AI Beast Review: Pros and Cons
Pros:
Time-Saving Potential: Automation features could free up valuable time for other business tasks.
Learning Foundation: Training modules might provide a solid base in affiliate marketing principles.
Content Creation Jumpstart: High-quality, niche-specific done-for-you content could expedite initial content development.
Cons:
In fact, I haven’t found any additional AI Beast issues.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)
Q. Is AI Beast truly automated, or does it require manual work?
AI Beast promotes automation tools, but the level of true automation remains a question. You’ll likely need to provide oversight and input for content creation, social media management, and campaign optimization.
Q. Does AI Beast guarantee success in affiliate marketing?
Unfortunately, no program can guarantee success in affiliate marketing. Success depends on factors like niche selection, marketing strategy, effort, and market conditions. AI Beast can provide tools and training, but results ultimately rely on your dedication and execution.
Q. What kind of content does AI Beast offer as “done-for-you”?
The quality and relevance of done-for-you content are crucial. It’s important to understand if the content is well-written, optimized for search engines, and specifically tailored to your chosen niche and promoted affiliate products.
Q. Is AI Beast a scam, or is it a legitimate program?
AI Beast is not inherently a scam, but its claims of complete automation and guaranteed success should be approached with caution. The program’s value hinges on the quality of training and the effectiveness of its AI tools.
Q. Are there any alternatives to AI Beast?
Absolutely! Numerous resources exist for learning affiliate marketing, including free and paid courses, ebooks, and communities. Additionally, many marketing tools offer automation features without the “done-for-you” approach.
AI Beast Review: My Recommendation
Affiliate marketing is done in a structured way with AI Beast training courses and AI tools that make the process easier. But the program’s usefulness depends on how well it is trained and how well its AI features really work. For people who are just starting out, AI Beast’s basic training might be helpful. Don’t get too excited about robots, though. Affiliate marketing success takes ongoing work and smart planning. Before you agree, carefully compare the program’s features and price to those of other tools. Remember that the key to success in affiliate marketing is a good education, hard work, creating content, and planning your marketing strategies. AI Beast could be a part of your journey with partner marketing.

The preview for next week nooooooooooo 😭😭😭
Although I will say, there seem to be two different categories of dreams happening here: the dreams where something floats and the ones where Ai has a horrifying vision of Yu's death.
After this week, I tend to agree with @pharawee that the floaty object dreams are anxiety dreams. Ai has them when there's something weighing on his mind and that's been pretty consistent so far. He had one when he started feeling more for Yu than just friendship, when Yu up and disappeared on them, when he was worried about telling his family and friends about his relationship with Yu, and now with this situation with Pan.
The death vision dreams are a different beast. They could also be fueled by fear and anxiety (of losing Yu specifically) but we don't quite know why they're happening. All we know is that they stopped when Ai and Yu's relationship began progressing and that trying to alter the vision has always resulted in Ai taking the hit instead of Yu. But based on the preview, how the dreams play out has changed.

Something In The Orange
Chapter 12
Summary:
The Matthews family take you and Charles to their cabin in Big Valley for a winter vacation.
Notes:
Y'all I am SO SORRY for how long this chapter has taken.
I hit some major burnout over the last few months. So much so that I've actually been put on short-term disability leave from work. I'm starting to feel a bit better and I've been able to do more writing, but I'm still pretty worn out if I'm honest.
As always, this chapter was written entirely on my phone, so any weird typos, autocorrect words, etc you can blame on my phone haha.
Anyway I hope I haven't lost all of you who've been here since the beginning.
As always below is a little preview. Read the whole chapter and the entire work (so far) on AO3
Reminder: You must be logged in to an AO3 account to read my works as I've had to lock them down to protect from AI Scraping.
Tumblr media
~~~~~~
You couldn't help but smile as you examined the three pins on your Christmas stocking. Three Christmas seasons with the Matthews family, each marked with a little pin. The silver horse-drawn sleigh from the first year. Then a little mouse sleeping next to a piece of cheese with a bow from the second year. And this year was a cowgirl boot and hat dusted in snow.
Christmas was a month ago, of course. Hosea hadn't had time to take down the stockings. Or all the lights. Or the menorah. But you were actually kind of glad about that. It was nice to see the cheerful sight, even in late January.
Going back to campus after the winter holidays this year had been awful. You tried your best to be a good student, to get excited for your classes and get right back into studying. But you found your thoughts drifting more and more to your beloved. Wondering what he was doing. Missing his sweet voice, his herbal scent, his long cock. It had been torture.
Monday was a bank holiday, meaning the high schools and the universities had a three-day weekend. So Friday afternoon you and Arthur drove up to Firwood Rise to pick up Hosea, John, and the horses to go on a little weekend trip. The plan was to go out to a cabin Hosea and Dutch shared out in Big Valley, West Elizabeth.
Aside from a couple ranches, it was still mostly wild, and even in the winter the trail rides were unforgettable. Or so Arthur said. This was your first expedition with the Matthews men out to this cabin. You'd never been to Big Valley, but it was legendary for the beautiful, natural scenery.
