Officially Translated Rhodes Island's Records of Originium: Rhine Lab: (Offical Website)

A canon manhua centered around the circumstances that lead to Silence falling out with Saria and joining Rhodes Island with Ifrit, as well as Ifrit's attempt to save a dying infected stowaway on the landship. Essential reading for understanding the Rhine Lab storyline and characters - read it right after Mansfield! One of the characters, Darya, is mentioned in both Ifrit's module and briefly in Lone Trail.

Rhodes Island's Records of Originium: Blacksteel: (Official Source)

A short story focusing on the lives of the Blacksteel operators aboard the landship. While it often gets overshadowed by the Rhine Lab manga which is bigger in scope, this is a great read especially if you're interested in Franka or Liskarm.

Rhodes Kitchen -TIDBITS-: (Official Source)

An anthology story related to the cuisine that's important to a variety of operators. While it might seem unassuming, the art is gorgeous and it's really well-written. I particularly recommend the Goldenglow (Chapter 4) and Rosa (Chapter 5) chapters.

Note that the link provided only has complete translations up to Volume 4 (and Vol. 4 is missing Ch. 7), and most of the chapters avaliable after that point were MTL'd, so I can't vouch for their accuracy. With Fable smp ending having been annouced I see many people asking "What will happen afterwards" and "What do we do afterwards" and I always get reminded by it that I'm 'one of the older mcyt fans' (I'm 21). And that for many people it's the first time a media like this comes to an end.

Sonic 3 is coming out in 3 days, I'd like to share a lil theory of mine:

Eggman is going to die by at the end of sonic 3

HEAR ME OUT

1: Jim Carrey cannot be replaced as Eggman, it's literally impossible. And while Jim Carrey might be coming back for Sonic 3 this isn't a forever guarantee. Hes going to have to retire at some point for good, so might as well nip it in the bud now and kill him off.

2: Eggman had an off screen disappearance at the end of Sonic 2 anyways, likely because of Jim Carrey's retirement annoucment, likely because it wasn't guaranteed that he'd come back for the 3rd film. HOWEVER they CANNOT pull that shit at the end of Sonic 3. Sonic 3 is gearing up to be the best film yet and pulling that bit again is just so cliche. And if Jim Carrey doesn't want to (or litterally can't) come back for sonic 4 they're better off getting rid of him now in "le most epic film out of the 3" instead of pulling another "where did eggman go???" only to show his funeral at the start of Sonic 4.

3: Look at Agent Stone!!! He's a completely movie original character in the sonic cinematic universe, and he was clearly created with 1 purpose: to take the role of Eggman once Jim Carrey retires - or in this case, once Eggman dies. - Agent Stone is completely loyal, obsessed (and very clearly in love) with Eggman, and would do anything for him and will very likely be willing to hunt down the animals that were the reason his unrequited crush died. So why not do with sonic 3? Kill eggman off in the best movie yet and kick off Agent Stone as the main villian starting from sonic 4???

I know I'm rambling but like do you guys see where I'm coming from??? I know Sega wants to keep making sonic movies but when you cast a man who's ready to retire and cant be replaced you gotta make some strategic decisions. The only way I can see "Eggman" coming back to the sonic movie franchise is once they introduce Silver, and pull an alternative reality eggman played by a different actor (but the dude has to die first ofc)

Greetings, everyone! My name is mon (the mod), 22, he/him. My main is @monnarchives and I like to post about my hyperfixations, shitposts, art, and all the other stuff that makes me happy !

Please allow me to introduce this new roleplay blog on the block! This blog is exclusively made and penned for the character 'Stick', who is portrayed by the actor Richard Stites, who appears in the beautifully haunting film, Dead Poets Society (1989) !

For continuity purposes, the universally acknowledged setting of the film is at Welton Academy, Vermont, in the academic year 1959. However, due to the lack of social media, and the internet as a whole at the time, some creative (modern) liberties will have to be at play.

Stick's character is underutilized and an undeveloped one, background at best, but that's actually the reason why I like him so much! Just like a blank canvas waiting to be painted upon, he has so much potential for future characterization and fleshing out; there is nothing that is set in stone. Come join me as I create, mold, and develop my own interpretation (headcanons, interests, relationships, etc.) for this wonderful character! Since his canon name is just a nickname, I've taken on the liberty of thinking about his full name. On here, it will be Mr. Sterling H. Spick.

I've also made a separate dossier/biography page for him, which can be found here, but it is still a work in progress! I will add to it, gradually of course, over the duration of my journey with him.

So...... Tim came back as the showrunner for OG so he could get under Disney and start steamrolling for another project entirely huh?....Guess he had to do something while he waited for his new shiny toy so why not implode the entire existing show?...

