💛 What kind of works are allowed?

All types of fan creations are welcome, as long as they center on fluff! That includes:

✨ Fanfiction (one-shots, drabbles, multi-chapter fics etc) ✨ Fanart (drawings, comics, doodles, digital or traditional) ✨ Moodboards, aesthetics, and playlists ✨ Edits, GIFs, and even memes! ✨ Poetry and headcanons ✨ Anything else creative, as long as it fits the fluff theme!

💛 Are “X Reader” fics allowed?

Absolutely! X Reader, self-insert, and OC-focused works are all welcome.

Everyone deserves to be wrapped in the warmth of their favorite characters! Just make sure the fic still fits the fluff theme and we're all good!

💛 Does it have to be romantic fluff, or can it be platonic/family-oriented?

Fluff is fluff! This event is NOT limited to romantic ships. You can absolutely write about:

If the ship has an inherently toxic or non-consensual element in canon, you must focus on a softer, kinder interpretation. ✔️ No ship-bashing. This event is a drama-free, ship-war-free space. 💛 What is NOT allowed?

This event is meant to be a safe, positive space, so certain topics will not be accepted in the AO3 collection or event tag. Enough of that boring realism for now! Behold, sinner, an angel!

Spent too much on this one just because I tried to figure out what tool works best for me as a liner. More than less I am pleased with this piece.

I also was fighting with myself over that hell of a neckline that became a boob window in the end, even though I tried to avoid it through several redesigns there's always next one. Not sure who lost in this situation lol.

In the mood to write some info about this fantasy. I understand that a ship like that is not everyone's cup of tea, BUT it's not for everyone, it's for ME :D

How character came to be in the first place?

I was gifted Far Cry 6 with Collapse DLC and after playing through it, I had some things to say to Joseph. So I needed an avatar to channel my thoughts. Self insert is always an option, but at the moment I was tired of drawing myself and was not in the mood to make another sona. Besides an unusual looking interpretation of Joseph's mind called for some ethereal entity, not a sad bitch like me lol

I also at the moment was obsessed with playing Warframe (still is), design of my character is based on a frame with the same name - Wisp. Her whole theme is being ethereal and wispy, ghostly character, moving between the fabrics of reality, which works nice with The Bliss, I think. And she has no feet. I'm not sure why it became such a thing for me in this case, I just like this artistic choice, that's all.

Is this character a self insert?

Well, in the end not at all😂 Whatever I wanted to tell through her was taken by the wind it seems. When I started thinking about Blissed Wisp, her biography and their interactions with Joseph, I came to realization that she would be just as easily manipulated by him as so many other characters in the plot, therefore will not say a single word from what was intended to be said in the first place.

If character has to fight, what's their weapon of choice?

Blissed Wisp is a skilled fighter (was created to be) and can use any fire weapon available. However her angelic image in the Project of Eden's Gate limits her choices of weapon to hand to hand combat, which would really be a problem only for her opponents since she is much stronger that an average human being and can injure a person without putting effort into it. She has an option to display her divine power (which are based on warframe abilities as well) but burning people alive is not exactly her cup of tea, so she is restraining herself from using it as well. Blissed Wisp leans more into scaring her opponents - her unusual appearance is just enough to do that - or confuse them by pretending to be a ghostly apparition in the woods.

What song describes character and their partner/love interest?

Who is she? - I Monster

Wisp was a mute witness to Joseph's reflections for years, carefully looking through his thoughts and memories without him noticing. He wasn't the only one she was able to reach, but somehow became most fascinating one to her. For many years after she first spoke to him, Joseph wasn't able to even imagine her face, most probably because she was not allowing him to do that: unsure of how long their connection would last, she figured her appearance was unnecessary information for Joseph to know.

However after some time their established relationship and Seed's religiously charged attitude lead to him become strengthened in faith that he in his mind was talking to an angel or a deity, wishing to get closer to her someday and meet in person if possible, since he was aware that Wisp wasn't just a incorporeal entity (despite her name).

With that desire there were many times Joseph "called" her name in his prayers to engage in conversations.

Where does character live?

