Low Calorie High Protein Greek Salad
There are just 380 calories and 35.3g of protein in this low-calorie, high-protein Greek salad! In addition, I've provided meal prep advice, six different salad dressing options, and more. This recipe was created for meal prep lunches and dinners, but I've also begun using it for evening quick meals. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, and it's that simple!

Ingredients You’ll Need:
⅛ teaspoon garlic salt
1 boneless skinless chicken breast
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Olive oil spray
¼ cup uncooked quinoa
½ cup water
Salad Ingredients:
3 cup mixed greens
¼ cup Homemade Greek Salad Dressing
::Ingredients for dressing ::
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
4 tablespoons red wine vinegar
½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 garlic clove minced
⅛ cup extra-virgin olive oil
¼ cup vegetable broth
Instructions
To a medium bowl or jar, add the lemon juice, vinegar, mustard, oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic.
Whisk together or add the lid to the jar and shake well.
Add in the oil and broth and whisk or shake again until combined.
Serve over Greek Salad, or use as a marinade. Will hold in the fridge, covered, for up to 1 week.
10 cherry tomatoes
2 inch cucumber
¼ cup pitted kalamata olives
¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
½ tablespoon chopped Italian parsley (optional)
Ingredients Greek chicken ⅛ teaspoon of salt with garlic One chicken breast, skinless and boneless Half a lemon's juice Spray of olive oil Quinoa Half a cup of raw quinoa and half a cup of water Ingredients for a salad: Three cups of mixed greens Use romaine or spinach, or a combination of the two. A quarter cup of homemade Greek salad dressing Ten cherry tomatoes cut in half, and a two-inch cucumber cut in half and sliced Half a cup of kalamata olives, pitted Half a cup of feta cheese, crumbled Optional: ½ tablespoon of chopped Italian parsley Directions Directions for Greek Chicken: Season the chicken with the garlic salt. Lightly coat a big skillet with olive oil and preheat it over medium heat. When the skillet is heated, add the chicken and cook it for 8 to 10 minutes on each side, or until it is cooked through. Place the chicken on a dish to cool, squeeze half a lemon over it, and then cut into slices. Directions for Quinoa: The quinoa should be rinsed with cool water. In a small pan, combine the quinoa and water; cover and cook to a gentle boil. Cook over low heat until the water is completely absorbed. Take off the heat and place aside. Instructions for Assembling the Salad: Add the greens and salad dressing to a large bowl. After thoroughly tossing to coat, transfer the salads to two dishes. Add cooked quinoa, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, feta, and grilled chicken on top. Serve with a garnish of parsley, if using. Tips for Meal Prep: This grilled chicken salad may be prepared in advance and stored in meal prep containers. To prevent soggy greens, add the greens to your meal prep containers without adding the dressing yet. Then, add the additional ingredients on top. Fill a small container with the dressing and set it inside the meal prep container. will keep for three to four days in the refrigerator. To serve, just drizzle with the dressing and toss lightly.
Meal Planning and Storage for a Healthful Greek Salad with Chicken Meal Prep: To prepare this delicious salad, put all the ingredients in family-sized or individual meal prep containers. Do not add the dressing until you are ready to serve; instead, put it in a separate container. Storage: Does not keep well in the freezer, but will keep in the refrigerator for four to five days.
Serving suggestions: Place the salad on a big tortilla or sandwich wrap if the dressing causes the salad to become mushy. It's a fantastic way to use up sloppy salad leftovers.

Focusing on Positive Energy
I'm having better days. I've made some changes, like spending LESS time on social media and using my phone less in general.
No more using the phone on the toilet! I know it's silly, but let's be honest, that's where most social media consumption happens. Instead, I've put some comic books in the bathroom and now I enjoy reading while "taking care of business."
Tumblr is the only social media platform I still use a bit. It's a safer space, it's slower, and it helps me express my thoughts without having to interact with "people I know."
I need to get my energy and focus back.
In the morning, first things first: meditation.
Then, I go to the gym four times per week to build muscle and get stronger and stronger.
Planning my day also helps, from smaller to bigger tasks. It gives me a sense of control and fulfillment.
And last but not least, I take a lot of walks. Walking in my village, in the calm of the Dutch summer, just me and my audiobooks, calms my nerves.
Whenever bad thoughts come, I repeat my positive affirmations, which I also keep on a note on my phone. So when I'm tempted to go on social media, I open that note instead.
And when things get really bad, I blast some good music and dance around. It might sound silly, but it's scientifically proven that physical activity can improve your mood and give you a bit of endorphins to keep you happy.
So far, this is working pretty well (along with therapy), and my second week of job hunting has been less desperate than the first one.

