The Basics of Cloud Computing: A Beginner's Guide
Are you ready to embark on a journey into the world of cloud computing? If you've heard the term "cloud" thrown around but aren't quite sure what it means, you're in the right place. This beginner's guide will unravel the mysteries of cloud computing and provide you with a solid foundation to understand this revolutionary technology.
What is Cloud Computing?
To begin our journey, let's start with the basics. Cloud computing is a technology that allows you to access and use computing resources, such as servers, storage, databases, networking, software, and more, over the internet. These resources are hosted and managed by a third-party provider, which means you can leverage them without the need to invest in and maintain your hardware and software infrastructure.
Key Concepts
Understanding a few fundamental concepts is crucial when diving into cloud computing:
Cloud Services: Cloud services are the various offerings provided by cloud providers. These services can be categorized into Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
Cloud Providers: Leading companies like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud offer cloud services. Each has its own set of offerings, pricing models, and features.
Cloud Deployment Models: Cloud computing can be implemented in various ways, including public, private, and hybrid clouds.
Cloud Operations Demystified
Now that we've established the basics, let's delve deeper into the operations of cloud computing.
Data Storage and Retrieval
One of the core operations of cloud computing is data storage. Cloud providers offer highly scalable and reliable storage solutions, such as Amazon S3 and Azure Blob Storage. You can store vast amounts of data in these services and access it from anywhere in the world. Retrieving data is a breeze, thanks to the simple APIs provided by cloud providers.
Virtual Machines
Cloud providers allow you to create virtual machines (VMs) in the cloud. These VMs function just like physical computers, but you can scale them up or down as needed. It's an excellent solution for businesses that require flexibility and want to avoid the hassle of Cloud Service Models
Cloud computing offers various service models, each tailored to different business needs.
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
IaaS is the foundational layer of cloud computing. With IaaS, you can rent IT infrastructure like virtual machines, storage, and networking resources. This model provides you with full control over the underlying infrastructure, making it suitable for businesses that need more control.
Platform as a Service (PaaS)
PaaS takes things a step further. It not only provides infrastructure but also includes a set of development tools and services. With PaaS, you can focus on building and deploying applications without worrying about the underlying infrastructure.
Benefits of Cloud Computing
Cloud computing offers numerous advantages for businesses of all sizes. Let's explore some of the key benefits:
Cost-Efficiency
One of the most significant advantages of cloud computing is cost-efficiency. You only pay for the resources you use, and there's no need for upfront investments in hardware. This pay-as-you-go model allows businesses to scale their resources up or down based on demand.
Scalability
Scalability is a game-changer. Cloud computing allows you to scale your resources quickly and easily. Whether your business experiences a sudden surge in traffic or needs to downsize during slower periods, cloud computing accommodates your needs.
Cloud Security
While the cloud offers many benefits, security is a critical concern. Cloud security measures are a shared responsibility between the cloud provider and the customer.
Provider's Responsibility
Cloud providers implement robust security measures to protect the infrastructure and services they offer. This includes physical security, data encryption, and compliance with industry standards.
Customer's Responsibility
Customers are responsible for securing their applications and data on the cloud. This involves setting up access controls, encrypting sensitive information, and regularly monitoring for potential security threats.
Cloud Models
Cloud computing can be implemented in several ways. Here are the primary cloud models:
Public Cloud
Public clouds are owned and operated by cloud service providers and are available to anyone who wants to use them. They are highly scalable and cost-effective, making them a popular choice for startups and small businesses.
Private Cloud
Private clouds are dedicated to a single organization and offer more control and customization. They are ideal for enterprises with strict security and compliance requirements.
Hybrid Cloud
Hybrid clouds combine the features of both public and private clouds. This allows organizations to take advantage of the scalability of the public cloud while keeping sensitive data on a private cloud.
Cloud Terminology
As with any field, cloud computing comes with its own set of terminology. Understanding these terms is essential for navigating the cloud landscape effectively.
Virtualization
Virtualization is the process of creating a virtual version of something, like a server, storage, or network. It's a fundamental technology in cloud computing that enables resource sharing and isolation.
