The Monday of Holy Week is one of my favorite days of the year. There’s a post about it somewhere. Yes, yes, the cleansing of the temple. The cursing of the tree. But more than that— he knows what is coming. He rode into Jerusalem to cries of the people he could not help but love—“save us Lord,” “Deliver us,” “Please, rescue us.” They didn’t know just how soon those Hosannahs would be answered, or at what cost, or that it would be on a cosmic scale so much bigger than a Messiah who would exist to take down a government. But he did. How much of that Holy Monday was spend ducking into corners to catch his breath, on the precipice of tears of love and joy and grief as the sun shines on the apostles’ faces? What did he think about at night as Mary and Lazarus’s house was finally quiet with sleep? Etc and so forth

Thinking about how as a girl, Mary likely looked down at her son in wonder.

She just endured the pains of childbirth in a stable, her face is probably lying still stained with tears, but he's here. Her son, tiny and soft. some boys, shepherds they said, clambered into the stable as more angels than they could count said to. Her husband holding her as she holds this miracle child. And all she can do is look at her little boy awestruck, wondering what his life will end.

Thinking about as a woman, Mary had to look up at her son in horror.

Surrounded by crowds mocking him. Her son, grown and wounded. he bleeds with more wounds than she could ever hope to bandage up. He's barely said a word, to anyone. His only, his final words to her were to say she was to be another man's mother now. Much like that first night, tears well up in her eyes as all she can do is watch his torture and death.

What a thing it must be for a fic writer to have others, friends, to support them in producing a longer work. I see acknowledgements at the end of fics I read and I seethe with jealousy.

I've put down over to 500k words in the years I'd written fanfic. I'm fortunate that some of those have been surprisingly well received. But it's always been a completely lonely process for me.

In all my years I have never been able to get to the bottom of what it is about me that makes it so difficult for me to acquire friends.

Anyway, I never thought I'd ever get to post these two together in the size featured here, and, for example, this is perhaps the biggest I've ever seen Solomon Grundy as illustrated by AR with the rest of the L.O.D., and he looks gloriously zombified to boot. Sinestro goes without saying! Impeccably malicious, PERIOD! "WE ARE LEGION!"

Everything is still heavily under embargo for the moment, so for now that means I'll work in silence and keep things vague. But remember when I said 2025 was going to be my year? Cliché as it is, I think something amazing manifested invisibly so in the background for me. Something I couldn't yet comprehend

The last weeks I feel so happy and driven in my work+life again, now I know I'm finally onto something great, promising and bound-to-succeed after the AI-induced schism into the communications field. Though of course, I fiercely reject "success" as the sole determinating factor for my own (and any person's) value, it shouldn't come as a shock that despite our ill-functioning and defective capitalist system, I still want to succeed in a secured future for myself - just like anybody else. Because of the long-term security of communications field being turned upside down, I grappled with that for the past +1 year.

I didn't plan on it, but recently I let my genuine interest, passion & love for nature (and our planet and its people on it) take lead, and when I did just that, I got aligned with something great. A professional chapter that resonates with my values, my essence, visions and ambitions. And by not thinking in any limits any longer, and having done plenty of market analysis, I identified a gaping gap in our current commercial landscape. Ran into a field that's highly specific and in that way it even is unknown terrain for me (yet with the help of smart product strategy, an intensive crash course of this terrain and the aid of people I know that work in this field, I can slowly yet steadily thankfully improve & expand my know-how. Tho due to embargo I cannot simply let anybody into my idea – much as I'd like to, I'm usually an open book).

Then, last but not least, I got insanely lucky. Having crossed paths with the right person. Being handed over the tools to build & construct my road toward realizing and officially launching this idea.

What I mean to say is, to confidently believe in your own ideas without hesitation, to believe again in the brightness of your future, and your contribution to the world is powerful, impactful energy. After having felt lost and a lil astray since Nov 2023, I sought for paths that bundled my energy best. I'm independent, unconventional, a little stubborn sometimes (hey I work on this), I can't be tied down to an office-chair for the rest of my life. I want to stay close to my essence and preferably too, to nature.
