This is actually a good deal- 2 A-frames (pyramids) for the price of one, and they're under $300k. The homes are surprisingly roomy inside and need a little clean-up and some work, but I think it's a bargain. 14 bedrooms(!), 6 baths, 4,280 sq ft + 10.32 acres of land, $279,900.

There's a deck going around the house, plus the 2 decorative cement balls. This could look cool w/some landscaping.

That green stove! The cabinets are sturdy and the sink is in the permanent island. The kitchen is surprisingly large.

And, look at the size of the pantry.

They're in the process of packing up, but this is a cute little wood stove in the living room.

There's a small half bath on the 1st level.

There's a built-in bed and some cabinets, but it needs some work.

Bath with a double sink.

This unfinished room looks like it could be a closet.

It's listed as a single family house, but this large, multi-level deck joins the 2 structures, and there's also a canopy connecting them.

It's a little confusing, b/c several of the 14 bedrooms are in this building. They must be for guests. Looks like it may have been some sort of a camp or retreat at one time, b/c there's a cross on one of the buildings,

But, these rooms actually look occupied.

The bedrooms in the A-frames look pretty big and they don't have slanted walls.

The photos are all jumbled and at terrible angles, but this is the 2nd house. You can see that it has a large kitchen area and living room combo.

The kitchen has a cute vintage stove.

I would say that each A-frame has at least 2 bedrooms.

With over 10 acres of land, there's lots of potential.

In 2017, American film researchers recovered “Something Good – Negro Kiss,” a short film depicting a playful kiss between a Black couple which had not seen the light of day for more than a century. A long-forgotten artifact from the earliest years of American film, the sweet, humanizing vignette, produced by the Selig Polyscope Company, makes a startling contrast to the overwhelmingly racist and blackface-ridden contempory portrayals of African Americans. Four years later in 2021, archivists in Norway, halfway across the world, identified a sister short in their collections—an extended alternate cut which reveals more of Chicago stage performers Gertie Brown and Saint Suttle’s vaudeville-like routine, a theatrical, hot-and-cold romantic dynamic between two lovers which parodies the popular and controversial short “The Kiss” (1896). Both films, which had previously been lost, were known from entries in old motion picture catalogs but had been assumed to be era-typical, anti-Black “race films” until their rediscovery in the 21st century. Together with its more famous sibling, which has since been inducted into the Library of Congress’ National Film Registry, this alternate version of “Something Good” represents the first-known instance of Black intimacy ever captured on-screen.

Why is this home so cheap? It's an A-Frame in Manson, IA, 2bds, 4ba, 2,299 sq ft, $139,900. I think that it may be b/c it needs a lot of work. It's kind of rough inside. Take a look at it, it's an interesting home.

The home is very large, and a bit funky. The living room has a kitchen tucked into the corner.

These outdated cabinets seem a little odd- they look like they're floating in air- and they've been painted in shades of blue. A fireplace caps off the kitchen cabinets.

It's a very angular space.

Down this hall to the left, there's a laundry room/bath.

Interesting. Original harvest gold fixtures.

I'm guessing that this is a very small bedroom.

The bedrooms get weirder. This one has a built-in desk and stairs. Not sure where they go.

Then, there's this bedroom. Maybe the mattress was on the platform b/c the carpet on the stairs is worn clean thru.

I'm so confused by this house.

Looks like a closet for this room, so maybe it's the primary bedroom.

And, it also opens to this sort of sun room.

This is interesting. Is it a bar? Sliders open to a small knotty pine room.

Then, here we have a catwalk.

Another bedroom.

It's safe to say that this room has an ensuite.

The lower level is very large and has a kitchenette in the corner.

The rec room also features a stone wall and a half bath. There's a dampness problem down here- note the hose leading from the dehumidifier.

Cellar next to the garage.

Nice deck with built-in seating.

There's a barn in the backyard. The lot is .40 acre.
