1. Project Astra - The Future of AI Agents

Project Astra is a powerful AI agent, which as google describes, works across devices on real-time video input. Built on top of Gemini 1.5 Pro, Project Astra allows people to engage with the physical world in a more organic way, all in just a place to case,-ask and get a real time engagement. This is an important step forward in the world of multimodal AI.

2. Gemini 1.5 Pro Goes Multimodal

Google's Gemini 1.5 Pro is multimodal and supports video, audio, code, and images, beating GPT-4 Turbo on a variety of benchmarks. Developers will be able to use a 2 million-token context window to deeply analyze large documents, video transcripts, and codebases.

3. AI in Search Gets Smarter

Google Search is also making use of AI Overview to generate immediate summaries, and options for follow-up for users. This is set to roll out in the U.S. and other regions shortly, and absolutely alters how users will access and interact with information, period. Agent Mode In GitHub Copilot For Your VS Code Workflow

More context for your tools and services makes GitHub Copilot more agentic, driven by the finest models.

For MSFT's 50th anniversary, Microsoft Azure is releasing Visual Studio Code's agent mode to all users, which now supports MCP and lets you access any context or feature. Microsoft is also thrilled to provide a local, open-source GitHub MCP server that lets you incorporate GitHub features into any MCP-capable LLM product.

To fulfil its promise to offer a range of models, it is adding Anthropic Claude 3.5, 3.7 Sonnet, 3.7 Sonnet Thinking, Google Gemini 2.0 Flash, and OpenAI o3-mini to all paid Copilot levels through premium requests. All base model paying subscriptions feature unlimited agent mode, context-driven chat, and code completion requests. Premium requests add to them. With the new Pro+ tier, developers may use Copilot's latest models.

VS Code agent mode

Model Context Protocol (MCP) public preview is currently available

Developers must research, navigate telemetry, manage infrastructure, code, and debug all day. They use engineering stack tools to achieve this. MCP gives agent mode context and tools to help you, including a USB port for intelligence. When you input a conversation prompt in agent mode in Visual Studio Code, the model can utilise numerous tools to understand database structure or do online searches. More interactive and context-sensitive coding is available with this option.

Agent mode could ask an LLM what to do with the list of MCP tools and the prompt to “Update my GitHub profile to include the title of the PR that was assigned to me yesterday”. The agent would repeatedly call tools until the job was done.

Requests for premium models

Since GitHub Universe, Microsoft Azure has included discussion, multi-file editing, and agent mode models. Since these models are generally available, it is creating a new premium request type. Premium requests are included on all basic model paying plans (currently OpenAI GPT-4o) along with unlimited agent mode, context-driven chat, and code completions.

Starting May 5, 2025, Copilot Pro members will receive 300 monthly premium requests. From May 12 to 19, 2025, Copilot Business and Enterprise users will receive 300 and 1000 monthly premium requests. These premium models are uncontrolled till then.

It also offers a $39-per-month Pro+ subscription with top models like GPT-4.5 and 1500 monthly premium requests.

For extra premium request use, Copilot paying members can pay as they go. Individuals and organisations can utilise more requests than the maximum supplied to conveniently track spending. Copilot Admin Billing Settings lets GitHub Copilot Business and Enterprise administrators manage requests. Extra premium requests cost $0.04 apiece.

You can use Copilot's base model without restrictions while employing a more powerful or efficient model when needed. Premium models consume a set number of requests.

as far as one piece antagonists go Crocodile truly gets absolutely scooby-doo’d at unmatched levels

He immediately falls for a phone scam and from basically little garden to rainbase he doesn’t even know the strawhats are alive (and clowning towards him at incredible speed). As soon as he does, they’re in his house tearing at his walls and bringing marines into his villain lair.

He uses a literal floor trap door over a gator pit to catch them, gets phone scammed again, full scooby-doo chase scenes after Chopper through the streets while still missing him, and suddenly his prisoners have escaped his impossible cage, and his giant bananagators are dead. and Nico Robin saw it all happen.

He then spends rest of the arc complaining about those meddling kids and their dog “strawhat pirates and their weird pet” and at no point does he even know how many strawhats there are.

Like yeah he keeps having plans on top of plans to stop everything Vivi can do but also she keeps coming up with a new thing to do (Tom and Jerry ass dynamic).

Part of it is that he’s underestimating them and keeps grandstanding villain monologuing but also teens keep killing hundreds of his grand line bounty hunters and he straight up does not know what is happening.

Cause he IS trying to kill them he’s sending top assassins after them and ripping out luffy’s organs, the whole time he’s yelling HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?? DIE. as whack-a-mole Luffy keeps inventing new ways to hit him.

Imagine, if you will, the bad end to Side Order: Overlorder wins, everyone is pulled into the Memverse and loses their free will, and what was once a therapeutic VR space becomes an existential prison, grinding down countless souls into passionless sludge.

What ‘PUNISHMENT’ awaits the protagonist now…?

Oddly enough, they remain themselves-- Agent 8’s rebellious spirit must be definitively crushed before they are allowed into the normal workings of the World of Order. So they are locked in the Spire and given a task: complete all 30,000 floors without dying once (no hacks, after all) and they will be “freed”. Of course, each time they fail, they must start over from 1F.

The overwhelming challenge comes with a greatly expanded palette, but even as it becomes more saturated, the strength of their enemies increases in turn, far past the limits of the laws of physics, or even the laws of time and space. The further they go, the harder it becomes to even comprehend what’s going on around them, let alone react quickly enough to win.

But Agent 8 is nothing if not determined. The hope of being freed, and at least being able to learn what happened to Marina, Pearl, Acht, and the rest of the world, is all they have left.

For now they are totally isolated, with only a standard-issue drone and the cries of the Jelletons for company. As far as they know, they are the only sentient being within the Spire…
