"mama!" fran called out as she walked downstairs into the kitchen. rubi was doing her homework at the counter as fernando and y/n cooked dinner- some seafood dish that smelled absolutely amazing. fran plopped herself down on the seat next to her younger sister and watched her parents. fernando turned to her from the stove and raised an eyebrow, "hm mami?" he asked her. the oldest daughter rolled her eyes, "papa, i wasn't talking to you" she sighed, fernando grinned, shaking his head, "mama and i are basically the same" he chimed, turning back to the stove, y/n chuckled and turned to fran "yes, mija?" she asked, smiling at her eldest, she was such an angel. fran pulled out her phone and showed her mother the tweet. y/n frowned, "no posts from mrs. alonso?" she read out, raising her eyebrow, "posts from what? why are they getting weaker? do you know this person?"

francesca sighed, "mama they want you to post on your instagram, thats what they mean."

y/n's eyebrows furrowed together in confusion, "hmph, i didn't know people were waiting on me to post... fernando, did you know this?" fernando frowned himself, turning away from the stove once again, "no i didn't know this fact." he too, leaning forward to read the tweet on fran’s phone. he shrugged, "tal vez sea una señal (maybe its a sign)"

New Headcanon RE: Suo's eating habits

Suo actually is a picky eater

Like, in the way that he has issues, sometimes randomly, with both texture and taste

So it's just a LOT easier to say he's "on a diet" and then figure out how to eat things at home

Furin has figured out so far that:

Suo will eat small bites of things if you keep handing them to him - and KEEP handing it to him, even when he sets it down

You CANNOT MENTION IT. If you bring it up, it dispels the magic! He won't eat it then! DON'T SAY ANYTHING!

His social politeness makes it hard for him to turn down food gifts from the Makochi community

Those things are often the easiest thing to get him to try

His expression changes on things that he really doesn't WANT to eat (but you gotta be paying attention)

Sakura can get him to try anything once so long as it is something Sakura also hasn't tried

Nirei is good at describing and breaking foods down to flavors and textures which makes Suo more comfortable trying things

They need to be subtle cause Suo is obviously not comfortable with his food issues

They're not super good at being subtle

Suo thinks it's super childish and kinda hates that he has this issue because he hates being "childish" more than like anything. He'd rather get punched in the face.

But he hates having to be accommodated more

And it's something he's already been dealing with and doesn't feel like he needs to change anything

His family growing up also thought it was "all in his head" or a hold up on being a kid so they also didn't try to accommodate him

Umemiya is horrified - the food man did not know one of his little bros COULDN'T EAT HIS FOOD. It tears him up a bit

Nirei has a second book that is "top top secret" with the foods and styles of food they've gotten Suo to eat

Tsugeura is actually really good at making like "hidden food" recipes, like the ones where the veggies are hidden and don't taste/texture like the veggies

Kiryuu will use all of his father's money to buy Suo all the tea and tea cakes he wants. It's not an issue. He would and has bought worse.

Sugishita cares but also won't push about it because that's not his personality; if Suo is sitting with Sugishita then everyone knows he's Not Eating today. Sugishita can and will snap fingers if someone tries to bug him

Sakura is clumsily concerned and awkwardly trying to help in his own ways. If for no other reason than Sakura is reaching out first, Suo will try his hardest to eat whatever Sakura puts in front of him

The gist is, they love each other your honor and Suo's disordered eating is Important To Me.

I think he starts wearing it right around when he becomes Shiro's familiar, because the one thing his human guise can't disguise is his overall body shape (they can't do anything about that one) and his general facial features. But he can at least partially hide his face!

I don't think he starts wearing the oni mask specifically right away, when I think about it- there's been other incarnations before that. He picks that one up when Yukio's in middle school at a festival, and it becomes his de facto new mask after that point.

(Naturally, he does not let Yukio see him buy it. He also spends all his allowance on it, so he has to plead with Yukio to buy him festival food with his, lmao. Shiro asks him about it later, and he gleefully shows it to him. Looks cool, right?

Regarding types of magic in multiple realms,

I don't know if this is controversial, but I just wanted to talk about my thoughts and feelings on the matter since I've seen discussions around physical magis and pop culture witchcraft magis and puella magis. First off, you can use magic in the physical realm. It isn't "impossible". IRL chunnibyous/magic users (we don't use chunni as a negative term or to call people fake) have been using magic in the physical realm for years. I've always felt more at home with IRL magic users than magical heros, and I think it is because of a few Discord servers a long time ago that were packed with misinformation about magical heros, and because I learned most of what I know from them, I still have those ideas, and it's hard to tell which is and isn't right. The only reason I am an astral puella magi is because of them. It is both good and bad. I don't regret being an astral puella magi, but I became that specifically because I didn't know there were other options. Some people told me that becoming a puella magi through pop culture witchcraft and astral projection was the only way you could be a magi. I hope any aspiring magi reading this will know they have a choice in the matter of how you become and what kind of magical hero you are. You don't even have to be a magical hero, you could be a familiar or a general magic user. You can be whatever you want. We don't think of things as "impossible" here.

No, that was a lie. You knew exactly why. It was because you were a woman, and for some twisted reason, no one wanted to see you succeed. They didn’t want you to have a strong season, so they could justify kicking you out. End your Formula 1 career before it could truly take off.

All because you were a woman.

You’d sacrificed too much, given up too many years, and bled too hard to not fight for a podium. You pushed the limits of your AMR23, ignoring the nagging voice of your race engineer.
