Imagining Youtuber!Ellie who is blatantly honest on youtube. It’s scary.

She’s playing a random indie video game she found on steam, and giving her commentary as usual. Until there’s a sudden cut and she’s now in different clothes than the previous and she goes on to explain why.

“Hey, guys. Sorry, I had to take a massive shit, but guess who survived? This guy!” she says with a comical smile while pointing at herself before unpausing the game and playing as if nothing happened.

But for some reason, Youtuber!Ellie can’t let go that she pooped.

“But yeah, guys, like, shit, that fucker was begging to come out, so I’m sorry if I was acting different. I was clenching my asshole.”

How charming….ANYWAYS.

Hey so this is kinda inspired by @virgamsysxvolumes lucky rush au but it's more my own twist on the bioshock inspiration. Actual prompt / idea below the cut

Ok so this would be a good parents au where Danny revealed himself to his parents shortly after the series (excluding phantom planet) and they were super supportive and asked for his help in learning more about ghosts. He also managed to track down Dani and brought her back to Amity only to learn that the ecto dejecto was only a quick fix. Eventually with Frostbites help they cure Dani but the only way is to essentially turn her into her core and let her form a new body in a special pod only she would be a baby. Now at first Jack and Maddie were going to fake a pregnancy and pretend she was Danny's and Jazz's sister however she and Danny bonded while they were looking for a cure and she accidentally called him Daddy. Danny was smitten and decided he would not pretend to be her brother and would be her dad.

The fentons pass it off as an invention gone weird that basically made a baby from Danny with no mother and Amity just shrugs at the Fenton weirdness and accept baby Dawn (She asked Danny to give her a new name before she was turned to a baby and I think that would be a cute name Danny would come up with.) Now 4 years later Danny is 19 or 20 and Dawn is 4 years old and Danny had been studying inventing like his parents and medicine from Frostbite. At Dawn's most recent check up Frostbite gave Danny one as well only to discover that Danny has been absorbing more ecto-energy than his core can handle because he is a primordial in the making (yes this is master of space Danny). So the solution to this is two-fold he has to move to another dimension with less ecto-energy and he has to where a special suit in his ghost form that frostbite and his parents made together. Which is this.

Just without the drill and maybe a little more astronaut themed.

So eventually they pack up Danny and Dawn and find a new dimension with a city where they can live without people asking too many questions. Gotham city. With the number of vigilantes already there Danny won't feel obligated to go out and fight and he can finish his degree at Gotham U and start a business making and selling meta specialized medical equipment and other helpful inventions. (But no weapons.)

So Danny and Dawn with their new identities and parents/grandparents, aunts and uncles (blood and honorary) settle in pretty well with Danny and Dawn going out on moonlit walks in Ghost form. Thus the people of Gotham meet Big Daddy and his little starlight.

Now as for who I would ship with Danny I personally love DannyxCass or Dead silent as I think the current ship name for them is.

So maybe she meets the single dad Danny at college or at the park for the first time but they don't really hit it off until Danny signs Dawn up for a ballet class that Cass teaches.

Meanwhile Bruce and the more paranoid Bat's are trying to find out more about this tank like Meta that the public named big daddy (I imagine people heard Dawn calling him Daddy and No one ever asked his name so they start calling him that as a sort of meme) after he beat down a feral ManBat who tried to go after Starlight. (They heard Danny call her that in the suit and ran with it)

Basically we have creepy tank man and his glowing ghostly daughter on one side and sweet Cass and Danny romance with little gremlin Dawn trying to play matchmaker on the other.

Also what I think the other bat's think of Cass new boyfriend.

Dick is full overprotective big brother.

Jason after seeing the way that Danny is trying to help the underprivileged and the fact that they are like something out of a Hallmark movie ships it.

Tim is paranoid about this stranger and is back to his old habits(stalking) to find answers.

Steph is full Gung ho wing women she will be Cass bridesmaid God dammit.

