Hello! I was wondering if you're taking requests, specifically for Athena Grant? If so, please could you write something about:
Reader and Athena are together (engaged) and the reader gets injured (either accidently/someone intentionally hurt) and they've had to remove all the jewelry before surgery, so when the reader wakes up, she's panicking about how she's lost her engagement ring (half still under anesthesia and half boasting to the nurses) until Athena gets there and puts the ring back on her finger again? Like re-proposing in front of the team?
⚠️Trigger Warning⚠️ This one-shot includes the topic of a serious accident, blood, conversations about possible death and the plots are presented. If this triggers you too easily or you just can´t handle the subject, I urge you NOT to read this work. I am NOT embellishing this topic under any circumstance. Read at your own risk.

You leaned against the rolling doors of the fire station as the sun slowly sank behind the skyscrapers of Los Angeles. Daily life at the station was chaotic, as always - the hum of voices and the heavy clatter of equipment filled the air. The icy cold air left an uncomfortable tingling sensation on your skin, a coldness that you couldn't shake off despite the fleece jacket over your shoulders.
Since your engagement to Athena, you had become strangely calmer, your once impetuous nature had changed. But this uneasy silence that this evening brought with it made you nervous. Your finger unconsciously stroked the shiny ring on your hand - a symbol of love, the promise of a shared future that you had given each other.
"Y/n, are you okay?" Hen asked, putting a hand on your shoulder while she cast a worried look at you. "Are you unsure about... the engagement?"
"Oh my God, no Hen. I could never be unsure about Athena. It just feels so... unreal," you replied with a gentle smile as you looked at her while pushing yourself away from the wall. "It is a.. magical feeling and I'm so incredibly happy."
Hen smiled broadly at you and before she could answer you, a shrill alarm sounded, echoing through the walls of the building. The adrenaline immediately shot through your body, your muscles tensed, and the moment of calm was over. It was time for action.
"A serious accident on a construction site in the west of downtown! Several injured, unclear situation, possible danger of collapse!" the announcement echoed over the loudspeakers.
Hen and you exchanged a brief, wordless glance - the mixture of concern and determination in your eyes was unmistakable. You walked quickly together towards the ambulance while the rest of the team jumped into the fire trucks. The engines roared as you left the station in a moment when the air seemed to stand still before the chaos began.
The streets of Los Angeles were packed, but the car's sirens cut through the traffic like a knife. You felt the familiar thrill of adrenaline rising inside you. But today it felt different. Every sound seemed sharper, the movements around you faster - as if the world around you was vibrating with tension. You tried to focus your thoughts, but your eyes kept wandering to the shiny ring on your finger. You couldn't shake the wonderful thought that you would soon be a Grant.
When you finally arrived at the construction site, the extent of the disaster was immediately apparent. A gigantic construction site, filled with half-built buildings, cranes towering into the sky, and workers everywhere, panicking and trying to make their way out of the rubble. The scene was a nightmare: steel beams had collapsed, concrete slabs had been shattered, machinery was blocking access roads, and dust hung thick in the air, as if the entire construction site had been shaken by a major earthquake.
Hen and Chimney jumped out of the car and immediately ran to the injured, while you turned your gaze to the half-collapsed part of the construction site, where the cause of the chaos seemed to be. Sparks flew from a stationary smaller crane that was leaning dangerously to the side and threatened to fall onto the scaffolding below.
You immediately ran, your mind on autopilot. It was clear that this situation was life-threatening but this was your job and you would stop at nothing. The crane had to be stabilized before more people were injured. A team of construction workers tried desperately to secure the heavy equipment with steel cables, but it was obvious that their efforts would not be enough. Sweat ran down their foreheads as they frantically shouted orders to the rest of your team, but time was running out.
"Damn, if that thing falls, it'll kill even more people," you cursed inwardly as you ran and grabbed one of the heavy steel cables, trying to help the workers stabilize the machine before Bobby and the others found a solution.
But the situation quickly escalated. A worker, obviously inexperienced and panicked, began to frantically pull on one of the control levers, ignoring the dangerous weight of the wooden beams moving above him. But before Bobby, Eddie or anyone else could intervene, there was a loud crack that made your blood run cold. You looked up - a massive wooden beam finally came loose and fell towards you without stopping.
Everything happened in a split second. The beam crashed down with a deafening roar and hit you with full force. You felt a sharp, piercing pain as the wood hit your body, as if your entire ribcage was being crushed. Your breath was ripped from your lungs, and you could feel the burning pain flooding your body. The sound of bones breaking echoed in your ears, accompanied by the dull thud as your body hit the ground with full force.
You wanted to scream, but no sound came. You lay under the heavy weight, unable to move, and could feel your consciousness slowly fading. Your head spun, and the pounding of your own heartbeat became duller as the blood from the wound in the side of your torso dripped onto the ground at an alarming rate. Your vision blurred, and the sounds around you became quieter. You knew you were losing control.
The world around you began to blur, but the last thing you consciously perceived was a terrified scream from Hen.
She saw it happen as if time itself was slowing down. The massive beam fell as if in slow motion, and even though Hen knew there was nothing she could do, she felt an indescribable feeling of powerlessness. She had promised her best friend, Athena, that she would look after you during missions. "Y/n! No!" she screamed as she ran across the rubble. Her voice was rough and broken, the shock almost paralyzing her.
Chimney, who had also witnessed the accident, was already at her side, grabbing his emergency backpack with shaking fingers. The sight of you lying motionless under the beam made his heart race. You weren't just a colleague, you were family. The unit was a family, and when one of them fell, everyone felt it.
Hen knelt down next to your head and felt desperately for a pulse. The blood loss was frightening, her fingers immediately soaked by the warm, sticky blood that was constantly seeping from the wound. Hen's heart was racing. She had to keep a clear head, but it was difficult. Chimney worked frantically beside her, trying to put pressure on the wound, but it was clear that the injury was serious. Too serious.
Meanwhile, the others tried to keep the gathering crowd under control while securing the other wooden beams to avoid another accident.
"We're losing her!" Chimney shouted, his voice hot with panic as he performed the makeshift wound care. Hen felt her hands shaking as she reached for the equipment, but she forced herself to calm down. There could be no mistakes. Not now.
"She's strong, no one loses anyone here," Hen whispered, more to herself than to Chimney. The sight of your lifeless body made Hen dizzy. Your chest barely heaved and your face was pale and lifeless, as if the life was draining out of you.
The two worked feverishly. Their hands slid confidently over the injured flesh as they tried to stop the blood seeping from the gaping wounds. The world around them seemed to stand still and all that mattered now was the person in front of them - their colleague. Their friend. Their family.
"Chim, we have to get her out of here. If we don't stabilize her, we'll lose her!" Hen shouted, trying to keep the panic from her voice. Each breath you took was weak, as if the next one might be your last.
"Damn it, Hen, the girder is sitting right on her chest. Bobby, you have to lift the girder! She'll bleed to death otherwise!" Chimney answered hastily, as he secured the pressure bandage to the worst part of your injury. The massive wooden beam had hit you hard, and it was a miracle you were still alive. But for how much longer? Chimney's gaze was fixed on the growing pool of blood beneath his knees.
Bobby, Buck, and Eddy were no time in coming. Each of them knew that time was now their enemy. Buck and Eddie immediately began to position themselves at the respective ends of the girder, while Bobby took the lead and stood over you.
"Okay, everyone ready? On my command! One... two... THREE!" he shouted as everyone lifted at the same time to take the weight off you. The wood cracked under the pressure, and for a moment it looked like they wouldn't make it. But with one last, desperate tug, they lifted it just high enough for Chimney to pull you out.
You were almost unconscious, pale as death. Hen looked at her best friend's bloody, limp face and felt her heart sink. This wasn't just any mission. "Stay with us, y/n," she whispered as Chimney carefully lifted you onto a stretcher.
Bobby quickly put an oxygen mask on you while Chimney applied pressure to the wound with one hand and monitored your heart rate with the other. The situation was critical and the team knew that every second counted. Without hesitation, they pushed the stretcher into the ambulance while Buck closed the doors and ran to the fire truck.
"Hen, Chim, we're right behind you," Bobby called before the doors slammed shut and the ambulance sped off, sirens blaring.
The ambulance sped through the streets of Los Angeles, the sirens piercing the night like the howl of a wounded animal. The city lights blurred into a bright kaleidoscope as the two paramedics inside the car raced against time.
Hen drove the ambulance while Chimney worked feverishly to keep the blood flowing. The oxygen mask over your face was a thin thread holding you to this life. The heart rate on the monitor was faint, and every second that passed felt like an eternity.
"Come on, come on..." he muttered to himself as he applied another pressure bandage over the one already soaked in blood. His latex gloves were red with blood, and his eyes were extremely tense. "We're losing her, Hen. The pressure is off."
Hen pressed her lips together, fighting the fear that threatened to overwhelm her. "Not now. Not here. Not her. We're almost there, keep her alive!"
The ambulance arrived at the hospital minutes later with screeching tires, and the team jumped out, the stretcher with you in the middle. You were immediately surrounded by a team of emergency doctors who moved their bodies like machines, every grip precise, every action practiced.
"Severe chest trauma, internal bleeding! She's losing a lot of!" Hen shouted after the doctors as they quickly pushed you through the hospital doors. Hen and Chimney followed them, both with their eyes downcast and faces covered in sweat.
The rest of the team also watched as you were pushed down the hallway towards the operating rooms and then the moment came when they disappeared around the corner with you and the team was left alone in a state of confusion, concern, hope and fear. In that moment it felt like the air was being sucked out of the hallway they stood in.
ᕚ---ᕘ
Athena stormed through the hospital corridors, her heart pounding wildly in her chest. She could hear her own blood rushing in her ears, her thoughts swirling in a chaotic vortex of fear, worry and hopelessness. Bobby had called her shortly after arriving at the hospital, and his words echoed in her head as if they were caught on an endless loop: "It's serious. It's serious."
She reached the emergency room and immediately saw the familiar faces of her friends and colleagues. Bobby was the first to step forward to greet her, his face worried but calm. "Athena..." he began, but she didn't let him finish. "Where is she?" Athena whispered, her voice breaking as she looked around. Her eyes wandered frantically through the sterile, brightly lit hospital corridor until they finally settled on Hen. The paramedic stood with her arms crossed, her shoulders slumped forward, looking exhausted and full of grief.
She stepped forward and put a hand on Athena's shoulder, but she felt that words could not bring comfort here. The pain, the fear, the agonizing wait - all of this weighed heavily on Athena. "She's in the operating room. They're fighting... but it doesn't look good," she said carefully in a quiet voice. Her eyes were tired, the minutes of her colleague's blood loss and the constant tension for her life had left their mark on her too.
"Not good?" Athena shook her head in disbelief, as if she couldn't believe these words. She felt an uncontrollable tremor running through her body that she could barely suppress and the walls seemed to close in around her.
"What does that mean, Hen? Are you going to tell me that she might not make it?" Her voice had gotten louder, almost panicked. Bobby, who was standing next to them, held out his hand reassuringly, but Athena backed away. She needed answers, not pity.
"Athena, we don't know," Hen said carefully, her eyes full of compassion. "She has severe internal injuries and the bleeding was extremely critical. But she's in the best hospital, with the best doctors. They're doing everything they can."
But those words were only a small consolation for her. The worry about you weighed heavily on her chest, and she felt helpless. She wanted to be with you, wanted to hold your hand, to tell you that you should fight and not give up. But all she could do now was stand here and wait. Wait while fate decided the life of the woman she loved.
Athena nodded silently, although inside she wanted to scream. She had to pull herself together, not collapse. "At least tell me that she can feel it... that she knows that I'm here," she finally said, directing her words at her best friend.
"Athena, if anyone can do it, it's y/n. She's a fighter. And she'll know you're here, no matter what."
While the entire team waited, the team of surgeons and nurses fought for your survival. The sterile, cool air in the room was filled with frantic, precise movements. The lead surgeon wiped sweat from his brow as he made another deep cut to find the source of the bleeding
"We've stabilized her, but the blood loss is still concerning. Should we add another unit of blood?" one of the nurses asked as she readjusted the oxygen mask and checked the heart rate on the monitor. Each beat of your heart was weak, almost imperceptible.
"Yes, please. Several ribs are broken, internal organ damage. We need to decompress the left lung," he murmured, handling his instruments more tensely than usual. His hands moved in a routine manner.
One of the nurses, meanwhile, took care of the jewelry that remained on your body. The engagement ring on your finger shimmered in the cold operating room light, a tiny spark in the midst of the fight for life and death. With gentle movements, the nurse removed the ring from your blood-stained hand and carefully placed it in a bowl, along with a chain that had been hidden under your uniform, to later clean these items and hand them over to you as soon as you were able to.
ᕚ---ᕘ
The bright light of the infirmary blinded you as you slowly emerged from the deep darkness of the anesthetic sleep. At first everything was blurry - the shapes, the sounds, the feeling of your own body. You felt that something was wrong, but couldn't grasp what it was. Your head seemed to be wrapped in cotton wool, your thoughts swirled wildly, but one thing was immediately clear: something was missing.
Confusion spread through your foggy mind and your fingers twitched slightly. You instinctively reached for your hand, for the engagement ring that should be there. But it wasn't there. The cool, bare skin of your fingers touched nothing but the air. Panic shot through your body like lightning.
"Where... where is it?" you murmured quietly at first, still too dazed by the painkillers to speak properly. But the confusion quickly turned into naked fear. You blinked, trying to concentrate, but the feeling of emptiness, the loss of your ring, seemed to smother any clarity.
With a sudden, jerky impulse of movement that put the nurses on alert, you began to sit up in your hospital bed. "My ring! Where... where is it?" you gasped, your voice getting louder, your breathing getting faster. The tubes and wires monitoring you pulled taut as you tried to sit up further. Your body was still weak, but your panic gave you a supernatural strength.
One of the nurses rushed to your side, placing a reassuring hand on your shoulder. "Calm down, everything is fine. Please lie back down, you've just had a serious operation," she said gently.
But you barely heard her. Your thoughts were a wild storm, and the only reality that existed in your head was the horrible feeling that you had lost the engagement ring. Tears gathered in your eyes and your voice broke into panic. "No! My ring... I... I lost it! Where is it? Where is it?!" You desperately grabbed the nurse's hand as if she could give you the answer.
"It's fine, please, try to relax," said another nurse who had now joined you. "We'll take care of you."
But nothing could calm you down. Your chest rose and fell rapidly, the monitor began to beep faster while your heart beat in dangerous panic for your condition. Your eyes wandered around the room, searching for a familiar sign, something that could assure you that you had not lost the ring and everything it symbolized.
"No... no... please... I need it..." you whispered between gasping breaths, your voice full of desperation. The nurses exchanged a worried look, unsure how to calm you down.
Just then, the door opened and Athena entered, closely followed by Hen, Chimney, Bobby, Buck and Eddie. Each of them had spent the last few hours in endless worry, but when they saw you now - your eyes red and filled with tears, your body upright in a bed you weren't supposed to leave yet - a wave of compassion shot through them. The lump in Athena's throat grew when she saw how confused and helpless you looked.
"Hey, hey, everything's fine," Athena called immediately when she saw the panic in your eyes. She quickly went to the bed and knelt by the side, placing her hands firmly on yours. "I'm here, I'm here. You haven't lost anything."
But you shook your head violently, still unable to think clearly. "No... my ring! I lost it! Athena, I lost your proof of love…” The words came in jerky, desperate breaths as tears streamed down your cheeks. You looked at Athena with so much fear in your eyes that it broke her heart.
Athena took a deep breath, then gently squeezed your hand in hers. “Honey, calm down,” she said, her voice firm but loving. She stroked your hand gently. “You didn’t lose it. I have it.”
With those words, Athena reached into her pocket and pulled out the engagement ring—the ring she had put on you months ago when she had promised you to go through whatever life threw at you together. The ring sparkled in the soft light of the hospital room, a familiar, beautiful symbol of their love and future.
Your breathing slowed for a moment when you saw the ring. Your eyes widened, and the panic slowly faded as reality began to penetrate the veil of painkillers. "You... you have it?" you asked quietly, your voice shaking.
"Yes, darling. One of the nurses gave it back to me after she took it from you during surgery for safety reasons. I've been keeping it for you the whole time," Athena said, holding your hand tighter. "I would never let you lose it. You'll always have it. Just like you'll always have me."
Your chest was still heaving heavily, but your panic was noticeably subsiding. You looked at Athena, your eyes filling with tears again, but this time out of relief. "I thought... I thought it was gone."
"It's not gone. It was always here," Athena whispered, holding the ring gently between her fingers before slowly sliding it back onto your finger, right where it belonged.
There was a deep silence in the room. All eyes were on the couple - the team watched as Athena placed the ring back on your finger with as much care and love as if it were the first time. Chimney, Hen, Bobby, Buck and Eddie held their breath as if they were watching a sacred moment.
Athena looked deep into your eyes, her voice firm but tender as she said, "Will you marry me, here and now, a second time, y/n? Will you continue on this path with me, no matter how hard it may be sometimes?"
The words were a mixture of seriousness and comfort, a promise she had made before - and yet now, in this moment, it felt even stronger and more meaningful.
You, still slightly dazed, felt the world around you finally settle down. The fear of losing the ring had been like a huge wave that had washed over you - but now you were back on the shore. The ring was there, Athena was there. Everything was right again.
With tear-filled eyes and a weak but sincere smile, you nodded. "Yes... always yes."
Athena smiled warmly as a wave of relief and love washed through her. She leaned forward, kissed your forehead gently, and in that moment the whole room seemed to breathe a sigh of relief. The team, which had been in tense silence until then, could no longer contain the emotions.
"This is incredibly beautiful," Buck murmured with a moist gleam in his eyes as Hen poked him in the side.
"It's not often that you see someone propose the same thing twice," Chimney said quietly, his voice full of emotion. Eddie nodded silently and allowed a slight smile to appear while Bobby, the silent observer, took a deep breath. For him, this moment was a symbol of the fighting spirit that united them all.

