Hello everyone! I am looking for beta readers for my historical fantasy novel, A Drink to the Monstrous. 🩸 It's 100k words long, and you would be asked to fill in three feedback forms over the course of your reading. 

Pitch: 

Paris, 1901. Sasha Rousseau knows how unkind the world can be to the monstrous and the queer. That’s why she opened the Alcove, a club where anyone is free to be themselves — except vampires. These are creatures of appetite. Where they lurk, violence follows.  Sasha can cast her share of protective spells, but she’s yet to find one that can pay her rent. When she is offered a ridiculous sum to help solve a murder, she usually wouldn’t hesitate. It’s life-changing money — enough to buy the Alcove. But this offer is coming from Isadora Valori: a whip-smart, ambitious, infuriating wretch. And the one vampire Sasha loathes most of all.  Isadora has no memories left of what happened between them, centuries ago; Sasha intends to keep it that way. If she can keep her secrets and her temper, she can solve this case, get paid, and never see Isadora again.  That is no easy feat with the obsessive loathing beating in her chest. Especially when it seems that though Isadora does not loathe her back, the obsession is very much mutual.  But with woundless corpses piling up and a murderer capable of poisoning memories, solving this case may awaken more dangerous ghosts than old betrayals.

Hi! I wrote a whole 9-10k one-shot about the Reader/"You" getting yeeted into Genshin Impact, and becoming an Eldritch God (lmao this is so niche)

Open Call for an additional Beta Reader!

Hello hello!

I'm in need of an additional beta reader for a TGCF longfic called Paper Memories (the sequel to Never Forget, Never Forgive). I would prefer someone who's familiar with the prequel, but its not required. This is an Established Hualian canon divergence fic with multiple POVs.

It will be posted in two separate parts with a hiatus inbetween, but right now I'm only worried about Part One. Part One is rated T or M, so there's no smut (just unresolved sexual tension). It's mostly interpersonal drama, angst, fluff, and mystery. You can DM me if you have any specific triggers to worry about.

Mostly what I'm looking for is feedback on sentence flow, pacing, plot holes and veering ooc. Less worried about grammar. Also, I use google docs for editing/ sharing.

I'll just be up front, it's a lot of words. I'm aware that its a lot to ask, but if you like the previous fic and have the time on your hands and a love for editing, please hit me up! Right now I've got about 9 chapters done and about 70k words ready for review, and I've got about 9 more chapters to go! (and this is only Part One 😂)

I'm trying to finish writing P1 by New Years, and hopefully start posting it in January, so that gives you an idea for the time frame. I know the holidays can make things difficult, so if this is a very busy time for you, it might not be worth the hassle. While posting part one, I'll be writing part two, and you can decide then if you'd like to continue or not. Part Two will be rated E 😅.

If I can get the majority of this beta'd before even posting, that's the ideal scenario, but once I start I will be posting one chapter a week. It would be best to get far ahead rather than to end up in a weekly time crunch!

hello everyone!! small life update, i am so busy and being tortured by school rn (pro tip do not take 3 labs two of them being 2 hours long in one semester) im still here but no new drawings for awhile, sorry!

i’ve started redoing inking and adding some new content and pages, but it’ll be awhile until it’s up for purchase

i’m also working on an alt ver mermaid au oneshot fanfiction for it but i need a beta reader since im not sure what’s happening to my current one

the general criteria is you must be fluent/or proficient in english writing, and preferably over the age of 18 (but 16 may be adequate). some things you may need to fix is my embarrassing grammar and putting things in active voice.

the fanfiction is basically a darker version of my comic (call it an Another Story ver or Flipside ver or Bad Ending ver if that makes sense) it’s warnings are graphic descriptions of violence, employee abuse/employee mistreatment, blood, major character death, dead dove sort of (cannibalism) but there is no non-con or sexual content

preferably the beta reader would be someone who is already familiar with my work and have read my comic + has a good grasp of characterization of alhaitham and kaveh. if you want to beta read and fit under these criteria; send me a dm! or comment and i’ll send you a dm!!
