Rivalry: Having a more formal rivalry would be interesting. A bit of a change in dynamics. Does Alastor own Niffty's soul? Or is she also a business partner, like Husk is?

Velvette: I don't have any strong feelings toward Velvette, so I personally don't care to redeem her. If you want to give her that arc, you can certainly go for it. Just remember that she is a pretty rotten person, so don't make it easy for her.

Vox: So is Vox more shark than TV in your version? I'd actually be interested in seeing someone play up his shark side and downplay the TV. I totally ignored the shark aspect in my au, because I wanted to lean into his more distinctive TV traits. Mixing the two was too convoluted for me.

Is Vox actually upset that Val is killed? Is it just an inconvenience? Or is he just annoyed that he lost an asset? or does he mostly just use it as a way to criticize Charlie and the hotel?

Valentino: I'm not sure if this is to Valentino's credit, or the discredit of sinners, but porn has always been popular. So I don't think it's only because of Vox and Velvette that he's successful. He's a significant threat in his own right. But Vox does control media, and Val needs a platform, otherwise he'd just be running a typical prostitution business. Velvette is relatively new, and I think it's because of her alliance with Vox that she became so popular so quickly. Vox and Val were definitely successful before, but saw an opportunity for more with her on their side.

Ah, so the angels just struggle to relate to humans. They believe in redemption, but can't seem to encourage people to try it, because they come across as self-righteous and judgmental.

Michael questioned,"Just now, and I need you to hold that duffle a little bit like you care. " You snap. Michael grumbles and throws the duffle bag over his shoulder a little better. You smile and quicken your pace, You swiftly turn the corner and see the Bitty auction going on many MANY people raising their money in the air and trying to get...ONE BITTY! You groaned,but still it was a Bitty and it look...very weak like it wasn't being taken care of properly Michael had a look of sad in his eyes for a minute before handing You the dufflebag and floated through the busy crowd You groand and waited behind as yourself didn't want to start a fight or anything to cause a commotion You heard people yell and shout "Sounds like a fucking riot-" Before you finished your sentence a brick hit your head you screamed in pain no one stopping to see if you were okay not even Michael.......

You frantically screamed Michael's name before You were picked up by a floating humanoid person which you had recognized as Michael but with bits of blood on his clothes You opened your mouth to say something but Michael stop you "everything went well the bag and everything in one piece now let's get out of here and take care of you at home" he said while carefully picking you up and walking away "did you get the Bitty?..." Michael said, approaching Your apartment he then opend the apartment door and set you down on the couch and start to take everything out of the bag You turned your head only to see that the Bitty was most definitely drugged you wanted to cry right on the spot but you held back. Michael could tell by the way that you look you wanted to cry on someone shoulder and he knew that feeling all to well he put his focus back onto the Bitty and getting it all settle into the apartment after that is done he walks to you seeing you wipe some tears that have fallen lose from your eyes he felt the pain you felt for the Bitty he sighed and gave you hug allowing you to either pull away or fully hug him and then seconds later you find yourself crying into Michael shoulder you hated the way that this town has treated Bitty for the bast 5 years you’ve tried to help as many Bittys as possible but you were either to late or the Bitty was far from alive and this is the only time that you have succeeded in taking a Bitty that isn’t….dead or you were to late you had so many mixed emotions you didn’t know what to feel the Bitty start to awake for it drugged slumber you want to get up and cheer but right now your head hurt and you didn’t want to scare the bitty anymore then it already is.

You explained the bitty had woke up a little while ago the Bitty was missing and the bitty goes by Fell or Red for what he had told you "Them cops are fuckers they ain't gonna ever change..." Fell mumbled You cradled Red in your hands he had been shivering for quiet a while and rolling him up into a little tiny blanket like a burrito was the best and fastest way you could warm him up without him losing heat in your hands. You had some left over bitty clothes from your pervious attempts Michael had finally calmed down enough to make some food for the three of you and it was something simple just some noodles, Alfredo chicken, broccoli bits, carrots, and some chopped up onions and plated the ingredients together for You, Michael, and Red. The three of you started eating dinner that was prepared by Michael, and by the food gods, was it good.

