were her nieces and nephew despite how they weren't blood-related. She knew that they loved her, but going to Meredith's house just wasn't the same without Alex. And she hadn't seen the kids since the pandemic started.
Meredith came over and pulled her in for a hug before she looked back at Luna. “How does it feel to finally be home with her?”
“I am excited and a little terrified,” Jo said as she reached down and got Luna out of her car seat.
“I was too when we first brought Zola home, but you'll get the hang of it soon enough,”  Meredith said, giving her shoulder a squeeze before she looked back at the living room. “We've got a second oxygen machine set up down here, as well as a pack and play, a high chair, and anything else you and Luna could need.”
“Thank you,” Jo said, looking around the room and smiling. She recognized the pack and play and some of the toys from when Meredith’s kids were babies, and it was nice that Luna was able to inherit these things from family.
“Well, let's go upstairs, and you can start unpacking,” Meredith said as she walked over to the stairs.
“I'll stick around and help you out,” Link said as he picked up the oxygen tank again and the three of them headed up.
Having lived there once before, Jo was familiar with the house and wasn't surprised when they led her into Cristina/Maggie's former room. She could hear all the kids giggling behind the door, and Bailey peeked out before Zola pulled him back in. Finally, they opened the door to her room. Jo gasped as she looked around her room. It was all set up and ready for her and Luna. The walls had been painted the same light red color as the door to the loft, and her bed had been made up with the same comforter, and even her macrame tapestry hung on the wall. Alex’s nightstand was on the right and hers on the left. There were their shelves and her woven laundry basket. Her TV was set up across from the bed, even her plants hung in the window. It was like they had simply picked up everything from her room in the Loft and put it exactly how it was in the room before her.
In the corner of the room, there was a galaxy tapestry with hanging lights at the differentiation of the little space for the nursery. Luna's white crib with her little rocket shelf was next to it with the rocker, and the little mobile with all the planets, stars, and the little moon were hung above it. Jo took everything in with wide eyed as she looked around the room and a smile stretched across her face.
“Being a new mom is hard,” Meredith said as Jo turned around to look at her and Link. “It's exhausting and never ending, and it can be very lonely, especially if you're doing it as a single parent. It's good to have a support system, and since I'm only back at work part-time, I’m able to help you whenever you need it.”
“And since Amelia and I are switching off shifts for now and Scout is here whenever one of us isn't, I can help you to, and we can figure out how to raise our kids together,” Link said with a smile, it was something that they had once dreamed about doing and now they finally could.
“I can help you out too,” Zola chimed in, hopping off the bed and coming over to them. “I can play with her and keep her entertained, and I can give her a bottle or put her down for a nap, too.”
“Me too, except that I don't do diapers,” Bailey said as everyone laughed.
“Don't worry guys, I'll do all the diaper changes,” Jo assured him as she reached out to ruffle his long blonde hair.
“Can I sleep in here with you, Auntie Jo?” Ellis asked, she had already crawled up on Jo's bed and was happily lying against the pillows.
She had always crawled up on their bed whenever Jo and Alex babysat her at the Loft. Jo had no doubt that Ellis would do exactly as her mom used to do and slip into Jo’s bed in the middle of the night.
“We’ll see Ellie-Belly,” Jo said, giving her a wink before she looked around the room again. “Thank you for doing this. It means a lot to me, to both of us.”
She looked over at her two best friends who were like her family and they would be Luna’s family too. She smiled down at Luna, who was eagerly looking around, and walked over to the crib, she gave the mobile a light spin, turning the stars and planets, and it quickly got her attention. Luna stared at it for a second before she caught Jo’s eye and stared up at her, and opened her mouth as if she was smiling and Jo smiled too.
“Welcome home, my Little Moon.”

Everyday uses of Kangen Water
Tumblr media
Introduction
Kangen water is made using a home water ionizer called the Kangen Water machine. Kangen is a brand name owned by Enagic™ Corporation for ionized alkaline water made by their water ionizer. All water ionizers use electrically-charged plates to break down ordinary tap water into alkaline water, with essential minerals like calcium and magnesium in it, and they also make acidic water at the same time. Water ionizers make alkaline and acidic waters at the same time because of the process they use to ionize water is called Electrodialysis.
Electrodialysis – The process used to make Kangen water™
The electrodialysis process uses charged plates that are separated by an ion-permeable membrane to separate water into alkaline and acid halves. It does this by breaking down the mineral salts found in tap water. The most common mineral salts in tap water are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate.
The charged plates cause the mineral salts in water to separate, the calcium and magnesium are attracted to the negatively charged plate, while the carbonate is attracted to the positively charged plate. Calcium and magnesium are both unstable in water, so they immediately combine with water molecules to form mineral hydroxides. The carbonate is drawn to the positively charged plate, where it combines with water to acidify it. The mineral hydroxides give alkaline Kangen water™ its alkaline pH and cause the surface tension of the water to decrease, which makes it easier for the body to absorb.

To prevent diaper rash begin by making certain that your baby is properly hydrated with pH 8.5-9.5 Alkaline Drinking Water. Next replace baby wipes with a container filled with soft cloths or unbleached paper towels and Mild Acidic Water. Use to cleanse diaper area each time you change your baby, pat dry and then apply a very fine mist to the skin. This assists in keeping the pH of the skin balanced.