Many years was spent in the science facility. I already said before that Far Cry 5 and New Dawn with it's Bliss are two steps away from Outlast and SCP, so I figured making a lab rat of a character that got turned basically into cyborg wasn't really that long of a stretch, but you don't need to agree.

If Wisp arrives in Hope County in time closer to Far Cry 5 dates, her place of residence would be a run down church somewhere in Henbane River region. When she's not there, she is rolling across the bliss fields just genuinely enjoying her freedom under the sun.

She doesn't really hide and is no stranger to cultists in other regions, but in general avoids being seen by people that are not following Joseph's word.

If Wisp arrives in what's left of Hope County by the time of New Dawn, she sticks to New Eden's region, mostly by Joseph's side, helping him with whatever and protecting his people.

How does character handle their mental health? Do they take care of themselves?

Frankly has no idea what mental health is, when it comes to her, trauma is not a word Wisp would use to describe her struggles, yet she is not just traumatized, but was trained for decades to believe that all the suffering she endured - mental and physical - is for the greater purpose that she might not even understand, but pain is inescapable.

However in case of other people, Blissed Wisp mostly understands the needlessness of their suffering, therefore when being a witness to people mental or physical struggles, she feels compassion and expresses it without doubts.

How do Seeds feel about the character?

As was said, obviously Joseph is a big fan. They have a long lasting connection that in some scenarios grows into kind of a romance between a mere man and a deity. Besides the fact that Joseph cherishes his relationship with Blissed Wisp, his Pride cannot help but make somewhat subtle advances towards her now and again in an attempt to strengthen his feeling of uniqueness and chosenness: a unique partner for The Chosen Son of God and Savior of Humanity sounds just right in his mind.

Jacob keeps his distance and is a bit afraid of the entity that Blissed Wisp appears to be in his eyes. Despite the fact that of all people her and Jacob could've find quite a few themes to talk about, he has a hard time to accept her existence, since none of his beliefs really implied the possibility of meeting something like Wisp at all. Of all heralds he is the one who is closed away from Wisp's influence and does not appreciate her in the mountains.

Faith is almost as big of a fan as Joseph, though she is not aware of Blissed Wisp's real nature and believes in her angelic origin, which is not surprising since girl is probably high most of the time. But then again, Wisp was able to insert herself into The Bliss, and that made girls grow closer to each other at least on that topic.

John Seed takes very little of this angelic bullshit, but keeps his mouth shut to appease Joseph first and foremost. He does not believe in Blissed Wisp being an angel, and in his eyes, if paranormal exists, she is a demon at best. However he is not nearly as closed as his older brother and is able to open his mind to Wisp in some cases.

Why this name?

Wisp is not the name of this woman, but the name of the entity she was designed to be. The purposes she was created for did not imply her having a name at all.

Blissed she became under Joseph's influence at Eden's Gate.

What people say about the character?

Though Blissed Wisp is not exactly hiding from people, the influence of Eden's Gate has spread so much, barely any person outside the project would be able to catch a glance of this unusual looking gal. But some did, and that made her into some sort of a local cryptid. Obviously not too many people believe that there is an actual angel roaming Hope County, but people talk there is some... thing.

Sharky was able not only see Blissed Wisp, but have a small chat with her as well and after that just calls her "Joseph's chick" absolutely ignoring her name.

Okay so, currently being not normal™️ about Ghost’s mask.

Look, I don’t have a big thing for masks or anything — If anything it’s one of the reasons why Ghost was the last member of the 141 to click with me (that’s a story for another day, moving on) — that being said, I love love love when Ghost’s mask is used as a narrative tool.

Like, as much as it’s to keep his identity hidden, it’s obviously a way he keeps people at arm’s length, right? How can they actually know him if they couldn’t even pick his face out of a crowd?

To me, that intentionally or not puts so much weight into how it’s handled the first time he kisses someone in a fic. (Doesn’t matter if it’s Soap, a reader/self-insert, Gaz, Price, ect.) As much as I love when whoever’s kissing him flips up his mask, or gently pushes his smoke/drink/whatever out of the way— I find it so much more impactful when they kiss him through his mask.

Bonus points if he had it flipped up for whatever reason, and they gently pull it back down first.

