#i am wondering about the chocolate roses #was the first half of the crew working on those roses on valentines day #and now the second half of the crew is making them on white day?#no... that's not logical... maybe they were all working on them around the same time #but the images of their activities is only released to us on these specific holidays #did eiden pull a 'when i worked briefly as a cake decorator they taught me how to make these cool choco roses'?#and everyone in the clan got a Aha! moment and wanted to make their own roses. in some grand cake for eiden??#they are all doing edible arts and crafts. idk how they were separated by sex position but sometimes things work out that way. i guess.#[side eyes the strange dimensional portal that segregates them.] this portal can only induce pain (in me)#but maybe... the rose dante is holding away from blade is his PERFECTED sample?#and he's seen how blade has been steadily adding things to the roses. glitter. inedible things. strange divots and patterns #blade has the ABILITY to make perfect identical roses like a production line. but will he do it? no. not cute #every rose should have some personality. a little flair. a little lumpy petal here and there #and dante is all NO . you may perceive this lesser specimen (Rose B) as a distraction. but my true aim is preserve the integrity of Rose A #the bottoms were making their roses in the daytime. the tops are partying at night. what does this mean #will they all welcome eiden home at midnight (he was out on some bland social gathering with aster and huffy nobles?)???? WITH ROSE CAKE?#but quincy has meat. why he got meat? to keep morale high? because he's not a fan of sweets? because his creature friends preFER meat?#well. meat and cake. not a bad way to party the night away #but the... wine? champagne? pls dont tell me theyve been drinking. do not give the tops alcohol. BAD things will happen #so many stressed eiden dolls.... i wish him peace... maybe one day he can lie peacefully on a bed of roses and not be set on fire #he would have to risk it during a daytime bottoms outing. apparently (and even then the risk is still not nonexistent)#(mostly because edmond+food creates an uncharacteristic uptick in disasters. plus the puppy exuberance. plus rei . just rei)#(once again i feel sorry for oli. is he the only one with a metaphorical eiden doll fire extinguisher? we should do a plot twist.#make OLI the one to accidentally set eiden doll on fire. and garu extinguishes it. enrich their experiences with novelty and unlikely stats #this image was brought to my attention by a puppy hellbent on showing me yakumo's distressed expression #can't say i'm displeased with it

this is truly the year of all my most annoying coworkers throwing a tantrum and quitting!!! woohoo!!

#our groundskeeper ragequit today over the dems canvassing in our event space and its truly just #baffling given my boss has been an open active democrat this whole time #and yet this guy comes in tearing up signs and yelling at old ladies on a peaceful sunday morning #anyway :| he's been really difficult to work with and barely did his job anyway but unfortunately his job was important #everything around here is falling apart for real

The thing is I do get the, like, instinctive suspicion of JGY? Or—well, no, I think a lot of it is classism. But suspicion is honestly a really reasonable response to JGY's activities under JGS! It's worth it to ask: was he really in danger of his life? And even if he was, having had to do this to survive—what will he be like, when he doesn't have to anymore?

They're fair questions! The problem is they're questions we can answer from the text. He absolutely was in danger of his life. And as to what he'd be like when he didn't have to anymore—

I've talked about the watchtowers a lot because they're such a good example, and the kind of thing that would never have happened without him. But sometimes I want to shake people and say, look at the result of his governance! Look at the world WWX wanders through, post resurrection! Look at the peace, look at the way the juniors really get the chance to be kids!

This isn't something that happens automatically. Or really what I want to say is, it means something about the powers of the cultivation world. You can't just treat it as an interesting background fact to the juniors' characterization, with no depth beyond that! The cultivation world under WRH was the way it was because of WRH; the cultivation world under JGS was the way it was because of JGS; the cultivation world under JGY was the way it was because of JGY, and the way it was was better than any other time we've seen it.

