getting started in the gym for the girls
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
for the girlies who are excited to get fit this year—i’m so, so proud of you. here are a few things i’d tell myself if i could go back to when i first started.
first things first
ditch the “i need to crush it every day” mentality. that’s how you burn out, not build strength.
you don’t have to look like a fitness influencer on day one (trust me, no one’s watching you that closely anyway). be kind to yourself, especially when things get tough. no one starts off lifting 50-pound dumbbells.
progress isn’t linear. some days you’ll feel like you’re killing it, other days it’ll feel like you can’t even do a single push-up. that’s normal!
shoes!
you don’t need every piece of gym equipment you see on tiktok on to get started. here’s the real MVP: a good pair of sneakers.
you don’t need anything too fancy, but you do need something that can handle a variety of workouts. here are some great options:
nike air zoom pegasus 40
adidas ultraboost 23
new balance fresh foam 1080v12
check out outlet stores, amazon, or dsw for deals that won’t hurt your wallet.
clothes!
no need to splurge on high-end brands like lululemon when affordable options exist that work just as well.
target’s all in motion line: super affordable (leggings for $20–$30) and cute enough to wear outside the gym.
old navy activewear: comfy, supportive, and usually around $25–$40.
walmart athletic works: comfy, super affordable prices range between $18-35
amazon activewear: brands like baleaf and crz yoga are highly rated and won’t break the bank.
aerie: blends athleisure with everyday wear, usually priced around $30–$50.
the goal is to feel comfortable, not restricted, so you can focus on moving your body.
consistency > perfection
when you’re starting out, consistency is the name of the game. show up—even if it’s just for 20 minutes. those little wins add up, whether it’s going to the gym three times a week or doing an extra set of squats.
you’ll get stronger every time, and the results will come. just keep showing up.
you’ve got this!! 💪

First day at the gym – let’s go! 🏋‍♀️
May 19, 2025 – Starting at 100.3 kg and bringing you along on my journey😊.
It’s not about perfection, but about progress, showing up, and celebrating the small wins🥰.
I want to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident – one step at a time😊.
From now on, I’ll be posting an after-gym photo every week to track my progress and stay motivated.
If you're on your own journey too: you're not alone!
Let’s grow, sweat & glow together!😊
Real. Imperfect. With heart. 💙

Investing in Yourself: The Ultimate Power Move
Tumblr media
In a world that constantly tries to pull you in a hundred different directions, the most important investment you can make isn’t in stocks, real estate, or even Bitcoin—it’s in yourself. That investment doesn’t have to look like any one thing; it’s a mindset, a commitment to forward motion, no matter what form it takes.
The Many Faces of Self-Investment
Investing in yourself can mean:
Learning a new skill or refining an old one.
Taking care of your physical and mental health.
Reading, researching, and expanding your knowledge.
Surrounding yourself with people who push you to be better.
Setting goals and actually working toward them.
Taking risks that align with your long-term vision.
Financially positioning yourself for the future by adopting sound investment strategies.
It’s not about perfection; it’s about progress. Every step forward, no matter how small, compounds over time. Just like Bitcoin’s steady block confirmations, each effort builds on the last, creating something unshakable.
The Cost of Stagnation
If you’re not moving forward, you’re falling behind. The world doesn’t stop evolving, and neither should you. The worst thing you can do is remain stuck in place, whether due to fear, doubt, or the illusion of comfort. Growth isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it.
Think about it this way: Every time you invest in yourself—whether it’s through education, discipline, or self-care—you’re upgrading your operating system. You’re future-proofing yourself against stagnation, irrelevance, and regret.
I’ve personally seen how self-investment pays off. When I first started learning about Bitcoin, I didn’t fully understand the scope of what I was stepping into. But through constant research, engagement, and reflection, I was able to see not just financial potential but a paradigm shift in how we view value and personal sovereignty. That level of insight didn’t come from staying comfortable—it came from a commitment to learning and adapting.
Dollar-Cost Averaging into Bitcoin: One of the Best Investments
When we talk about investing in ourselves, financial literacy is a key component. And one of the smartest financial strategies you can adopt is dollar-cost averaging (DCA) into Bitcoin. Instead of trying to time the market or chase quick wins, DCA allows you to steadily accumulate Bitcoin over time, smoothing out volatility and ensuring you’re consistently growing your holdings.
This approach is simple yet powerful. Whether you invest $10 a week or $100 a month, the key is consistency. Bitcoin is the hardest form of money humanity has ever seen, and by steadily stacking sats, you’re not just securing your financial future—you’re also making a conscious decision to step outside the traditional financial system’s instability.
Think of it like investing in your future self. Just as you build knowledge, skills, and resilience over time, stacking Bitcoin consistently puts you in a stronger financial position down the road. Those who started DCAing into Bitcoin years ago are now reaping the benefits—not because they tried to game the market, but because they had the discipline to stay the course.
Keep the Momentum Going
Self-investment isn’t a one-time thing; it’s a lifestyle. The goal is to become a person who constantly seeks improvement, not because you aren’t good enough as you are, but because you recognize your own limitless potential.
So whether it’s hitting the gym, diving into a new book, sharpening your mind, or making smart financial moves like DCAing into Bitcoin, make the choice today to invest in yourself. Your future self will thank you.
Tick Tock, Next Block.