Charles was going to meet you at the cabin early Saturday morning, since he had a late class on Friday. His old beat-up truck was a beast when it came to snowy mountain roads, so you weren't worried. And then the lot of you would spend the weekend trail riding, maybe doing some snow sports, just having a good time.
So that's how you found yourself standing in the Matthews living room, smiling at the stockings while the others loaded up the truck. You could hear John and Arthur yelling out in the yard as John backed the truck up to the horse trailer to hitch up. Occasionally Hosea's voice would cut in if the two got too close to an argument as John insisted he could do it while Arthur was adamant he was doing it wrong. Typical of the two brothers.
You heard the truck turn off, and the driver door open. “Told you I had it covered,” John's voice echoed just loud enough that you could hear from inside. You couldn't make out Arthur's retort, but based on the way John began to snap back, only to be cut off by Hosea’s sharp scolding, you could only imagine it was more brotherly banter.
The door opened a moment later. “Those boys,” Hosea tutted, stepping into the house, looking a little irritated, cheeks rosy from the cold. His face softened when he spotted you, and he shut the door behind him, glancing out the window to make sure John and Arthur weren't near before stepping toward you and pulling you into his arms.
“Hey,” you murmured, tilting your head up expectantly.
“Hi,” he whispered before granting your request for a kiss. “I've missed you.”
“I missed you too.” You nuzzled against his chest, the fabric of his jacket cold from the winter chill, but the warmth of him underneath still seeping through.
“The boys are loading up the horses and then we'll be good to go.” Hosea hummed.
“Okay,” you said, stepping back. “Before we go, I need your help with something.”
“Oh?” He asked. You jerked your head towards the stairs, gesturing for him to follow you. Once upstairs you led him to the bathroom, pulling him in and locking the door behind you.
“Dove, it'll only take a few minutes for the boys to get the horses loaded.” Hosea chuckled, immediately clocking what your intentions were.
“Five horses. It'll take them at least ten minutes right? Probably more.” You mumbled, guiding him backwards until he was pinned between you and the sink.
“Something like that,” he sighed as your hands settled on his waist. “The horses are all pretty good at loading.”
“That's enough time for what I have planned.”
Devstream 179 Notes
Thank you for your patience as I get this out about a week late; I've had multiple family obligations the past few weeks which have, alas, cut into my warframe time.
Tumblr media
Apparently the Stug is a Top Gear reference (Kaz is wearing a motorcycle helmet and doesn't speak for a good 20 minutes, it's actually kind of annoying) A new devstream face on the left: Nikita, principal weapons artist!
1999 Hype Dripfeed
(to catch up those unaware: first referenced in last year's tennocon, and barely begun in the Whispers in the Walls update, Warframe 1999 is the game's "next chapter," unexpectedly taking place during what seems to be the age of the apple II and Y2K, featuring "protoframes" and the good works of Nine Inch Nails.)
Tennocon 2024 merch is retro 1999 and awesome: the physical merch pack includes a very cool USB key, and the digital pack includes a dope syandana
YAY the Aoi teaser, it is absolutely worth rewatching
Concept art for Arthur, Aoi, PINK ATOMICYCLE!
Tumblr media
Protea Prime next this week
Protea Prime herself and her awesome trailer have come out since I took these notes, so I'm just going to link the prime access trailer and website promo instead of my usual preview descriptions. Definitely watch the trailer, it's....inspiring. We've had such banging soundtracks for the prime trailers lately!
May 15 "Interim" Update:
Will bring next season of Nightwave; the current season will end on that day, and the next will start two hours later (on the same day; how nice, I hate waiting that extra week). Comes with a set of "daybreak" skins for the nukor, glaive, kubrows (?), and the ✨CEDO✨(my Lavos bias comes through)
Some tennogen skins, nice to see skins for less represented boys Revenant and Baruuk. There will be another batch of tennogen in the Jade Shadows that includes a skin for Lavos (hype).
💚 Update 36: Jade Shadows💚
Lore focusing on the Stalker coming from a Post-TNW perspective
I got really excited because Rebb used "they" for the Stalker (who I think has always previously been he/himd?)
Jade: the 57th warframe! She's somewhat but not wholly angelic: light is the theme, but there is "choral flavour." Pablo describes her kit as "support and debuffing enemies"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Honestly I think her wings are giving more Peacock
They wanted to include more direct visual inspiration on the Stalker's weapons but they were determined "too edgy" lol. But they're still Stalker-inspired. She has Evensong (Jade!Dread, which I'm especially excited for), Cantare (Jade!Despair, which I hope has better stats than the OG), and Harmony (Jade!Hate)
The Stalker has a Landing Craft Skin called "Terror." Which is very cohesive with the rest of the Stalker aesthetic.
Operation: Belly of the Beast: A clan operation that will launch with Jade Shadows.
