AYAKA is good at showing a brave face, she'll smile and express her concerns and wishes for your quick recovery, but you know her to well to be fooled. Seeing you sick in bed reminds her of her parents before their death and even though she knows you don't have anything near as serious, it forces her to face the fact that she could lose you, just like she lost them. She might not even realize at first that she is acting like everything is fine as if you were just a friend. You have to comfort her and tell her you'll be okay, it's nothing serious, you'll get better in no time. Take her in your arms and she might start sobbing that she can't lose you.

You're surrounded by only the best everything. The best doctors, the best food, the best sheets, the best medicine, nothing is too big for your comfort and well-being. She'll stay with you as much as possible, snuggled against your side if possible, and help you pass the time in any way you want or are able too. Board games? Books? Talking? Drawing? Anything for you, she'll send someone to get it probably Thoma.

She is very soft and sweet, and she is very good at making you follow the doctors' orders should you disagree with them. You have absolutely no choice but to take some rest, eat the proper food, take your medicine, all that stuff. She'll track any sign of improvement and might even keep a secret journal to give the doctors if you're not getting better as fast as predicted.

AYATO is... busy. He'll always keep an eye on you, except it won't be his, but his retainers' or some member of the Shuumatsuban'. He is worried, of course, and he will make sure you have access to any means necessary for your recovery (the best doctors, proper medicine, several retainers at your service, but also several guards to protect you), but he won't be there during the day. Someone is giving him updates every hour, but he is a busy man and he has other important things to do, especially since he knows you're in good hands and he couldn't do much for you anyway.

However, he will make absolutely sure that it is a regular illness and than 1) you haven't been poisoned, 2) no one will see it as an opportunity to hurt you or kidnap you to reach him. And he will be thorough in his investigation, and he won't take any risk. He might not show it much, but he is fiercely protective of you, and there will be hell to pay if he discovers your state is not 100% natural.

Once he gets home though (even earlier than usual!), he'll do his best to spend as much time with you as he can. He'll do his paperworks in the bedroom if he has to, but he feels much more at ease now that he can keep an eye on you himself. A lot of forehead kisses, hands cupping your cheeks, and foreheads pressed together to check your temperature regularly. He will happily cuddle with you if you don't have a fever and if you ask him to, whispering in your ear that he loves you and he'll make sure you get better as fast as possible.

Ooooh, oh no, nope, absolutely not. The moment DILUC hears the single sniffle, everything in his body screams to take care of you. At first he'll simply voice his concerns as long as it's not too bad, but when it gets too serious? You're not leaving the bed until you've been examined by several doctors. You have at least three maids just outside your door ready to obey any order, and they're checking up on you every hour.

He does his best to not be overwhelming but you're all he can think of, and he gets absolutely nothing done. He doesn't even bother trying to work at the tavern, and switch his shifts with other people so he can watch over you spend time with you and make sure you're getting better and nothing is getting worse. You can try to reassure him that you're not in any mortal danger, but none of your words reach him. If you allow it, he wants to lay down next to you and hold you close, all his senses in high alert in case the slightest thing is wrong.

He is very, very distressed if you have a fever and he can't touch you because of his body temperature. You'll find him looking at you like a kicked puppy, simply holding your hand and kissing the back of it from time to time. He is reluctant to let you do anything, and will hover the whole time, but in the end he will follow the doctors' advices at the letter, including food, rest, activities, and medicine.

F I N A L L Y someone reasonable with your damn cold. KAEYA is much more relaxed than the above dumbasses. He sees your illness for what it is: something to be taken seriously and treated, but to not get grey hair over. He is very observant, so he'll probably notice something is wrong even before you do. He'll be very soft and sweet about it too, with only some light teasing.

He is a good care taker. Call for a doctor, bring you your medicine at the right hour, make sure you rest and don't exert yourself, and buy some easy to digest food at Good Hunter. You won't leave the house, but you can go in the next room with him only keeping his eye on you. He'll be softer than usual, but won't treat you all that different.