And then, then, when the kiss breaks, if Ghost pulls his mask back up over his nose, and kisses them again? Especially if it’s slow and soft?

Because maybe they don’t know everything about him, maybe they never will, but he’s willing to try and trust them a little bit more time and time again and they’re willing to respect that, love that he’s trying for them, and are grateful for what he does let them see. And I just—

Will I go and use this in my own fics with Ghost in it? Perchance. (I will. Probably too much. It will become a thing in my stories like me kidnapping characters, or lighting things on fire, or writing characters hanging out in bars. Do I care? This is still a WIP but the basic gist of what I have so far is that Ros does similar work to what I do irl (writing and editing) but it’s more geared toward music, so lyric writing and critiquing demos and stuff. I’m also a self shipper and any stuff I do relating to that is gonna be a little more complicated to explain, but essentially she has some messy history with Knubbler who she eventually stopped talking too until Dethklok hired her and they were forced to work together again. She does a lot of assistant work for Charles too which is how she knows him (and so far is the only worker/assistant there that HASN’T brutally died or gotten mutilated 💋). I haven’t fully figured out what her role in AOTDS will be just yet but I know I want it to be relating to the moon (reference to my username lol). I’m thinking she can do some astrology and moon sign magic stuff to help learn about/fight the Metalocalypse. Lots of mythical stuff, weird antics, and stupid love triangle possibly polycule stuff gonna be in this story. Might write a fanfic if I find the time. When you explain why he just frowns, crosses his arms over his chest. He scoffs when you say they're 'childish', bending at the waist to lean closer to you.

"Babe, do you forget who you're gonna be living with? I love those silly stickers. Love 'em more 'cuz they're part of your story. So c'mon, let's get some tape and put them back up, hm? Oh! Better yet, let's add more!!"

...aaand that's how you end up with a wall full of various stickers, and whenever Satoru sees a sticker sheet he likes, he buys two pairs-one to put on his students' exam sheets when grading, and one to put up on the wall alongside the ones from your childhood ✨

Geto leans onto the door frame, observing you for a long moment, before asking "What're you doing?"

When you explain he just nods slowly, already scheming something behind those dark eyes of his.

"Baby, are you sure that's what you want? You know I don't mind one bit if those stickers are up there or not. If anything, I'm pretty sure the girls would love 'em."

When you insist he doesn't push it, lets you take them off the wall. The next day though when you get home, you find the wall the stickers were placed on has now been painted over with chalk paint-essentially turning the entire thing into to a black board, Nanako and Mimiko gleefully drawing flowers, bunnies, writing scribbles up on it with pink and blue chalk.

Suguru stands a few feet behind them, and though he's not writing anything right now, you can see a couple doodles clearly made by him up on the wall, his palms stained white and pink and blue. He turns to you with a grin, nodding for you to come closer.

When you do he hands you a few different colored chalks, kisses you on the cheek.

"I know those stickers held a ton of memories for you-so I figured since you took them off, we could make some new memories. Together."

Nanami comes home just as you remove the last sticker, noticing you piling the removed stickers on a nearby table. He frowns at your actions, asks you what it is you're doing. He...doesn't say much when you explain it to him, merely nods. You might've thought he didn't care-though you'd be wrong.

Later that night, you find Nanami at the living room, a file opened up on his lap, a clear film inside it where he oh-so-carefully sticks the stickers you'd taken off of the wall, delicately placing them so they resemble the constellation they were shaped like when placed onto the wall.

You lean over him to see what he's doing and he casually turns and kisses you, smiling.

"These mean a lot to you. Just because they're not placed up on display still doesn't mean they deserve to be discarded."

So that's how you end up with the so-called 'memory file', wherein you place little bobs and trinkets from your life with Nanami-ticket stubs, polaroid pictures, and of course, those stickers.

From the night sky, Hikari emerged as a fallen star into Earthrealm, possessing unique powers and an unclear purpose. With no home or family, Hikari attempted to fend for themself all alone, but they finally found a home as they were taken under Madam Bo's wing. They may not have found their purpose, but the light that guided them knew that this was only the beginning.