Life on earth is all about progress, growth and learning that you, your authentic self is truly enough. All these life lessons are not meant to break you but help you build your resolve to stay true to yourself. Being adaptive and flexible are tools that should be used for your own good. However, oftentimes you still stubbornly cling to circumstances and people you innately know do not serve your highest good.
Tumblr media
The struggle is real but the Divine never gives up and life will devise a way to pry your grasping fingers off your dud prize one by one if necessary until you release and move on. The vast majority will agree in hindsight that their most painful struggles has always birthed their best self. Your hurt was an organic response to help you recognise that you have been wronged. You were not supposed to cling to the ensuing pain forever and allow it to harden your heart. When your life appears to shatter around you, it is difficult to not be transfixed by all the wrongs in your life and feel defeated, like a moth to a flame. Acknowledge that though heartbreak is brutal, it is the actions you take now that will allow you to start afresh.

Happy New Year 2025: Be Kind to Yourself and Move Forward Shaina Tranquilino January 1, 2025
Welcome to January 2025! A fresh year is ahead, full of possibilities, growth, and new beginnings. The turning of the calendar invites us to reflect on the past while stepping forward with hope and intention. As we embrace this new chapter, one of the most important things we can do is practice kindness—not just toward others, but toward ourselves.
Let Go of the Weight of the Past
As much as we’d like to start the new year with a completely clean slate, we all carry experiences, mistakes, and lessons from the past. Some moments bring joy, while others remind us of struggles. But here’s the truth: you are not defined by your past mistakes or regrets. Every experience has shaped you into who you are today, and the best thing you can do is take the lessons forward while leaving the guilt behind.
Self-forgiveness is a powerful tool. If there are things from last year that still weigh on you, acknowledge them, learn from them, and then give yourself permission to move on. You deserve to walk into 2025 without the baggage of self-doubt and regret.
Be Kind to Yourself This Year
So often, we are our own harshest critics. We set high expectations, compare ourselves to others, and feel like we’re falling short. But growth isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. This year, make a commitment to speak to yourself with kindness and compassion.
Celebrate small wins.
Allow yourself to rest without guilt.
Set boundaries that protect your energy.
Recognize that it’s okay to have off days.
Remember that your worth isn’t tied to productivity.
By being gentle with yourself, you create space for true growth and happiness.
Embrace Change and New Beginnings
A new year is an opportunity to set new goals and dream bigger. Whether it’s personal development, relationships, health, or career aspirations, embrace the journey ahead with an open heart. Instead of setting unrealistic resolutions that only lead to frustration, focus on small, meaningful changes. Take things one step at a time, knowing that each step forward—no matter how small—is a victory.
Life will bring unexpected twists, but instead of fearing change, trust that you have the strength to adapt and grow. The best things often come from moments we didn’t plan, and 2025 might just surprise you in wonderful ways.
Moving Forward with Hope
As we step into this new year, let’s carry hope, kindness, and resilience with us. Be proud of how far you’ve come, even if the journey hasn’t been perfect. Surround yourself with people who uplift you, and most importantly, be that source of kindness for yourself.
Here’s to a year of growth, healing, and new adventures. Happy New Year 2025—may it be filled with love, joy, and the peace that comes from knowing you are enough just as you are.