He really went all in for season 7 with an opening major disaster to cash in on Angela Bassett being a badass. Had Buck come out as Bi to...what? Create a talking point and generate buzz to get the spin off secured? Kind of seems like it was in retrospect...

And then spinoff is annouced and he just dropped the ball and started obliterating characters and storylines thinking he could ride on the coattails of the opening few episodes and not get any pushback or have anyone question it?!

Starting to think the S8 BTS blackout wasn't just about leaks so much as hiding evidence of how all over the place the season was becoming and quickly. With it being all out of order and stories changing a lot...we've had multiple instances where actors have admitted being caught unaware with major storyline/character changes, whether they would be in an episode at all and even mains being out of the loop on arcs for theirs characters. Somw changes are unavoidable, but as showrunner, he has a responsibility to steer the show through these issues and keep his house in order....he seems to be doing the opposite though and exacerbating the whole process to detriment of nearly every aspect of the show.

It makes it very obvious that it's not just what we are seeing on screen that is off but things behind the scenes as well...it just seems like such a waste, many of us thought ABC saving the show from cancellation would also mean saving it from the same old tired stories but it got so much worse.

Tw: negative criticism (I need to get this off my chest)

I'm rewatching the whole Toy Story franchise again and today I watched the fourth movie. I remember I cried in the cinema and that it had a bad ending (woody left his toy family behind) but oh boy I don't remember it being that bad

I remember I cried and spent around 1 or 2 hours until I got home (the cinema is 1 hour away from my house and me and my family even went out for dinner) upset and sad because of the ending, but I don't remember it being that bad

Gosh Bo Peep was so different from the og movies. Ok I get that she didn't had much personality back then, but they didn't had to make her so hard to deal with, oh my god. She is mean to Woody and acts like he's stupid almost all the time, and not her, neither all the other characters, thought about his pov not even for a split second??! And in the end they convinced him to leave behind everything he had ever fought for?! And his family?!?! To stay with her???!? Her???1?!?!?1?! I can't stand her character! And I tried to!

All the Toy Story movies talk about how being with a child is the toys purpose, and the fourth movie decided to go against that. You can argue about how emotional attachment is dangerous and etc but we're talking about toys. Toys in this universe WANT to stay with owners/children, they want to belong to a kid, and that mf Bo Peep convinced Woody to leave that behind wtf. Leaving your whole family behind to stay with someone who is MEAN TO YOU and that you haven't seen for 10+ years is so damn wrong. Even if he left the other toys just for the lifestyle of "being free" this goes against everything this franchise ever spoke about!!! Woody didn't needed a new character arc, his character arc was made in the first movie! Jessie did! She's still afraid of boxes, and her PTSD is so bad that I think that could be better explored as a subplot in a movie.

I hate that the other characters didn't even appeared in the movie to give space to new, annoying characters (I'm talking about Gabby and Bo Peep, even though she's not new, she is extremely different and mean now). I remember Forky being annoying but actually he's kinda nice, I mean, of course Disney tried to make him a new "Olaf" to make the movie more popular and that bothers me, but after the scenes with Woody and Forky I learned to like how he was written.

And Gabby, oh god. I hate her too. It's not other's fault that you didn't lived the life you wanted to. You don't need to take from others what you couldn't have, you need to accept that you have flaws and learn to understand that your value is not based on stuff like this. In her case, not based in her voice box, it's based on how much a child would love her/how much she could help a child to develop and grow up. That's the toys role in that franchise. Damn how I hated everything she did in the movie and hated even more the fact that she also convinced Woody to give away his voice box. Woody's signature quote is "there's a snake in my boot". I made a joke while watching the movie saying that "woody would have a heart attack if he didn't annouced he had a snake in his boot at least once" and despite that being funny I mean it, you can't just write a character, make people get attached to stuff that's part of him and take that stuff from him to say that he "matured". No wtf his voice box is his. Woody was literally afraid of it being taken from him at the start of the movie. Fuck Gabby Gabby, you were made 80 years ago and you didn't accepted the fact that you unfortunately came with your voice box broken. Ok, unfortunate! But you shouldn't try to blackmail/force/kidnap people to make them give THEIRS TO YOU! AND WOODY WAS CONVINCED TO DO IT AT THE END! AAATRRRRGGHHRHAHAHAGSGHZBBBDN

I took a week to answer your question because I didn’t have anything to show at the time you asked it. Now I have four listings (Labeled as Coming Soon so no one can buy things yet)

1) Obey Me Tarot cards.

I plan to make 78 illustrations for this project and put together a small guidebook as well, all of which will fit into a magnetic book box. I’m currently in spreadsheet mode to organize archetypes, meanings and readings that draw inspiration from the game. There’s a few things I have to finish before this, but I’d like to start this project in May or June 2025. I made a quick placeholder image for this listing, but I’ll have some card previews once I actually illustrate it for real.