Damien starts off hostile thinking there is no way he's good enough for his favorite sister until he meets Dawn and suddenly he is declaring that Cass needs to hurry up and marry him or else he will because he will have that adorable little girl in his family no matter what.

Duke is wary at first because he hadn't ever seen someone who glows as bright as Danny and Dawn but the more time he spends with them the more he realizes that the bright glow is a safe and protective aura and that it reaches out and covers everyone Danny cares about. (Danny has a ghostly aura he subconsciously covers people he cares about with that let's him react to danger faster)

Alfred is already planning out weddings and birthdays. He always expected Dick to be the first one to give him Great grand babies but he's not complaining.

Bruce much like Dick is full over protective dad maybe he even borrows one of Alfred's guns to try to intimidate Danny.

Barbara who is both a big sister figure and a almost mother like figure to Cass is absolutely delighted. (It doesn't hurt that Danny made a set of leg braces that can read nerves to allow her to walk naturally again without needing surgery)

Selina adores the two and thinks they make a cute couple.

Also I think it would be funny if after all of Bruce, Dicks, and Tim's paranoia Danny just strait up tells them that he is from another dimension and even offers to let them tag along on the next visit to his parents so they can do a proper background check (which freaks them out because they hadn't told him they were doing that. At least until while they are discussing it and if that was evidence that Danny is more than he appears Cass says she told him that they were doing a background check on him. Not that Danny didn't already know but it helps the suspicion.)

But yeah part neutral Meta and park Hallmark romance.

Also maybe a side plot of Jazz coming to this dimension and maybe she has a relationship with Supergirl because I haven't seen that before.

Hiiiii! Thanks for playing ❤️ I was aiming to make these cute little drabbles, about the same length as the WIP game, BUT. That didn’t happen here.

So, enjoy what is essentially a oneshot missing scene from Only Way Out (is through).

27. Accidentally Sleeping In

The kitchen was still cast in deep blue shadow. The night clung to the corners of the room, and the furniture in the adjacent den was nothing but dark silhouettes as the windows gradually lightened. Blinking out over the fields with bleary eyes, it looked like another clear summer’s day on the horizon. A breeze made the jurda dance; the last stars glittered above; and the first fingers of sunlight were going pink as they chased away the darkness.

The house felt still in a way that it hadn’t since the boys came to stay. There was no glow of light under Jesper’s bedroom door, and there was no squeak of mattress springs as they restlessly shifted around and around. Wylan’s usual beleaguered whisper was absent, leaving nothing but the slumbering silence of pre-dawn.

He hoped Jesper had gotten that poor lad to go to sleep and stay asleep. And that he’d still gotten a good night’s rest for himself.

Colm looked at the wall clock— scarcely 5 bells.

He’d give them till the half chime.

He took the coffee pot down from its cupboard as quietly as he could manage, and set the kettle on the fire. He would give them until breakfast was ready. Usually, Jesper was stumbling down the corridor by the time he smelled griddlebreads, anyway. Even after all these years away, it was still like a summoning ritual for even the most exhausted of sons.

Even this exhausted, though? Addy’s voice chimed in from the back of his mind. You’ve never seen him this tired. You know that.

Colm sprinkled flour across the countertop, and unwrapped their breakfast dough from where he’d left it to rise in the hearth’s embers overnight. Perhaps he kneaded into the soft puff of it with more feeling than usual, but he couldn’t help it. He was worried.

He had never been able to hide from his wife— especially not now. And, as usual, she was right.

It had been just over a week since Jesper and his young councilman had docked in Shriftport. They brought with them two haphazardly packed cases of clothes, but Colm considered them lucky that their ship didn’t charge them extra for the bags under their eyes. There was a weight on Wylan’s skinny frame so broad and crushing, it almost surprised the Kaelishman to see the lad walking.

Jesper helped shoulder that weight with all the grace of a man anticipating an explosion, but Colm glowed with pride all the same. They were good partners, those two. He watched them give and take throughout that long, sleepless week— he caught the tail end of long talks and brief check ins. Every morning after they came in from the jurda fields, Colm brought in the post; and every night, he walked past their bedroom door to see the lamps still lit as they worked steadily through the passing hours.

