What superhero would Kon dress up as, other than Superman? Like, say, for a Halloween party.
This somehow came up in conversation, and I was stumped. I figure Bart would dress as Batman, but what about Tim & Kon, y'all?

So someone showed me a post about how... in 2005... the ship war was just as bad as it is today...
Honey...
Sweetheart...
No it wasn't!
In 2005, we still had dial-up internet. MySpace (RIP) was just popping up, Facebook was barely in existence, and FF.N was in it infancy.
We had Forums, Chatrooms, and maybe Livejournal.
The ship war was tame compared to post 2020 resurgence.
In 2005, Broadband and Directv had just become a thing in the average household. It's also when we had to have a wireless router within 10 ft of our computers. Otherwise, we couldn't use internet.
And when the show was airing... no one knew who was going to be with who. There was also the possibility of Taang.
Some of us thought there was going to be a love triangle with Zuko, Katara, and Aang. It was up in the freaking air.
But we were pretty isolated on the internet back then. Forums were basically where discourse was kept. Chatrooms were full of people doing RP and doing the whole 16/F/whatever. We were talking about Inuyasha and Digimon more than we were talking about AtLA.
At school... the show hardly ever came up in conversation. Mainly because we were trying to play Magik or YuGiOh. Pokémon cards were banned, but the other two weren't. Made no sense. But seriously...
It wasn't a big deal. The 00's were cool. Chill. Because it was post-9/11 And everyone had mutual respect. But yeah...
The ship war only became (as far as I can tell) really bad with the 2020 Netflix release of the show during the pandemic that turned us all into rage filled karens frothing at the mouth because we ad humans aren't built for separation over a long period of time. It messes with your brain.
I mean, some people don't even know what Nokia Brick is, and you can tell.
That sucker put a hole in my wall.
Anyway, yeah... those of us who were there that day, 3000 years ago, we remember.
We were there, Gandalf. We were there.
