I just realized in the Ambush Sim AU that Deku has the option to call the Vanguard here, and that idea is hilarious.

He couldn't alert the authorities because that would have gotten the culture fest canceled, but calling the random vigilante crew he knows for backup just eliminates that problem.

I've also headcanoned in the past that Mr. Compress and Gentle Criminal are too similar and therefore have had an ongoing feud that's been happening for over a decade. So this probably isn't the first time the Vanguard has encountered Gentle Criminal and La Brava.

They do not like each other. No one is entirely sure what started the feud, but they argue and exchange insults like catty, Victorian men who are convinced the other is stealing their academic research and passing it off as their own.

Spinner once took it upon himself to point out most of the issues Compress has with Gentle are in fact traits he himself possesses and immediately regretted his words.