The Science Behind Weight Loss: Understanding Calories and Metabolism
Introduction:
Weight loss is a complex process influenced by various factors, but at its core, it boils down to the balance between calories consumed and calories expended. In this post, we'll delve into the science behind weight loss, focusing on the role of calories and metabolism in shaping our body composition.
Calories:
The Basics of Energy Balance At its simplest level, weight loss occurs when you consume fewer calories than you burn. This creates a calorie deficit, prompting your body to tap into its fat stores for energy. Conversely, weight gain occurs when you consume more calories than you burn, leading to a calorie surplus, which is stored as fat.
You can try the 15-Day Cleanse - Gut and Colon Support
Understanding Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) Your basal metabolic rate (BMR) is the number of calories your body needs to maintain basic physiological functions at rest. Factors such as age, gender, weight, height, and body composition influence your BMR. While you can't change your age or gender, you can increase your BMR by building lean muscle mass through strength training and staying active.
The Role of Physical Activity in Weight Loss In addition to your BMR, physical activity plays a crucial role in determining your overall calorie expenditure. Activities such as walking, running, cycling, and strength training not only burn calories during exercise but also elevate your metabolism, leading to continued calorie burning even at rest.
Balancing Macronutrients for Optimal Weight Loss While calories are king when it comes to weight loss, the quality of those calories also matters. Balancing macronutrients – carbohydrates, proteins, and fats – in your diet can help you feel satisfied, maintain muscle mass, and support overall health. Aim for a diet rich in whole foods, including lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats.
The Importance of Consistency and Sustainability Consistency is key when it comes to weight loss. Rather than focusing on drastic short-term measures, aim for sustainable lifestyle changes that you can maintain over the long term. This might include meal planning, regular exercise, mindful eating practices, and finding healthier alternatives to your favorite foods.
Conclusion:
Achieving weight loss requires a combination of understanding calories and metabolism, adopting a balanced diet, staying active, and maintaining consistency in your efforts. By creating a calorie deficit through diet and exercise and prioritizing nutrient-dense foods, you can achieve your weight loss goals while supporting overall health and well-being.

Small Changes, Big Impact: Why Consistency Matters
In business (and life), it's the small, consistent actions that lead to the biggest changes. 🌱
Here’s a little secret: You don’t need to overhaul everything at once. If you focus on making small, manageable improvements day by day, you’ll start to see huge results.
Here’s what I mean:
Organizing a single folder every week: Just one folder. Start there. Suddenly, you’re tackling your digital clutter without feeling overwhelmed.
Reconciliations every week: Instead of waiting until the end of the month (or worse, tax season), doing small reconciliations each week means you’ll never be caught off guard.
Creating one new template: Imagine how much time you'll save if you create a template for all your financial reports or client communications. That’s one hour saved every week.
Consistency doesn’t mean perfection—it just means making progress. And when you add it all up, those little changes lead to less stress, more organization, and a smoother-running business.
Want to start small but see big results? 📩 DM me to chat about how I can help you take those first steps!

"These Habits Will Change Your Entire Life!"
Success is not built on one grand decision. It's built on the small, consistent choices you make every single day. Your life, right now, is a reflection of your habits. If you're stuck, tired, unmotivated—it’s not because you’re not good enough. It’s because your habits are not aligned with the life you want to live.
Waking up late, wasting time on distractions, procrastinating, complaining—these are not just bad habits, they are silent killers of your potential. But just imagine—what if you changed them? What if you woke up early with purpose? What if you replaced scrolling with learning? What if you stopped blaming and started building?
Life doesn’t change by chance, it changes by choice. And choices become habits. The most successful people in the world aren’t special—they just do the basics consistently. They have habits that serve them. They treat their time like gold. They don’t wait to feel motivated, they act anyway.
You don’t need to be perfect. You don’t need to overhaul your entire life in one day. All you need is a commitment to build one good habit at a time. A habit of reading. A habit of moving your body. A habit of gratitude. A habit of showing up, no matter what.
Your habits today shape your reality tomorrow. This statement may seem simple, but it holds immense power. Every action you take, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, is a vote for the person you are becoming. The way you choose to spend your mornings, how you respond to challenges, the kind of thoughts you entertain, and the people you surround yourself with—these choices are not isolated. They are the building blocks of your future.
People often believe that massive change requires massive action, but in reality, transformation begins with the habits you repeat daily. The decision to wake up early, to read instead of scrolling endlessly, to exercise when you don’t feel like it, to speak kindly to yourself—these choices compound over time. They may not show results immediately, and that’s what makes them so difficult to maintain. But what you do in private, day after day, shows up in public, sooner or later.
Most people underestimate the power of one good habit and overestimate the power of a single breakthrough moment. But breakthroughs are born from preparation, from consistency, from doing the right thing even when no one is watching. You become what you repeatedly do. Excellence is not a one-time act, it’s a lifestyle. If your current habits are leading you toward growth, you are on the right path. If they are keeping you stagnant or pulling you backward, you already know that change is necessary.