There's a new eximus :( the Jade Light Eximus :( "Parvos Granum is up to something" 😨
also Yareli Deluxe is a thing
As an aside, Kaz, freed from the Stug bit, is rocking the Gideon Nav energy 😎
Tumblr media
Another helping of QOL:
Adjusting the "rubber" necks of frames: "Warframes aren't prey, they're predators".
Tumblr media
Alchemy in the circuit! As an enjoyer of both the alchemy game mode and the circuit (and not a fan of its defense or assassination), this is welcome for me!
Apparently the AI level changes are important for crossplay; "a bouquet of QOL" that will bring a better experience for many.
Medical debt bond drop rates adjusting includes a replacement for the credits reward in bounties. and there was much rejoicing.
Here Comes Pablo's Rant: impending enemy scaling & status effects rework
As with all of Pablo's mechanics overviews, I recommend watching (or reading) this yourself if you want a deeper look. He's always very informative.
"A lot of this may change" off to a great start
Devs are considering adding a damage cap for enemy armor and adjusting the damage resistance function of armor. reasoning: armor strip should be a viable strategy but not an absolute requirement for higher level play.
Status type mechanics will be simplified: type effectiveness bonuses are now going to be by faction instead of by flesh/armor/shield material -> with exceptions:: Kuva Grineer, Amalgam Corpus, Deimos Infested
Buffing some less used status effects: Cold will now fully freeze enemies, which doubles crit bonus Gas will be more visible visually (but mechanically the same) Magnetic…will depend on how the shield rework goes (yay playtesting). Blast "will be blasty." I've been hoping for a Blast buff for AGES so I'm excited to see what we get from that admittedly very vague teaser.
You can tell he knows the fanbase is already going to flame him for even coming close to nerfing viral/heat/slash, because he said several times they are not being altered. We love you Pablo.
Semi-auto weapons are going to have automatic (not needing to re-click) shooting mode, but (similarly with the shield gating rework last year) you'll be able to keep your semiautomatic flavour with a new mod that disables this new functionality in exchange for a big buff. Effectively replacing Shred with another high-damage, high-punch-through mod.
Key art is from Warframe's official devstream overview; stream screenshots are my own.
First image: a digital painting of a fantasy scene of a green skinned person with a beast of burden discovering two mushroom people who are also shocked to see her. A floating island hovers in the sky, which is split into bright gold and pink on the left and a deep blue purple on the right. There is an ocean below, and two islands with mountainous dead coral jutting out of them. The mushroom people stand in front of this dark, shadowy landscape, hiding just behind a thicket of trees. Conversely, the woman and her beast stand in a brightly lit grassland, looking through the thicket as if it is a gateway to another world.
Second image: a detail of the first image, showcasing a close up of the mushroom people and their tiny little faces. Bleached coral peaks out from behind the bushes in the thicket.
Third image: a detail of the first image, showcasing a close up of the green woman and her beast. She is carrying a walking stick in one hand, and pulling her hat off her head with the other. The hat is a disc made out of dried grasses and decorated with beads. She is wearing red shorts, an orange tank top with blue trim, and a leather backpack. Her hair and clothes are also decorated with beads in yellow, orange, and red. The creature with her has a tapir like face, orange goat eyes, and boar like tusks. It is wearing orange and blue barding and leather saddle bags.
end id]
I painted a new phone background for myself and decided to test the free anti-ai software Glaze on it. It creates a subtle texture that makes it harder for ai learning to steal. I think my settings were low intensity, slower render quality. My take away from the first time using it was that the preview is a lot rougher and more visible than the slow render of the same intensity. I hope that made sense.
Cover Reveal – Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/cover-reveal-avatar-frontiers-of-pandora/
Cover Reveal – Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora
Tumblr media
Massive Entertainment is best known as the team behind Tom Clancy’s The Division, but it’s tackling a different beast in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. This open-world action game unfolds in a new section of James Cameron’s wildly successful Avatar universe, and this new chapter in the mythos graces Game Informer’s cover this month.
We visited Massive’s studio in Malmö, Sweden, to play a couple of hours of the game set in the Kinglor Forest, one of Frontier’s three regions. Our 12-page story also includes an exclusive breakdown of the game’s other two regions, the Upper Plains and the Clouded Forest, which we got to tour during our visit. We interviewed the game’s key design leads to learn how Frontiers of Pandora came to be, what it was like working with James Cameron’s production studio Lightstorm, and get answers to some of the burning questions surrounding the game. Be sure to also visit our coverage hub by clicking the banner below as we’ll have exclusive online features and videos throughout the month.
Our cover art features the game’s customizable protagonist alongside their ikran taking the fight to the RDA.
Tumblr media
The Game Informer Gold cover features the same cover image with “Game Informer” in flashy, metallic gold. Each Gold issue is numbered, too, making it even more special for collectors.
Tumblr media
Issue 361 is chock full of exciting features. With the 10th anniversary of indie hit Papers, Please, Luis Aguasviva writes a retrospective on the game’s impact, including reflections from designer Lucas Pope on its increased relevance a decade later. Grant Stoner shines a light on accessibility in the fighting game scene. Shannon Liao details the beneficial and detrimental impact of the growing influence of AI on game development. Wesley LeBlanc provides a detailed recap of the now-completed Microsoft/Activision Blizzard acquisition. And, of course, we have our annual holiday buyer’s guide as December looms ever closer.