He might take some days off at the worst of your illness though, just to make sure everything is alright and to take care of you. Perfect man to have close when you have a fever, and he will absolutely take advantage of that to run his cold hands everywhere on your body and maybe tickle you a tiny bit if you're well enough. When he goes back to work, he makes sure to come from time to time to check on you, and if he can't he'll have someone else do it and report it back to him.

ZHONGLI knows you'll be alright, he has seen humans getting sick and then getting better in no time at all. But he has also seen humans getting sick and not getting better, so he can't help but be worried. He loves you, and he can't lose you. He doesn't even try to do anything else, he won't go to work or get out the house, he is staying there with you to take care of you. He is taken by surprise by how incredibly protective he instantly gets when the doctor is here to examine you.

The man has to take a moment to stop growling at the thought of anyone else coming here while you're in a vulnerable state. He lets them come in though, because he knows he is being ridiculous and you need to be seen by a professional, but he is tensed the whole time they are here, keeping his arms around you. As soon as they get out, he is over you, holding you close, softly growling, telling you it's alright, he is here to protect you and nothing is going to harm you. He sends someone else to get all the necessary medication and grocery you might need, and then he is in the room with you.

You can ask for pretty much anything, except the presence of someone else or him getting too far away. He'll cook for you, read to you, hold you close, anything for you really. He doesn't want you doing any kind of effort either, he is carrying you everywhere and helping you with everything. This man will bathe you himself, and no amount of arguing will sway him. He gets quite assertive, needing to be in control to make sure you'll get better, and might even growl at you and manhandle you back to bed if you are being "too difficult".

— the purely positive yang energy filled exorcist chongyun is quite the fan of the spoken tales of liyue, so oftentimes he’ll ask you to come along with him when he knows you have the time.

— he may invite you to the library or anywhere else that stores or rehearses stories, but most times he’ll bring you along to listen to the stories of iron tongue tian at third-round knockout, where you both may find yourself immersed in the story within minutes of its start.

— every now and then, he’ll casually whisper to you some commentary in regards to the story, asking for your’s as well. though, some random thoughts might end up mixed in as well. ‘i wonder if this really is based off a true story,’ and ‘ah, wait, i ran out of popsicles..’ are just some of the phrases you may hear.

— though, sometimes between the two of you, it’s just plain silence as you listen to the words of the storyteller before you. not that it’s any issue, it’s a comfortable silence and you know for a fact that you’ll end up indulging in long commentary and critique when the story is done.

— whenever ganyu gets a break off a work, she particularly likes to spend her free time at wangshu inn. and, when she knows that you’re free too, she finds it in herself to invite you to spend time there with her.

— frequently with you, she loves to just relax and engage in conversation with you, about just anything really, as she drinks some water in a tea cup and offers to get you your preferred beverage. every now and then she might unconsciously bring up work, so don’t hesitate to remind her that this is her time off.

— most of the time it’s random small talk, though it’s also just a sort of ‘go with the flow’ sort of thing, if you get that. he might ask you about your time in mondstat, or if you’re strong enough ( especially if you have a vision ), he’ll ask if you want to join him on his knightly excursions. though he really just wants a lesser load, it’s nice to fight alongside you as well. if you’re up for it.

— though he won’t invite you if it’s particularly dangerous, he’s still sure to tell you all about it, whether through an elaborate and possibly exaggerated tale or a dramatized complaint of the overwork. he might not be able to tell you some bits, due to having to keep things private for the knights of favonius, but he’ll tell you whatever he can mention, if you’re interested.

— back on the topic of random conversation, he actually gossips quite a bit with you about whatever it is he happened to overhear that particular day. all in good fun though, unless you have any drama you’re willing to share, which he is ready to listen to, with commentary and everything.

— it was a bit hard to pin down exactly where she’d like to hang out with you, so taking inspiration from her story quest, most likely she’d take you around inazuma city, visiting various locations all the while.

— now, it’s not exactly the calmest of times to hang out with her, but she does her best to make you feel comfortable nonetheless. perhaps she may bring you to a restaurant to try the foods, or to ‘oruga textiles & kimonos’ to get some inazuman fashion advice.

— she might accidentally end up busying herself along the way, but not to worry, because whenever this is the case she promises to make it up to you, and make it up to you she does. at the end of every outing, she’ll invite you to kamisato manor, drinking tea and chatting away until it’s time for you to resign for the day.

