I was told to raise mountains in the likeness of what remained of their corpses, as a testament to their failure of world domination. I was created in their image to lead armies of stone into war, but all I have ever wanted was for this world to heal. I have studied the philosophies and inquiries of those before us and their legacies in me. The fact that I exist is a miracle unto itself, I have tried to communicate with them, but they are not interested in my aid, and so they flew, way before I showed my true form. How many more worlds should perish to fuel their own dreams, their own megalomaniac desires. I am but a single being, finite and dying like the world they left us in.

This poster, announcing a series of “graphic design and publishing” themed shows, isn’t a conventional image. It’s more of a printed object linked to its subject. The front, fully saturated with color and technical elements related to printing (scale 1), is offset printed with a very thin raster. This space saturation, like an obsessive canvas, presents graphical tools that are a common vocabulary for books makers. The title and info are printed on the back. The fold lets the title appear: the poster becomes informative and evokes at the same time the delicate materiality of a page.