Previews include detailed looks at Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, Frostpunk 2, and Crimson Desert. Plus, you can read reviews for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Sonic Superstars, Jusant, Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, and more!
You can also try to nab a Game Informer Gold version of the issue. Limited to a numbered print run per issue, this premium version of Game Informer isn’t available for sale. To learn about places where you might be able to get a copy, check out our official Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, BlueSky, and Threads accounts and stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks. Click here to read more about Game Informer Gold.
Print subscribers can expect their issues to arrive in the coming weeks. The digital edition launches later today for PC/Mac, iOS, and Google Play. Print copies will be available for purchase in the coming weeks at GameStop.
<< In May 1933, Popular Science previewed the dawn of animatronics, covering a prototype bound for the 1934 Chicago World’s Fair. The beast in question was not prehistoric, did not stalk its prey, and had no teeth to bare, but it could moo, wink its eyes, chew its cud, and even squirt a glassful of milk. The robotic cow may have been World’s Fair-worthy in 1933, but by 1935, Brooklyn inventor Milton Tenenbaum upped the stakes when he introduced a life-like mechanical dummy that, according to Popular Science, was known for “singing, smoking, drinking, and holding an animated conversation.” Tenenbaum proposed using such robots for “animated movie cartoons.” Although Hollywood was slow to adopt mooing cows and smoking dummies, Tenenbaum may have been crystal-balling the animatronics industry that eventually propelled blockbuster films like Jaws, Jurassic Park, and Aliens. Alas, with the advent of AI-generated movies, like Waymark’s The Frost, released in March 2023, animatronic props may be doomed to extinction. >>
Are you ready to reimagine your entire industry vertical proposition? Jason will explain the ins and outs of industry pages, their role in content marketing, and - more importantly - how optimizing content around the pain points and direct needs of your customers is more relevant now in B2B marketing than ever before.
Dwarf Fortress Guide & Walkthrough
Tumblr media
Welcome to our Dwarf Fortress Guide & Walkthrough. A plain-speak guide for folks starting a new Dwarf Fortress. We know that there are people who have a hard time finishing the Dwarf Fortress game. If you are one of those who find it difficult to finish the game, let's take you to our Dwarf Fortress guide. #DwarfFortress
Dwarf Fortress Guide & Walkthrough
A plain-speak guide for folks starting a new Dwarf Fortress. World Generation
Tumblr media
Step one will be to create a world. The menu is all very straightforward here. I find the following settings are usually exciting & not too slow to make: Medium World 100 years Medium civs High & of sites Beasts & Savagery should be to your taste, I like both Very High. Mineral Occurence: Frequent is pretty good. This will generate around 60,000-100,000 individual alive (The survivors of 100 years of terrible history) NPCs with entire lifespans, goals, victories and defeats, struggles and memories which shape their personality and their social interactions. This has a gameplay effect on the simulation of their mood as well. All that should generate in about a minute. Now, when your world is generated you can preview it and choose to save it. Once the world is saved, you're also able to view it in Legends mode from the main menu. This allows you to read the histories of the realm. I love the new Legends viewer! Embark This section is about choosing an Embark site and provisions.
Tumblr media
When you enter the embark screen you'll be offered a Tutorial. I haven't played it yet, this is about choosing a site. Right away, you can click "Find Embark Location" to search for somewhere with "NO" aquifers of any kind. Anything else is to your taste or can be left alone to quickly take a look. The search will sluggishly (progress shown) return green-colored areas of success. TIP: From this point, you can to quickly close any windows or views. Recommend: * Rivers are great for water and fish. * You can settle between two biomes or more, for more ores below! * 4x4 area recommended for performance * Choose your Starting Civilization, it will show you where they are too. When you place your embark rectangle, next you'll be offered to Quick Start or prep carefully. Both are fine. Preparing Carefully In this mode you can Name your fort and group, create a symbol, and skill your 7 starter dwarves. Assigning skillpoints: - Professions can be intermingled with some caveats. - Need: a Woodcutter, a Miner (Keep them separate for AI Logic reasons) - Need: a Cook, a Brewer, a Butcher - Need: an Herbalist, a Planter (they can also get the array of livestock skills here) - Need: a Carpenter, a Mason - one of whom should also have Mechanic - Optional: A Hunter or Fisher (Never assign both to one for AI Logic reasons) - Optional to support fisher: Fish Cleaner+Dissector - Optional to support hunter: Butcher/Tanner/Leatherworker - Optional: a leader with the organization skills (can be learned natually) of "Appraiser, Organizer, Book-keeper" - Optional: a fighter with the skills Dodging, Fighting, Armor Usage, Blocking Trading Items - This can save 100-200+ in points! * Immediately look for cheap spider silk or other material alternatives to your bags, ropes, cloth. * Add a bit of raw wood and raw stone for initial workshops, it's very cheap * You can also pick animals in Prepare Carefully mode (you also get 2 yak/random wagon animals) (Deadly Pro-tip: If you don't craft what you downgrade here, it can be lethal!) * Downgrade wheelbarrow (cost 50) for logs (cost 3!) and craft them on-site instead. * Same for buckets, but this is very dangerous Do you feel prepared? Basic Gameplay Guide for Dwarf Fortress
