He's worked several times throughout the last couple of years, his voice over work for an animated film, nightwatch 2, 2 tv shows filmed and aired, two unknown projects one in Scotland (she visited him briefly) and one in Spain. Short film Pic. So it's not like he's been lumping around idle without work lol. He was filming something else in DK about 2 weeks ago, unknown new project. Also worked on his GF's podcast and been on several podcasts.

Now he's got a visa to probably work in NYC like he mentioned in an interview..for an international film.

Bali and Lebanon trips for G2N & RC.

Beyonce concert and Smukfest (article said Johanne was visiting family or friends during Smukfest). Plus a boys trip in Dublin. This is off the top of my head. He travels a lot. Lol Other concerts, even with his Dad.

So I'm not sure why some people are acting like he doesn't leave the house or his girlfriend keeps him chained at her side. That's clearly not what's happening. 😂😂😂😂 that's the new/latest irrational angle I guess. Or that she's keeping him from work or friends for some imagined reason haters imagined her to have. Just bc you don't see instagram posts of him with friends doesn't mean he's not been with friends. Just bc neither person posted them at Christmas together doesn't mean they didn't see each other at all ( their second Christmas together), doesn't mean they didn't have their "couples Christmas" and exchange gifts lol. And how are you going to use what you didn't see as a way to make up a story that she's manipulating him by withholding her presence. or gets mean when she doesn't get her way (lol random irrational assumption). Or keeping him from work and friends.😂😂 I mean really are you kidding me? 😂😂😂😂😂 this is imo, highly irrational.

Maybe they only show what they want to show, on socials, and are private with the rest (they seem more guarded with posts now). They're basically already living together (clothes in closet was posted so educated guess) but we don't see every minute of their days or nights. But again, educated guess, they're having sex. We won't see it ever ( good bc that's extra private) but I'm gonna guess that they are. To hammer my point home about the just bc you don't see it on Instagram doesn't mean it's not happening. Consider work schedules and real life for all involved, consider also when you're in a relationship you will spend a large portion of time with your partner. This is normal. Like when people have kids and unless you visit them you might not see them for awhile. Lol

This doesn't make him weak, it doesn't say anything bad about him at all. It also doesn't say anything bad about her either. Why is he seen as weak or a victim of some kind? It doesn't make sense. Why does she have to a villain to some people? And not just a normal couple with extraordinary jobs? They seem pretty solid even though he travels a lot. But she's an actor too, so she would understand the travel aspect of the job/life.

Sidenote the "hands" video, her face is so adorably sweet looking in the video. They're cute together. The tickling was funny. 😊😊😊

Well I've been thinking about this pretty a lot and, I don't know if this is your kind of post, but I was wondering who would be like date someone of x-family, but you are an outsider. Like... not of other country or other necessarily human, but... I mean they live in a school and almost don't get out but to stop villains, so they are probably in their own world inside the school. I really hope you got it because I made a mess to explain.

Anyway, how would be to date a member of x-family begin an outsider?

I did my best to answer, but I may have gone more in depth than you were thinking. I’m not sure exactly who you mean by X-Family, because they’re all one big family. So, I added a lot of people! 

NOTE: I did not put Erik and Charles in because they are kind of the parents of X-Family, and you specifically asked for X-Family. I don’t know if the parents would date anyone besides the other.

I don’t really do character x reader stuff, but this was a fun prompt. I hope I cover everything! Tell me what you think—feedback is appreciated! As always, thank you so much for the ask. Keep them coming! They are a lot of fun!