Decoration Disaster
Buddie x reader
WC: 1800
Sorry not sorry I couldn't pick a gif.
Reader takes a bad fall but her boys are there to make sure she's okay.
@whumpril day 13 head injury
-------
The phone rang three times before a familiar voice sounded. “911, what's your emergency?”
You took a deep breath, preparing yourself to explain your predicament. “Hi, Maddie.”
“Y/N?” She asked. “What's going on? Are you okay?”
“Uh, yeah, I'm fine,” you started. “I mean… mostly.”
“Are you at home?” Maddie asked.
“Yep. So I was getting some decorations out of the attic because I didn't want to wait for the guys.” You shifted slightly as you explained and a pain shot through your arm. You sucked in a sharp breath. “Ah, shit. Ouch.”
“I'm dispatching the 118. They’ll be there soon,” she said. “What happened?”
“I couldn't see around the boxes and I was just going to set them by the ladder, but I misjudged and I fell through the ladder opening.”
She gasped. “Oh, my god.”
“It's not that bad. I just think I dislocated my shoulder.”
“Help will be there in about two minutes, okay? Are you sure it's just your shoulder? Are you bleeding? Did you hit your head?” She peppered you with questions.
“Uh, not bleeding, I don't think. At least nothing significant. And I'm not sure about my head. Honestly, everything kind of hurts but the shoulder is the worst.”
She kept asking questions and then moved on to some small talk while you waited. Eventually, you heard a key in the front door before it was pushed open.
“Thanks, Mads. They’re here.”
“Y/N! You heard Buck and Eddie both yell as they made their way through the house.
“In here!” You called from the bed.
Buck and Eddie were both beside you a moment later. “Oh, sweetheart,” Eddie winced as he took you in. “What are you doing in here? Maddie said you fell down the attic ladder.”
“I did. But I thought I was fine and I got up and came in here to look in the mirror but then my arm started really hurting, so I sat here.”
“You don't know if you hit your head?” Eddie asked.
“Um, well I wasn't sure…” you felt tears well in your eyes as you stared at your boys. Buck took your hand as Eddie wrapped a BP cuff around your arm. “But the longer I sit here the more everything hurts. And my head really hurts right here.” You pointed to the back or your head just behind your ear.
Hen moved behind you and gently ran her hand over the spot. “Yeah, she's got a good size bump.”
You hiccuped as you tried to keep from sobbing as the pain and panic tried to bubble over.
“Hey,” Buck squeezed your hand to pull your attention to him. “We're here, okay? You're gonna be okay.”
You tried to wipe your face with your good arm. “I-I'm scared,” you admitted quietly.
Buck squeezed your hand. “I know. But we got you, okay?”
You sniffled. “‘Kay.”
“BP and heart rate are a little high,” Eddie directed to Hen.
“I'm kind of dizzy, too. And, uh, my ribs hurt here,” you pointed to the side with the hurt shoulder.”
Eddie just nodded, taking a mental note. “What about your neck? Any pain when you turn your head?”
You tested the motion. “Not really. It feels stiff, like when you sleep wrong but that's it.”
“Okay. I'm going to help you move over to the stretcher and then we'll get you something for pain.” Eddie explained.
Moving was significantly more painful than it had been when you sat down here. You cried out as pain shot through your torso from standing. Both Eddie and Buck offered soft reassurances as they shifted you as carefully as possible.
They quickly got you situated on the stretcher and Hen placed an IV. She pushed pain meds while Eddie finished checking your vitals. Buck continued to hold your hand and offer comfort, reminding you that everything was going to be okay.
Once they'd loaded you into the ambulance, Hen and Eddie moved around you in practiced synchronicity. Eddie placed leads for a heart monitor while Hen clipped the pulse ox to your finger and started another BP reading.
Lastly, Eddie flashed a light into your eyes causing you to wince. You saw the worried look that flashed in his eyes before he locked it down with a mask of professionalism. “Pupils are uneven, right is sluggish.”
“What does that mean?” You asked.
“It's probably just a concussion but the hospital will want to do a CT scan,” Eddie explained.
You squeezed Buck’s hand hard, trying to stay calm. Suddenly, you were overwhelmingly nauseous. “Um, I think I'm gonna be sick.”
Hen managed to place a barf bag in front of your face just in time. You threw up another two times and were surprised how much energy it had taken.
You let your head fall back against the stretcher. “I'm so tired.”
Eddie shined the light in your eyes once more. He managed to keep his face neutral which worried you more. “I need you to try and stay awake for me, okay?”
You whined. “I'm so, so tired though.”
Buck ran his free hand over your head. “We're almost there. Just try your best, okay?”
“Mmkay,” you mumbled. You tried to keep your eyes locked on them but before long you couldn't keep your eyes open any longer.
–---
Your whole body felt heavy. You heard a lot of beeping, some seemed close by and others further away. You groaned trying to shift but only managing to move your fingers.
“Whoa. Y/N?” Buck asked.
Someone squeezed your fingers and then ran a hand over the top of your head. “Are you awake, cariña?”
You groaned again, trying desperately to open your eyes. You squeezed the fingers in your hand lightly once more.
“Come on, baby,” Buck begged. “You can do it. Just open those eyes for us.”
They both continued to offer words of encouragement and soft touches. Eventually, you managed to crack your eyes open just a smidge. You winced against the brightness and then slowly your vision started to clear.
“There you are,” Eddie smiled.
Buck leaned down and kissed your forehead. “I'm going to go grab the nurse. I'll be right back.”
“What happened?” Your throat felt dry.
“What's the last thing you remember?” Eddie asked, offering you a straw from a small cup of water. “Small sips.”
After a little water, your throat felt slightly better. “Uh, I was getting the decorations out of the attic. I climbed up there then I don't know.”
Buck came back with the nurse. She took a set of vitals while she asked you questions. “Do you have any pain?”
“Uh huh. Everywhere.”
She nodded. “Okay, how bad on a scale of one to ten?”
You shifted slightly trying to make yourself more comfortable but winced. “Maybe a four or five?”
“Okay. I already paged the doctor,” she explained. “He should be here soon. Once he does his exam, I'll make sure he puts in orders for more pain meds.”
“Thanks.”
She headed toward the door. “I'll be back in a minute when he gets here.”
Once she pulled the door closed, you looked back to Eddie waiting for him to finally answer your question.
He took your hand and squeezed it as Buck took the seat on your other side. “You were in the attic getting decorations out. You were carrying boxes so you couldn't see and misjudged where the ladder hole was and you fell.”
You winced, glad you couldn't remember that. “But you guys were at work. Oh, my god. Did I get knocked out? Did you have to come home and find me? I'm so sorry.”
“No.” Buck said as he placed his hand on your thigh. “You called 911. Maddie got your call and sent us.”
You scowled. “I don't remember any of that.”
“I'm not surprised.” Eddie pulled your attention back to him. “You hit your head. You lost consciousness in the ambulance. There was a subdural hematoma. They had to do surgery to relieve the pressure.”
You glanced over to Buck and the look on his face was almost enough to break you. “You scared the shit out of us, baby. You've been unconscious for thirty-six hours.”
There was a knock at the door before it swung open to reveal the doctor and the nurse. He took his time asking you questions and performing a full neuro check.
“Everything looks good,” the doctor explained. “I will get an order put in for PCA so that way you have a button to self-administer pain medication as you need. Just get some rest, okay?”
“When will I get to go home?”
The doctor chuckled. “That disappointed in our hospitality?”
“This bed isn't very comfortable,” you explained.
“Sorry to break it to you, but you'll be here for a few days at least,” he explained. “Right now we are still monitoring your intracranial pressure to make sure the bleeding has stopped. You can't even wander the halls quite yet.”
“Thank you,” Eddie said, offering his hand to shake.
They left again with the nurse promising to be right back with your pain meds.
“I can't believe you just asked when you can go home.” Buck tried to hold back his laughter. “You've been awake for ten minutes after having brain surgery and your trying for a jailbreak.”
You pouted. “This bed is not comfortable and it's too small. I don't think I can even fit one of you with me to cuddle.”
Eddie ran his fingers across your cheek. “I don't think that'd be a great idea right now anyway. Considering your dislocated shoulder, broken ribs, and your sprained ankle.”
“This sucks,” you whined.
“We’re just glad you're going to be okay,” said Eddie.
Buck took your hand. “We might not be able to cuddle, but we will be right here until you do get to go home.”
“But you have to go to work.”
“No, we don't,” Buck explained. “Bobby gave us furlough until you're home. He insisted, actually. He doesn't think our focus would be where it needs to be right now and he's not wrong.”
The nurse came back and quickly set up your meds and handed you a cord with a button. “You push that whenever your pain gets too much, okay?”
You nodded slowly. “Thank you.” You pushed the button before setting the cord by your leg.
“It's also probably going to make you a bit drowsy,” she said.
“Sure is,” you slurred, your eyelids already feeling heavy.
“Get some rest, amor.”
“We will be here when you wake up.”
“Love you,” you mumbled as you drifted to sleep.
The last thing you heard was both of them. “We love you, too.”