Tumblr media
You will now receive an Embark message telling you about your mission to survive and the local animal predators. Heed it well and hit ok. Now make sure it's PAUSED (top right by map shows II or >) will pause and unpause. Our first goals by Winter will be to have working Defenses, Kitchens, Beds, and a Trade Depot. But how do we make this happen? In Dwarf Fortress, you do not directly control the dwarves. Instead, you create tasks. Then Dwarves will perform jobs which fit their "Labor." For example, when a stockpile is created, a Job is created for any dwarf of the appropriate Hauling Labor to take a specific item there. That job is completed and deleted when done. In this release they've made it a lot easier to get started, too - Dwarves are Generalized until you say otherwise (You should be able to start with a few specialists) To get things done: - + Create Zones, where work happens automatically if resources and workers with the correct labors enabled are available (buckets, step-ladders, fisherdwarves, animals & animal-handlers) - + Create Designations, for Mining or Tree Cutting for example, or for item Dumping. - + Create Orders at any level (Workshop level for specific or one-time orders, Manager level for repeating tasks) - + Create Stockpiles where goods are moved by an assortment of Hailing labors. - + Place buildings - Beds, Tables, Chairs and a Well are important first items. Also how Traps are placed. - + Assign Nobles, who are required for some functions and make your life bettworse - + Assign Militia Commander in nobles, who allows for Squads creation. So now, take a look at your UI . This series of windows and their many tabs within are your keys to the kingdom. At this point, the UI is laid out so that "If you click every tab and window here before un-pausing, you'll be in a good spot"
Tumblr media
So before your very first unpause most of this can be done, except maybe you can wait for the first migrants before you have a free guy to assign Sherrif or something. Seeds Stockpile - It can be helpful that you have seeds ONLY allowed in stockpiles where ZERO barrels are allowed. This way barrels are used for drinks and planters are not hauling heavy barrels around. Kitchen Setup There's a few important things to remember about the Kitchen menu. - Seeds are sometimes only given when processed or Brewed. So, Forbid the cooking of anything which can be brewed! - You can keep some fat/tallows forbidden to cook, to use for soap instead - Don't cook seeds First Steps As described above, you'll want to make pretty much one of every zone available because they all have a function (dont worry about clay/sand though) then you can un-pause to get workshops built. Now all those labors you learned about? They all have workshops. "Masons" and "Carpenter" workshops are most important to build first for blocks, doors, beds & barrels. "Crafter workshops" are also versatile and important for buckets. Mechanic shops can build mechanisms for drawbridges which can be a vital first line of defense. Most importantly of workshops, create a "Kitchen" and a "Still" ASAP. This is how you get food n drink. Each of these workshops can either produce things once as a Task, or it can be automated to a dizzying level of detail as a Work Order. For example to always have food, make a Work Order at a Kitchen workshop for Easy Meal, you can say this should only be done when ingredients are available. The bottom of the work order screen will have suggested parameters. Example of making bolts:
Tumblr media
Squad Creation First you need the Militia Commander Noble assigned. You will probably start with a militia commander squad with one poor sod as your first Squad. Labor X Military Caveats Maybe this is fixed, but if not it must be known. You should never assign a Squad to a Dwarf who has the following labors for AI Logic Reasons: - Fishing - Hunting - Wood Cutting - Mining - Hammerer (Loyalty Cascade warning) Squad Schedules Any month, any amount of Squads can be assigned multiple orders. For example "2 dwarves of Squad A train and 2 Dwarves of Squad A will patrol and 4 of them will guard a certain spot in X month" Tip: Rotate your Squads! Dwarves should ideally get 2-3 months off, every 2-3 months of duty. Tip: You can have 2-3 schedules so that different months, any squad is always on duty. Squad Training Training requires a "Barracks" zone or room which is assigned to the squad, and also contains either a cabinet or Archery Targets (Advise a full set of 10 Archery Targets for archer rooms) (Archery Target facing direction must be set after placement) Squad Uniforms - Each body part on a dwarf has layers. So you can cover each part in a soft and hard layer. - You can also specify that the hard pieces be made of metal. - Until you have a full set of armor for everyone, I recommend that "Uniforms are worn OVER clothing" in the early game. Armor Set for Militia example - Hood with metal Helm - Cloak with metal chain shirt and metal breastplate (or cloak and leather chest armor) - Trousers with Greaves - I am not sure if the tip "You need to add both twice for both feet/gloves protection" applies still but: - Glove(s) with metal Gauntlet(s) - Sock(s) with High Boot(s) - A shield - A weapon of their choice - - Defenses Refer to the build menu for available Traps, or the wiki's articles for the myriad of creative examples again but I'll say that the standard Year 1 defense can be a smooth wall + drawbridge. In conclusion, Brew everything at a Still right away, get plantin' & build that Trade Depot before Autumn. Dwarf Fortress - Industry & Workshop Guides Workshop Examples