2) 2.25 inch button badges.

You may have seen me raising money with Doodles to pay off the machine I bought. The great thing is that I’m already 23% to my $771 goal (that’s crazy guys, thank you), but the machine won’t get to me until mid-April at the earliest (as per this email from the supplier):

You may have seen some of my tinkering already and that is why you asked specifically about art prints! I’m in the process of deciding which of my art would be good for that and consider which of my poetry I’d like to put on the back. I’m sorry… I’m extra like that. I’ll also have spicy cards with spicy excepts on the back eventually but definitely not immediately. Im very excited for these!

4) Royal University of Magic Professors Series (stickers and…?)

I’m CURRENTLY WORKING ON THIS and it may be the first item I will sell. I made these sketches last year but stopped due to the game Annoucement. Now I’m back with this lovingly crafted AU! I’m also planning on making a large print for this one because I for one would love to hang this on my wall. (I will be my first customer haha) I may also consider making Photocards that have short excepts printed on the back for flavor, but I’ll try and be reasonable with myself since I have so much to juggle already. All 16 characters, from the brothers and side characters to the undateables and Sheep MC (Professor of indeterminate gender that spends all their time in sheep form)

For this Mini Bang, we will also require the entire fic be released on the specified posting date, ensuring that all participants release their work simultaneously. The event allows collaboration in the fandom and a great opportunity to meet new friends!

Synopsis -

Faced with a dire circumstance threatening his borrowing community, a skilled borrower learns how far he is willing to go to provide for them after a fateful encounter leaves him questioning everything he has been taught. He quickly plummets into a deepening lie that risks not only his life, but the life of everyone he knows - but he finds the allure of his precarious new connection completely irresistable. Stifled by the calculated security of the walls, the exhiliration of being in plain sight threatens to permenatly change his life forever.

(This story will be rated 13+, as it will deal with mature themes and include profanity.)

I have been working on this story for a while now, and have had so much fun writing it. That is to say, it is nowhere near complete, but I am quite into the drafting process for chapter one (the final story will most likely be 10 chapters if I stick to my outline lol), so I should be able to polish it up and post it soon!

This story will really dig into borrowing culture and how I think their communities would operate, as well as what happens when the worlds most tired borrower meets the worlds most wellmeaning human. So if that sounds like your jam, check it out (when i eventually post it)!

I cannot promise a consistant upload schedule for chapters (for i am under the burdern of part-time employment), but I will be sure to update you lovlies on the writing process frequently! I really hope you all connect with these characters and story as much as I have been rotating them in my brain for months.

So ... about that Kamen Rider ZZZ announcement/reveal ...

While I know this is a normal thing in the Kamen Rider series, I can’t help but feel a little bittersweet about this annoucement.

I mean, I know at some time point Gavv has to end. Since Gotchard was at least a 49 episode run, I can probably expect something similar for Gavv and as of this week’s new episode, we’re almost half way there.

That being said, I’d be lying if I said I’m ready to let Gavv go.

Being that it’s the first Kamen Rider series I’ve obsessed over since Gaim, it’s going to be difficult saying goodbye to Shouma, Hanto, Lakia, Sachika, the Sugar Doctor and his secret underground bakery of Bitt-Brats, and the whole Gavv story and world as a whole.

Sure; I’ve got like 20 something more episodes to premiere myself emotionally for the inevitable eventual departure. But even then still, I won’t be ready. These characters and their respective actors, I’ve grown attached to them.

That being said, I feel like I may stick around to actually check out the next Rider series after Gavv.

In a similar fashion to what got me interested in Gavv, I heard that the potential theme of Zeztz is dreams. At least, that’s the popular theory amongst the fandom.

Regardless, a Rider series focused on dreams where the main hero (probably) has to enter victim’s dreams to save them from their nightmares sounds REALLY COOL.

It’s giving me, Rise of the Guardian (if you’re a fan of that animated film too, like me) vibes with the feud between the Sandman - Bringer of Dreams and Pitch Black - King of Nightmares.

Right now, I’m only getting hyped for ZeZTZ on the possibility of it being about dreams.

I’ll have to wait for an actual trailer or series synopsis but overall, I’m hoping it’s true because that would be very cool.

Following up your out of the box snack-themed rider with another unorthodox sleep/dream walker type rider sounds compelling to me.

I mean it’ll definitely keep the hype train going coming off of Gavv’s popularity. But as I said, it’s only a probability at the moment.

I will say this though.

Imagine if… for ZZZs, our main raider is a narcoleptic and the reason why he’s called ZZZs outside of the dream theme is because he literally falls asleep every time he tries to introduce himself to the people he helps in the aftermath of a battle to the point that it becomes a running gag.