Take it All Off
Evan “Buck” Buckley x plus size!fem!reader
You show Buck your new outfit and he’s more than happy to show you how much he loves it.
cw: MDNI (18+) smut (p in v) unprotected sex (wrap it before you tap it) body worship, body insecurity
Thanks @the-witty-pen-name for giving me this idea!
You check yourself out in the mirror, turning this way and that, admiring what you look like in the little number that you bought. It somehow looks even better than it did in the dressing room. The top is definitely more low cut and revealing than you would usually go for. It’s a pretty green color and laces up in the front. It shows off more than you usually would, but you have to admit that you love the way you look. Especially paired with the jeans you also just bought.
They hug your body in just the right spots and now you can’t wait for Buck to get home, knowing that he’ll love your new look. He loves you if whatever you want to wear but you know that he especially loves when you wear something tight, the way the fabric hugs your curves. It never fails to make him want to take you right then and there.
You hear the front door open and you tighten the laces to give yourself more cleavage then try your best to put on a flirty face as you see Buck enter the room in the reflection of the mirror. His eyes widen as he gets a good look at you and you continue to fake flirty faces at him.
He marches over and grabs hold of your arm, turning you around to face him. His eyes rake over your entire body, lust filling them as he does so. He doesn’t know what the occasion is, but he’s not going to question it. He thinks you look fucking hot.
He was already hard beyond belief from the photo you sent of the outfit while he was at work, but now he can barely hold it in any longer seeing you in person. He’s got to have you and he’s got to have you right now. He’s going to worship every inch of your body, to show you just how much he loves it. Especially because he knows that you need reassurance sometimes.
“Fuck,” is all he’s able to say as his eyes travel back up to your cleavage. “I mean-fuck-” He’s at a loss for words and your cheeks heat at what you assume is a compliment.
“You like it?” You ask and his eyes travel back up to yours, giving you a look as if to ask if you’re serious.
“Love it,” he replies. “Let me show you how much.” There’s no way you’re going to say no to that. He sits at the end of the bed and helps you straddle his waist, his hands resting on your waist, his favorite place to hold onto. Your arms warm around his neck as he pulls you in for a kiss.
He’s warning you up like always, being gentle before getting rough like he knows you like. You’re the one who always takes it there but he loves giving you the control. He just wants his girl to be happy and he doesn’t care what he has to do to make it happen.
“I’m going to fucking worship you,” he whispers against your lips. “Gonna show you just how much I love you. All of you. Because as much as I love that top, honey, it has to come off.”
Your cheeks heat at his words and he pulls you in for another kiss, his arms wrapping around your waist tightly as his tongue flicks into your mouth. It plays with yours and you can’t help but moan at the feeling, needing him now more than ever.
He continues to kiss you as if his life depends on it as he unlaces the top, going as slowly as possible, wanting to savor your kisses as he does so. Once he’s got it all undone, he pulls back as he pushes it off of your shoulders, the thing falling down your arms and clattering to the floor.
Buck takes a moment to take in your now bare chest. He’s always so taken aback by how absolutely beautiful you are, almost like he’s looking at you for the first time. He always feels like the luckiest man in the world and he can’t believe that out of all the men on this earth, you chose him. And he’ll never take that for granted.
He leans you back just a touch as his hands rest against your bare back. He leans down and pressed feather light kisses to your shoulder, peppering it with them before making a line of them across your chest to the other shoulder. In between, he whispers compliments into your skin, wanting you to know exactly what it is about you that he loves so much.
“Your skin is so soft,” he says as his lips find their way to your neck, tilting your head to the side so he has more access. “And you smell so good.” He takes a deep breath through his nose to get a whiff. “I love when you spray your perfume on my clothes.”
“I’ll do it more often,” you reply as he buries his face into your neck.
“Please do.” He presses another kiss to your neck and another and another before he goes in for a hard suck, making you gasp before melting into him. He knows how much you love when he leaves his mark on you.
He continues to lick and suck on your neck as your hands rest on his shoulder blades. And when he bites down, you let out a loud moan as your fingers curl, your nails digging into his back. He’s holding back a smug smile as he hears how good he’s making you feel.
Your back arches into his as he bites down again and again, making you moan over and over until you can’t take it anymore, orgasming as he gives you one more bite before pulling away.
As Buck picks you up and carries you over to the bed, you know that this is far from over. And you’re happy to let him do anything he wants to you. For once, he’s in charge and you’re looking forward to lying down and taking it.
His hands go to unbutton your jeans and he pulls them down your legs with a little struggle but he eventually gets them off, followed by your panties which both end up in a pile on the floor. He takes a moment to take in your naked body before taking off his own clothes, throwing them to the side where yours have been discarded.
Before you get a chance to look at him, he places himself on top of you and takes your hands in his before kissing your lips. This one is more gentle than the others but it still makes your head spin, especially when he smiles into it because you make him that happy. You really can’t believe you found the perfect man.
Just when you’re getting into it, he pulls away and goes back to kissing your body again, whispering more compliments into your skin, making it heat.
“I love your stretch marks,” he says as he lets his fingers dance along the grooves of the ones that line your hips. He tells you this all the time but feels the need to every time he thinks about it because he just wants to assure you that he loves you just the way you are. “I know you don’t, but I love them. They not only give you character, but they make you you.”
You can feel yourself tearing up and it makes you feel silly considering what you’re about to do but you can’t help it. Buck always knows exactly what you need to hear. He wipes away your tears then pressed a kiss to every single stretch mark he can find and you can’t help but feel yourself tear up again, knowing for sure that this is the most you’ve ever felt loved in your life.
When he comes back up, he peppers your face with kisses, letting you know that you can cry if you need to, wiping the tears away as you fall.
“I just love you,” you tell him which makes him smile before he leans in for yet another kiss.
“I love you too,” he replies and when he pulls back to look you in the eyes again, he knows that you’re ready. He goes to reach for a condom but you’re quick to stop him and he hopes that he hasn’t done something to upset you.
“I don’t want to use one. I want to feel you. I want it to feel more intimate.” He smiles again as he leaves the condom on the bedside table. Neither of you have ever done this before but you have to admit that it feels freeing.
You both watch as he gets inside you-just the tip so you’re not overwhelmed-and he slowly starts to thrust. The whole thing feels so foreign but you both have to admit that feels so good.
Buck’s pace picks up just a bit more and the fact that you already look like you’re close encourages him to go even faster, even harder. You’re already coming undone, feeling like you could come apart any second. And Buck’s encouraging words are definitely helping.
“You look so pretty, angel. Sound so pretty. Make some more sounds for me?” His hands grab hold of your hips, nails digging into your skin as he goes even harder, pounding into you again and again, his sweet words contradicting his movements.
You can feel him, all of him and you’re sure that he’s never been this rough with you before but you definitely don’t hate it. You love that he doesn’t feel like he has to treat you like you’re fragile. Just because you’ve felt insecure in the bedroom before doesn’t mean that you don’t like it rough from time to time.
“That’s it, just like that,” Buck encourages as he watches you moan again and again. You buck your hips against his as your hands move up to his shoulders. He catches you off guard when his hands slide underneath you, maneuvering you so he can get even farther inside, and you whine, tears pricking your eyes again as you can practically feel him in your stomach. “Look at you. Taking all of me so well. Such a good girl for me.”
You know this is going to be the shortest you’ve ever lasted, but you can feel yourself getting progressively more tired as his thrusts get more intense. Your orgasm is approaching as your eyes start to get heavy.
He’s still going as you reach your peak, knowing that you don’t have any more in your, feeling your body getting lip. So as you’re coming down, getting progressively more tired as Buck pulls out, you don’t even have the energy to move when he starts to clean you up. You just lie there as he cleans himself up.
And when he comes back from disposing of the towel, he helps you get into the bed where he pulls you to him, bare skin against bare skin. He kisses you again and again as his fingers dance lazily along your back before you both eventually fall asleep in each other’s arms, thinking that you’re the luckiest people in the world to have each other.