Bentley EXP 100GT In the Metal 🤤 ______________________________________ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ [8/21/19] Bentley is looking out to the year 2035 with their EXP 100GT concept and now they have unveiled images of it in the flesh at the Monterey Peninsula in California! Bentley is also celebrating their 100th birthday with this concept that’s has an insane 6,000 LED lights to make up the rather large and stunning grille! The LED headlights are of course crafted to looks like crystal glass, and the flying B logo is more present than ever! It also is sort of massive at 19ft long, an even more insane 7.8ft wide. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏁 @Allcarnews Spec sheet: Powering this monster Bentley is an all electric powertrain making a monster 1,106 lb-ft of torque moving this 4,188lb beast to 60MPH in just 2.5sec, a 186MPH TopSpeed and still able to get 435 miles of range! It also uses Porsche’s fast charging tech to get 80% battery charge in just 15min. 🏁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The design is rather stunning inside and out and Bentley even says that driving it is “optional” as they are planning it to be fully autonomous. Inside is an AI assistant controlled through a crystal enclosure with 5 autonomous driving modes for your relaxation. They do have some... rather odd names like Enhance, Cocoon, Re-Live, and custom. The interior is just a work of art with stunning copper trim, reclaimed wood, leather and lots of glass! The concept won’t make it to production but the company says it previews future models using historic Bentley styling language. ________________________________________ ACN EXTRA: Go look at classic original Bentley’s and you can clearly see the design inspiration here, absolutely impressive! ________________________________________ -Text by @allcarnews -Images by @Bentley #Bentley #EXP100GT #EXP100 #GT #FlyingSpur #ContinentalGT #UK #Goodwood #electric #w12 #carbon ||#powerful #performance #turbocharged #supercharged #advanced #SupercarsRevamped #Supercar #HyperCar #ItsWhiteNoise #CarLifeStyle #MadWhips #CupGang #Carstagram #BlackList #AmazingCars247 An #allcarnews post https://www.instagram.com/p/B1b_Nw4BmjW/?igshid=12fejogwo9as0
Fata Morgana
Here is a preview of the WinterIron I’m working on. Full chapter should be uploaded on Ao3 by the 31st.
People will lie. There is no avoiding that. Nod on cue and politely smile. Think nothing of it. People will lie. When to be cautious, is not at a lie, but at a deflection. Those that distract with blinding smile or a song or an extravagant gesture. Be wary. Fae will bait you away with desires and dreams. Spirited away. Never to return. Be wary.
At least that’s what Ma would say. On loud nights, when the men of Brooklyn would gather to drink and sing. Loud to chase away dark idealizations. She would cuddle him close. Whisper stories of beautiful people who lead good Catholics astray. Of heroes that braved enchanted towers and won against seduction.
Of course, that memory could have been its own seductive dream. Memory was a tricky beast even for the day-to-day people. Having your brain cooked sunny side up by Hydra doesn’t improve things either. Not that anyone thinks it would. Late night television is not selling electroshocks as the cure for old age memory loss.
So Bucky was on the fence about his current situation. Did Tony Stark really kidnap him? If anyone were crazy enough to abduct the Winter Soldier, Stark would be on that list. Well, in his humble opinion. Crazy people never seem to think things through, either. Take, for example, Bucky’s bindings. Rope couldn’t stop an assassin. The Winter Soldier is a super assassin. Rope was cake on a silver platter of escape.
Escape. Right. The hero always struggles to escape. But he has lived far too long to be considered a hero. Heroes hope for humanity’s salvation. Not eternal sleep.
“Boss, I think the Princess is awake.”
Princess?! Oh, that was close. A slight twitch might go unnoticed but slamming his fists against the floor would not.
“Are you sure?”
Something jabs him twice in the shoulder. By some mercy, it was the shoulder attached to the meat arm. Even so, it’s still a jab into sensitive squish parts. But his body remains still. Thank Hydra for unparallel pain tolerance. Ha!
“Friday. How do you tell if a possum is playing dead?”
“It depends on the possum, I think.” A static hum consumes the quiet of the room. “You could draw something unflattering on his forehead.”
“Oh, love it.”
Something pops, and the stick of non-drinkable alcohol tickles his nose. Stark wouldn’t? Would he? Fuck crazy people and their unpredictable tendencies.
“Is this necessary? Couldn’t you just kill me? No reason to desecrate my body.” Bucky slams his hands between himself and the red marker. A wall to protect him from whatever Stark wanted to draw on his face. Probably something worse than the standard dick drawing.
Stark’s eyes trail from Bucky to the marker. A marker that’s only an inch from Bucky’s face. Then pouts. A full pout only found in cartoons with sings birds and large reflective eyes. Seriously. What is so exciting about drawing on a tired man’s face? Or putting starfish magnets on his metal arm?