It’s easy to say you want success, happiness, or confidence. But your habits reveal your true priorities. You can say you want to write a book, but if you don’t write each day, your actions are telling a different story. You can say you want to be healthy, but if your habits revolve around poor food choices and inactivity, your future will reflect that truth. You don’t rise to the level of your goals—you fall to the level of your systems, and systems are built from habits.
Habits are also deeply connected to self-worth. When you keep promises to yourself, when you follow through on the habits that support your growth, your self-respect rises. You begin to trust yourself. That trust becomes confidence, and that confidence turns into action. Before you know it, your reality has shifted. Not because of luck or circumstances, but because you showed up for yourself consistently.
So, if you want a different life tomorrow, start by examining your habits today. Change doesn’t begin with inspiration; it begins with commitment. The life you want is already possible—it’s hidden in the habits you choose to repeat.
Consistency in small actions leads to massive transformation. This powerful idea emphasizes the importance of regular, deliberate steps toward a goal, no matter how small those steps might seem. In a world that often focuses on quick fixes, overnight success, and instant gratification, it’s easy to overlook the significance of small, consistent actions. However, these minor actions, repeated over time, hold the key to long-lasting and meaningful change.
The truth is that success doesn’t always come from big, dramatic moments. It is often the result of consistent effort applied in the right direction over a long period. Think about a plant growing. It doesn’t bloom overnight; instead, it grows slowly, little by little, until it reaches its full potential. Likewise, your progress may not always be visible right away, but each step you take, no matter how small, adds up over time. The more consistent you are in your actions, the more you move closer to your desired outcome.
When you commit to small actions every day, you build momentum. It’s the power of repetition that creates results. For example, if you want to get in shape, you don’t have to run a marathon right away. Instead, commit to walking a little each day. Gradually, your body will adapt and strengthen. Over time, your stamina will improve, and you’ll find yourself capable of more. This gradual process applies to almost any area of life—whether it’s building a business, learning a new skill, or improving your mental health.
Small actions also create positive habits, and habits are the foundation of success. Once you make a habit of doing something regularly, it no longer feels like a burden. It becomes a part of your routine, and the effort required to continue decreases. For instance, reading a few pages every day may seem insignificant, but after a few months, you’ll have read several books. Writing a single paragraph daily may not seem like much, but in time, you’ll have written an entire book.
The key to transformation is not grand, sporadic efforts, but the ability to show up consistently, even when it feels like nothing is changing. The world rewards persistence, not perfection. When you trust the process and remain committed, the transformation you seek will occur, often in ways that are not immediately obvious. Small actions may not produce instant results, but they compound over time to create something far greater than what you could have achieved in a single burst of effort.
In essence, consistency is the invisible force that shapes the path to your success. It's the small, everyday choices that align with your bigger vision that build the foundation for a life of transformation. By showing up day in and day out, you shape your future in ways that will eventually blow your mind.
Discipline is more powerful than motivation. This concept strikes at the heart of personal development and success, emphasizing the crucial role that consistent, intentional actions play in achieving long-term goals. Motivation is often fleeting and unreliable, a burst of energy that comes and goes based on external factors such as emotions, circumstances, or inspiration. It’s natural to feel motivated when things are going well or when you’re excited about a new project, but what happens when that initial spark fades? Without discipline, motivation alone cannot sustain progress.
Discipline, on the other hand, is a force that doesn’t rely on emotions or external circumstances. It’s about commitment to your goals even when the excitement wanes or when challenges arise. Discipline is the ability to stick to your plan, follow through on your actions, and keep moving forward, even when you don’t feel like it. It’s the routine, the habits, and the mindset that ensures you continue making progress, regardless of how you feel in the moment.
For instance, think about an athlete training for a competition. Motivation might get them to the gym on the first day, but it’s discipline that ensures they continue to show up, day after day, putting in the necessary work to improve. There will be days when they don’t feel like training, when they’re tired or when life gets in the way, but it’s their discipline that pushes them to follow through, even on those difficult days.
Discipline is a reflection of your values and commitment. It shows that you’re not swayed by temporary emotions or circumstances but are focused on the bigger picture and long-term success. Where motivation might be inconsistent, discipline provides the foundation for sustained effort. It’s what helps you develop the habits that lead to success, whether it’s waking up early to work on your goals, pushing through setbacks, or working steadily towards something that requires patience and persistence.
Moreover, discipline breeds confidence and self-respect. When you commit to a course of action and consistently follow through, you build trust in your own abilities. You know that, no matter what, you will do the work, and that reliability brings confidence. Over time, discipline helps you develop a strong work ethic and an attitude of persistence. It becomes ingrained in who you are, and it guides you in all aspects of your life.