Caution—Step Away From The Antiperspirant: Sweat is one of your body’s natural methods for ridding itself of toxins, so stopping that natural function can create a serious backlash in your lymphatic system. Try this Liquid FAST for a flatter stomach (quick fix/after binge)
I lost a huge amount of fat/weight !!!!MASTER POST!!!!!
5 days or 14 days
Hey y’all,
How’s life going?
Well, mine is o.k. In two weeks I am going on vacation with my parents (the beach). I bought a lot of cropped tops, which are actually really cute. The problem is that when I tried them on I
1. Didn’t have my glasses with me, 2. The lightning was really bad,
which means that I couldn’t properly see how I looked in those clothes. I thought I looked cute in them and that my stomach was kind of flat (lol, it wasn’t). Now I’m crying because I tried them on again at home and I look fat and terrible in them.
To fix that problem, I am going on a liquid “fast” (or diet, you can call it what ever you want).
How it’s going to work/rules?
First 5 days:
I “fast” for 5 days.
I only eat liquid food and one or two semi-liquid food(s) (like a fruit smoothie or fruit pure..look at attached pictures for reference) a day.
I have an eating window from 12 pm - 7 pm (except medication)
I have to weigh myself first thing in the morning and at night (9pm - 1am depending on when I am going to bed).
You can eat how many calories you want, but I’ll stick to a 400-800 calorie range because everything higher will make me feel bad about myself.
Soups, smoothies, fruit pure, coffee with extras (caramel syrup, choc,), hot choc, sugary soda, juice, etc ... is “food”.
diet coke, water, water with taste (low cals), coffee & tea (black and/or with max. 100ml  low fat milk or plain plant based milk) are drinks and you can consume them after 7 pm.
If you want any solid food you can try make it liquid-ish (for example melt chocolate or blend your fruit)
You are allowed to put low cal veggies in your soup and/or 2 tablespoons of noodles BUT only once a day.
On the fifth day only take foods and drinks into your body until 6pm, so you can get the best result the next day.
Don’t purge or use laxatives or do extrem sport.
Don’t do sports but of you can’t live without it: 30 min run or some small home workout (15-30 min) and household chores are enough. If you feel like you have to move... take a max 1 hour walk. If you do more exercise you will be more prone to binging. You will binge more likely.
If you are going longer than 5 days:
On the 6th day weigh yourself/make progress pics. This will be your afters***
You are allowed two eat one of your favorite foods. It can be cheesy pasta, pizza, McDonald's. What ever you want. But please don’t go overboard with it.
If you like pasta make a 100g pasta and add whatever you want ( I like some tomato sauce and shredded cheese), eat 2-3 slices of pizza not the whole thing, eat your BigMac or McFirst (try to keep your burger/wrap/chicken nuggets in a 550 cal range). If you had only a cheeseburger get a portion of small fries and a low calorie drink. Have your fav breakfast...
What ever you eat don’t make it a 1000+ calorie fiest (unless you are ok with it and know nothing’s going to happen/you will maintain because I usually gain after such big meals)
If you had a smaller meal (like 400-500 cals) you can eat a dessert (small pice of choice cake or jello.. something with max. 400 cals) or you can drink a BIG glass of your fav soda and eat some fresh fruit. Your ‘dessert’ shouldn't have over 400cals.
The only rule here is don’t start eating after 7 pm.
And that's it for the 6th day. One big nice meal you love and some extras like choc or soda distributed during the day.  This day will have 800-900 cals.
The next day you start again with the 5 days of liquid food and your fav food on the sixth day. After those 12 days you then:
stop
Set a really low cal limit for the day after your fav meal (13th day) or do a liquid fast with max 500 cals
eat on day 13 from 1pm-6pm. Drink a lot of coffee and diet coke (makes you poop). Stop drinking bubbly things after 7pm. After 8pm you are allowed to drink 0.5L of plain water.
The next day (day 14) you wake up you don’t eat or drink anything until 12.30pm (except meds).
You pee and poop if you have to.
Have a shower, dry your hair and body completely.
You step butt naked on the scale and weigh yourself. You put on your underwear and make your pictures.
Thats your big AFTER pic/weight.
You are finished. Good job! Share your results with me if you want! I’ll post what I eat in a day on this fast so stay tuned.
You can stop reading here. The rest is just extra info and one example day for best results + pics I talked about earlier + average calories
***you have a before picture you take on day one. one on day 6 and 12 which are progress photos and your AFTER picture with the end result you take on day 14.
1.0L: 33.81402 us fl oz
0.5L: 16.90701us fl oz
Why should I do this?
It’s easy. Really.
I take my measurements and meds after I wake up.
Then I wait until 12pm until I drink my coffee. I can drink water or diet coke until then.
If you drink a huge cup of tea or coffee with milk and some syrup if you like, you will feel really full and energized and it will empty you ... make you poop. I recommend drinking 0.5 Liters. 250-350ml coffee and the rest can be low fat milk and some syrup. I usually do 270 ml milk put in 1-2 tbsp of caramel syrup and mix that up. Then I fill up my mug (which holds about 0.5L) with 0.9% fat milk. As I said, it keeps you full and energized.
