Do any of you use book apps? For example: Goodreads, Story Graph, Bookmory, or Hoopla?
I’m sick of Goodreads, so I was looking through the App Store and it was surprising how many new apps there are for books.

ARC reviewers wanted!
Please reblog if you know any avid readers who frequently review books online! Especially if they enjoy novels containing: - fae - witches - angst-free queerness - romance - a cozy noblebright mood even amid magical disaster - '90s cover bands I seek reviewers and general word-of-mouth-spreaders for my novel Ballad for Jasmine Town, which contains all of the above. (As to the romance and queerness, the main couple is a trans man and a bi woman, in case you prefer to know such details.) It can be requested on NetGalley and Edelweiss right now, or I could email you an ARC in PDF or epub format.
Here is the publisher page if you’d like to read more about it. (Though distributed by Simon & Schuster, the book is independent-press-published. The publishing world is complicated.) For those who've read Lava Red Feather Blue: it takes place in the same country and has some overlapping events, but you don't have to read one book to make sense of the other. They are both stand-alones. Thank you in advance, and I hope it finds some happy readers!

Hierarchy of the Unseen ARCs are available now!
Tumblr media
What's an ARC? An unproofed but almost finished copy of a book sent to readers before release date in the hopes of generating buzz and acquiring early reviews
What is Hierarchy of the Unseen? The latest fantasy novel by B. Pigeon and Fell A. Marsh, following a devout, guilt-ridden demon hunter named Mitzli and a shiftless, self-absorbed demon named Kor as they attempt to uncover the secrets behind a sudden wave of demonic violence. HotU is great for fans of diverse & unique worlds, fantasy theology, atypical demons & angels, character-driven stories with stakes, queer/trans protagonists, and more.
What's the timeline? Ebooks are available now, and we'll have a limited run of paperbacks going out in mid-May!
How do I learn more? Read the full summary and content notes on this Google Form & Booksirens! We should get back to you in a day if you're chosen to receive a copy :)
Thanks for reading and we hope you enjoy! -- B & Fell

Tirrrrred of book reviews being like "ew this isn't kink this is a literal crime" instead of "I'm a fan of these particular themes usually but this author did them horribly."
Like people can dislike what they dislike and talk about it, make videos, whatever. But why is it IMPOSSIBLE to find a book reviewer that doesn't judge the kink something was clearly written for.
I don't even think the books they're reviewing sound that good storywise, either! But it's because of the writer's choicesssss. It's because of bad writing and story developmenttttt.

Who wants an ARC of my pirate book?
I'm looking for semi-pro/professional book reviewers who would be interested in my 2024 duology about a pseudo-regency/Victorian liege who gets kidnapped by pirates.
I have more pitch if you wanna open a conversation but super quick it's:
Adult fantasy
We have the Known and Unknown Seas, magic exists on the Unknown Seas but has been chased out of the Known World.
Nat (our MC) is nonbinary and bi and their love interests are both bi (it is not polyamory, it's just shifting from one LI to another with no big fault or villainisation)
What I'd like from you
A space you do reviews (blog, tube, gram, tok, idc)
Willingness to review on said space AND Goodreads/the Storygraph
I don't mind if you're new to this whole shebang, I have no specific follower count you have to meet. I do, however, reserve the right to pick people with the right vibes and gently let down folks without
What I offer
Pdf of the manuscript (either only book 1 or the full omnibus as agreed)
Png of the cover image and/or paperback wrap
Possible future books review relationship
Feel free to check out my short stories if you're wanting an impression of style but honestly just shoot me a DM or whatever (I promise I'll be nice even if you have "stupid" questions)

My cover reveal is TOMORROW! In the meantime, if you are a librarian, bookseller, book blogger, reviewer, or ARC reader, you can find THE SHABTI on Edelweiss+. Check it out if you're looking for a spooky, queer, noirish thriller that feels like The Mummy (1932) meets Nightmare Alley with a healthy dose of romance mixed in.

Yaaay free books! I know you all love some free books. I'm offering a copy of Abduction Seduction to anyone who will leave me a review. Only caveat is that you must be over 18 and check out the CWs here!
The book itself has a pretty extensive CW page inside, but if you want to know what you're getting into before asking for a copy, there you go!