WANDA MAXIMOFF– Wanda likes domesticity. We saw that in WandaVision! I think you would likely meet her at the movie theatre, or a coffee shop. She can be a bit of a sap for things like that. She would be closed off at first, but if you could make her laugh, she would fall pretty fast. After that, it would be drive-in movies with popcorn fights in the front seats, references to sitcoms that the two of you watched together, and other fun dates (playing Twister, making cupcakes together, pretending to be witches and/or a witch and wizard attending Hogwarts together, etc.). Wanda might even show off her magic a bit to make you smile! It would be very two-way. Both of you would get a lot out of the relationship. Charles would likely dote over you if you could make Wanda smile. He would be the parent that constantly asks Wanda how her girlfriend/boyfriend is doing. Erik would probably be skeptical until he saw you making Wanda happy. Pietro would play lots of jokes on you to see how you react—do you take it well, or get mad? That would determine how he views you. 

PIETRO MAXIMOFF— Pietro does have a life outside of the mansion. He gets away every moment he can, and because he’s so fast, there’s nothing his parents can do to stop him. You would probably be a friend of his that he met on one of his excursions from the mansion. It would start as just a friendship. But then friendship would probably turn into fun practical jokes that you could both laugh at. Karaoke nights would start to get later and later as the two of you refused to watch the clock and just spent time with one another. Halloween would be a lot of fun—I think Pietro would probably want to do a couple costume. He would refuse to call it that, though. Everyone else would meet you first as a friend, and then the psychics (Jean and Charles) would catch on that there was something more to it. They would make lighthearted fun of the two of you, but because they are both so caring, they would also take you under their wings, so to speak. Erik, on the other hand, may threaten you if you hurt his son. And Wanda would probably judge you. 

JEAN GREY— Jean is studying to be a doctor, and I assume she still goes to classes outside of the Xavier Mansion. In order to get her attention, you would need to prove that you don’t like her for looks. She has had a rough love life, and they always seem to want her because she’s pretty. If you could prove to Jean that you like her because she’s funny, CRAZY smart, and fun to be around, then she would start inviting you to things. If you let her make the first move, she would probably like you even more. Dates would include long drives where the two of you could talk about anything and everything, book store dates where you would buy each other books, and the occasional food fight. Jean has a fun side that she rarely shows: she likes to be a kid, too, not just a superhero that studies medicine. She likes to make a mess, dance around, and stay up all night telling scary stories. If you were into that kind of thing, Jean would be a lifelong lover. She’s very heart-to-heart. Erik would probably look at you and nod slowly, because he could see the love in Jean’s eyes. Charles would be the skeptical one here. He would not want to see Jean get hurt, and it would take a few weeks for him to warm up. The other kids would probably adore you—after all, you would be someone totally new that can bring out the good in just about anyone.

RAVEN DARKHOLME— Would You Date Me? That was the song (yes, from the soundtrack of X-Men: First Class) that Raven would think when she met you. You would probably meet her on the battlefield. Raven is attracted to bad boys/girls. You would probably be a villain, and she would be a reformed hero. She would meet you and want to know more. You would not hurt her in battle because you have a softer side, and she would want to understand why. That would lead to her sneaking out of the mansion in the middle of the night to meet with you in various places. The dates would include was-that-fighting-or-flirting and a lot of heart-to-heart talking. Raven needs body positivity, and if you gave it to her, she would be eternally thankful. When you eventually would meet the rest of X-Family, it would be a little awkward... you would have tried to kill everyone in the room multiple times. Charles forgives easily, so he would accept you quickly. Erik has been in your position before, so he would like you, too. The other kids might take some time though!

ORORO MUNROE— Ororo used to be a pickpocket, and I think you would likely meet her by trying to pickpocket her. She would see you and decide that she wants to help you. You would start by meeting up for coffee and lunch where she can help you overcome your desire to steal. After that, you would open up and start to trust her more, but you would also want to spend more time with her. She would meet up with you at any time, whenever you needed her. Dates would include dancing in the rain and Ororo taking you up into the clouds to watch the sun set. She would teach you to garden and give you self-worth until you no longer felt the desire to steal to get by. The others would accept you very easily—if Ororo likes you, you have to be good.