Hey, can you write a story about Evan Buckley and Reader announcing that she’s pregnant to the 118 at like a family gathering :)

🍄 Pairing: Evan Buckley x Reader
🍄 Genre: Fluff
🍄 Summary: At a 118 family gathering, Buck's overprotective nature reveals a little more than the two of you had planned.
🍄 Word Count: 1618
🍄 Abbreviations: N/A
🍄 Warnings: Pregnancy, implied pregnancy complications
🍄 Note: I really liked this request Anon! I hope this is what you were looking for. I thought about this scenario and I instantly imagined Buck accidentally announcing the pregnancy rather than planned. If you would rather a planned version, just pop in another request. A similar request came from @quinnstan247. Enjoy :)

You could feel the eyes following you closely as you slipped into the kitchen to refill your glass of orange cordial. Your overprotective, puppy-dog boyfriend remained outside in the garden of the Nash household along with the rest of the team as they stood around Bobby and the BBQ grill. You knew that Buck was searching for any reason he could to follow you inside, but you met his gaze through the windows and offered him a reassuring smile that seemed to subdue him for the minute.
Since the second you found out, Buck had been glued to your side. It had been three weeks since you took that test, since your doctor had confirmed it and in that time you had, had to convince him every single day that he could leave you and go to work. Every day he fought you, wanting the both of you to stay home so you could rest and he could wait on your every want and need, but you couldn’t do that. You were only thirteen weeks along and there was hardly any reason to be confined to the bed just yet. You knew that he was only concerned about the safety of you and the peach you currently carried in your womb. It was endearing and one of the sweetest things you’d ever seen, you hadn’t thought that Buck could get any sweeter, but here you were one act away from having a mouth full of cavities.
What hadn’t helped was that Buck had been responding to a number of pregnancy calls in the past few weeks a few resulting in sadder endings than anyone wanted. They had definitely struck a chord with Buck and had only made him hover all the more.
Adding the water to your cordial, you took a sip of the orange, a light buzz filling your taste-buds. You had become obsessed with anything orange flavoured since your pregnancy diagnosis. Whether it was orange skittles (which Buck had kindly sat and sorted out for you), or orange flavoured chocolate, or even the orange flavoured cupcakes you had found at the grocery store and ate within an hour of buying, anything orange and you were all for it.
Walking back into the garden, your entire body seemed to clench a little as you stepped back into the gaze of the sun. As much as you were enjoying this down time with the 118, it was so hot. The heatwave had only hit LA in the past few days but already it was in full swing and you were feeling every beam of it.
“Y/n,” you turned over to where Athena was sat with Hen and her daughter May. The three of them were stood around the mini bar that Athena had installed, in direct sunlight. Already hot, you fought down the urge to grimace as you moved to stand by them, the sun glaring on your skin. “We were just telling May about Buck and that kiddie ride at the mall. She doesn’t believe us.” Hen informed and a grin split across your lips, taking your mind off of the sweltering heat.
“Oh my, God. I have a photo, hang on,” You pulled your phone out of your shoulder bag and set your drink on the bar, thumb flicking through the many photos in your gallery in search of the one from the Saturday before. “He thought it was funny and I tried to tell him he wouldn’t fit but he insisted,” You giggled and turned your phone for May to see. “I honestly thought I’d have to call nine-one-one.”
Displayed across your screen was the photo that still had you giggling a week later. There sat Buck, who had squeezed his way into the small metal bus which was obviously aimed for children 7 and under. But Buck had twisted his body at all kinds of angles and had somehow managed to worm his way into the ride. His head was poked out of the door hole, his legs curled up against his chest, unable to stretch out in the tiny space that his body was occupying.
What Athena and the others didn’t know was that Buck wouldn’t have gotten into the ride if it wasn’t for you. That morning your hormones had been playing you like a fiddle and every little thing had upset you, the bin bag had broken when you were trying to change it out for a new one, somehow a red sock had slipped in with your whites and now everything you owned was slightly toned pink and they had shown that advert with the puppy sat in a box, in the rain, on the side of the street with people walking past ignoring it. It seemed, that morning, that everything was stacked against you. Buck had offered to come with you to the mall so you could pick up your clothing order from a store, you had ordered certain items that they didn’t have in stock and they had delivered into the store the day before. You were buzzing to see the new pair of pumps you had ordered. You knew that in a few months if not weeks, the shoes would probably be pressing against the sides of your feet and ankles because of the pregnancy swelling, but that hadn’t stopped you from ordering them in your size. However, like everything else that morning, even that didn’t go as planned. The shoes had been delivered in the wrong colour and in a size smaller than you wanted, making them impossible to wear. Buck had seen how disheartened you had been when you left the store, trying not to cry in frustration. He had wanted to do something to cheer you up and in a joking manner he had made a bet with you that he could fit inside the kiddie bus ride.
It had definitely succeeded in cheering you up, if not from how silly he looked, his large muscular frame curled up inside the ride, from when he got stuck and couldn’t get himself out straight away. You had done what you could to help him out, but you were giggling so hard your entire body went weak. When he had finally gotten out, the two of you had continued to giggle all the way home and your mood had been lifted for the rest of the day.
“Oh, my God,” May giggled. “That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. Please send me that!” she begged.
“Of course,” you agreed with a laugh of your own. “I could never gate keep on a photo like this.”
“What made him get in there?”
“It’s Buck, does he need a reason?” Hen scoffed. As the ladies continued to giggle, the heat seemed to make it’s presence known as it glared down onto you. The side of your temples was beginning to throb and your skin was starting to get slick and sticky, sweat oozing from your pores. You raised a hand to swipe at your brow, glancing around the garden for the closest seat, your legs aching.
As you moved towards one of the sun loungers, your boyfriend’s eyes caught onto your movements, already on high alert.
“Y/n? What’s wrong?” he asked, abandoning his drink at the grill and rushing towards you, one arm slipping around your waist to help guide you to the seat.
“Buck, I’m-”
“Dammit, it’s too hot out here for you. We should’ve cancelled,” he began muttering to himself. “Are you dizzy? Do you need a drink of water? What about something to eat? Is your blood sugar low? What if you’re dehydrated?” The only thing making you dizzy was the hurricane of questions Buck was sending your way, not even leaving a chance for you to answer them. One of his hands instinctively came to rest on the front of your stomach.
“Babe? Baby?” You tried to pull Buck out of his panicked rant, his eyes not once meeting yours as he kept scanning you for any visible injuries. Not that there were any, but the paranoia was getting the best of him and the heat probably wasn’t helping.
“We should get you in the shade,” he decided. “Shit, you should’ve stayed inside. You’re carrying precious cargo now, baby. You and peach can’t take this heat. We shouldn’t have come. This is all my fault-”
“Buck!” You pressed your hands to the sides of his face, directing his eyes to yours so you could try and ground him. “Buck, baby, I’m fine. We’re fine. I’m just a little hot and tired that’s all. It’s normal.” He still seemed a little uncertain, and his eyes held a lifetime of worry for you and his unborn child. “We’re okay. I promise.” You offered him a reassuring smile, your thumb coming to brush against his bottom lip rhythmically, giving him something to focus on. His eyelids pressed shut as he breathed slowly for a second.
“Are you sure? ‘Cause we can go home-”
“We’re fine. I just need to sit for a minute that’s all.” You peeked over his shoulder. “While I’m sitting, we should probably talk to the people behind you, they seem a little shocked. You kind of let the cat out of the bag.” Buck twisted his head to look around at the team behind him, everyone stood, jaws dropped and eyes wide. Eddie was the most comical of the bunch, his glass halfway raised to his mouth ready to take a sip but frozen in time with the news that Buck had unintentionally shared.
“H-Hey, guys,” He chuckled awkwardly with a sheepish grin. “I guess we have some news to share.”