If I get hungry I will make myself soup. I boil about 0.5-1L of water and put a soup cube (usually a beef one) in the water and add some “soup veggies”. Those veggies are dried and come in a jar. I take a handful for 1L. I let that boil for a few minutes. You have 1 Liter worth of food in your stomach but only 60 cals. It keeps you satisfied and non-nauseous for 2 hours.
Last coffee
If I get hungry, I’ll drink 300ml of orange juice and afterwards some water. At around 5pm I’ll have a little bit of fruit pure (it’s basically baby food).
At 6 or 6.30pm I’ll than make myself another soup with some veggies.
In between ”””””meals”””””””” and after 7pm I’ll drink diet coke and no cal iced tea and water plain or with flavors (they have 10-20 cals per bottle) A LOT like I pee every 5-10 min.
The fav meal day keeps me from binging because on day 5 I get some cravings for solid food so that's what this day is here for. 13th day is also really important and should be rather strict. It’s here to empty you. To get the liquid and consumed food out of you. You should not overdo drinking on this day and the 400-500 cals on day 13 are only here, so that you can eat if you feel nauseous or you are with family... like an emergency.
On day 14 you should be as empty as possible. Everything is peed and pooped out by 1pm (trust me). You are at your emptiest. Your weight is YOUR weight. No food weight from yesterdays meal or the bottle of water you drank right before bed.
YOU WILL EAT ON AN AVERAGE OF 560-600 CALS per day for 14 days.
I wouldn’t recommend doing it longer than two cycles + the last 2 days(one cycle is 5 days fasting + 1 day fav meal). It gets boring and you get cravings. Do it again after 3-4 weeks.
I’ll tell my parents I go to bed at 9.30pm so I am less tempted to binge. After 2-3 days you will notice a huge drop in appetite and binge feelings and after those 14 days 100g chicken breast, some sauce, a piece of bread and some salad will keep you full for houuuuuuurs like you wake up at 10 am, have a coffee, soup at  lunch time and this chicken at 3 or 4pm. You have eaten perhaps 400 cals but you feel like you’ve eaten 1300. Works for me definitely. It gives me this kickstart I need and it makes me loo
Don’t take your “night measurements” to serious or any other ones until day 14 because it really is just water weight.

Just kids’ stuff
planned part one: https://iraniq.tumblr.com/post/167766473412/united
unplanned part two: https://iraniq.tumblr.com/post/182277422122/avalanche
definetly haven’t even thought abut it part tree:*read below*
4:43
Daniel crying like it's the end of the world. Empty bed, since El, went to feed him. Warmth is back. 6:02 Rose stole Ava's blanket - fight. El wnet to separate them in 2 beds. Warmth is back.
7:12
Brandon went to ravish Niq's secret stash of sweets - she is having her mother's voice, that is currently echoing through all the walls in the house... Warmth isn't back yet.
7:37
Em went to check on Daniel and he is crying again... The sound is getting louder. She is caring him in the bedroom... Where is warmth to fix this...
10:03
Everyone are gathered for breakfast, dressed. Behaving... El had a nervous break down and yelled and cried. So Joker send her on a walk and took charge of the offspring for the day.  - So... - He looked at his children, positioned around the half circled table. - Why are you so mean to your mom? Ha! She ruined her pretty butt to bear you all... Show some respect, damn you! Niq was one eye and hand on her phone and she raised the other.  - I was...  - Shut it! You were the one who ruined her at 1st place.  - You were the one who got her pregnant. - she yelled, could she not have this annoying voice.  - I was around 20, I just wanted a scratch - he yelled back, hoping the rest won't get or worse, remember what her said - ... Anyway. - he compossed himself and fixed his hair. The older one sighed. He slammed his fist on the kitchen table and they all winced.  - Listen what... You either fix your bratty attitude, or I am calling you a 'hormonal behavior' till you turn 22. She mumbled "Fine", the rest were quiet and the baby was whimpering, trying to lick it's snot.  - Em! Fix the baby. The 7 years old, got a napkin and stole the snot, which made Daniel quite unhappy. The twince were moved on his both sides so they can make silly faces, so he could be quiet.  - Daddy, is it true you put us into mom's vagina? - Rose asked. Since Ava was busy with Daniel. Em chocked on her laugh when Niq kicked her to be quiet. Brandon, was falling asleep, since he wasn't digesting.  - Yes, do you have a problem with that.  - Well you shouldn't ... Since you dislike us. - the girl's eyes got watery.  - I don't dislike you... - he pinched the bridge of his nose. - I just hate when you make your mother sad.. She isn't here to be your slave. I hate when she is crying, and whoever makes her cry, will have a problem with me.... Even if that's you... - he pointed at all. - And I can be so much more than an idiot your mother laughs at... you got your jerkness form me, and you definitely don't want to see it back at you... I can be scary as hell, if I want to.. Ask your sister! - he pointed at the older one. There was this situation, several months before Niq turned 10, that one of the guards was way too... Interested in her well being. He even once sneaked in her room while she was taking a bath... After this day, the only person responsible for the kids is their mother, who has all variaties of guns needed... Even Em knows hot to use teaser and is always carting a pepper spray. And the youngsters know how to scream loud enough to awake 12 levels tall building. This was the main reason, today was the 1st day she raised her voice at her father... Since this particular day.  - So... You all properly behave, or I will be the one in charge and I won't let your mother save you from my wrath anymore. They all silently nodded and he served them breakfast. Niq got boiled vegetables and cheese with juice. Em got fruit salad with 2 pieces of dark chocolate. Brandon got 200grams of pure raw dried meat that he ravished like a wild animal. The twice got pancakes with honey. Daniel got a bottle of mom's morning milk. The whole day the kids actually had fun. Their dad was around all day. Reading papers and plans and writing and drawing something. When he was done, he let the kids color some of the shapes on a light blue map. They were all given a color and pointed a place to fill. Since they weren't exactly hungry, they had fruit and vegetable, their choice, each for lunch, after that they were let for 2 hours on their own to run and scream in the back yard. Niq was responsible to prevent fights. It was sunny and warm, so it was ok, no risk of getting sick. The baby was inside, on a swingy bed, that J rocked while working. They even had a bath together. The big Jacuzzi works perfect as a kids pool... If needed. Later they all needed a nap from exhaustion. Dad tuckled all in, on his yoga mattress. And kept on readibg while they all slept. At some point the twins woke up whining and went to sleep on dad's lap. Brandon was snoring and Em was kicking him, gently...  taking turns with Niq to cuddle Daniel. After dinner... And no protest form Niq's side about the meat. They even had time for yogurt desert, even the Joker ate, although it wasn't almond or soya milk. They mixed it with fruits and pieces of dark chocolate.