#forsaken #john doe #homicidal porkchops #not sure which survivors to have conversing so just feel free to assume whoever.#i wanna imagine john perked up from his spot when he saw the survivors pull out the grill and the ingredients.#same ol blank smile but you could tell there was heavy curiosity at first and then enthusiasm in his movement as he got to work.#like someone being reintroduced to a game or hobby they used to really like.#the survivors probably and understandably assumed john was only in it because there was food involved and thus more food for him #which has already so far been the main factor in why john has been so passive with all of them.#kinda the reason why nobody really came up to stop him when he started to mess around with the grill because its either let him do whatever #or accidentally set him off and begin an unofficial round at base.#but john ended up being really insistent in making sure there was enough to go around for the survivors.#something something john cooking on the grill again after so long and after being corrupted and then forsakened #giving him some sense of normalcy and peace under that feral and instinct-driven exterior.#also i think john deserves to be mostly perceived being animalistic and instinct-driven.#just for the extra shock to some of the survivors whenever they do happen to catch him doing an extremely normal activity.#granted he probably doesnt understand a word in that newspaper but hes still sitting down and looking through it.

It's definitely more building on the events of my fic than anything that implied in canon, but I still really like the idea that Robo-Ky and Venom were living in a skeleton of an apartment while the bakery was taking off and it slowly gets filled with more furniture and personal effects as time goes on.

I think it might take a bit for it to properly sink in that the bakery someone else's home that they happen to live in. It's theirs and theirs to do what they want with it and that gets reflected in how it looks, yk (๑ᵔ⤙ᵔ๑) ?

#I think Venom would be used to a certain way of doing things that comes from his time running the Guild #Venom saw himself as the extension of someone else and he needs to keep what *they* worked so hard to achieve afloat #it's hard to un-stick himself from that mentality considering the Everything That Happened #so I do think he'd still be Very Focused on repaying his debt to Robo-Ky to really focus on the apartment too much #but I do like the idea that he slows down a bit once Robo-Ky gets fitted to his temporary body #I feel like him having more mobility and agency would ease the tension a bit #and enough time would've passed for Venom to feel more secure that this town is his home #the bakery isn't going to go under #and his debts are well on their way to being paid #I think at that point instead of any purchase or deviation in schedule being something that Venom needs to carefully plan out and account f #with massive stakes on the line if he miscalculates #Venom has the peace of mind that he can just buy things because he *wants*#also I am not forgetting about Robo-Ky in this situation because his relationship with the idea of “home” is just as interesting!#our introduction to Robo-Ky (as in *the* Robo-Ky) comes from a drama CD where he's actively run away from home in a sense #with another unit being sent out to retrieve him #and when you look at how the PWAB was being run at the time I can see why!#the person who made him clearly hates him and he's only being brought home so he can be communicated with and be put back to work #but the PWAB bases are made to be temporary as well. they're rigged with explosives that can be detonated at a moments notice #you can't adjust to the idea of home if you're not wanted there outside of who made you wanting to make you useful #and if the building itself isn't something you could grow attached to either #I think it would be a bit of adjustment for him that Venom's both protective over his bakery and the town it resides in #and that Robo-Ky's presence is wanted there outside of what he can do *for* Venom #Robo-Ky is allowed to exist in the home and have it be known that he lives there #I love the idea of that being shown through little touches of him all over the place along with everything Venom's bought for the apartment #ANYWAY I hope you guys see the vision this might not be super well explained- I'm very tired #and I started running out of steam so I huolkkihohj #yappin'

It's 2024 and there's still those who feel the need to tell people who ship Jonsa that all the evidence is a reach. Why is that? Why are they so preoccupied with a ship that they think is delusional?

I think Sansa and Sandor is delusional, there's zero chance of it happening but I'm not sending anons to the people who ship it saying it's never going to happen.

The antis just need to admit that they're terrified that Jonsa is going to happen. GRRM has subtly sprinkled Jonsa dust and it's the critical reader who sees it. That's why you have people who don't ship any of the characters and aren't interested in any of the fandom ships who see the links between Sansa and Jon and wonder what it's about and why it's there.

we got that modern day cassandra curse. no matter how much evidence we have, the greater fandom will ignore it. but that’s ok, half the takes this fandom comes up with are terrible so i would rather keep them away from jonsa as long as possible.