You and Me
Summary; You struggle to let Evan help you while you're recovering from an injury. Pairing; Evan "Buck" Buckley x Female!Reader WordCount; 511 A/N; Hey lovelies, requests are open! Credit to cafekitsune for the banner and the divider!

You climbed up onto the chair, reaching out as you leaned up attempting to reach the jar on the top shelf, fingertips brushing, so close- "What are you doing?" Concentration broke, and your good leg stumbled as you fell backward into Evan's waiting arms. "I wanted a cookie."
"Well didn't you call me, babe?" Evan melts at your expression. He knows you're defeated, fed up with your current situation
He felt sorry for you. Evan settled you back down on the couch softly. Elevating your injured leg, Evan retrieved the jar from the top shelf.
"I wish I didn't have to rely on you for everything." You voiced as you turned to look at him. Evan dramatically placed a hand over his heart as he gasped.
"Babe, you offend me!" His overreaction made you laugh as he moved closer, swinging his arm over your shoulder. Evan pressed a sloppy kiss to your cheek, only making you laugh harder.
"You know what I mean. I'm used to being up and active." Leaning into Evan's touch, you laid your head against his chest. Evan rests his chin on top of your head.
"Yeah, but you need to rest up right now. The more you put weight on it, the longer it's going to take to heal. So right now, let me look after you." Evan pressed another kiss to the top of your head. "Besides, we get to have more time like this."
"I know you're right." You mumbled into your chest.
"Say that again,"
Raising your head, Evan stared down at you, a smug impression on his face. You rolled your eyes, Evan leaned down and kissed you in response.
"So what do you say we load up Netflix? We order in and I'll grab some snacks. We spend the rest of the day relaxing and you rest that leg of yours." In response, you leaned up giving Evan another kiss. Startled, his eyes widened but he melted within milliseconds.
"We can turn this into Netflix and chill if you want to. All you gotta do is say the words." Your eyes brightened as your lips etched into a smile.
"You're such a dork." Evan appreciated it whenever you smiled at him genuinely, The way your eyes twinkled.
"What I'm down with the kids." Your smile turned into laughter as you leaned into him. He pulled you closer to him, dragging your good leg over his lap. Relieved to see you happy again.
"Alright, I'm getting distracted by your pretty face. So I want you to get comfortable on this couch, while I get everything sorted. I don't want you climbing on any more chairs." Evan carefully helped you settle on the couch lying across it. He'd do anything to look after you. Even if you were a little stubborn sometimes. At the end of the day, you and him were a team.