✧ her hair is very long and sometimes she doesn’t feel like managing it, so that’s where you come in. you gladly offer to brush out and rebraid her hair. she wouldn’t stray far from her original hairstyle, but she may let you do something different with it— no guarantee she‘ll wear it out though. not a fan of clips, her hair is too thick for them anyway. she does very much enjoy your fingers running across her scalp though.

✧ she thought she wouldn’t like it at first because ayato used to do her hair when they were younger, but she soon figured out that was because he wasn’t gentle. your fingers carefully swept through her hair while pulling it up in her usual ponytail. she ended up closing her eyes without even realizing. when you finished you could tell she was disappointed, so you just continued to play with it. she sat there feeling like she was in heaven. you end up having to do her hair at least once a week.

"would you mind playing with my hair again? please."

XIAO

✧ was reluctant at first. his hair is short so he doesn’t bother doing anything with it and he doesn’t understand why you would want to play with it. you’d have to explain that you think his hair is super soft and that’d it’d be relaxing for him before he agrees. once he feels your nails run across his scalp he’s down. instantly melts against you and might doze off. that gives you the chance to put cute clips in his hair that he’d normally never let you do.

KAZUHA

✧ he was happy you asked! he had no problem with you putting his hair in braids or adding colorful accessories, he was just glad you were having fun. he wouldn’t get embarrassed when you’d finish one hairstyle before pulling back and snickering a little before starting another. he liked that he was able to make you laugh, even if it was because he looked silly. he’d sit and talk to you, or listen to you talk, and it would overall just be a cute activity.

Ever since her familiar left to meditate in her little plane for a few centuries, Yae found that she easily got bored with the mortals and their traditions. When you came along, an immortal being who seemed to have all the time in the world to wander as you pleased, a newfound excitement erupted from within her and fueled her to make conversation. It turned out to be one of the best conversations she's had in years. You were smart, witty and had an interesting sense of humour that could make her laugh effortlessly, to the point where her cheeks hurt. Ei could never do that, I mean she could, but it always had to be Miko who initiated a conversation. To put it simply, she loved you but oh did it make her blood boil when she saw you with thise Yashiro Commissioners.

It all started when you stopped to help Thoma with the groceries he was due to take back to the Kamisato Estate. He was a very friendly person, call him a bundle of sunshine if you may, and you only made him smile a lot wider when you complimented his vision, headband and sense of humour. You even made him blush at one point! He found delight in your company, so why not go extend that happiness to the Kamisato Clan? Ayaka was very shy to meet you, her heart already fluttering when she met your gaze. Ayato on the other hand was a lot bolder in shaking your hand and caressing your hair upon introduction, and decided to invite you for dinner. They were all on cloud nine, but seeing you go out with the Shuumatsuban and firework girl made their smiles falter.

Yoimiya and Sayu are polar opposites yet with you, they share many common interests.

Sayu liked resting her head on your lap without fearing the shrine maidens since you were well acquainted with the Guuji, and Yoimiya didn't mind taking a nap to recharge either. The sound of the fireworks made excellent background noise for the Shuumatsuban to slumber through whilst you and Yoimiya simply watched without a care in the world, chewing on dango and holding hands. Sweet smiles were exchanged between you two and she lay her head on your shoulder; finding it comfy. Times like this made both of the girls forget what Inazuma used to be like, they could just bask in your presence quietly... Until that oni came along.

Itto + You = the most wholesome team ever!

Itto always made sure to keep his hair in good condition - but even more so now that you've entered his life. From piggyback rides to onikabuto wrestling, he cherished every moment he had with you. Whenever he saw you, he'd run up to you and engulf you in his embrace, you silently suffocating in his manboobs, and whenever you parted he would run his fingers through your hair and squish your cheeks. Arataki pretty much saw you as his other half. His Arataki to his Itto. His dango to his milk. His soulmate. You were perfect to him, and you saw him as nothing but perfect too! Swinging each other around and running through tall grass together. The perfect combination. The only combination that wasn't perfect was seeing you and the shogun's most devoted tengu walking together on the outskirts of Inazuma city.