23:30
 - Hey baby! - Joker suddenly said.  - How you know? - El let out an half asleep and definitely exhausted whisper.  - I can recognize the steps of everyone in this house.  - How are the kids?  - Niq had an attitude at breakfast, but I shut her... Gosh, woman, she is so much like you... And not in the good way. El laughed. - Daniel was chasing the snot again... Several times... Almost got it! So close... But so far! - the Joker pretend a sad face and fake cry. - The twins had a fight over a fork again... Gave them spoons each, were very trilled. - he explained adjusting his glasses and continued the Sudoku. - Brandon ate Niq's meat for dinner, I pretend not to see, Em got whatever was left of Daniel's pumpkin... Thing. Babs, this shit looks gross, I feel the need to puke when I see it... Changing smelly diapers is a blessing... This baby foods looked like someone already ate it and disliked it and then puked it and...  - OK, got it... Next! - she slapped his shoulder.  - I finally managed to make a decent butterfly waffel. The twins were thrilled! Stared for several minutes before attack.  - How's Niq.  - Nice, since the other alternative is 'hormonal behavior'. El laughed.  - They were wild, and had light lunch.... 7... Finally!  - What?  - It's 7 here.  - I have no idea, Love. I suck at Sudoku... Don't remark on that! He chuckled.  - They had a nap and then movie and dinner and another movie and a national geographic about hiking while the dessert.  - Desert?  - Yes! I made it! - he sassily drank of his coffee.  - OH my...  - What are you doing woman... Why you hit me... - now he understood why El was craving to be alone even from him sometimes. These kids, just some lone time, for like 5min, without the annoying questions, attitude.  - Your milk is over... That one made "moo" at some point in it's life...  - Jesus woman... - he scrubbed the spilled coffee of his pants, visibly annoyed. - I know, I used yours.  - Mine?  - Yes... You are like a fuc... You are like a cow. Daniel can't possibly use all.  -  What?  - I made the pancakes with it. After the nap we had a cup with cocoa each, again of yours.... The yogurt... I put it into my coffee...  - It's Mother's milk! - El protested.  - So... It tastes good... No animal was hurt while... Gathering it. - he cleared his throat.  - Brilliant! - she raised her hands in the air, and her blood pressure was raising an well.  - Babs, Daniel puked twice today, although we have him bottle less of what you had prepared.  - Ok... - she said uninterested in the conversation and sat next to him, putting her feet in his lap, and ruining his Sudoku.  - Where were you?  - Hanged with Oz and Ed. They are so cute... Fancy mention, fancy clothes, fancy tea cups, no kids...  - No annoying husbands.  - Actually plenty of this. They both laughed.  - Come on, love... Daddy missed the kitten.  - J... That's why we have 6 kids..  - That's why we had 2! The other 4 were your fault... The twins know the V-word.  - Good, because they actually have one...  - Shush.... No such stuff for my kids. They are cute little babies. Please... I already have one hormonal child... With her... Hormones. - he raised his hands in the air and waved sacrcastically. - A matter of time to start pissing me with the boyfriend subject... - he growled displeased.  - I didn't heard you complaining the other day when she climbed to you kissing.  - I officially allow you to kill me the the day I whined about it. El smiked. They went to bed.
00:07
The warmth is back! ... until one of the 6 kids is awaken in several minutes ...