Ultimately, while motivation can get you started, discipline is what will carry you through. It’s the quiet, steady force that ensures you continue even when the initial excitement has faded. Discipline keeps you grounded, keeps you consistent, and most importantly, it ensures that you keep making progress, step by step, towards your ultimate goals.
The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your habits. Every day, we engage in a series of habits that shape our thoughts, actions, and ultimately, the course of our lives. From the moment we wake up to the time we go to bed, we are constantly making choices that either elevate us or hold us back. It’s easy to overlook the significance of small, everyday actions, but over time, they accumulate and define who we are and what we become.
Our habits can either support our success or hinder it. Positive habits such as exercising, reading, setting goals, or practicing mindfulness contribute to a better quality of life. These habits foster personal growth, health, and well-being. They create a foundation upon which we can build a more fulfilling, successful life. On the other hand, negative habits like procrastination, poor eating, lack of exercise, or negative thinking patterns can have the opposite effect, leading to stress, unfulfilled potential, and missed opportunities.
The quality of your habits affects every aspect of your life, from your mental and physical health to your relationships and career. For example, consistently practicing gratitude and positivity can shift your mindset, making you more resilient in the face of challenges. On the other hand, harboring negative thoughts or engaging in self-sabotaging behavior can limit your ability to see possibilities, creating a cycle of negativity that keeps you stuck. Similarly, the habit of taking care of your body through regular exercise, eating well, and getting enough sleep directly impacts your physical health and energy levels, allowing you to live a more vibrant, productive life.
Habits also play a crucial role in our emotional and mental well-being. Consistently taking time for self-care, reflection, and relaxation helps reduce stress and build a sense of inner peace. However, ignoring these needs and allowing negative habits to take over can lead to burnout, anxiety, and dissatisfaction. The way you take care of your mind and body influences how you approach challenges, relationships, and your overall happiness.
Success is not achieved through grand, sporadic actions; it is built through the small, daily decisions we make. The habits you develop today will determine the trajectory of your life tomorrow. By cultivating positive habits and breaking free from negative ones, you can improve your quality of life in meaningful ways. Every small positive change you make today can lead to big transformations in the future. It’s the sum of these habits that will ultimately shape your destiny, so it’s essential to consciously choose habits that align with the life you want to live.
Lasting success is built on simple daily routines, repeated with purpose. It is easy to think that success is about one big breakthrough, a moment of luck, or a single extraordinary effort. However, the truth is that success is usually the result of consistent, everyday actions performed with intent and focus. The daily routines we build shape our future, and the small habits we practice daily compound over time to create significant change.
Success is not achieved by doing something extraordinary once in a while but by showing up and doing the right things every single day. Whether it’s setting aside time for work, prioritizing self-care, practicing gratitude, or honing a skill, these simple actions repeated daily make all the difference. It’s the act of consistency that pushes us forward and brings us closer to our goals, even when we don’t see immediate results.
Many successful individuals achieve their goals not through talent or shortcuts, but through their ability to stick to routines that serve them. They make progress by doing simple things like reading daily, exercising regularly, or taking time to reflect. These routines, while seemingly small, are purposeful, and each one plays a role in contributing to long-term success. A key factor is the intention behind these actions. It’s not about mindlessly going through the motions, but about performing tasks with clear goals in mind and understanding why you’re doing them.
When we think of daily routines, we may picture mundane or repetitive tasks, but these are the very things that, when done correctly, build momentum and bring about lasting change. A morning routine might involve waking up early, meditating, exercising, or reading—small steps that prepare the mind and body for the day ahead. By repeating these actions daily, we develop discipline, and over time, they become second nature. Each routine reinforces our commitment to our goals and brings us closer to them.
Moreover, these routines provide structure and stability in our lives. They help us stay organized and focused, even when things feel chaotic or uncertain. Knowing that we have a set routine helps reduce stress, makes us more productive, and builds the confidence that we are steadily progressing toward our dreams. It’s not always about working harder; it’s about working smarter and maintaining a rhythm that supports our growth.
The real power lies in the repetition. It’s easy to overlook the small things, but it’s these very actions, practiced day after day, that lead to transformation. Lasting success doesn’t come from grand gestures, but from simple, purposeful routines that accumulate over time, shaping our character, our abilities, and ultimately, our success.
These habits become part of your identity. You start seeing yourself differently—not as someone who "wants" success, but as someone who lives like a success. It’s not about being busy; it’s about being intentional. Every day is a chance to reinforce the life you want. Or repeat the life you want to leave behind.
So stop waiting for the perfect moment. Start with one habit. One decision. One change. Because these small habits are not small at all—they are the foundation of your future. The version of you you dream about is already possible. You just need to build the habits that will take you there.