"yeah, i see us in black and white/crystal clear on a starlit night"
song- black and white by niall horan
pairing- evan 'buck' bucky x edumdo 'eddie' diaz
warning(s)- none
word count- 2,214
summary- buck and eddie go on a date to see niall horan live at the forum
cross-posted on ao3
It was one of the rare times Buck and Eddie weren’t on a shift together—ninety-eight percent of the time, the duo/couple were on the same shift with their teammates. Eddie was with the 118 while Buck was spending his day off running errands before picking Chris up from school. Halfway through the shift, everyone was relaxing at the station waiting for a call.
“So, how are you and Buck,” Hen asked Eddie.
“We’re good,” Eddie replied. “Can I ask you a question?”
“Sure?” Hen questioned. “What’s going on?”
“How did you know you wanted to marry Karen?” Eddie asked which made Hen’s eyes widen.
“Wait, are you?” Hen leaned closer to Eddie and lightly grabbed his arm in excitement.
Nodding his head in confirmation, Hen wrapped her arms around Eddie hugging him.
“So, do you have the ring? Did you ask Maddie yet?” Hen went back to her seat.
“Yes and no,” Eddie answered both of her questions. “Maddie and I are both off tomorrow so I already asked her if I could come over to her and Chimney’s house.”
“What about Bobby and Athena?” Hen raised her eyebrow.
“I’m going to their house after shift’s over,” Eddie replied.
“Good, I’m happy for the two of you,” Hen hugged Eddie again.
Thanking her, the bell rang in the station forcing them to get off the couch and into their gear.
After a dozen minor calls, Eddie changed out of his uniform and into his regular civilian clothes before heading out of the station. Turning on his phone, Eddie’s smile grew bigger as he saw the flood of texts from his partner updating him about his day and pictures of him and Chris together. Putting his phone away, he pulled out of the parking spot and made his way to Bobby and Athena’s house.
On the way to their house, a flood of nerves started to fill him. A bunch of what-if questions filled his mind. There was no way they were going to say no to him. If they did, Eddie was still going to propose anyway.
“Eddie,” Athena greeted the man with a hug as she opened the door.
“Hi Athena,” he hugged back. “Bobby’s here?”
“Yes, he’s just freshening up,” the sergeant said as they walked into the house.
“Great,” Eddie smiled, hiding the nerves.
Athena made him a cup of tea and they sat at the dining table waiting for Bobby.
“So, you needed to talk to Athena and me about something,” Bobby said. “What is it?”
Cleaning his throat, Eddie pulled the box out of his jacket pocket and placed it on the dining table. Athena looked at the box and back at Eddie asking him if she could open it. Nodding his head, Athena grabbed the small box and opened it. Seeing the gold band lying on the cushion, Athena gasped as Bobby looked over to see what his wife was gasping about.
“You two are the only people that Buck sees as his parents,” Eddie started. “I was wondering if I could get your permission.”
“Eddie, you didn’t have to ask,” Bobby chuckled.
“I know but you two are some of the most important in his life,” Eddie explained.
“Well, you have both of our permissions,” Athena answered for her and Bobby.
“So, do you know when you want to do it?” Bobby asked.
“Not sure yet since I still have to ask Maddie tomorrow,” Eddie replied. “But Chris had some crazy ideas like skydiving.”
“Well, when you do, tell us,” Athena got up from her seat and hugged him.
Nodding his head, the three talked for a few more minutes before Eddie had to leave.
-
After dropping Chris off at school, Eddie made his way to Maddie and Chimney’s house. The same nerves that Eddie got when he talked to Athena and Bobby were elevated this time. I mean she did raise Buck for all of his life until she left.
“Eddie,” Maddie greeted him as she opened the door. “Come in please.”
“Where’s Chimney and Jee?” Eddie asked as he didn’t see them.
“Having a Daddy and Daughter day running errands,” Maddie explained. “So, what did you want to talk about?”
“I’m proposing to Buck,” Eddie blurted out. “I was wondering if-”
“Yes!” Maddie interrupted him and hugged him. “Eddie! This is exciting!”
“So do I have your permission?” Eddie quizzed.
“Yes even though you didn’t need to ask for that,” Maddie chuckled.
“Funny because Bobby and Athena said the same thing,” Eddie chuckled.
“I had a feeling also,” Maddie admitted.
“Really?” Eddie crooked his head.
“Yeah because you sounded pretty serious over the phone and you two have been together for a few years now,” Maddie explained. “It was about time. You two deserve each other even after the things you’ve been through.”
“Thank you,” Eddie thanked her.
“No need to thank me Eddie,” Maddie smiled and hugged her future brother-in-law.
“Come on, let’s get brunch to celebrate,” Maddie grabbed her car keys. “My treat.”
Nodding his head and following her, they got into Maddie’s car and headed to a nearby spot.
After getting brunch with Maddie, Eddie ran a couple of errands before picking up Chris. As Chris did his homework, Eddie started to prepare the ingredients for dinner. While preparing dinner, Eddie thought of possible proposal ideas. He also looked at their shared calendar to see when it was possible to propose when they were not on shift. Looking at the event on the twenty-eighth, the idea immediately popped into Eddie’s head.
It’s a known fact that Buck is a Directioner and has followed all of the guys' solo careers after the hiatus. Other than Louis being Buck’s favorite member, Buck’s second favorite was Niall. Buck fell in love with the storytelling in all of Niall’s songs and albums. Once Niall released his third album and announced the tour, Buck waited in the cue at work being the man behind, and managed to get tickets for him and Eddie to have as a date night. Almost a year later, the two were finally seeing him at the Forum. Looking up the set list, he knew which song he would propose Buck to.
Creating a group chat with everyone minus Buck, Eddie explained all the details of his proposal. With everyone agreeing and helping out, Eddie now had one final step to do. The proposal.
-
“Eds, come on!” Buck called. “We’re going to be late!”
“Coming!” Eddie replied.
Triple-checking that he had the ring in his bag, Eddie adjusted his outfit and walked out of their room. Saying goodbye to Chris and Carla, the two got into the Uber they ordered and headed to the Forum.
As they got to the venue, they took some pictures together in front of it before getting into the long line. They did feel a little out of place since most of the demographic were teenage girls and women in their twenties and they were two men in their thirties. There were other guys in line but they were mostly there for their sisters or girlfriends/wives.
Once the gates opened and got through security, the two headed straight to the merch table. Buck had a whole list on his phone of merchandise he wanted to get and replacements if they ran out the item he wanted. Buck soon had a tote bag filled with a hat, a t-shirt with Niall’s face on it, a sweatshirt, and a hoodie. Eddie on the other hand just got a t-shirt Buck didn’t get and a friendship bracelet.
“Excited?” Eddie chuckled as he saw Buck’s excitement as they got food.
“I’ve been waiting for a year,” Buck smiled. “What about you?”
“Yeah, I’m excited,” Eddie nodded his head.
Yes, he was excited for the concert as a Niall fan himself but he was also nervous because of the proposal. It’s the first time he truly is proposing to someone because with Shannon they went straight to the courthouse once they found out about the pregnancy with Chris.
With the show (no pun intended) time coming close, Buck and Eddie headed to their seats. Buck somehow managed to get seats near the stage by the walkway. Soon Del Water Gap came on stage and the two jammed out to his music. Throughout the opener, Eddie’s phone was flooded with texts from their friends and family wishing him good luck in the group chat. He sent back a clip of Buck jamming out to Holden’s music before putting away his phone. He double-checked if the ring was in his bag as Buck left to get them drinks during intermission. Seeing that it was still in the bag, Eddie checked the time on his phone to see that Niall was about to come on in ten minutes and Buck was still not back yet.
“Hey, I’m back.” Eddie felt a wave of relief as he saw his partner with drinks in his hands. “What’s got you worried?”
“I thought you were going to miss the start,” Eddie chuckled.
“I would never,” Buck handed Eddie the drink he got him.
Soon The Change by Fleetwood Mac faded out as the lights in the arena faded. The cheers from the crowd got louder as the graphics started to project and the riff from Nice To Meet Ya played throughout the arena. Buck soon got transferred back to himself as a nineteen-year-old when he found out about One Direction and started to join their fanbase. He starts to become starstruck when he realizes how close he and Eddie are to the Irishman.
Eddie, on the other hand, started to get more nervous as each song finished. Looking at the set list he saved on his phone, he got the ring box out of his bag and into the pocket of his jacket before Night Changes. He danced and sang with Buck as Niall’s voice sang Night Changes.
“Okay, Edmundo you got this,” Eddie hyped himself up in his head. “He’s saying his little speech and when the second chorus hits, you get down on one knee.”
Soon the instrumental for Black and White started to play which hyped everyone up. Buck looked over at Eddie and gave him a smile knowing it was their song. That song perfectly reflected how their relationship started as they started to develop feelings for each other. Four years later they finally got to hear that song live and not through the speakers in their house.
“And I see us in black and white,” Niall sang the second chorus which was Eddie’s cue.
Tapping Buck, who was recording, on the shoulder, Eddie got down on one knee and opened the ring box as Buck turned. Everyone around them started to freak out as they witnessed the proposal in front of them. They both had tears falling down their faces, overwhelmed with emotions. Seeing Buck nodding his head, Eddie got up from the floor and kissed his partner before sliding the ring on his finger. Kissing each other again, the two danced to the rest of the song.
The rest of the night went off with a bang. While setting up for the acoustic set, Niall mentioned seeing Eddie propose to Buck and congratulating them. Let’s just say Buck lost his mind when his favorite singer mentioned them. Other than that, the two enjoyed themselves and jammed out to music.
When the concert ended, Buck and Eddie were high off from the adrenaline from the concert and proposal. As they left the venue, people congratulated them on the engagement before leaving to get to their cars. Getting into the Uber, Buck looked down at the gold band that lay on his left ring finger.
“Were you planning this the whole year?” Buck looked at the mustached man.
“I guess you can say that,” Eddie replied. “So, Black and White as our first dance song?”
“You bet your ass,” Buck leaned in and kissed Eddie.
Pulling up to the house, they thanked the driver before walking up to the front door. Seeing the living room being dimly lit, they knew Carla was still up. Opening the front door, they were soon met with their friends and family surprising them. Maddie soon ran up to her brother and wrapped him in a hug with tears in her eyes. The siblings shared an emotional moment before the rest of their friends and family shared the excitement.
“I’m happy for you Buckaroo,” Athena hugged her eldest son. “It’s finally you two to tie the knot.”
“Thanks Athena,” Buck smiled.
“I think everyone can agree that we are all proud of you,” Bobby said as he held his glass of apple cider. “To Buck and Eddie!”
“To Buck and Eddie!” Everyone held up their drinks.
Clinking their glasses, they all talked for a little bit before everyone headed home since it was getting late.
Tucking Chris into bed and getting ready for bed, Eddie and Buck shared a private and intimate moment just collecting and reflecting on the event.
“Goodnight future Mr. Buckley-Diaz,” Eddie said as he wrapped his arm around Buck’s waist.
“Goodnight future Mr. Buckley-Diaz,” Buck replied as his heart swelled.
Kissing each other, the two drifted off to sleep dreaming about their wedding.

By its very definition
(1247 words) Summary:
By its very definition, Glee is about opening yourself up to joy, and that is exactly what Eddie Diaz is trying to do. He’s been punishing himself for almost six months for pushing Chris into his parents’ waiting arms. But he’s shaved off his mustached disguise, he’s had a dance around his living room, and now he’s sitting next to his - unusually quiet - best friend, watching a cringey teen musical dramady and… Enjoying it?
Read on A03 or continue below
After closing the door Eddie looked down at the beer in his hand and then at Buck - making himself at home on Eddie’s couch. Eddie frowned slightly then shrugged. If Buck wanted to talk - about whatever it was that had sent him here - then he would. Eddie didn’t bother walking around the couch, simply stepping up and over onto the cushions and sitting next to Buck as Old Time Rock ‘n’ Roll continued playing from every speaker in his house.
He unscrewed his beer and took a sip, before looking over at Buck.
Next to him Buck was still completely silent, his eyes staring straight forward but unseeing, and Eddie frowned again, taking another sip and waiting for Buck to break the comfortable silence between them.
Old Time Rock ‘n’ Roll ended, crossfading into Burning Love by Elvis, and, after a few seconds of the song, Buck finally spoke.
“Have you ever seen Glee?” Buck asked, and Eddie blinked in confusion.
“Bits and pieces,” He said, shrugging, “My sisters watched it… why?”
Buck was already reaching for the remote on the coffee table, turning on his TV and scrolling through Eddie’s Disney Plus account. Eddie turned off his music and watched with bemused amusement as Buck typed in Glee and pressed on the first result, settling into the couch and hugging a pillow to his chest, sipping on his beer.
Eddie wondered if he should go and put pants on, but decided to grab a blanket instead, laying it over his legs as he settled in comfortably too.
Again, if Buck needed to talk about whatever it was that had sent him to Eddie’s he would. If he simply wanted to watch a cringey teen musical dramady in silence sipping on beers? Then that’s what they’d do.
What Eddie hadn’t been expecting was to enjoy the show.
They watched through the whole of the first episode in comfortable silence, each curled up in their own corners of the couch. It was weird to be watching something with Buck without him talking over it with random questions, or with his phone in hand googling those questions instead, but, honestly, as the episode went on Eddie found himself so engrossed with it that even the unusual silence and stillness from Buck wasn’t able to pull him away.
Sure, it was cringey, and very much of it’s time, but there was a quality to it that made it… sort of charming. Not only that but, it was the sort of thing he’d never have allowed himself to watch as a teen. His sisters had watched it, but he’d always seen it as something a guy like him shouldn’t watch. It had singing, and dancing, and as such it was ‘for girls’. So he’d never joined his sisters.
And, well, he was sort of busy as it was airing, what with becoming a father, and getting married, and joining the army.
But he was allowing himself, starting today, to do things that brought him joy and…
Apparently Glee was bringing him joy.
He huffed out laughs at the jokes and hummed along to the songs, and, as the episode ended with a rousing rendition of Don’t Stop Belivin’ , he’d even shed a tear.
There was something about Mr. Schue deciding to leave something he loved to focus on providing for his wife and unborn child that had pulled at Eddie’s already weak heartstrings.
And then he’d decided to stay, to… open himself up to joy instead of doing what was expected of him.
He’d given a soft chuckle when that plaque reading by its very definition, glee is about opening yourself up to joy had appeared on screen a few minutes into the episode, but… somehow he hadn’t expected the episode to lean so heavily on the sentiment.
It was scarily on the nose.
If he was someone like Buck, or Chim, he’d think it a sign from the universe and…
What if it was?
Why was he denying that it could be? Hell, a priest had literally been sent to him in a juice bar that morning to tell him to open himself up to joy, and now his best friend had randomly turned up - after he’d shaved off his mustached disguise and danced half naked in his living room - and put on a show about singing and dancing and opening yourself up to joy .
Maybe the universe really was screaming at him…
“ From the top! ” Mr. Schue said on the screen, and the credits started to roll. Eddie wiped the lone tear from his cheek and swallowed against the rise of feelings that had suddenly started to swirl in his chest.
He was just like Mr. Schue, except… he hadn’t chosen Glee. He’d chosen the security of the Army when Shannon had told him she was pregnant. He’d married her and gone off to fight in a war instead of…
He wasn’t even sure what he would have done instead, if he was honest about it. He hadn’t had a Glee to fall back on. He and Shannon had barely been 19 when Chris had been born, Eddie hadn’t had the chance to find his glee…
Okay, so maybe he’d been denying himself joy for a lot longer than the five months Chris had been gone…
He blinked at the realization and emptied his beer, before placing it with a thud onto the coffee table and picking up the remote. He paused the second episode as it began to autoplay, and looked at Buck.
“What happened?” He asked Buck, who turned away from the TV screen and towards Eddie. His eyes were dulled, his mouth downturned, and he still clutched the pillow to his chest, but he no longer looked quite as downtrodden as he had when Eddie had opened the door to him. He blinked at the question, looking between the TV and Eddie.
“He chose the glee club,” Buck answered and Eddie snorted out a laugh.
“Not in the show , Buck,” He said, shaking his head, “But good to know you were paying attention and not just staring into space.”
Eddie turned his body completely towards Buck and gave him a look.
“Why are you here, and why are we watching Glee ?”
Buck sighed, then buried his face in the pillow. He mumbled something into the fabric. All Eddie could make out were the words Josh and post-glee world , Tommy and last . And possibly something about Abby, which surely wasn't right.
“Huh?” He asked, brows knitting together, and Buck’s face emerged once again. His eyes were misty.
“Tommy broke up with me,” He said simply, and definitely not the long rambling sentence he’d just mumbled.
But Eddie offered him a look of sympathy anyway, leaning over and giving his knee a squeeze before letting go.
“I’m sorry, do you want to talk about it?” Eddie asked. Buck shook his head, his jaw ticking as he grinded his teeth together. He grabbed the remote and unpaused the TV, settling back into the couch.
Eddie let him, he’d talk when he needed to talk, and honestly? Eddie wanted to keep watching the show.
And that was something he was letting himself do, now, want things and follow through on that want. Even if they were small things like re-enacting that scene from Risky Business, or letting himself watch a show about a show choir.
Maybe next time he went to the juice bar, he'd actually get himself a juice.