And, he saw the circles under their eyes grow darker with each morning, over griddlebreads and coffee. In the pre-dawn, they seemed as deep as any shadow in the house.

Colm was finally beginning to understand the extent of what Jesper was trying to say in his letter, all those days ago.

Dear Da, it read, I hope you’re well. Good to hear the harvest is coming in strong, and the buyers are already lining up.

Things here are fine— I’m worried about Wylan. This house is starting to feel bloody haunted, and the noses of the council constantly poking in aren’t doing much to help. Everything is piling up. He thinks I don’t know how much this is grating on him, and I don’t know how to tell him he’s scaring me.

I know I’m not much of a communicator—

I understand if you’re still mad, but I’m trying to—

Did you ever have to talk to Ma— that one was so blotted with ink, that Colm had to hold it up to the midday sun to find the words underneath.

I don’t know what to do. You told me to tell you next time I didn’t know what to do, so I’m doing that. He’s not sleeping, he forgets to eat, we spend all day pushing through this damned paperwork, and getting him down to the club can only distract him from the worst of it for so long.

I’m so tired, I don’t even know what I’m trying to say. Help? I suppose?

He signed it with love from the both of them, and Colm had reread it until the parchment feathered at the corners. It was still tucked into the bookshelf in the shadowy den, used as a place marker in a half-interesting novel he gave up on.

The kettle whistled. With floured hands, the Kaelishman turned in the time-honoured route from counter to stove, and then to the coffee maker. He didn’t need to think about it. The motions were as natural as breathing, and he had other things on his mind.

The night before, the three of them spent a few short hours in the den before retiring for the day.

Colm couldn’t even remember what was being said, when Jesper suddenly went very still, and quiet. His grey eyes blinked, wide and sparkling, and he looked over to his young councilman as if he wasn’t sure what he’d see. And then he smiled.

No, he beamed.

Because Wylan Van Eck was deep asleep, his cheek smushed up into Jesper’s shoulder. His thick lashes tickled along his cheek, chapped red lips just a little bit open. He took slow, even breaths against Jesper’s chest, and Colm couldn’t help the clench of emotion that snuck up around his heart.

He looked like a little boy.

And Jesper looked like he’d been given an absolute treasure of a gift.

He kissed his forehead— gently, so gently, as if he’d bolt upright at any second— and didn’t dare to wake him up to shuffle him off to bed.

Colm held open the bedroom door so Jes could fit Wylan and himself through the narrow opening. The smaller lad was laid out in the center of the bed while Jesper fluttered around the room, unlacing Wylan’s boots and slipping his braces from his shoulders. For once, Colm found himself glad that his son was so allergic to making his bed— it made it much easier to slip back in at night.

And that was the last he had seen of either of them. The Kaelishman bid his son goodnight in a whisper, and Jesper smiled. He looked so exhausted,and so relieved.

Oh, he hoped they’d managed some good rest.

By the time the half chime rang through the little farmhouse, each bread had been cooked to golden brown, steaming perfection. Coffee was ready. Plates were on the counter— not that Jesper would use one. Not when there was the option to leave crumbs on the kitchen floor.

But, Jesper wasn’t here. There were no creaking bed springs, or sleepy grumbling voices coming down the corridor. Colm craned his head to peek at the lad’s door, and the glow of the lamp wasn’t there, like it had been so reliably for so many days.

The sun was rising, painting the kitchen and the den with the wash of warm pink, yellow and Zemeni blue sky. Yet, even with the shadows chased away, the house was still heavy with a sleeping hush.

He sighed.

At least when Jesper was awake all night, he didn’t oversleep.

Rolling his eyes, he poured himself a coffee and took a long sip. He stared at the door, willing the light to turn on, and to hear his son roll out of bed and curse at the clock.

They were meant to start the second round of the harvest that morning. The first of the drying blooms were out in the silos, but the growing things of the earth weren’t just going to wait for them to be ready to pick them. The time frame was limited. How many times had he told Jesper that? How many times had he walked the short path from the kitchen to that bedroom door, and given him the wake up call he missed?