SCOTT SUMMERS— Scott is very traditional. He would probably rescue you during battle—maybe a stone tower was going to fall on you or something, and he blasted it away. He likes to be the hero. After that, the two of you would start meeting up in all the cliche ways. He would take you to the movies or out to food. He would throw pebbles at your window, and send you long texts about how beautiful you are. Scott has gone through many lovers before, but the others would see the way he looks at you through his visor and quickly decide that you’re one of the better ones.

KURT WAGNER— Kurt is super religious, and I suspect you would meet him through church. He would be very shy, but if you were able to look past the blue, two-fingered, tailed exterior, you would find the softest of hearts. He would bring you flowers with small poems attached, and take you on short vacations—teleporting, not traveling—to the beach or to the big city. He would like to see your smile. There would be a lot of surprise gifts, too. If you ever needed him, he would teleport to get there as fast as he could. The others would think it is adorable that you make Kurt smile so much. They would invite you over all the time, for dinner and for game nights. 

ROGUE— The poor woman is so touch-starved. You would probably meet her on an occasion that she snuck out, the little rebel. She would like to give you hugs (without skin to skin contact) and run her hand through your hair. The two of you would spray paint walls and have water gun fights as often as you could. She would probably leave you gifts outside your door on a weekly basis. Because she is, well, Rogue, I doubt she would tell the others about you for a couple of months. She would not want to make a scene. She’s also just rebellious like that. When she finally did, though, she would get a talking-to from Charles. Erik would want to meet you immediately, because he would think that you sound awesome. Charles would come around to that view, too. The other kids would probably be a little wary... until they met you.

KITTY PRYDE— NERDS! She is such a geek, and you would probably meet her through robotics or something. It would start as a school girl’s crush, complete with sending one another notes and giving each other looks when no one else is around. Once you got together (she would probably make the first move, but if you beat her to it, she would definitely say yes), she would make bad pick up lines and puns all the time. She would meet up with you to do things like fly drones over restricted areas. When she would take you to meet her family, she would make a big deal out of it. She’d make sure that it was a formal dinner with everyone on their best behavior, and... yeah. The others would find it endearing, and with a good first impression, they would easily accept you into the family.

LOGAN— This one is fun. Logan is a lone wolf. You would likely meet him on a separate mission, possibly in Japan. You would need to chase after him. He would not make the first move. If you chowed him that you really cared for him, then he would start to get protective and try to keep you safe. There would be a lot of late nights drinking and whatnot... I’ll leave the ‘whatnot’ up to your imagination. I mean, this is Logan. But he would love you very deeply. Seldom does Logan fall in love, so when he does, it’s a big deal. That being said, it would probably be a long distance relationship. You would probably not meet the rest of X-Family for a couple of years, until the relationship was solid and he wanted to take you back to the States to meet everyone. It might even be the wedding. If it was the wedding where you finally met the X-Men... expect some laughs. They would tell every embarrassing story about Logan, just to make him flustered.

A/N: I’ve been binge watching Sailor Moon and became a weeb for this entire au idea........... 

Tuxedo Mask is a known superhero around Asia

he goes around, saving people with his roses and lecturing people about right and wrong

(he’s lowkey known to be kind of preachy lol)

but goddamn

he is attractive, even with a mask covering a portion of his face

I mean, he’s tall and he’s got those broad shoulders that could land a whole ass plane

and the suit

goddamn the fucking suit y’all

it showcases those long legs, the shoulders, and that small waist

and the amount of times the villain attacking the city will be like

Damn, who are you???

it happens nearly every time and it’s hilarious

bc like Sailor Moon would be fighting and he’d appear for backup and the villain will be like 👀 hold the fuck up

speaking of which

people think he and Sailor Moon are in love

but it’s really just a partnership thing at most 

it works, especially since she needs the additional help

(plus she’s like 13??? 14??? years old and that is very gross for them to be…….. involved)

he gets along well with the other sailor guardians too

you know…….. as well as he, a grown ass adult, can with a bunch of middle schoolers

he often helps Mercury with her homework

Jupiter and him like to swap recipes to try out 

Mars helps him often with his luck at the temple

and he often sees Venus at the gym, practicing her volleyball

honestly, he didn’t really think he would be getting away with this whole secret identity thing

it’s been like five years since his first transformation and he has yet to get legitimately caught

he can’t remember much from the first time he changed 

but there was a massive headache and a gust of wind and then…

poof, Tuxedo Mask was born

he thought the costume change was nice

but he also thought it was stupid

like who was he going to fool???

apparently, everyone

who knew the power of a mask?