Elasticity
Elasticity refers to the ability to scale resources up or down quickly in response to changing demand. Cloud computing platforms offer elastic services, ensuring you have the right amount of resources when you need them.
Cloud Services in Action
Let's explore some real-world examples of cloud services in action to understand how they benefit various industries.
E-Commerce
E-commerce businesses rely on cloud computing for scalability during peak shopping seasons. With cloud resources, they can handle increased website traffic and process transactions efficiently.
Healthcare
The healthcare industry uses cloud computing to store and access patient records securely. It also facilitates telemedicine services, allowing doctors to connect with patients remotely.
The Future of Cloud Computing
Cloud computing continues to evolve, with new technologies and trends on the horizon. Keep an eye on developments like edge computing, serverless computing, and AI-driven cloud services.
In conclusion, cloud computing is a game-changing technology that has transformed the way we access and utilize computing resources. By understanding the fundamentals, you're now equipped to explore the world of cloud operations, service models, benefits, security, and more. As you continue your cloud computing journey, remember to stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in this dynamic field. The cloud has limitless potential, and it's an exciting space to be a part of. Happy cloud computing!

Theory - plot is pretty much revealed
We have pretty much been given the plot.
The Hint
Job is a psychiatrist and is doing his research on patient experiences after a cardiac arrest.
Patient 1 - At the time i did not feel anything. It was all black. When i woke up, I was on the operating table and incubated.
Patient 2 - I saw bright light and explains out of body experience. She saw people in white.
Patient 3 - I don't know what happened. I lived life normally. But it was my life in the past. Like the past was playing again in my mind. That feeling felt very real. But one thing did not feel real. I could see 4 minutes into the future.
And, how did we start this show?
A senior doctor entering a vip room, with number 4...and if you are paying attention, it is bible on the bed..dying of heart issues. Everytime we get a flatline, scene cuts to jess/tyme being shot!
What is happening is that Great/Bible is on the operating table in room number 4, and doctor is shocking his heart. Whatever we are seeing are Bible's thoughts at the time he is on the operating table - the past before him reaching the operating table.
He is living his life normally but time flow is not normal because we are in a dream/thought world. Events jump back and forth. He can see into the future because it is his past and his mind already knows what is going to happen (room # 4, why starting with accident because the event let him meet Jess back in the past).
And, everytime he gets a shock on operating table, we see him get a heart attack in the lift or wherever. ( Now, if you are wondering why is time gap so large between shocks/heart palpitations in his "regular world".. lol.. because we are not in regular world.. we are in his thoughts.. ofcourse timeflow will be different.. you can think of a million things in nanosecond)
********************************************************
So, overall i think every patient's experience is going to matter. E.g. the religious one who had out of body experience tells us that either bible will have out of body experience or like her, he is also seeing what is most important to him - his love of life Jess and events linked to him - from meet, greet, to end.
Jess died (and eerily same place where dad is running shady business by a man wearing the black suit).....
*************************************************************
So, did the woman survive who was hit by the car - LOL, NO!!!
She DIED. that's why bible had the premonition twice... because that happened!.. he can wish for an alternate ending in his mind/dreams but she died... eventually his mind will have to adjust to reality.
However, Jess is not dead because his killing is happening at the same time while Bible is on the operating table... so yea.. he is going to save Jess somehow...
*********************************************************
Other things
Bas is taking over the shady business so yes, he is the villain killing both Great and Tyme
Why? Because Great and Tyme are lovers and investigating together
What? Death of tyme's ex girlfriend - this lady
And, lastly, hence the ost.. and trailer we got.. where the final words were "something that didn't even exist"
lol.. nothing exists.. Great's mind is playing its own tricks.. running away from the guilt of killing someone, still main events will happen so that life broadly remains the same - for us, the viewers
#Ost lyrics mattered#We are in mind of someone on the operating table#4 minutes#bible sumettikul#great x tyme#be on cloud#fuaiz thanawat#4 minutes the series#jes jespipat#fan theory