right now i'm feeling the benefits of having slept last night. all day yesterday the withdrawal i get from not sleeping and absorbing my antipsychotics in the process was just the cherry on top of the pure terror running through my body, as it has for exactly a year, now.
a year ago i learned what all that was, with voldemort. i thought i was processing the information, but i ended up in the er a few months later with an injury related to what i can only call spiritual flop era urinary retention. i couldn't piss, because i was petrified to the spot. the trauma holding my body hostage.
i screamed at my mother at my grandmother's house, last night. my grandmother mocked me for needing tums, citing overeating as the need for a tum, but the reason i need tums so desperately at her house is because that atypical antipsychotic has -- remarkably -- only gi issues as a side effect. i'm paralyzed, often, by an ulcer screaming up through me. cameron diaz (whom i hate) called this stressed woman's syndrome "esophageal spasms" and so did i, for a while, after i watched the holiday twice in a row while completely immobilized on the living room floor with what might still be a kidney out for my life. i don't get the spasms from fucking mustard and pizza, bitch. if i eat a single bite of literally anything the entire show quiets down. i get the spasms when i don't eat. can't eat. won't eat.
but it's not really ever won't, anymore. it's can't, at her house, i really can't, or at my mother's, and fuck them for having to do everything over a meal. fuck meals.
i had had about 6 oz of cabernet, then. i had poured, earlier, another 6 or so oz, and dropped a small handful of blueberries. fuck me. she said what she said, and then to everyone who had heard her, tried to cover her ass by blaming the maybe 2-3oz of wine *she* had had, for this rude and over-the-top impression that in her dumbass mind counted as comedy. i never see her drink, but the fact that i usually have to go through most of a bottle of malbec to get through an evening in that house behaving rationally and fucking *timidly* has given her this idea that i'm a degenerate alcoholic. my dad liked heroin. i guess it scared her, but she's an idiot, and an asshole.
when she said what she said, i filled my cup of wine, which i hadn't fucking touched, to the brim and fled. downstairs, there was a baby. and i could forget so easily that this third cousin twice removed, toddling in that basement, had actually managed to avoid the generational trauma adjacent to him. so there was a baby downstairs, so i went upstairs. the bathroom. after everything that happened i have no regard for anyone getting harmed by my having screamed at them, but i'm terrified i did it to the baby. i did this thing that we do to each other, to this baby who never had to know about it.
that third cousin, the one my age with the baby. she and i were in that tub, in that upstairs bathroom. i know i was 6, because that's when it started, for me. i was 6, and so she was 4. i'm not gonna say for the whole internet what happened in that tub, but i hadn't thought about it for a long time, and when i remembered, i got in the tub and cried.
hot pink wide-leg corduroy pants with a belt buckle made from teeth and matching bucket hat with privacy fringe hanging off my neck, big curly blue wig on top made bigger by ribbon buns. i'm insane. i had been wearing cow print slides, but i shucked them off as soon as i laid eyes on that tub. i sat there, filling the tub, filling the air with my wails and i wondered, as one does, if my having shed so many tears would be visible in my makeup, in my eyes behind my big pink glasses.
what happened next was a blur. i wanted my mother to defend me. i needed her to care about what's happened to me in that house. people have these arbitrary markers for what's damaging but like every other time i've caused a scene, i screamed at my mother in my grandmother's house because there is no other way to inform them that they have hurt me. whatever possesses my body in these moments of blind, dissociative rage, whoever she is, this higher self, that needs to do this in order to tie up loose ends on cycles of lives of harm and growth as i end my generational line, whoever this beast is that needs me to live this life for her --
she twerked and swung her braids around in a circle the whole way home. to steve winwood.
she was happy. i had done a job for her. and i feel satisfied that i can do my job, for her, my only job i'll ever have.
i'm most likely going to the hospital because it was bad enough that everyone *except* my dad blew up my phone. he didn't even ask if i was ok. i literally don't care that i lost the inheritance that night -- it's one of the major reasons i had to do what i did, actually. but he didn't ask, the next day, if i was ok.
or maybe i'm going because i can see that just living like this, on the edge of my rope and completely frozen in space, still but losing years to the cardiac fear, allowing these people to so intensely affect me then plead ignorance about any trauma to begin with, when i was flagged for bpd three years before i could be formally diagnosed -- that's not the environment that trauma recovery happens in.
my therapist is making calls. i'm dreaming of four winds. fabric couches. i won't get so lucky. i'm sure i'll end up on dr polan's unit in white plains. i fucking hate that guy. and if otto kernberg wants an audience, they're gonna send me to rikers for what i'll do to him if they put me in a room with him again. but at least this time i'm lucid enough to maybe make some impact on these people, this faceless class of people who raised me when my parents outsourced their job to have me so thoroughly medicalized, and when my grandmother paid for it.
with their authority, my entire life was taken from me. i'm borderline developmentally delayed because of the shit that i've been processing for the last year -- having been a ward of the fucking state and not ever being told by the people who are raising me that this thing, this horrible thing about me, this way i'm uniquely awful and always will be, end of story, is a fucking trauma response to how i was raised. MAYBE YOU MISSED THE VERY OBVIOUS AUTISM, TOO, YOU FUCKING PATRIARCHAL, FASCIST MORONS.
but i'm going back. i'm going back because my behavior is erratic, according to boring people, when i react to the bitch who killed me mocking me for requiring a secondary medicine in order to account for what the medicine she used her authority to force-feed me has done to my poor, tired, young physical body for the past seventeen years.
i'm going back. i'm going home. i'm going to be in a site of trauma, but i think that thin blue mattress is gonna be the best sleep i've gotten in a long time.

I always like hearing about OCs, so could you do a playlist for Bladen or Oz (or maybe one you haven't talked about as much)?