BACKSTORIES AND PERSONALITY UNDER THE CUT

Personality

Hikari is rather shy and withdrawn, often avoiding conflict at any given moment. Nobody really hears them talk, so it often catches people by surprise whenever they actually use their voice. This doesn't mean they're entirely anti-social, seeing as whenever they open up to people, they become a lot more chatty and bright.

Backstory

Hikari has two versions of their backstory, as they're more of an open-ended character — a self insert, a blank canvas for me to write whatever I want. This isn't just a choice as a creator and stuff, but also part of their lore as well.

As I mentioned in my Kombatober angst post, an outer force had reset the timeline. That outer force is me, rewriting the story for my own indulgence. It's like if our fanfics and fan-created stuff actually applied to the MK1 universe. I like to reimagine scenarios and storylines in my head, so I applied doing that to the timelines as 'resetting it'. Nobody recollects these resets in the timeline, not even Geras or Liu Kang. Hikari can only faintly remember or recognize events from previous timeline events, but it's a very blurry memory and it's not enough to actually have any weight for them and they never retain these memories long enough for them to piece everything together.

VERSION 1

Nobody really knows Hikari's origins. They literally just fell from the sky and landed in some forest in America. They spent a good chunk of their childhood fending for themself, often finding drawing as an escape from their unfortunate situation.

At around the age of 10, Hikari ends up getting stuck on a cargo boat after looking for food. The boat ended up in China, where they had to once more navigate their strange new place. They eventually find themself in Fengjian, where Madam Bo spots them trying to steal food from the kitchen. She takes them in as her adopted child, raising her alongside Sektor (familiar story, am I right?)

VERSION 2

Hikari falls from the sky (still with unknown origins) but is a full-grown adult rather than a child or something. They land in the Wu Shi academy and is taken in by Liu Kang. He introduces them to the Lin Kuei brothers and becomes recognized as an unofficial member of the clan, seeing as Bi-Han didn't see the value in their powers like others did.

We need to have another chat again! About ✨BOUNDARIES✨

So, I have been having an issue with people thinking they can be rude to me or even playfully rude to me in my asks. I honestly thought turning off anon asks would stop people from doing that but apparently not!

I don't know what gives them the idea that they can joke in a rude way towards me when I have no idea who they are lol. It is starting to delve into the parasocial territory where they think we are on friend terms of joking in a mean spirited way, when I only interacted with them maybe once or never. ( I've dealt with someone who became parasocial with me when I started out on Tumblr, and it genuinely freaked me out, so please knock it off!)

I let it go before, but it's getting annoying lol.

And another thing, I'm starting to not want to answer asks of people wanting me to draw them/their Oc/ self-insert interacting with my Sun and Moon because it's just mostly them wanting me to draw their characters being rude or even hurting Sun and Moon.

And that's just gonna lead to a lot of people getting upset in my inbox lol. ( Also being rude to me while also wanting me to draw your Oc is definitely not gonna make me want to draw something for you!)

Not to mention some of you are wanting me to draw waaaaay too intimate stuff with your Ocs/self-inserts and Sun/Moon where I'm getting uncomfortable. So uh just simmer down some alright?

Hello tumblr this is my witch oc Cole...she Doesn't Really Do Anything Yet but at least she looks kinda cool!!! (more below)

To be honest she's a soot (& ash?) witch. She's kinda amateurish and kinda sucks/is a flop in the witch community or whatever. I have never been good at creative writing/making stories, I've had this character since 2018 and still don't have a story for her, only ✨Vibes✨. She is kind of a self-insert but i like to tell myself she's not *just* a self-insert.

I have another character I made more recently who's a spidery ghost skeleton girl (not pictured here), she was initially separate but I figured out a way to connect them that makes sense & is interesting. I've only really thought about random details of that setup and still don't have any overarching story yet.

Here's some half assed expression exploration thing I did for a character design class in college, the important part of this is the hedgehog in the corner. Its funny because it has the same design motif as her you see... (black and spiky)

and here are the very first drawings I made of her in 2018, design has changed a little since then

I also like these kind of recent doodles, but I didn't put them at the top because oh my god shes in the same pose for all of these.....💔

One last thing, a design detail I like are the soot smudges on her cheeks that look like blush but aren't.