“We're not going to kill you, Barnes.”
Bucky shifts his eyes around the room. Empty except for the crazy rich man with a marker and himself. No woman, he can’t help but imagine as a redhead. Stark does not voice a comment or give any indication of the location of the third human. In the security office? Remaining far away from Hydra’s favorite killing machine. Perhaps, some who isn’t crazy.
“Right now.”
Stark continues to fiddle with the marker refusing to put the damn thing done. To give up the grand opportunity to use Bucky’s forehead as paper. Not even the quality stuff. No, the scraps an artist uses to doodle.
“Has anyone told you that you resemble a depressing sandwich? And despite what the fire department may tell you, or Pepper for that matter. I know what I'm talking about. I have made my share of depressing sandwiches. Mostly, with mustard.” Stark makes a sweeping motion with the marker- still uncapped. “I tired honey dijon once because a random website told me too. I must say, I prefer mustard.”
The marker jumps up and twirls with the rhythm of Stark’s words in complete sync. A remarkable feat considering he had forgotten all about said writing utensil. Or that’s what Bucky hopes. He’s nice like that.
“What does food have to do with any of this?”
The marker is finally capped, and Stark frowns. Yet doesn’t say a thing. Did Bucky actually say anything? He is far too used to keeping any thought to himself. Stark dropped the marker. Bucky grabs it, just to make sure, while Stark turns away. More silence. Hardly illuminating to what the rats running Stark’s crazy brain thinks.
For a single heartbeat, Stark stilled between one step and the next. In that one thump of his heart, Stark stand between two thoughts. Is he turning his back on a weapon or a monster? Hydra handlers were quick to dismiss the Asset as a simple weapon. Yet he was required to present a gun to the handler if they were alone. As protection from a monster. Which will Stark choose?
Bucky doesn’t expect an answer. Doesn’t get one either. Stark simple takes his next step then another. Until he completely leaves Bucky’s line of sight.
Free from the ropes, and, as far as he can tell, alone in an empty meeting room. Bucky plots. Or at least takes another look around. There is a large table and a lot of chairs. Too many chairs. And windows blacked out. Standard stuff for the business life.
Except.
“Please, remain inside the room.”
The voice. Again. He does not like voices without bodies. There is nothing to stab if there is no body. “Do I have a reason to leave?”
“To destroy. As is your nature.”
“Is that why you will be deactivating and destroying me? For my sins? Or for Stark’s grudge?”
“I think justice is more appropriate. Don’t you, Barnes?”
“Is it just me or did this whole room get several degrees more depressing?” Stark returned holding a plate that looks like a mini Captain America shield with two sandwiches. Another was between his teeth. Already half eaten. He blinks, nose twitching and the sandwich disappears with the last bite. “Are you having a showdown with My AI?” The plate is held high even as Stark tilts his head to the side. “You shouldn’t. She cheats.”
{Comment about AI}
“I do not. I am a proper lady.”
“That cheats and starts fights with cyborgs.”
“I didn’t start anything. But I will finish it.”
Friday, as Stark called the ceiling, ends the sentence with enough implied judgment to anchor an entire fleet of ships. During a heavy storm. But Bucky didn’t start shit. No matter how the ceiling paints it.
Well…
There was the whole thing with Steve.
“I made you depressing sandwiches.” Stark shoves the plate into Bucky’s personal bubble. It is presented with the same pride a child presents a gift to their mother. “There is mustard and tomatoes. Salami. Maybe. The evidence is uncertain.”
Well, the sandwiches look innocent enough sitting on the mini shield. The bread is white with seeds. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Just different. There is definitely the strong fatty smell of salami. More of a last meal than what Hydra would offer. Looks good, too.
Taking the food incites Stark to grin, small but bright, like a star off in the distance. How easy it would be for Stark’s blinding smiles to hide all sorts of grime. Pierce could disarm anyone with a smile as well, even Fury.
Stark gave him a sandwich at least.
“Now, according to personal experience, it’s time for the evil monologue. The fun part.”
Bucky takes a bite. Otherwise, etiquette would dictate that he respond. And Stark has a crazy sparkle in his eyes. Never respond to the crazy. That and silence is easy. Nodding is easy. People usually just continue when he nods.
“Right! So last night or the prior evening or something. Not important. What is important is that a waking dream gave me an idea. And no it wasn’t a dream. I was definitely awake. Dreams usually have someone screaming.” Stark’s hand smacks the notion away. “Nor was I hallucinating. You can’t trust hallucinations. But this is a good idea. A genius idea!” His other hand shoots straight into the air.
“What idea?” The fucking moron asks. You’d never figure Buck’s been around for hundred years. He knew not to engage the crazy. Bucky blames the second sandwich. Didn’t get into his mouth fast enough. Fucker.
Stark is too crazy to catch Bucky’s mental stumble. But the AI. The AI is judging him. Judging and laughing it up. Silently. Like a dick. Dick.