(no wonder no one has discovered Superman yet) 

anyways

he really likes this whole secret identity thing because when he walks around after saving the say...... 

it kind of feeds his ego bc half of it is about how handsome and heroic and just he is

and he likes hearing a third party describe how he was during the whole fight 

it makes him sound a lot cooler than what he was actually doing 

(which is beating the villain down with his stick and poking them with his roses)

while he could have liked a more normal life, this whole double life is kind of nice

because he gets to help others when they need it

and by the end of the day, that’s all that matters to him 

anyways, other than the whole transformations

Seokjin is just an average guy

and he likes the way things are, even with the craziness his second life leads him into 

so where do you come in?

you came into his life when you walked out of your local grocery store

and into him 

okay, not exactly into him 

but you…. basically witness him transforming back to Seokjin in the alleyway 

the thing is tho 

he doesn’t notice you 

at least not at first 

but when he looks up and walks out of the alley…….. 

Seokjin: “how much did you see?” 

You: “all of it” 

Seokjin: shiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttt 

yeah…... it was all very awkward for both you and him 

you’re just a civilian…….. 

so what does he do know? 

on the other hand, you will admit he’s just as handsome as people say he is 

with and without the mask 

you understood his appeal

Seokjin: “uhhhh, so do you think you could like, not say anything about this?” 

You: “I figured you wouldn’t want me to say anything” 

Seokjin: “.....are you a villain? monster? trying to take over the world???” 

You: “even if I was, would I really even tell you?” 

Seokjin: “probably not, right?” 

You: “right” 

you both kind of stand there, rocking on your toes, not really knowing what to do next 

You: “well, I’m going to leave now bc I have ice cream and it’s melting” 

Seokjin: “do you need help carrying those?” 

he gestures towards your groceries and you have to say no 

bc even tho he’s technically a superhero person, he’s still a stranger

and who knows what he’ll do, considering the fact that you just found out his secret identity 

You: “no, thanks—I’m good, have fun saving people or whatever” 

and you walk off towards your apartment 

Seokjin just kind of watches you leave 

he can’t really do anything so…….. 

at the end of the day, he’s laying in his bed, feeling apprehensive 

even tho you don’t know his name, you know his face 

(and lbr, he’s got a face no one can forget) 

he feels indebted to you and he……. is not a fan of it 

somehow he wants to make it up to you

that doesn’t mean he does anything drastic but 

he’s a bit more on the lookout for you and any issues you might have 

nothing happens for a bit 

and you almost forget that you found out about Tuxedo Mask’s identity 

until you are attacked by a monster 

ah yes, the day had some that some monster had some absurd reasoning 

it said something about energy and some grandiose speech and you weren’t really paying attention bc you were fucking terrified 

next thing you knew, everything went black 

Seokjin managed to catch you before you fell 

Sailor Moon and the other sailor guardians came and fought off the monster while Seokjin took you away from the scene

they all do their thing and then the energy is restored into your body 

when you wake up, you’re in an unfamiliar place and Seokjin is right beside you 

Seokjin: “oh, you’re up—are you feeling okay?” 

You: “yeah, I’m fine, I’m still a little tired tho.. what happened?” 