Plot: You and Lou search through a corn maze for evidence, successfully getting lost. What makes the situation worse, is the sky is getting darker, and you swear you're not alone.
Pairing: Lou Ransone & Partner/Best Friend!Reader
Request: 'Getting lost in a corn maze' + "Are you scared?" "No" "Then why are you holding onto me?" & "If you get scared you can hold my hand." "How about I hit you instead?"
Requested By: @will-grammer
Warnings: References to death, murder, etc.
Words: ~1.1k
Standing with your hands on your hips, you let out a soft sigh and shook your head. "How the hell are we supposed to find anything in there?"
You looked out at the tall corn maze ahead of you. The whole area had been shut down due to a body being found, the third in a week, all supposedly from the same suspect.
Lou stood beside you with a similar stance, "We're stuck. We need something on this guy."
"And you think we're gonna find it in there?" You side-eyed him and he shrugged.
"We got nothing else." As he stepped towards the entrance to the maze he waved his hand, "Come on."
You let out a sigh as you followed him into the maze, immediately focusing as you looked carefully down every path and into the corn, hoping you'd find anything. A weapon, blood, evidence. Something that could point you to the guy behind these murders.
As the two of you slowly made your way though the maze, you collected a few fibers, fully aware they were probably from various civilians who had come through the maze in previous days. You were grasping at straws, desperate to end this case.
Looking up, you noted the darkening sky, checking your phone you sighed. "Why didn't we come earlier in the day? We wont be able to see anything soon."
"Good question."He chuckled.
Hearing a shuffling sound nearby your head shot towards the sound. You stared in between the corn stalks, seeing nothing.
"God this place is creepy." You muttered and you heard Lou chuckle.
"You sure we're the only ones here?" You asked after a few minutes, still hearing noises throughout the corn maze.
"The whole site's closed off." He replied casually as he turned on his flashlight, the sky having become dark enough it was growing harder to see.
Your heart was beating heavily as adrenaline was rushing through you. Something was telling you there was something else in the corn maze. But you tried to convince yourself it was just your overactive imagination.
"Shouldn't we be out by now?" You asked, growing antsy.
You had been wandering through the maze for over an hour, having given up on searching for evidence when it grew too dark.
"We're close." He said simply, but you could since reservation in his tone.
You paused, staring at the back of his head, seeing him trying to peer over the corn stalks. He was tall enough to see over them, but the dark surrounding you made it hard to locate the exit.
"Are we lost?" You asked after hearing him let out a soft sigh.
"No."
"Are you sure."
He stopped as he turned to look back at you. "...No"
You groaned as you leaned back your head.
Walking down a coupe more paths, Lou spotted a hay bale. Standing up on it he peered around.
"There's a scarecrow nearby, we must be in the middle." Shining his light around he nodded his head, "The exit is that way, I can see the farm."
"At least your height is useful for something." You mumbled and he grinned as he climbed back down.
As you stalked your way trough the maze, you continued to hear various noises within the corn stalks. And you couldn't help the feeling as though you were being watched.
Without realizing you had gotten close to Lou, your hand was now holding onto his jacket as your eyes darted around in paranoia.
Lou glanced down at you and grinned. He cleared his throat softly.
"Are you scared??"
You glanced over at him before replied, your voice much less confident than you intended. "No."
"Then why are you holding onto me?" There was amusement obvious in his tone.
You looked over at him before realizing you were in fact holding onto him.
You quickly let go before rolling your eyes, wanting to avoid the teasing. "Shut up."
He chuckled as he leaned down a bit and obvious teasing grin on his face you could see even in the darkness.
"If you get scared you can hold my hand."
"How about I hit you instead?" You replied quickly, making him laugh.
As you began down another path, you both heard a thudding noise around the corner, causing you both to stop in your tracks. You saw Lou's hand rest on the hilt of his gun as precaution as you both slowly turned the corner.
You weren't sure if you were relieved or not to find the only thing being the tall looming scarecrow.
You made an audible noise in discomfort as you bot approached it. "Why does it have to be so creepy?"
"To scare the kids." He mumbled and you snorted a bit.
"It would definitely work on me."
As Lou climbed up on another hay bale to find the way out, you stared wearily at he Scarecrow. You weren't sure what had made the thudding noise before, but it had to the scarecrow somehow. Maybe the pole it was on was not sturdy. Grabbing it and shaking it softly, you realized it was firmly in place.
You hummed under your breath in uncertainty as Lou walked back over to you. "I figured out the path to get out, come on."
After another ten minutes and a few bickering comments you finally made it out of the maze.
You let out a groan of relief. "I'm never forgiving you for that by the way." You peered over at him and he chuckled.
"Understandable. This was definitely not one of my best ideas."
Looking back at the corn maze, you could make out the scarecrow in the moonlight and you felt your body stiffen.
"Wasn't...the scarecrow facing the other way?"
Lou looked back at the scarecrow and thought for a few moments. "Yeah, it was facing the entrance."
"How did it move? I checked the pole it's on after we heard that noise that thing was firmly in place."
You and Lou shared a look of uncertainty before peering back at the scarecrow. A mutual shiver ran up both your spines before you shook your head.
"If you want to find anymore evidence in that maze, you better send someone else."
Lou nodded his head, "Let's go."
You followed his lead, more than ready to leave the creepy farm and the scarecrow behind. Sparing another look back at the scarecrow, you felt your blood run cold.
You weren't sure if it was now your eyes and brain playing tricks on you, but you swore you saw it look at you.
xx End xx