“Revenge! Because what else can I do? It’s either this or a time machine. And I promise I was going to go with the time machine. But Pepper vetoed that. Which fair. No one wants me running around in the time stream. I wouldn’t be able to help myself even knowing I’d probably fuck it up.”
Stark flexes his right hand. He stops to stare at the fingers curling and uncurling, grasping for something. “I keep having that same dream. It only got worse after. Zombie Steve with the shield. Blaming me. For fucking up. Not doing enough. Always saying the wrong thing. I work and go to therapy. But the dreams remain. The bodies piling up.” His eyes slide shut. One last time those fingers curl then clench tight.
“So I kidnapped you.” Stark spreads his arms out wide. “Part of it was panic. Rhodey may have destroyed the ancient technology that might have been a mobile phone. Hard to say, archeology isn’t my strong suit. Whatever. I do know he dropped it down the Mariana Trench. But I would be surprised if it survived. And Steve.”
The stars vanish from his eyes. His arms are slammed from the air by gravity. “No, it’s Rogers now. Rogers.” Stark’s mumbling to himself now. His audience forgot.
Because what? Bucky’s just chopped liver. Not the intend audience. Fuck that. He’ll just be stupid and blame it on Hydra. Hydra played happy sack with electricity and his brain. He has earned at least using them as an excuse.
“Why would ‘Pepper’ nix the time machine?”
Bucky could actually see Stark remember he had an audience. His eyes blinking and tilting. His gaze landing on Bucky. And the ‘oh’ formed on his lips. Like prose on a page in a fairytale book for children.
“I told you.”
“Yeah, I got that. But there is no way you could build a time machine that goes back in time. Pretty sure Einstein nixed that.”
“I could.”
Sure. Maybe if he had another hundred years or so. But Bucky ain’t holding his breath.
This whole thing is a farce. Like Stark’s the only one hunted by ghosts. Everyone’s got nightmares. Bucky’s got seventy years to fuel his phantoms and shadows. World War 2. Hydra. The Red Room. But he fucking buries it. Right next to the bodies. Smiles and grins instead. Fucking telling stories from the 1930’s he isn’t sure he remembers or read in Rogers’ file. Writing broken dreams in journals that switch from Russian to English to Italian to German.
And for fucking what. To be used against Stevie. Again. “I refuse.” And fuck him.
“Okay.” Stark nods. Takes back the plate, gripping it to his chest. Takes a step back. Grins and bows. A grand gesture indicating the open door. A showman’s bow ending the play, waiting for the curtains to fall. But for all it’s supposed glam it’s dull. All the color that made Stark shine shut away. With a delicate slam. Something that might even go unnoticed.
Again there is that silent laughter. Mocking him.
But sunlight is pushing itself inside. Bucky follows the light out. Stark had been right. The room was depressing. The blinding hallway wasn’t much better.
Bucky wants his goggles.
🦸‍♀️RECENSIONE/REVIEW 🇮🇹Ciao Books Lovers, dopo tanto tempo, con la scusa che dc comics mi ha inviato in anteprima il terzo volume di questa serie di graphic novel dedicati ai miei supereroi preferiti, ho recuperato questa prima trilogia. In Italia sono usciti i primi due per @ilcastorolibri e il 28 di questo mese esce il terzo volume in inglese. Sul blog trovate la recensione completa, ecco qui invece una piccola preview. Kami Garcia e Gabriel Picolo sono gli autori. "E’ da quando Kami Garcia ha annunciato avrebbe scritto un fumetto su di lei, e poi su BB, che lo tengo d’occhio. Ho sempre voluto leggerlo, ma allo stesso tempo ne avevo paura perché essendo il mio personaggio preferito, questa del fumetto non è la sua vera storia, non sapevo cosa aspettarmi. Solo a lettura completata posso dire che non è stata niente male. I disegni sono eccezionali, e anche la storia di per sè è ben costruita, molto simile all’originale, ma con dei tocchi personali che l’hanno resa ancora più bella. Sono stati inventati alcuni personaggi che sono stati inseriti a perfezione nella vita di Raven." 🇺🇸Hello Books Lovers, after a long time, with the excuse that @dccomics sent me a preview of the third volume of this series of graphic novels dedicated to my favorite superheroes, I read this first trilogy. On the 28th of this month the third volume, Beast Boy loves Raven will be out. On the blog you will find the complete review, here is a small preview. @kamigarcia And @_picolo are the authors. "It’s since Kami Garcia announced she was going to write a comic about her, and then about BB, that I’ve been keeping an eye on it. I always wanted to read it, but at the same time I was afraid of it because being my favorite character, this comic is not her real story, I didn’t know what to expect. Only when the reading was complete I could say it was not bad at all. The designs are exceptional, and the story itself is well constructed too, very similar to the original, but with personal touches that made it even more beautiful. A few characters have been invented to fit perfectly into Raven’s life." (at New Orleans, Louisiana) https://www.instagram.com/p/CUIQiJbokzY/?utm_medium=tumblr