Seokjin explains that some monster tried to take your energy for an evil plan, you knocked out cold, the energy was restored when the monster was destroyed, etc. etc. 

and then he took you back here bc he didn’t know where you lived and didn’t want to leave you in the park 

you know he’s just a stranger, but he also did kind of save your life 

(more or less bc the sailor guardians kind of did most of the work but still) 

so you rest there for a bit 

he lets you chill and makes you food and all that good stuff 

y’all have a lil moment together 

it’s a good time 

and it’s like you’re in your own little bubble away from the world

you even take this as an opportunity to ask him the questions others can’t 

he tells you how he can tell someone’s in trouble 

the powers he has (even tho it seems like Tuxedo Mask doesn’t have any) 

and he also clarifies the relationship with Sailor Moon……………. 

it’s nice for him bc he finally has someone else he can talk to about this 

he obviously can’t tell any of his friends 

and the sailor guardians are literally like 14 year old girls 

it’s nice to unload this to someone else 

and it’s a bonus that you’re cute 

after a couple of hours, you’re sure that you’re feeling better 

so you basically set up to leave 

but before you do………….. Seokjin asks for your number………… 

Seokjin: “we should do this again sometime” 

You: “like a date?” 

Seokjin: “like a date”

all the good stuff

it’s only every once in a while, he’ll have to abruptly leave a date to save someone 

while you are upset sometimes, you understand 

it doesn’t happen often tho—he tries very hard not to do that often bc he feels really bad 

on the bright side, he does make it up to you immediately afterwards 

there was one time he showed up at your place and he forgot to transform back 

so you woke up and he was just there… in his suit 

the moonlight hit him and he looked……… ethereal 

anyways 

Seokjin is very goofy, like in general 

and that’s a good thing bc it’s what makes your dates so fun 

every once in awhile he gets serious 

it’s during the late nights when it’s just you, him, and the tv

you would talk and 

for a couple of moments, that’s when you see his inner Tuxedo Mask coming out 

he talks about justice and doing what’s right, for yourself or the better of society 

it’s endearing as to how he gets about making the world a better place and all that good stuff 

he may not have chosen the life, but he doesn’t mind it 

speaking of which, you got to meet the sailor guardians (unintentionally of course) 

they insisted on meeting you and you kind of put two and two together 

bc you should be heavily concerned if your boyfriend is hanging out with middle schoolers and they aren’t related in some form 

anyways it was super cute 

they all get along with you super well and keep you up to date with things 

like if they have to go on a dangerous mission 

or travel to another dimension 

and things to look out for 

ofc Seokjin keeps you updated on that sort of thing, but he also doesn’t want to worry you so 

it’s cute

Seokjin in general is just a cute boyfriend 

he’s very domestic and a part of you melts everytime you see him in his lil apron 

whenever he’s with kids

Happy Fanfic Writer Friday (#FFWF)! Tell us the meta about your writing that you really want to ramble about (symbolism you’ve included, character or relationship development that you love, hidden references, callbacks or clues for future scenes?)

OMG THIS IS SUCH A GREAT ASK!!! 

Okay okay, because you basically gave me permission to ramble, this is gonna be so freaking long, but I’m doing it anyways, because I want to do every story that has it because I try to do stuff like this a ton, especially in multi-chapter stories!! 

Okay, I’m gonna focus on only AO3 stories this time, since those ones are the ones that really have a lot of this, and I’ll talk about them in order of most recently published/updated (though not all are included in this list because some are simpler than others lol). That said, spoiler alert for anyone who hasn’t read these stories. 

AO3:

Who Knew Birthdays Could Be So Complicated

My favorite thing about this story is that it’s based entirely on poking fun at the fact that so many MCU villains are only villains because Tony made them mad somehow, because I think it’s hilarious and I’m proud of how I was able to poke fun at it while still properly representing the beautiful relationship between Tony and Peter and their individual characterizations. 

This has a very subtle incorporation of Spideychelle, because it takes place after Endgame, but assumes Far From Home never happened, so Peter and MJ aren’t really a thing yet, but you can kind of tell they’re going to be if you take notice of the way they react both around each other and about each other in this fic. 