This time, though, he raised his hand to knock, and… paused.

Instead, he dared to open the door and poke his head into the room.

The sunrise was a little slower to reach Jesper’s room, turning the peachy dawn into a warm lavender haze through the drapes. The bedside table was stacked with the last of the letters to be sent— signed and sealed with a splatter of red wax. But, on the bed itself, there wasn’t nearly as much formality… or urgency.

The covers had been kicked around. Only a sheet was draped across Jesper’s skinny hips, his gangly limbs starfished out across the mattress. He was utterly dead to the world. His ribs rose and fell in deep pulls of breath, and Colm wished he could see his boy’s sleeping face better. He always looked so sweet and young, finally at rest for once in his wild life.

But, this time, his nose was buried in a nest of wild curls.

While Jesper had sprawled, Wylan had curled up under his arm, cuddled in between his body and the wall. His cheeks were flushed with the warmth of sleep, even in the low light, and he looked just the same as he had when he fell asleep the evening before. He had a cheek squished up against Jesper, lashes fanning his cheeks, and chapped lips slack. Now, though, his fingers twitched and flexed over Jesper’s chest, and he was burrowing impossibly closer to him. A tiny little sigh passed Jesper’s lips— he could see it as it ruffled the red curls obscuring his mouth. Maybe he smeared an unconscious kiss to his forehead. Colm couldn’t tell.

Oh Saints. Colm couldn’t bring himself to wake them.

“Da?”

Grey eyes blinked at him for a long, sleepy moment, not processing much of anything at first. And then, it hit.

“Fuck—!”

“Shh, shh— no.” Colm crossed the small room to stop his son before he moved and woke the both of them. “No, no. It’s alright, Jes.”

Jesper blinked. Wylan made a sleepy little sound, but didn’t wake.

Colm pulled the covers back up over them, and Jesper finally seemed to understand what was happening. His eyes went half lidded. He sighed.

“Get some sleep, son.” He murmured.

Jes just hummed.

They were both asleep again by the time Colm closed the door behind them.

[Next] Faith's assailant punches her in the face, but she isn't fazed in the least. She blocks two punches with her forearms and then backhand punches him in the face. FAITH: My dead mother hits harder than that! She throws him onto a couple of sheets of drywall laid across two sawhorses. They break instantly under his weight. She runs up to him, grabs his sweater and punches him in the face. She doesn't stop, and keeps on punching him in the face, whaling on him.

The shadow-cursed lands on the road to Baldur's Gate had been a place of near-eternal nighttime for a century. Yet with Kethric’s death, the land was already healing. Halsin had said the curse was starting to fall away as the group had packed up their campsite after the conquest of Moonrise Towers, only a day ago.

Still, it was one thing to hear it from the druid, and another thing to see it happen before her eyes. Devi had barely set foot on the road to Baldur's Gate, just outside of the abandoned village, when she felt warmth on her back. It didn't feel like Gale had decided to spontaneously hug her from behind, nor did it feel like a fireball thrown from an ambush. It felt warm, and comforting, radiating on her partially-shaved head.

She turned, and felt her eyes widen as she watched the shadows fall away, the grotesque vines and roots of corrupted plants withering under a new sunrise. It had been so long since she'd seen the sun, over a tenday – she closed her eyes for a moment, soaking in the welcome rays of sunshine.

To her right, Halsin chuckled. “I told you we would see the land begin to heal before we left,” the large druid said. “Nature is restoring balance, with Kethric gone.”

“And good riddance to him,” Devi fervently said. “Creepy bastard.”

She could almost hear Halsin's smirk before he turned away. “Ah, stop your complaining, Astarion,” he said. “You said your vampire powers were held at bay by the parasite. You can stand some sunlight.”

“So? It's still so bright!” Astarion complained.

Devi grinned, then felt a larger hand gently take hers and squeeze. She didn't need to open her eyes to know it was Gale at her side. “It's wonderful, isn't it?” she asked. “I'd almost forgotten how nice the sun feels.”