Hejka, kochani!
No, sama jestem zaskoczona, co potrafię!
Później przyszła do mnie moja przyjaciółka Nikola.
Moja mama zrobiła do nich jeszcze polewkę.
(Wiktor to obecnie moja wielka sympatia.)

Sometimes, life feels like we’re walking uphill with a boulder on our backs, right? Progress seems slow, and the weight of the world? Heavy. But let me tell you something: growth isn’t a straight path. It’s full of curves, dead-ends, and uncharted detours. And that’s where the magic happens. It’s in those quiet, frustrating moments that strength is born. You might feel like you’re barely moving, but each step, no matter how small, matters. Each stumble, each pause, each moment of doubt — they’re all part of your story. Here’s the truth: setbacks aren’t failures; they’re signposts, pointing you towards something greater. You’re not just walking; you’re evolving. So, next time life throws a curveball, don’t fear the pause. Embrace it. Because it’s in the becoming that the most powerful stories are written. Yours is one of them.

Transform Your Life: A Comprehensive Guide to Sustainable Weight Loss
Are you ready to transform your life and achieve your weight loss goals? Embarking on a weight loss journey is a powerful step toward improving your health, boosting your confidence, and enhancing your overall well-being. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you achieve sustainable weight loss and create lasting healthy habits.
1. Understand Your Why
Before starting your weight loss journey, take a moment to reflect on your motivations. Understanding your “why” will provide you with a powerful source of motivation. Whether it’s improving your health, increasing your energy levels, or feeling more confident, having a clear purpose will keep you focused and committed.
2. Create a Balanced Meal Plan
A balanced meal plan is essential for effective weight loss. Focus on incorporating a variety of nutrient-dense foods into your diet. Fill your plate with colorful fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats. Avoid restrictive diets that eliminate entire food groups, as they can lead to nutrient deficiencies and are difficult to maintain long-term.
3. Practice Mindful Eating
Mindful eating involves paying attention to your hunger and fullness cues, eating slowly, and savoring each bite. This practice helps prevent overeating and fosters a healthier relationship with food. Avoid distractions like TV or smartphones during meals to fully enjoy and appreciate your food.
4. Stay Active
Regular physical activity is crucial for weight loss and overall health. Find an exercise routine that you enjoy, whether it’s jogging, swimming, yoga, or dancing. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per week. Incorporating strength training exercises twice a week can also help build muscle and boost metabolism.
5. Hydrate Wisely
Staying hydrated is essential for weight loss. Drinking water before meals can help control your appetite and prevent overeating. Replace sugary beverages with water, herbal teas, or infused water with slices of fruits and vegetables for a refreshing twist.
6. Get Adequate Sleep
Quality sleep is often overlooked in weight loss plans. Lack of sleep can disrupt hormones that regulate hunger and appetite, leading to weight gain. Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per night to support your weight loss efforts and overall well-being.
7. Manage Stress Effectively
Chronic stress can contribute to weight gain by triggering emotional eating and cravings for unhealthy foods. Incorporate stress management techniques such as meditation, deep breathing exercises, or hobbies you enjoy. Taking time for self-care can significantly impact your weight loss journey.
8. Keep a Journal
Keeping a journal can help you track your food intake, exercise, and progress. It’s a great way to identify patterns, celebrate achievements, and stay accountable. Write down your thoughts, feelings, and any challenges you face along the way.
9. Build a Support Network
Having a support network can make a significant difference in your weight loss journey. Surround yourself with positive influences, whether it’s friends, family, or a support group. Sharing your experiences, challenges, and successes with others can provide encouragement and motivation.
10. Be Patient and Persistent
Weight loss is a gradual process that requires patience and persistence. There will be setbacks, but it’s important to stay focused on your long-term goals. Celebrate small victories along the way and remember that consistency is key to achieving lasting results.
Your Journey to a Healthier You
Embarking on a weight loss journey is a powerful commitment to your health and well-being. By incorporating these strategies into your daily routine, you can achieve sustainable weight loss and build lasting healthy habits. Remember, the journey to a healthier you is a marathon, not a sprint. Stay positive, stay committed, and enjoy the transformation. Your healthier, happier self awaits!