There’s also a very subtle incorporation of Happy/May for the same reason--Far From Home hasn’t happened (yet), so their relationship is only just starting to come to pass. It’s referenced through Tony and Peter’s suspicious/surprised reactions when Happy suddenly wants to be with May all the time. 

I love the way I made time pass in this fic. At once point, I transition between scene using a watch, and throughout the fic, the passing of time and the number of minutes are constantly mentioned to serve as a sort of countdown as events transpire, and it’s subtle, but I feel like it really helps follow the passage of time and make it all even more realistic. 

It was hard to figure out how to express this, so I’m not sure how many people actually caught this, but I loved how I subtly showed that Bruce wound up finding a way to reverse what he did before Endgame and bring himself back to his normal self in order to help the city better. 

There’s a really subtle reference to Peter’s sensory overload when Perceptivo starts talking about how he was able to grab Peter in the first place. He never finishes his sentence, but the reader and Tony get a sense of what he’s getting at. 

Everytime I write in adorable Peter and Morgan moments, I get excited about it, and this fic is no different. That said, I love the way their relationship is portrayed, even if it is brief. 

Lastly, I love what I did with the chapter titles for this story. The titles match up, outside to in. The first and last chapter parallel each other as general titles (”The Unexpected Surprise” and “The Real Surprise”). The second and seventh title both reference a phrase said/implied in the chapter (”Forty-Three Minutes” and “Unconditional Love”). The third and sixth titles chapter titles that summarize the chapter, with the sixth one being a Star Wars reference, because of course ;) (”Lost Sleep, Long Night” and “It’s a Trap”). And lastly, the fourth and fifth chapters are lines quoted by the Peter and Tony in their respective POV chapters (”I Need to Handle This on My Own” and “Dammit Kid”). I worked hard on those, and I’m so proud of how they lined up. 

Always and Forever

I love love love how the sibling relationship between Peter, Harley, and Morgan develops in this one. I love that Harley and Morgan have an established relationship through video, but there’s still a sense of distance there, and I love how Peter and Morgan have a pre-determined relationship because of the stories Tony used to tell Morgan about Peter, but he doesn’t want to overstep, so it creates distance. I love Harley and Peter knowing about and already respecting each other and then being able to actually get to know each other for real and everything that comes with that. I just love how these three slowly get to know each other, but in a way, they already knew each other so well that they’re basically already family. It’s exactly what I was shooting for, and I’m glad that it seemed to come out that way for readers and for my own self-analysis. 

I am also particularly proud of Morgan’s voice in this story. Peter and Harley, both being teenagers, were a little more natural, but Morgan, as a four-year-old, took some tweaking to perfect, but in the end, I really felt like I could hear the four-year-old innocence and hope and love and I felt like it lined up so well with everything else in the story as she comes to terms with everything that happened and works through it in the only way she can--with help. 

Most of the references/callbacks in this one are super obvious, but there are a couple that are more subtle. There’s a small reference to that “you’re a mechanic, why don’t you just build something?” scene in IM3 where Harley gets Tony out of a panic attack, and to Harley’s dad leaving him. There’s also a reference to Peter’s uncle dying when he mentions that he’s “been through it before”. I also included a little bit of subtlety in reference to the fact that Pepper never actually changed her name to Stark, canonically, and added the emotional element of it in the epilogue. 