A new challenger approaches after seven years! And for taking so long I’d like to make up for it by explaining my reasoning behind each song. They’ll be in no particular order and McFucking extensive in the lyric explanation I am so sorry (Like this shit is really fucking long and it’s best to just look at the titles and yeet)
1. Hey Look Ma, I Made It by Panic! At The DiscoThis song is honestly just… taken as fucking spitefully as possible. His mother abandoned him and here he fucking is? A loving partner and three beautiful, strong children who he will go to his grave defending and swearing they are all destined for greatness.
Are you ready for the sequel? (I take this as him talking about his boys)I’m gonna be the greatest (Bladen’s thirst for power)
And if you never know who you can trustThen trust me, you’ll be lonely, oh (Referring to those childhood years where everyone except his foster father was an enemy)
2. Boy in The Bubble by Alec Benjamin This song is for his foster dad. Bladen was technically a sheltered child with no real connections except for that man who greatly worried for him. It reminds me of him because Bladen never wanted fights but even knowing what the results could be
Punch my face, do it ‘cause I like the pain (Reminds him he’s alive)Every time you curse my nameI know you want the satisfaction, it’s not gonna happen (Bladen is nothing if not prideful. He knew what the kids wanted and he refused)Come the lightning and the thunderYou’re the one who’ll suffer, suffer (He always knew that the one that would regret it most are the people making life hell for him)
3. IMNOTYOURBOYFRIENDBABY by 3OH!3It’s half a joke song? He’s a horny son of a bitch I’ll be honest he’ll fuck almost anything that moves but miss him with that commitment bullshit. But there’s a verse that makes it less of a joke
Kill the lightsThese children learn from cigarette burns Fast cars, fast women and cheap drinksIt feels right  All these asphyxiated, self-medicatedTake the white pill, you’ll feel alright (He’s learned that experience is the best teacher, regardless of how harmful it is in the end)
4. Unheavenly Creatures by Coheed and CambriaI’m gonna keep it real with you, chief. This playlist? Half of it is about how fucking much he loves his partner. He lives and breathes for her and if she fucking told him to die for her he would.
We were young and had it all figured outShe was the quiet one and I had the mouthUntil she fell to me We escaped through the alley in the back Judge told me, “creature, don’t you dare go back!”But I couldn’t dodge the ringing in my headThe lonely, subtle voice, through the echoes as it said“Please don’t leave me here, my love”(Like I mentioned in the backstory, he had a plan and so did she. But then they really just forgot the plan, ran away, and decided all they needed was each other. He really still does feel guilty for taking her away from that life of luxury and, as he would say, dooming her into raising children [not that she ever minded? She loves them all so much])
There was something I forgot to tell her thenBetween the kiss and “knock 'em dead, kid”“There will be no other like you” (I don’t know what to tell you man he just fucking loves her and feels like he doesn’t tell her enough? As years go by he starts panicking about how he’ll outlive her. Every wrinkle on her face is a reminder that he’ll lose her)
5. As The World Falls Down by David BowieI fucking told you bro he just loves her. Side note: this cover? Fucking superb holy shit
As the pain sweeps through,Makes no sense for youEvery thrill is goneWasn’t too much fun at all,But I’ll be there for youAs the world falls down (He feels guilty about what she had to go through, being a vessel and all and now seeing her children carry that same risk because of his dumb choices and how he blindly sought out power. It’s not until years later that he realizes how much of a mistake it was and all he can promise her is being there for her through it all)
6. Saint Bernard by Lincoln Tell me where I came from, what I will always be:Just a spoiled little kid who went to Catholic school (He really is just a brat and while not catholic, he was part of a faith and that cult will forever be a part of him) When I am dead, I won’t join their ranksBecause they are both holy and free (This part is referring to his first cult because at one point he lost the faith he had in their deity, the deity that left the cult free in a sense due to them having something to live for)And I’m in Ohio, satanic and chained upAnd until the end, that’s how it’ll be (He’s the polar opposite of the cult, his chains are exactly that. The difference he bears from them and it’s a secret he’ll carry until he either dies or gets caught which could easily be the same)
7. Take Me Dancing by Will Joseph Cook Surprise! Another song about him loving her partner. This is an early days song, back when he was trying to win her over
And as I fall into the bottle bank [broken glass] You can make me into anythingAs long as I’m reflecting you (Bladen always saw the good in her. If him being broken by her meant he’d be reshaped into anything even remotely similar to her he wouldn’t have cared)
Don’t let this loveWell I could be the answer toAll of your prayersTake me dancing (Once he really started to fall for her, since that day one, all he ever wanted was for her to give him a spin)
8. Save My Soul by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Man this is one of the quintessential Bladen songs in my book. The rhythm, the words, and just the general aura of it
I consider myself lucky to have fallen in loveWith a girl, the city and the river of mud (He of course means Lilith and the place they’ve been hiding/living at)
Let me knowWhere I can go to save my soul (That deal with a devil eventually started to eat at him and he just wants redemption)I’ve heard Gabriel singin’ & playin’ his hornAnd lived to see the day both my babies were born (Rapture is always close behind him, or at least he feels like. His one consolation are his children and how they’ll carry out that legacy of his)
9. I’m Not a Saint by Billy Raffoul This one really fucks me up for him? This one is for when he’s entering those early thirties, seeing the real impact of all he’s done and just… reflecting to his best extent.