In the glow of roses
Athena Grant x Reader

Summary: Athena accidentally forgets her anniversary with you due to a particularly stressful case. When she comes home and realizes that you prepared a romantic dinner, she feels guilty. But instead of being disappointed, you surprise her with how understanding and loving you are. Together you find a way to save the evening and enjoy a romantic moment that proves that your relationship is not about perfection, but about love and understanding.
Authors note: I hope you can still enjoy the fluff, even if it is not angst that you are used to from me. Enjoy ♥
ᕚ---ᕘ
Athena Grant let out a heavy sigh as she finally pulled into the driveway of her house, the hum of the engine echoing in the still night. Night had long since fallen, and the fatigue she felt, digging deep into her muscles, was not only physical, but mental as well. The case she had been working on had taken her hours and drained all her energy. An armed robbery, panicked witnesses, and a chase that seemed never-ending - it was one of those days when her work consumed her completely. The responsibility of protecting lives and bringing them home safely weighed heavily on her.
The adrenaline that had been pumping through her veins was still palpable, but the moment she opened the front door and took the first step into the house, she felt a different kind of unease as a queasy feeling overcame her and her stomach clenched.
The room was bathed in a soft, warm light. Candles were all over the living room, their flickering light reflecting off the shiny surfaces of the furniture. Her gaze wandered further, and as she looked at the lovingly set dining table, a thought suddenly flashed through her mind.
The anniversary. She had completely forgotten about it.
Her heart stopped for a moment, and a wave of guilt hit her with full force. You had gone through the trouble of preparing a romantic dinner. A bouquet of red roses in the center, fine dishes, a bottle of red wine sparkling in the candlelight, and the scent of freshly cooked food floating in the air - a spicy aroma that she usually found soothing, but now felt like a sharp stab in her heart. It was obvious how much effort you had made, and Athena felt as if she had lost the air to breathe.
Her throat tightened, and she had to blink to hold back the rising anger at herself. Athena stopped dead in her tracks when she saw you coming out of the kitchen. You both looked at each other, and there was unmistakable remorse in Athena's eyes. She expected a look of disappointment or even sadness, but all she saw was gentleness and warmth.
You smiled gently, if a little tired, and your lips formed a quiet "Hey."
She opened her mouth to say something, but her words got stuck in her throat. She could see how much love and devotion went into every detail. "I... I forgot," she finally stammered, her voice rough and brittle as she turned her head slightly to the side. She took a step closer, now able to smell the smell of the food and the roses more clearly. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to forget it."
You walked slowly towards her, your eyes soft and understanding, although there was a hint of pain in them. But instead of blaming her, you lifted her chin with two fingers so that your eyes met again. "It's okay," you whispered, your voice radiating warmth as you gently stroked Athena's cheek with your thumb. "I know you've had a hard day. I know how much you sacrifice. And I know you love me - and that's what matters."
Athena felt her heart clench, but not out of pain, but out of relief. The gesture, as small as it was, felt like a gentle embrace of her heart. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to swallow the guilt and pain. "I should have remembered," she murmured, placing her hand on yours, which was still resting on her cheek. "This day is special for you, and instead..."
You shook your head slightly and pulled Athena closer to you, put your arms around her and held her tight as if you never wanted to let her go again. "'thena, it's okay. This day is important to me but I also know how important your work is to you."
She could feel your gentle heartbeat against her own chest, a rhythm that had a calming and stabilizing effect on her. She closed her eyes and leaned your head on her shoulder, feeling the warmth and familiarity that she always valued so much. Your arms around her felt like a safe haven, a place where she could just be herself - without the pressure and responsibility that so often burdened her.
"How can you be so understanding?" she whispered in your ear as she placed her hands on your waist and pulled you immediately closer. The warmth of your bodies, so close together, began to drive the tension of the day from Athena's limbs.
"Because I know you," you answered softly, running your fingers through her hair, letting her feel that every touch was full of affection. "And I know that we don't have to be perfect. It's not about making a day perfect. It's about being there for each other, even on the most chaotic days."
Athena pulled back for a moment and looked deep into your eyes. Her own shone with gratitude and love. "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me," she said quietly, her voice sounding gentle and honest. "I will try to show you that more often."
She lowered her head and gently touched your forehead with her lips while her fingers gently glided over your arms, gentle touches that seemed like a quiet promise. "I wish I had realized earlier how perfect you are in my eyes," she said more quietly, almost whispering. "My thoughts should have been with you instead of letting everything else take over."
You smiled gently, your eyes sparkling in the candlelight. "It's not too late. The evening is still young," you said and took her hand to lead her to the dining table. "Then let's enjoy the evening now. It's not too late to create a beautiful moment."
Athena sat down, her fingers still tightly entwined with yours. The wine tasted velvety on her tongue, and the food filled her stomach with love. As you ate together, the tension slowly released from Athena's shoulders. Every smile, every gentle look and every touch made her relax more and more. The warmth that flooded through her was like a reminder that the essence of your relationship was not defined by perfect moments, but by the connection you shared.
After dinner was over, you stood up, a wide grin playing on your lips. "Come with me," you said and led Athena into the bathroom, your hands tightly clasped together. The bathroom was already enveloped in a romantic, dreamlike atmosphere. Here, too, there were candles everywhere, the flames reflected on the walls while rose petals floated on the surface of the water. The scent of roses was in the air and mixed with the aroma of essential oils that permeated the water.
Athena looked around and her eyes widened. She could hardly believe how much effort you had put into making this evening special. "You prepared all this for me?" she asked, her voice almost toneless with emotion. Her gaze slid over the arrangement, the loving details. She felt her cheeks getting hot, not only from the steam, but also from the charged moment.
You nodded and she pulled you gently towards her. Your lips found each other in a kiss that was gentle and intense at the same time. You closed your eyes, let yourself fall into this moment and felt a hot wave of desire rising within you. The touch of her lips, the tenderness with which she kissed your lips, made your pulse race.
Slowly, as if she wanted to enjoy every second, she let her lips wander lower - from your jaw down to your neck. You tilted your head back, enjoying the tingling that spread across your skin. You couldn't help but let out a soft, pleasurable sigh. "You're driving me crazy," she whispered into your skin, her voice trembling slightly with desire as her hands snuggled around your hips and slowly moved upwards.
"That's the plan," you replied with a seductive smile before she placed her lips on your neck again and the kisses became deeper and more demanding. You could feel the heat building between you, the way your heart beat faster, the way her fingers ran along your back and clung to the fabric of your shirt. For a moment you were just two people, united in your love and the moment.
You pulled away from her and stepped behind her, gently placing your hands on her shoulders and began to let your fingertips glide in light circles over Athena's neck. "I wanted you to relax," you whispered, letting your lips now brush along her neck. The kisses were gentle, but they raised goosebumps, as if every single spark was dancing between you. "And I wanted us to have a moment all to ourselves."
Athena closed her eyes, enjoying the gentle touch, the feeling of your closeness, the warmth that emanated from your bodies. "You always know exactly what I need," she murmured as she leaned back further. Your hands wandered over her arms until they gently grasped her hips.
"Because I know you," you answered, and Athena felt the love that lay in your words. They were true. "And because I love you."
Slowly, with a deep intimacy that made her heart swell, you took off your clothes and slipped into the warm, fragrant water together. The rose petals lay gently on your skin as you snuggled up to each other. Her hands slid gently over your middle while yours gently stroked her thighs and she closed her eyes, lost in the feeling of the tender touches, the closeness and the warmth that enveloped her.
"You are my rock," she whispered as she held you closer to her, her arms wrapped around you protectively. "Always," you whispered back, leaning your head to the side to kiss her lips again. "You are everything to me."
Your bodies, floating lightly in the water, melted into a deep embrace that expressed more than just tenderness - it was a sign of the love, trust and desire you both felt for each other. Athena felt safe, secure and desired. The heat that flowed through her was not just that of the warm water, but also the intense connection to you that she felt stronger with every kiss, every touch.
In that moment, enveloped in candlelight and roses, Athena knew that perfection was never the goal in your relationship. It was the unwavering, all-encompassing love that surprised her again and again, fulfilled her and carried her through every hard day.

I’m so glad you liked what I sent in again for the Three Wishes part 2 (genie yandere)! I really like that I was able to help you cause your writing talent is way too good. (And as a fellow artist…I get what it’s like to be in a roadblock and the frustration that comes with it).
I actually really love reading more unusual or less well known fairy tales and mythology, so I could always send some more your way so you don’t have to do any research. (You can be lazy! Yay!) Though if you’re up for that, I think it’d be easier if I just messaged you privately instead of going back and forth with anon asks (if that’s comfortable with you of course).
I also like Reader’s “suffering” too in yandere stories. I always like stereotypical HEA, but my version of “suffering” is more so that the yandere wins (and Reader doesn’t die either or is heavily abused to the point where death is the better option. I hate where there is no heavy “dere” in yanderes, cause if it’s just “yan,” it’s just an abusive piece of shit).
That’s absolutely understandably about not wanting to focus on the Prince, I was just throwing it out there in case you wanted to make him a new important OC. And changing the Prince into a different profession also is perfectly fine. (Heck in the original story, pretty much the main reason the Prince was out and about was because he was scholarly-like. Having a deep and wide fascination with all the world had to offer. The dude really just wanted to go on an adventure and learn more).
And I’m glad 6.e. made your heart explode with delight! (I also have a guilty pleasure of thinking about all the fucked up things yanderes can do to their lover/others).

Do whatever you feel comfortable ask if you wanna stay anon or dms~ If you are thinking about spam this blog doesn't get many to to be fair. But yeah it is probably more comfortable in dms.
But just a heads up I personally don't know when I would actually start posting here again just yet. While I am slowly getting back to writing rn but I am taking the chance to write some longer stuff or more personal (deranged really) without pressuring myself to post like one or two fics every week. (also started another hobby of journalling soo) If you don't mind just exchanging ideas and stories then yeah~ ^^
Another reason why I dont want to deal with tags, hashtags and proofreading
But yeahhh hmm I deff placed a few readers in a "better death than this" while also adding to it that the reader in my head still has a fear of death but no real bad abuse???? I THINK- lmao Ehh I guess it is more so I love the idea of yanderes having control over where the reader is I guess, so controlling the area where they are, or maybe the controlling the mind or movements, or arranged marriages :p All my wips that i am working on currently is just that right now. Either one or a mix of them.
#mayu mailbox#currenly writing a 9 tail kitsune yandere x 1 tail kitsune reader#a platonic yan saintess who wants her son (yandere duke) to get with the saintess maid#another haunted house oneshot cause i was not satisfied with the last one and want to change it up a bit#thinking of some other stuff too#had to redo a draft like 3 times now cause i have this concept in mind of like a game kind of world were someone either reader or yandere#has the ability to open a game setting menu of each persona and just... hack them- so like for example changes in body#or maybe occupation or like human to like a monster or killing the person but reviving them again like how to explain editing npcs?#while for the most part they didnt realize what is being done to them??

Fic: Drop Everything Now (Meet Me in the Pouring Rain)
Eddie realizes the irony, okay?
It’s the same freaking park.
The same freaking dog.
But this time it’s him looking like an idiot, running after River after something had caught her attention and she took off, startling him so bad he dropped her leash.
And not only is he chasing his boyfriend’s dog through the park as the sun’s going down, but there’s also a lovely storm cloud bubbling up that is sure to start unleashing its contents as soon as Eddie gets close enough to snag River’s leash again.
He’s going to get soaked, he just knows.
So yeah, the irony of chasing River through the same park, down the same path he met Buck on? He definitely gets it.
Read the rest here.