Each of the objects/memories that the three kids hold close has a lot of symbolism and intent behind them, and they fit in with the chapter titles. In “Every Picture Tells a Story”, Peter’s memories are in pictures because of the picture of him and Tony in Endgame that made Tony invent time travel (it totally made him invent time travel don’t even try to fight me on it). It represents that timeline of events where Tony really truly had a kid with him that he could love and cherish and who loved and cherished him back, but in a way that never needed words--just actions and photographs. In “Reminders of How it Used to Be”, Harley’s memories are in his phone through text messages, because he and Tony always connected technologically, even from a distance. They initially bonded over fixing the Iron Man suit, and the idea that Tony continued to upgrade Harley’s tech into his later years fits really well into their relationship. Even though they were far away, they learned how to express how much they cared for each other through words and objects. Lastly, in “No Hugs are as Warm as Yours” Morgan’s memories are in a recording of her Dad, because Morgan was the one that Tony truly got his time with--the one that was truly his to cherish and hold that he would never let go of. After Peter, and with Harley’s distance, Morgan was the one that Tony was determined to love with everything he had, and in doing this, he gave her a piece of him every day, and she could always hold him close to her heart and have him do all the special things with her that only he could do. The recording of him, that’s small enough to clutch to her, but big enough emotionally to represent everything her father did for her, and shows a tiny part of something that only her dad does--a lullaby her mom doesn’t sing, and a lullaby he’s never sung to anyone else--is a great representation of the piece of his soul that Tony gave to his daughter, just by being her dad. Maybe I tried to read too much into all of that, but I thought those subtle little representations were really crucial to this story. 

Another thing I love that I tried to break down is that everyone had a different name for Morgan. As the precious little one who just lost her dad, she’s kind of the center of this story, in a sense. Harley and Peter bond over helping her through her nightmare, and that brings the three of them closer. Morgan makes Peter and Harley smile in the dark times, and they do the same for her. Morgan had the most to lose from this, because Tony was, theoretically, the only one she had, but the message of the story winds up being that he wasn’t, because she has all of these other people in her family too. Because of that, there’s a nice subtlety that I had where everyone has a different nickname for her, because everyone contributes to her story and her life in a different way. Pepper’s nicknames/terms of endearment for her are sweetheart and little miss; however, “little miss” is one that Tony used to use, so Pepper only started using it after Tony died (so...in this story). Tony’s other nickname for her, canonically, is Morguna. Then, Peter’s nickname for her is Morgs, and Harley’s nickname for her is Mo. Most of those only really appear once, but it’s a cute little characterization thing that I worked hard to include. 

Lastly, another method of symbolism in the chapter titles is their lengths and, again, parallelism. I already talked about the second, third, and fourth chapter titles, all of which are a little shorter and represent the different object symbols for the kids and their connection to Tony, but I also added some symbolism and parallelism with the first and last chapter titles. Both of those titles, because those chapters have the perspectives of all three children, are longer and include parenthetical statements. Additionally, the first chapter title represents a lot more distance: “It’s Hard to Say Goodbye (To What You Want Forever”. This ties in not only to the fact that Tony’s gone, but also to the fact that, in the first chapter, while all three kids’ perspectives are included, they’re separate and apart. But then the last chapter title, “I Can’t Solve All Your Problems (But I Promise You Won’t Face Them Alone), represents togetherness, which is exactly how that chapter winds up playing out--all three perspsecitves collide, and they wind up helping each other through the grief. Symbolic titles are always fun.

To An Amazing Big Brother

This one is filled with subtle references. Sam leaves ScoobyDoo on for Dean, referenced as a favorite of his several times canonically. Sam also mentions how Dean checks under the bed every night, which was supposed to connect to the scene where Sam tells Dean that his dad said the monsters under the bed weren’t real and Dean told him it’s because he already checked there. Dean’s grumpiness over the lack of bacon is based off of two scenes: the one where Dean’s mad that Sam won’t let him get bacon, and the one where Sam’s mad that Dean won’t buy veggie bacon. The fact that Dean keeps the journal close for the next twenty-eight years is a reference to that photo of Mary that he’s had since he was a kid that he brings with them everywhere. Dean mentioning that Sam had grown up so much in three years is supposed to reference the many times in the show that Dean mentions that he wished Sam could’ve been a kid longer. The candy bars and the Hot Wheel car as his birthday gifts represent how Sam gives him “fuel” for Dean and Baby as gifts in the Christmas episode, and the fact that Sam mentions that Uncle Bobby helped him with it is a reference to Bobby giving Sam the Samulet to give to John in the Christmas episode, which he eventually gives to Dean. Lastly, the birthday pie represents the many, many times Dean says he loves pie. So I guess that all ties into symbolism, references, and callbacks/clues for future scenes, but in any case, there are a lot of them. 