Had the taste of one too many lips hanging of my tongue, oh, oh (He’s had way too many partners, not that him or Lilith mind, but those lips brought some unforeseen responsibilities (more kids than he knows what to do with))  Sunday morning getting high, drinking here alone (Alone being what he’s now afraid of)Thinking up a brand new alibi for not coming home, oh, oh (He tends to disappear more than he should) And I’m sorry I lie so much (It’s all he knows how to do but he really is sorry)
Lord knows I don’t learn from mistakesAnd I’m not here unless I’m here by your sideI’m not a saint, but I could be if I tried (He starts to realize a lot near this age and all he wants to do is try. For her and for his children. They’re no longer some experiments in a cold search for power. They’re part of his life and he’s ready to dedicate himself to them but at this point it’s more than too late.)
10. Came Out Swinging by The Wonder Years This was one of the first songs I ever considered for him, tbh? It’s just such an optimistic song with the right amount of sad. This one is a mix of his early days and him nearing an older age
I’m running on empty The late nights and the long drives start to get to meI’m just so tired. (He’s been running around for a while. Oz is Lord knows where at the danger of being possessed at any moment, Mordei hates him and refuses to acknowledge him at this point, and his eldest has adopted their last name as their first name and is undead) I spent this year as a ghost and I’m not sure what I’m looking for. (This is in his youth, him just… searching)
I spent this year as a ghost and I’m not sure where home is anymore (Once again in his youth where lines started to blur)
My body feels rejected and I can’t say that I blame itMy heart keeps saying stay youngMy lower back seems to disagree (The contract was too keep him looking young, never aging so at later years it really takes a toll on him. He stops feeling like himself at some point and his body becomes more of an accessory)
And I spent the winter writing songs about getting betterAnd if I’m being honest, I’m getting there (This is a mid point in his life, this is after realizing how much he actually needs to try)

Hey guys, I figured I’d share some information with you if you didn’t get an email from me! At this point if you have made an Earthley purchase from me or downloaded a guide, I send you emails during Earthley events. I need to work on setting up an good email system since it’s starting to take me a while to send everything out. But here’s what I sent out (some information I took out because it’s not relevant on here).
I wanted to let you know that until the 24th the Back to Basics Bundle is here. This bundle consists of Feel Better Fast, All Purpose Salve, & Arnica Salve. The base bundle is 11.49, upsize options available. ONE bundle per household. The optional add-ons that are 20 per. Cent. off are Pain Potion, Infant Tummy Relief, Good Night Lotion, & No More Yeast Salve. There is also a free guide with tons of good information if you want to check it out!
I will say that Feel Better Fast was definitely used earlier this month when we had a fever. You see, it doesn’t necessarily lower it, because you need fevers to fight infections, but it does assist your immune system while keeping the fever in a safe range. If you need more help lowering a fever, I’ve found that Epsom salt baths help a ton. It’s also great for pain and is safe for babies as young as 6 months old and safe to use while breastfeeding or pregnant. If you want a natural replacement for Tylenol, this is what I would use. All products use as much organic ingredients as possible and this one is no exception. It contains Echinacea root, fennel seed, astragulus root, elder flower, cinnamon, palm-derived glycerin and filtered water. A word of caution if you are blood pressure, blood clotting, or blood thinning medication or have diabetes or an autoimmune issue, elderflower and cinnamon may cause an issue if you’re particularly sensitive to them. However, the risk is pretty small, but Earthley has the disclaimer as a precaution. Available in 1, 2 and 4 ounce glass bottles with dropper.
All Purpose Salve is honestly pretty awesome and it truly is all purpose. It can be used as a replacement for Neosporin, you can use it as lip balm or diaper rash cream (I highly recommend labelling them though if you intend to use them for diaper rash in particular lol), to help soothe burns, for dry skin, cut or scrapes, everything. It’s safe pregnancy, breastfeeding and even newborns! It’s even safe to eat, with ingredients like olive oil, castor oil, lavender buds, caldendula flowers, chamomile flowers and candelilla wax, though I wouldn’t really recommend doing so. Available in a convenient tube or in a 2 ounce jar.
Arnica Salve is a life saver in this house. My son is 3 and if you’re a parent, especially to a little boy, you know exactly what I mean. This kid is clumsy, and let’s face it, so am I. I’m always bumping in random corners and things. If you bruise easily, Arnica Salve is definitely something you want to have on hand in your house and in your first aid kit! You know how most bruises go from purple to that gross yellow-green color? I’ve noticed when I use Arnica Salve that the bruise is usually gone before it can change colors, easily a few days instead of a week or two. Did you know that Arnica isn’t just for bumps and bruises? You can also use it to help ease muscle tensions after a workout or just in general. It works particularly well when combined with the magnesium found in Good Night Lotion. This item is safe for all ages as well as when pregnant and breastfeeding. However, this is one of the few items Earthley offers that is not edible and it should never be used near open wounds or near the mouth, so keep out of reach of babies and only use topically. This simple, three ingredient salve (arnica flowers, extra virgin olive oil and candelilla wax) also comes in a convenient tube or 2 oz jar.