You starts to worry it was around 9:00 a'clock and Fell haven't fallen asleep he was shivering You gave him a heated weighted blanket it was pretty warm by your standards but he was still shivering. You started to think that Feel was starting to dislike his stay at your apartment Michael knew what the problem was but You being the stubborn ass you were wanted to figure out the problem without cause any more damage to the problem then there already is Michael has floated over to you and leaned close to you "he has separation problem you fucking idiot he terrified that he'll get taken by thises drug hobos again moves his little DIY bed to your bed I'll be there in a minute" he mumbled to you and floated back to the kitchen to gather some things You sighed of relief and slowly and carefully picked up Red and his mini DIY bed and walked up the stairs Fell had curled up to your neck his shaking had stop almsot immediately he had some little rubber ducky PJ'S on he tryed to bites you when you try putting them on him at first but then he slowly leaned into the design of thr PJ and realized they weren't to bad to sleep in you opened your bedroom door and had layed Red and his blanket and pillow onto your bed his DIY on your dresser you curled up onto the bed securing Fell by cupping his backside with your hand making sire he wouldn't fall off the bed Michael soon came up to the bedroom with his ha dmade Link sword....-

With the conversation coming to a close the three of you settle into the bed and fall asleep the only reason that you and Michael share a bed is because well Michael dosent live with you he has his own place but he mostly stays at your place is refuses to place a mattress on the floor or in the gues bedroom that's still needs remodeling.

I've seen people against C/A argue that Catra reminds them of abusive ex experiences they've had, and that people who ship it do not care at all about Adora's feelings but just Catra's. What are your thoughts on this? (I personally ship them, but I do try to listen to people's takes when they're not being just outright lesbophobic or misogynistic *side-eyes twitter*)

Fun fact, Catra also reminds me of an abusive ex I had! Okay that’s not actually fun, but it’s a fact. And you know what made the ex abusive? Serious untreated trauma and mental disorders - she has borderline personality disorder, and a LOT of the ways Catra acts reminds me of the way my ex acted, which is part of why I headcanon that Catra has BPD.

And yeah, it’s bad, the way Catra acts sometimes is BAD, and I’m not excusing her. But I literally see so much of my ex in Catra, and you know what? It’s been six years since we broke up, and we’re friends now. She got treatment, she got out of the circumstances that were causing her to lash out, and she got BETTER. If we were in a TV show, I’d call that a fairly successful redemption arc. And keep in mind that we were TOGETHER. Catra and Adora were friends before the war, but they were never romantically involved.

Also, Adora makes her feelings quite clear. In Taking Control she draws the line, she tells Catra that if she wants to keep acting like this, then she’s done. She puts the onus on Catra to take a step and make a change, and she does. And that’s when things start shifting into a more actively romantic situation - like yes, we all know there was pining and Feelings while they were on separate sides of the war. And it would be a COMPLETELY different story if they had been dating before the war. But all of the feelings stuff comes AFTER Catra starts trying to change. 

Honestly, I think the fandom does Adora a disservice by acting like she’s just a helpless victim. She DOES fight back against Catra, she DOES make her feelings known, and she DOES draw those boundaries. She’s ready to walk away until she sees a tiny spark of the Catra she used to know, the Catra from before they were Force Captain and She-Ra, and even from before they were cadets. The Catra who reaches for Adora and trusts her, trying to rebuild that bridge. Adora makes an active choice to forgive Catra and give her another chance. If people who don’t ship C/A want to talk about ignoring Adora’s feelings, they can just look in a mirror ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I haven’t seen anyone talking about this. There’s a difference between ghosting and cutting someone out of your life. When you cut someone out of your life, you tell them why and then drop contact with them and this is perfectly fine. Its okay to want mean awful people out of your life, just tell them why first.

Ghosting is when someone just disappears with no explanation, and they do it on purpose to hurt others and to avoid conflict, and that is not okay.

okay I am legit so happy that because of the audio being made public so many people have been changing their minds! So many people have been able to look at the evidence and see the logical and true explanation and it just makes me happy that the truth is coming out.

Her lies are becoming undone and I am incredibly thankful that she will no longer be just another abuser that gets away with it

Dear J’goro,

I’m learning more about boundaries. 

I understand this is a huge change, a lengthy process beyond my feeble imagining. However, I also understand that the more I attempt to grasp the concept, the closer I will come to actually doing so. I will be able to finally define the majority of my boundaries, and therefore understand myself better as a person.

I’ve begun putting up boundaries in places they were not before, and an interesting side effect has occurred. I will elaborate on that later. 