The other thing that comes into this is the symbolism of the photo album. The fact that it’s something Bobby put together shows how Bobby was always a true father for them (at least, in my opinion, but, I mean, come on, he was), and the fact that it takes place over several years and very rarely actually has Bobby in the photo just represents how much he got to watch them grow and how much he was there for them. On top of that, it represents Sam and Dean’s brotherly relationship for two reasons: first of all, it shows how they grew up together and basically never left each other’s side; second of all, the message Sam writes, “Thanks for always being there for me. I know I can always count on you.”, is a huge representation of everything Supernatural is and stands for when it comes to Sam and Dean’s relationship--they can always count on each other, no matter what. 

The Meaning of Christmas

There isn’t really that much in this one, but I did want to mention that I put a lot of research into making the locations as realistic as possible, so Ellen’s Stardust Diner and 7th Avenue are both real streets in NY popular for Christmas shows and Christmas lights, respectively. I don’t live in NY, so I don’t know how accurate any of that was, but I tried my best, and I feel like it worked. 

Training Session

This one doesn’t have anything too deep overall, but it does include a couple of Endgame references and one from Ant-Man. Morgan and Nat’s training with practicing punching was meant to loosely reference the Ant-Man training session between Hope and Scott--with the failed attempt, but slowly getting better. Harley and Clint training--with Clint adjusting Harley’s footing, Harley making it dead center, and Clint high-fiving him--were all references to Clint and his daughter shooting arrows in Endgame. Lastly, while this is pretty obviously an Endgame reference, Morgan does say “I (still) love you 3000”, and Tony says it back, so there is that. XD 

Wow! This was honestly kind of hard to break down, but also really fun! I’ve definitely gotten better at symbolism and references in recent months--most of these were a lot more recent, especially the ones with loads of commentary XD--but in general, I think my character development in pretty good, and I still try to incorporate as many things as I can, subtle or otherwise.

Drift: The Icewing boyfriend of Fierceclaws. He's a real cutie but I haven't properly made any posts on him yet. I really love him though.

Hickory: (named after the hickory tiger moth. Honestly a little shaky on that name still but it's growing on me.) She's a Beetlewing from the time of Clearsight in Pantala. She's actually not too pleased with the changes that Clearsight is trying to make around those parts. (She was birthed from the idea of not everybody being excited about worshipping a new dragon who came out of nowhere.) I've actually mentioned her once before when I talked about an OC of mine with extreme opinions that gets a little controversial. Haven't looked at her in a while sadly.

Dreamseeker: A Nightwing born a couple of hundred years after canon. She's a pretty famous bard who travels all over Pyrrhia. Honestly I just loved the idea of a dragon bard. I actually have some decent concept art of her somewhere....

River: Born a Princess to the Rainwings, River was never happy in her- his scales. Luckily for him he met a certain Nightwing bard and started traveling with her. They fall in love and it's adorable....

Okay if you didn't get what I was saying River is trans. Honestly it didn't start out that way but as I wrote the character he kind of took a life of his own. Man I need to come back to these guys. They're adorable!

For this one there's a whole cast so I'm not going to go into it.

But yeah. Those are my bigger OCs.

Rainforest: Favorite villain?

Darkstalker. Surprise, surprise.

Jade Mountain: Which character is the most like you?

Probably Blue. At least on a base level. I immediately felt for the whole getting into someone elses head and think about what they must be feeling.

I'd get in trouble for this after losing a game of basketball, for feeling happy for the other team for winning. But I have a sarcastic edge now so I guess I am Blue with a pinch of Glory. LOL

Pantala: Third times the charm. Haha. I would be a Silkwing and my name would be Swallowtail. I'd have the coloring of an old world swallowtail butterfly.