Pain Potion is a combination of meadowsweet, dandelion root, mullein leaf, peppermint leaf, turmeric root, cane alcohol and filtered water that helps with minor pain and helps to relax muscles thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties. This tincture is not safe for children under 6 to use and it’s recommend to use caution when using in pregnancy or while breastfeeding because peppermint can cause sensitive individuals to have uterine contractions or can lessen milk supply. This tincture comes in 1, 2 and 4 ounce glass bottles with dropper
Infant Tummy relief is an alternative to gripe water that’s free of artificial flavors, sweeteners and preservatives for all ages! It helps to provide relief from gas, bloating, hiccups and also helps to promote a sense of calmness. This little powerhouse of ginger root, fennel seed, and catnip in a mixture of palm-derived glycerin and filtered water is great for when you an uncomfortable gas bubble that just won’t move! It may also be helpful if you’re feeling nauseous because of the ginger root. Available in 1 and 2 ounce glass bottles with dropper.
Good Night Lotion is a combination of apricot oil, shea butter, mango butter, magnesium chloride flakes, candelilla wax, lavender essential oil and filtered water for the original formula. The sensitive formula does not contain lavender essential oil. The magnesium in this lotion is great for more than 300 things for the human body, including heart, lung and gut health as it helps promote smooth muscle function and bowel movements. It is also great for helping to ease muscle aches and to promote a healthy sleep cycle. The sensitive formula is safe for babies as young as 6 months and during pregnancy and is always safe for breastfeeding. Using too much may lead to temporary diarrhea so simply use less if this occurs. Available in a 4 and 8 ounce jar.
No More Yeast Salve is great to help fight yeast infections from excess candida and/or poor gut health such as female yeast infections, athlete’s foot, jock itch, cradle cap, yeast diaper rashes and more. It is for topical use only, so keep away from babies and small children. It is safe for babies as young as 6 months and while pregnant or breastfeeding. It contains cloves, cinnamon, calendula, neem oil, coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil and candelilla wax and comes in a 2 and 4 oz jar. If you are looking to fight candida internally I recommend the Candida Cleanse tincture instead, which is safe for ages 2 and up. Use caution if breastfeeding. Not recommended for use in pregnancy.
If you know anyone who could use these items, feel free to share this with them and remember to check out my linktree to follow me on my other social media!

David Pastranak
“Why aren’t you laughing? I am hilarious!”Requested by HockeyandTaylorswift
You imagined your first vacation together less… sweaty? Okay, maybe just as sweaty, but like, sexy-bedroom-activities sweaty and not please-get-me-out-of-this-blistering-heat sweaty.
You both knew you were taking on a lot when you planned an east-coast road trip, but honestly, you would take another 6 hours of driving in the cool, climate controlled truck you had rented rather than walking around the zoo in the dead of August. You were getting a little punchy, but you knew David was looking forward to this, so you sipped at your water bottle and let yourself be dragged through exhibit after exhibit.
How could you mind, really? He was grinning like a little kid and it was worth it, even if you needed two showers when all of this was through. A sigh of relief escaped your lips as he pulled open the door to the World of Reptiles exhibit and ushered you into the dimly lit entryway.
You walk up behind him and his nose is almost pressed up to the glass, “Look how big this is! I can’t believe it. It looks like a dinosaur!” Peeking around his broad shoulders you see the animal and look around searching for its identifying placard-  American Alligator: Alligator Mississippiensis. Staring into the exhibit you can see a zoo-keeper doing his best to lure the gator out of the water with his food, and when he succeeds you get a good look at the size of the creature and it is impressive.
“Yeah, that’s a really big alligator; he’s got to be around 12 feet,” David looks over at you.
“How do you know it’s an alligator, it could be a crocodile,” he questions you; he’s obviously missed the sign above his head in his rush to get through every exhibit in your one visit.
“It’s really very simple. One will see you later and the other will see you in a while,” you barely make it to the end of your sentence without bursting into giggles and leaning heavily against the wall to your left. For a moment, your boyfriend looks confused but then he rolls his eyes, groans, and starts tugging you to the next enclosure.Cyclura Lewisi, the blue iguana. The cute, little guy was sunning himself under his heat lamp when David looked over to you, smirking, “Do you know what an iguana’s favorite movie is?” You tilt your head and nod for him to continue, “The lizard of Oz.” It’s his turn to laugh at his own joke, but he’s louder than you were and families start to look at you a little strangely.
“Why aren’t you laughing? I am hilarious!” He’s still laughing like a madman and you really asked for this, opening the door with your alligator pun.
He’s got that dopey, ear-to-ear grin and it’s adorable with his chipped smile. Now you can’t seem to help it, between the heat and the warm exhaustion that comes with it, flowing lazily through your body. Your own smile starts to grow before your leaning against the iguana’s terrarium, choking on your laughter while struggling to keep control before you both draw too much attention to yourself.
“Okay, okay, let’s go outside and find somewhere to eat. I think we’re getting a little delusional,” David loops his arm over your shoulders and you shrug away, he’s just as damp as you are.
“Sorry baby, I’m sweating like a pig right now… you could even say I’m *bacon* in this heat.” You’re sure you can hear at least one person groan as you both exit the enclosed World of Reptiles, but it’s worth it for the smile that lights up David’s face before he bends down and kisses you, before promising ice-cream since you’re, as he so lovingly put it, “clearly experiencing heat stroke.”