“Mmmm. It's beautiful,” Gale murmured in agreement – although when Devi opened her eyes, the wizard was gazing at her, completely ignoring the huge tree rising from the heart of the village the party was leaving behind. Recognizing he was caught, Gale had the grace to look a little sheepish; still, he reached out to touch Devi's cheek with his free hand. “Your eyes have the most beautiful look in the sunlight – they're the colour of the sea,” he softly said. “I could lose myself in them.”

And to think Devi had come so close to losing her wizard lover, in the depths under the towers in the mind-flayer colony... Forcing back the sudden heat behind her eyes that threatened tears, she stretched up on tip-toe to kiss Gale as the sun, briefly passing behind natural white clouds, came back out into the open. “I'm glad you're here with me,” she whispered. “You deserve to see as many sunrises as you can, Mystra be damned.”

Gale smiled and touched his forehead to hers. “And as beautiful as every dawn is, they're no comparison to you and your smile that lights up a room–”

“Oi!” Karlach hollered from the front of the party. “Save it for when we make camp tonight, you two lovebirds!”

“Please, before I get ill watching you two be so nauseatingly sweet,” Astarion loudly muttered. It was almost enough to hide the sound of Jaheira’s amused snort.

Gale rolled his eyes, then grandly gestured to the road in front of the pair. “Shall we, love?”

“Yes, let's.” Devi laughed and, with a final look back at the healing village and its magnificent new tree, started walking west toward Baldur's Gate. Having Gale's hand in hers felt natural and perfect, like she had been missing that touch for her entire life. She needed the wizard like she needed sunlight and water, and it felt good to know that he felt the same about her.

It seemed this conversation made him very excited, he didn't get to talk about his joint life situation as it was very different with both sides so to have someone interested it was new to him.

"Wolf family no celebrate Christmas at first, but Gonta taught them about it. We hunt as pack at dawn and share food. Not only that but we find gifts in forest. Gonta once got berries from brother and he got mother deer antler once." He smiled fondly while recalling the memory, the hunting tended to take all day due to the size of the pack but it was always worth it. "Then we all have big sleep all together. Gonta always look forward to it."

He paused in thought and then moved on to the other side. "With people, Gonta do similar but no hunting. Get a few gifts for human family but Gonta no receives much from them but it okay. A true gentleman never expects gifts. With friends, Gonta try to make gifts from heart. He thinks it more important than spending money." It wasn't as fun as his wolf traditions but he did enjoy spending time with his friends, even if he was upset with his human family side of things. "What about you? Gonta suspect you do things different, right?"

[2024/03] Collection Progress

Originally I planned to write this post at the end of the month of March as a way to look back on my collection progress at the end of every month, but it completely slipped my mind when once my irl schedules got busy ; w ; As of writing this, a new event [When Tides Echo] also began at the start of the month (on 04/03), bringing about additional new memories into the collection, so this recap post will cover all of March's progress and the first week of April to reflect the current progress from my screenshots.

As I've previously mentioned in my February post I was missing a few 4-star memories for Xavier. I eventually pulled the lunar 4-star memories [Dreaming] and [Spring Letter] from the wish pool, so now I'm just missing the solar Heartfelt memory pair: [Heartfelt Code] and [Heartfelt Guide] - which can only obtainable through Galaxy Explorer.

As a Zayne girly it brings me so much joy to say he was the first love interest's collection I complete 💯 Galaxy Explorer blessed me on White Day by having his solar pair come home. I was also missing one of his other 4-star solar pair [Neon Night]. It was a meme amongst my friends and I on how badly this memory eluded me, but he eventually decided to take pity on me and come home on a random 10x on the permanent banner, Xspace Echo.

Now all that remains to be collected is his 4-star solar Heartfelt memory pair: [Heartfelt Moment] and [Heartfelt Game].

