Imagine You created the Best Tool in the World, but Nobody Buy from You, Nobody Learned from You... How Big would Your Success be? Especially in this Money-Driven High-Tech Economy, Marketing would be more Important than Innovations as Innovations may be easily stolen and replicated. Marketing in this sense would be the Inspirations. Competitors learning from you could be creating a better version than yours, then you can learn from them and improve your own version to be better than theirs as well. Any Skills, for example Martial Arts, Grandma's Cooking Recipes, etc, that are not passed down to the next generations become lost. So, this is a retelling of Pride and Prejudice in a modern setting. I love P&P, so I figured I'd enjoy this. I did not.

This story follows Georgie Darcy after Wickham gets expelled from school for using her to help him sell drugs without her knowledge. And then it gets worse. Georgie was an annoying character to follow, she was very whiny and felt like everyone hated her. She did get better by the end, but the book was not fun to read, and it took me 6 months to finish this.

I probably would've enjoyed this 10+ years ago, but seeing as I just had my 28th birthday, teen angst is pretty distant for me, plus all of the mentions of fanfiction just reminded me that this read like a bad fanfic and that I could be reading better fanfics.