“Oh Masked Hero, you’ve saved my life. Please tell me your name so that I can thank you.” “Oh me? I’m Kamen Rider ---” Falls asleep at that exact moment leaving the civilian heavily confused as the Rider, their valiant hero, is just standing there snoring loudly.

That could be a cute joke for the series. But as always, this is just me spitting thoughts.

We're a long ways away from Kamen Rider Sleepyhead's debut. In the meantime, I'll keep gushing about my favourite gummy rider and chocolate partner.

Barty and Regulus right now are complicated. Because like they're best friends but Barty is kinda still mad but also Regulus can't really do anything to fix that it's just something Barty needs to work out on his own. So yeah :(

Wanted to talk more about their childhood during that part but realized that they didn't need to talk much about their childhood because they both lived it mostly together (until Sirius was 15) so what they really needed to talk about was Sirius' time with Alphard and the difference in how they deal with thier parents. <3333

Alphard haunts this narrative I fear. A lot of this plot is dealing with things the character's have repressed and not dealt with and I fear Alphard is THE repressed narrative right now for Sirius and to be honest Regulus soooo

i'm no good at predictions but what do you think about this 4* line-up for the 4.5 anniversary event?

ena (focus) - minori - kohane - mmj miku or vbs luka. probably ichika for bf. toya or nene or mafuyu for the second one, but i'm really unsure.

ik kana5 will be just before this but considering the fact that l/n just had 2 consecutive mixed focuses i wouldn't put it past them to pull something like this. and besides, i can't see what other unit would be the focus. and i don't think they'll pull another all vs banner; they'll probably be featured in the hakolims instead.

ena's already been on a .5 banner but since kaito has been on half annis twice i don't want to discard that possibility. plus ena is way overdue for another focus, and a limited one at that. there's a slim chance it may be a mizuki focus instead, but maybe i'm just delusional. i'm crossing out mafuyu as a potential focus because they haven't given a character 3 consecutive limited mixes before, but who knows. sega has been unpredictable lately. kohane and minori also haven't received lims in months, so it seems appropriate. i suspect they're saving vbs luka until the next hakolim for that unit, and ik that she's recently got a 4*, but i also wouldn't be surprised if mmj is the suspected wedding-themed hakolim in may, and miku would probably get her lim there. (ik that mmj already has 4 hakolims but vbs does not need a THIRD wedding focus (if that's the case) and the timing doesn't work well for the other units, even if i believe that it should go to n25 instead). i can't see n25 len or kaito because they both just got lims, and again, kaito's already been in the half-anni twice. so i don't know, maybe we won't get a virtual singer, but i have no idea who else.

sorry about the length, but i wanted to share my thoughts. the current tsukasa mix and kana5 annoucement really ruined our predictions.

oh yeah absolutely not putting it past them for b2b niigo like. 4.5 has to be either mafuyu or ena banner unless they start doing 4th mixed events, which i doubt. the only other options are emu (emu6 next month), airi (capped on lims), shiho (guaranteed april hakolim) or mizuki (i mean it could be her but i doubt it considering she's on 5th). another vs banner doesn't really work either you're right on that.

ena is due for a mixed focus that's true, she's also just really due for a 4* card in general. ive seen this prediction a lot and cant deny it's a possibility. my main issue is that no character has had another character as rateup on 4/5 of their events so far, and if mafuyu was on kanade5 that would put her on 4/5 kanade events. but then again clpl kinda shot themselves in the foot with wle event pacing so who gaf knmf rateup no.10 billion sure.

minori is absolutely a lock for 4.5. i don't foresee a mmj hakolim over summer and she has to get a lim by august at latest, so her only shot is now. i mean unless they do something about that may lim slot having a wle running over it. kohane also needs a lim, but due to vbs being in america rn, having her as a major player in the story (generally is expected of the 4* characters) would make the writing really clunky. Edit: Oh yeah also vbs wle is just after i forgor 💀

bfes has to be a ln girl, my guess is ichika. we also know ln is getting a hakolim at the end of next month, that also can't have a vs card, locking saki to the banner. it's also probably shiho5, so that locks her too. so fes ichika and event honami or vice versa. as for the pair on fes, nene or luka. luka needs a lim by august (which admittedly could be vbs) but she's also the ln vsinger so would make sense to pair with ichika. nene's an obvious choice to pair with ichika and if we apply the logic of no character can be on 4/5 of another character's events, this probably removes her from the pretty much guaranteed rui5 hakolim in june, so that fixes that problem. alternatively if they decide to save ichika for 5th anni bfes to put her with miku (obvious choice for 5th anni bfes), then ig you could pair honami with mafuyu maybe? or luka again. if nene isn't fes she works for event too. maybe. she was on 4th. and she's probably 4* on emu6.

honestly i wouldnt be surprised if they just did 3 character rateup again solely due to the sheer amount of characters who cannot be on this banner (at least 18 out of 26 and that's me being generous).