Last time I wrote a collection progress post I only spoke about the [Memories], but this time I want to include the [Fun Collection]. This collection includes the rewards gained from our Playtime Dates with the love interest. For those who aren't aware, it's also another way to earn passive diamonds. [Kitty Land] + [Pawsemble] + [Pawfait] are permanent badge series, while [Superkitty] + [Meowstar] are on a rotation. Not sure when those rotational meow badge series will come back. Seems to be a monthly thing with Meowstar series in March and Superkitty series in April. The only badge pack I was able to complete was Zayne's Pawfait. Aside from x diamonds reward there was no other achievement.

Bread's Game Of The Year Honorable Mention #1: Horizon: Burning Shores

Turns out, talking about video games I like is still fun, who knew? You know what video games are fun? Horizon Zero Dawn, and Horizon Forbidden West. Two games whose general reaction's to and reputations of annoy me deeply, because the annoying repeated memes of them somehow being creative failures because they came out among other unrelated fan favorites drives me mad. You know what doesn't drive me mad though? Playing the Horizon games, and Burning Shores is no different. Serving as the big expansion pack for Forbidden West, much the same way Frozen Wilds was for Zero Dawn, Burning Shores is a very solid, self contained open world experience that fans of the series shouldn't ignore. Not only do you get to explore a cool new area in the ruins of L.A, filled with lava like in the Tommy Lee Jones movie "Volcano" for some reason, but you get a solid chunk of new story for both the universes lore and characters. Hell, not to spoil anything too big, but Aloy even has a possible romantic interest in this expansion. Sort of going against my assumption this entire time that she's been AAA gamings only real Ace representation, but you learn something new every day. The new environment to explore takes a lot of cues from the already extant San Francisco area in the main game, but the tropical beaches still lend a lot of fantastic eye candy while you search around for new quests and activities. The main story is also a little bit of a wrap up situation, but nonetheless a fun one. Featuring a minor villain who escaped the finale of the main game, which I won't really get into details for because the surprise halfway through the base game really deserves to be preserved for new players. So many words to say, Burning Shores is a solid expansion, and an easy recommendation from me, even if doesn't quite break my top five this year. 2023 was so packed with good video games, that's not really an indicator of a problem.

What is your wildest headcanon?

I have a few.

MCU: Sam Wilson was a band kid in high school.

Stargate Atlantis: There’s something a little off about John Sheppard. While he’s very good at pretending to be normal, sometimes, when things are getting real and lives are on the line, the mask slips just a bit. Just a little uncanny valley for anyone lucky enough to survive the next few minutes. (It does kind of explain the in-canon luck, and the body count)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: “The monks made her out of me” – Dawn Summers was Buffy’s daughter; specifically, Buffy was pregnant when the monks made the Key into human form… and that microscopic embryo was taken and aged and given memories through magic, and shoved into Buffy’s life as her little sister, not her daughter.

And I kinda always thought Buffy knew that.

What is your favorite fic that you’ve written?

Worldbuilding: Inevitable – especially in levelling-up Anita’s powers through the Bokor Majeur, and everything about the London vampires and Elsa in particular.

Relationships: Child of the Wolf – Everything about this fic just snaps into place with Stiles as the centre of everything, with Scott and Derek and the pack and with Allison and Lydia and his dad, as well as the Avengers side of things as well. Even though it took me seven years to finish (and even that was inspired by MCU-motivated spite) I really like it how it rounded out into a nice fic. Which, of course, I then blew apart in Hour of the Wolf, but it wouldn’t have hurt so much if Allison hadn’t had so much to lose.  

Overall presentation: Hands of Clay. Considering the domestic AU nature of the story, it could have turned out kinda lame, but I think that the real life nature of things really played out well, and the relationships that develop between the four members of the eventual Buck-Rogers Barnes-Rogers family made for a really interesting story. Writing Bucky’s PTSD was hard, ngl, but also slightly cathartic.

Also, a word on endings. One of the things I always regretted about Inevitable was ending is so abruptly – it was what it was, but I always sort of felt that the emotional weight of what was happening didn’t land as I had intended. With Hands of Clay, I really, really wanted to wrap things up where Bucky and Steve (and Natasha and Clint) all got their happily-ever-after, especially after everything Natasha went through in the latter chapters.