For instance, there’s someone in my history who’s hurt my feelings so badly that I recall the date and time she did it. It ruined my day and, honestly, had me crying intermittently for weeks afterward. Imagine how I felt when I saw her show up at my campus. Of all available colleges, why this one? A myriad of emotions suddenly erupt from whatever depthless ravine they’re stored in within me. Hurt, anger, but fear over them all. I find myself subconsciously walking way out of my path to avoid her, feeling negative and scared for hours afterward, paranoid. Jumpy.

I tried erecting a boundary for myself. There’s a knowledge that this is public space. If she tries to hurt me again, it will be in front of many, many people, most of whom I know. This is my territory. She’s seen me assist in the hosting of her induction to the campus! She knows, absolutely, that I am here. If she’s showing herself, she must have come to peace with the fact that we need to coexist. I don’t only not need to succumb to my fearful familiarity; I just need to treat her as if she were anyone else.

I do have this pulling urge to “make things right”, see “if things are better now”, “apologize”, but I did absolutely nothing to cause her to act as she did. There is no recovery without her initiation, and she wants to sit there like a b*tch and attempt to match the beauty of every human around when she herself is a seething pile of venom, hatred, and self-loathing.

The point is, I learned to deal with it. I walked by her today, within feet, and ignored. Paid no attention. This is the way it will have to be until she changes it.

Another was a coworker. I care about him very much, maybe too much for my own good. You can imagine, J’goro, how difficult it was for me to admit he’d humiliated me, and notify him directly.

It wasn’t a big deal, it was the setting. Someone humiliating you in front of your friends (I won’t go into detail, as the memory of unpleasant things is hardly worthy of elaboration,) is alright, but in front of a new group is something I’m not comfortable with. I set a boundary with him as well, using an “I feel” statement, as I was told to do.

I felt like a child, telling him. If it had been in person, I might have cried. I almost did through the voice message. It’s silly, I know- I just... really have a certain care for people, their emotions, that I can’t always handle. If he were to be angry, or worse, saddened by the revelation, it would have been worse on me than it would have been just taking the hit. This is the ultimate empathy. It’s more of a curse than a blessing, but I suppose that depends on how it’s used. 

I may seem alien in the way I write, think, and act, but I wasn’t raised in the same social environment most people were. I was destined to be a little more than eccentric.

I will not change that aspect. It’s a part of me. However, I will learn how to deal with it properly.

What if Kevin found out his assistant was disabled somehow? Like even though he's friendly with them I'm pretty sure he'd tell strex. And they'd be 'fixed'.

You are perfect, so imperfectly perfect. Kevin knows this from the moment he meets you, lays empty eyes on you.

He knows this.

He loves everything about you to make you the person you are, his mate, his friend, his everything. To him you are already wonderful, already everything that he can ask for and thensome.

You. Are. Perfect.

Anyone who tries to tell him otherwise is met with vehemenant denial, with thinly veiled threats of bloody, painful violence nipping at their thoughts long after they're out of Kevin's presence.

He...does not agree when StexCorp supervisors try to tell him that you're less than perfect in their empty, soulless eyes.

Maybe you can't walk. Maybe you can't see or speak, maybe still you can't process words and numbers correctly or your brain works a little differently from his own. Maybe you're in constant pain or even still, maybe your emotions and how they function are a mystery even to yourself--maybe there are days that you can't bring yourself to smile, even at him.

Maybe several of these things.

The first person to tell Kevin that you need to be 'fixed' was found dead in his own apartment. The second was also found dead, but this time in one of the radio stations meeting rooms. The third, well...

Nobody tried to tell Kevin that you needed to be 'fixed' after the third attempt.

Because you're perfect, you don't need 'fixing', you...you are just you and that's all Kevin wants. Whether its through fate or birth, action or inaction, you are imperfectly perfect and someone that Kevin loves-- deeply, passionately loves to the pit of his empty heart and existence.

You still bring him happiness. You still have value in the world. You still have talents and hopes and dreams and everything else a person has. Fuck productivity, fuck quotas, fuck....fuck anything that tells him otherwise.

You...you are the way you are, and maybe, just maybe, Kevin begins to realize a truth that time, abuse and manipulation has hidden deep inside of his thoughts. If the company can be so wrong about you...what else are they wrong about?

StrexCorp will not change you. They will not 'fix' you. They will not touch you.

Because you are already perfect.