So we got the outtakes. Clint getting his dog. Natasha asking Steve to adopt her. Steve’s hilarious attempt at proposing. And then the final chapter: the wedding, and Bucky getting to have everyone in his life in one room, with some good food, watching him getting married to the love of his life.

Not bad, even if I do say so myself :)

Hi anon, thank you for the ask! Whoa this is cool. I've never gotten a Kirei request before. This will make for a good challenge as I don't know quite so much about this guy.

Edit: This was so difficult. I am so satisfied with canon Kirei that I haven't got many headcanons for him at all...

Sexuality Headcanon: I have no clue to be honest, though he did attempt a happy(?) marriage with his now deceased wife Claudia Hortensia, had his interesting obsession with Kiritsugu- and whatever spicy shenanigans he had going on with Gilgamesh during the fourth to fifth grail wars.... I cannot determine a clear sexuality headcanon for Kotomine Kirei.

I admit, I did assume he was more on the asexual spectrum when I first saw him in Fate/Zero, but after seeing some more fate stuff I legit have no clue anymore. I feel like there is so many complex nuances to what draws Kirei to certain types that I am not quite sure what his sexuality could be headcanoned as.

Gender Headcanon: I don't have any gender headcanons for Kirei, I feel like Kirei is very much who he is; especially by the dawn of Fate Stay Night in which he seems very comfortable as to how he identifies himself.

A ship: oooh Kotogil that ship is evil men supreme, absolutely hedonistic and sadistic ship where all desires converge and meld together into a thrilling rhapsody of pleasure! ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT DYNAMIC! Also I ship him with Kiritsugu mainly because I loved their final battle in Fate/Zero, as well as their contrasting ideals. That fight was incredible, one of my favorites of all time. Posts that call Kiritsugu Kirei's 'manic pixie dream bf' make me chuckle so hard because Kirei really was searching for something in that guy, and I feel like in a ship, that would be incredible to explore in further detail.

I don't have many Kirei ships, but I'm open to others as well! Like him and Kariya can be interesting to see just for the multilayered chaos that can be unleashed from such a pairing.

A NOTP: I have a few but mainly because I don't really like the massive age differences that are a feature of some Kirei ships. I think Kirei is a twisted guy. Ah, I also am not a fan of Bazett x Kirei solely because of how exactly their dynamic ended; it was shocking and heartbreaking what happened between them! (I see no issue with people liking Kirei x Bazett though, it's just not for me personally).

A BROTP: I feel like there are many possible exciting BROTP for Kirei, especially with FGO Rasputin now joining the team. Yeah I don't have any specific names in mind, I'm pretty neutral on this front. Would Angra and Kirei become friends? I am very curious about that.

A random headcanon: I don't really have any for Kirei, I am not sure why but I am so content with how he is in canon that I haven't got more to suggest for him. I guess he would love events like the 'geki kara (super spicy) food festival' mainly just to horrify others and cause a massive sense of unease as they watch him suffer over all of the sulfur level hot dishes and then derive pleasure from it.

General Opinion over said character: Kotomine Kirei is INCREDIBLE. What an amazing character. He is evil in nature yet tried so hard to exemplify 'good' and be something that he was not; even being able to understand the ins and outs of the concept of good; as a man with incredible moral understanding yet who packs a nature that juxtaposes so severely with his moral wisdom that he just leaves me SPEECHLESS. And then once Kirei adopts his true self, he truly flourishes (at the cost of everyone else's sense of safety and security). And then they make his magic of a HEALING TYPE and he recites PRAYERS whilst doing fucked up things I mean to me that's one of the coolest character archetypes EVER!!! Kirei is so terrible that he goes right back round to being a top-tier, brilliant character who never ceases to surprise, shock and amaze me.

HE IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAV ANTAGONISTS!!! His character arcs, development and personality are just so well written. I feel like Nasu and Takeuchi really popped off when they made this guy.
